honestly I don't have the faintest fucking clue cause most of us are not in high school anymore. pickup is mostly oriented at situations for older people.

I guess confidence is in even shorter supply in high school than in environments with older people, so try starting from there.
if your high school isn't very big then , if i remember correctly :P , your social status will also play a big role in your ability to pick up girls. if you have a big school then that makes it easier because you can fake being an alpha-male in stead of needing to have the reputation of one.
girls in high school are also still very immature, so don't get bothered if they become all giggly and gossipy; they'll grow up.

for the rest just hang around, use what you already learned these weeks, absorb more stuff and have fun practicing for the big leagues later in life ;)

People are still figuring shit out in high school, and the insecurity and inherent cliquey-ness of that age can make things needlessly difficult at times. Your best bet is just to be ballsy and ask girls out. A few will say yes, a few more will say no. Don't let it get to you. Just keep at it and eventually you'll get somewhere.

The good news is there are lots of girls who are just as eager to experiment sexually as there are guys. You just gotta remember that most of them are worried about looking slutty, so be discrete about it. Don't be an idiot and brag to all your friends about the AV club chick giving you a blowjob in the dark room. Just be cool. And if nothing happens while you're in high school, don't worry about it. Most people I know didn't get laid until they were well out of high school.

Here is what you need to know. I graduated 2 years ago and I was known by most sophomores, juniors and seniors so I have some experience and some things i realized when i left.

All the girls already know you, they are either attracted to you or not.
Girls care what their other friends think / say about them.
DO NOT give a shit what anyone thinks because it's not going to matter as soon as you graduate.
You know the slutty girls, the girls that are hard to get and the ones you need to put work in. Choose one and stick with it
Do not waste your time with one girl, it's honestly pointless if you don't see it going anywhere
It's much easier usually from what i'v seen to go for the girls a grade below. Don't go for two grades below because that will ruin your social status
Make yourself look important and wanted, get everyone to like you, be the COOL kid that everyone likes but not an asshole.
Hangout with your friends more, get girls to hangout with you (grades are important too)
Don't be afraid to let someone know you're attracted to them, it's childish to try to hide it.

I can't really come up with more but think about everything that is said on "seduction" and what i said, try to see how you can connect them together to make things work.
