Greetings brethren. I am a longtime lurker of here until today. I'm breaking the ice with this: I dumped my gf of one year to pursue the pickup life.

For 4 years I've soaked everything in from here, but I didn't start applying this valuable knowledge until recently (past 2-3 months). And it's completely changed my mind about dating and relationships.

To get the the real point, I have one piece of advice for you. Don't get into a relationship because you're desperate. That's the mistake I made a year ago, before I was confident in my pickup game. I took the first girl that allowed me to, and let her walk all over me for 8 months.

TAKE YOUR TIME AND HAVE FUN DATING DAMMIT. Too many guys like myself get sucked into long relationships with the first girl they can get, and don't leave them for fear of loneliness. Shit, some end up getting married for this fear.

Don't get me wrong, relationships are wonderful, but be selective in who you let into your life. You're the prize, and there's literally billions of women out there.

Thanks for everything seddit, I'm a different man because of you. Here I go into the world single and unrestricted.
