And it's wasn't a big deal. It was actually pretty funny.

Background: I enjoy pickup. It's a fun hobby and it improves your social skills. You have crazy adventures like the one I had tonight.

Start chatting with 2 girls outside after bar close with 2 of my buddies. Good vibe with them for all 3 of us. I go away, let them handle it and come back 10 mins later. Still good vibe. One of the girls thinks I'm gay lol. I shoot the shit with her for 5-10 mins. I tell her multiple times I'm not gay but I laugh everytime afterwards so I probably confuse the shit of her and she doesn't believe me. Then she brings it up again and I say "Do you want to find out?" She smiles and says "Okay I believe you now." I take it a step further and tell a little joke that's starts "Here's how you can find out. If you suck my dick..." She gets a little mad, stops me and gets her friend and asks me to tell the joke again. I start again. "HYPOTHETICALLY, if you suck my sick and after 10 mins..." SMACK! She leaves lol.

Lessons learned:

  • 1 - I have to learn how to better gauge her emotional level to she if she's equipped to handle my raunchy jokes or scale it back by saying JK.

  • 2 - If getting smacked is one of the worst "rejections" that can happen, well it happened tonight, and I learned not only can I handle it but it also wasn't a big deal. Actually, it was pretty funny.

  • 3 - Most guys idea of rejections are not rejections at all. Their rejections are just them bitching out and ending the interaction too early for no reason other than some pseudo-pressure builds up in their own heads and they must escape. That is not a rejection - that's them throwing up the white flag. Now THIS was a fucking rejection and I laughed my ass afterwards because #1 I'm happy internally (I do my best to not let any outside negativity affect me negatively, instead I use it to fuel my happiness. This just added to my delight!) #2 I don't give a fuck.

Overall, fun night and one of the worst/best rejections I've ever had.
