I just recently truly realised that the kiss and sex are just really small steps in the progression that we call kino escalation.

The second you meet a woman is when this progression starts, you can hug her and hold her hand for a couple of seconds and you are well on your way at step x, or you can say hi with no touch and you are still at step a... when you simply progress the escalation, you will eventually without having any ackward moments! find yourself in a sitatuation where kissing is such a small step that there is literally no ackwardness. Every time i feel ackward about kino, in backwards analysing i messed up a few steps back. so if you are sitting 3 feet apart from each other watching a movie and you are thinking about kissing her but it feels ackward.. yes it is ackward because you are contemplating jumping a lot of natural steps. I am definitely no pro, but it all makes so much sense to me now that i feel comfortable explaining it. after initial contact, you keep touching her, like when you make a joke you pinch her or briefly touch her arm, you bump in to her or lean on her etcetera. When you guys are moving, you guide her with a hand on her back. The touching will start to feel natural and i for example usually end up laying down somewhere or sitting and simply putting my leg over hers, some hand holding, briefly stroking the legs or hands etc and before you know it you are sort of caressing and cuddling/ lying together or standing really close in each others personal space without it feeling ackward anymore. Now if you skip most of these steps simply standing in each others personal space will feel ackward because there was no natural progression and going for the kiss will seem like a huge leap which at that moment it is. When you do progress you will be so touchy and close to each other that its just a case of waiting for her to look at you since your faces are already so damn close to each other, or you will feel comfortable enough to just grab her and kiss her and from there on sex is like already there you are already all over each other. For me some things like putting her hand on your leg, or putting your leg over hers or holding her hips used to seem like i described " like unrealistic giant leaps" that i didnt see myself do, that is like i said because i wanted to go there not from the previous step in the escalation, but from a lot of steps prior. If you are sitting next to each other and you want to put your legs on top of her lap yes it will be ackward, but if you are sitting leg to leg holding hands it is nothing. Hope i made some sense

I had/have this problem too. What i've realised is that you're not escalating.

Now you could just go for the kiss out of the blue and it may or may not work. Just going for the kiss will help you regardless so really you have nothing to loss. But if you want to help your chances then build the physicality in your interactions. Get the girls used to your touches before going for the kiss.

Sex is the same, get them used to following your request before asking them to come home with you.
