The issue lies within them believing there is a lack of common ground between you and them. Even though this is bullshit, you'll need to display that you're "On their level". That or talk to more open minded people, not all students are that stuck up.

If you feel this is a legitimate issue, find a way to connect to the school without attending.

I graduated college a few years ago but I bought a season pass to the theatre on campus so I can see shows and be back on campus. Anything like that will reduce the disconnected feeling the girl might have.

The same crap they get for paying thousands and thousands of dollars you can get from a few books and YouTube videos.

Flip the script on them. If they try to directly bash at you, laugh and tell them what do they know besides rote memorization that lucidly shows a more cerebral and existential level of their being.

Honestly d if the girl is doing a PHD or something and you '' flip burgers '' you don't start out too well. I hate to break it to you but some people will like to interact with people with high education .... I'm studying in University and I tend to get along better with students , dosen't mean I snob other peoples but It's just kind of true you can relate on so much things and higer education helps with critical thinkings and stuff like that.... Fuck them
