To add to this, what exactly do you guys do?

You make eye contact, move to face her, dance kind of her tempo or what? I'm generally a bad dancer and I don't know how to match the hip swaying girls do.

To add to that as well, how do you break into dance circles? I never see girls alone and if they are there alone, they get swarmed. I see them in groups of 2+ girls and maybe some guys too. I find a lot of times sections form on dance floors between larger groups and others who can't join get forced out.

Honest answer it's better if you don't. As a girl there are for me three types of dancing I might encounter.

1) Club Dancing: I can barely hear you and all I'm thinking about is whether my dancing is good or not, and how to avoid your awkward reactionary facial expressions mid dance. I'm bored and the music is bad.

2) Waltzing type dancing/formal dance with strangers. My hands are sweaty, you are moving really awkwardly, don't know what to say as we are both focusing on getting it right, or following each other's moves.

3) Slow dance. Sexy hands on intimate dancing, no pressure, just stepping around, moving closer, whispering intimately, kissing maybe, caressing. Very nice. But only with an already established SO/date. A stranger? MASSIVE NO.

So basically don't dance unless you know/have been accepted by the girl as a romantic interest, and only when the moment is romantic and intimate and confident.
