Pickup learning is based on the assumption you can be free to make mistakes, expecially if you are a beginner. Try it somewhere else, not at work. Cut yourself 1 h a day (come on you have it, when it's about girls we all have time ;) ) and go day/nightgaming by your own.

You'll see that when you'll be able to pickup everywhere, and you'll have the "abundance mindset", girls at work won't make any difference. In negative (you won't care anymore about them because you an have better with less social risk) or positive (you'll be able to bang them) ways.

[And forget that special girl you meet everyday at work, pickup techniques are about that one girl, those are valid only in wide statistic sense. ]
