Today was day three of my transformation and I have already had a major breakthrough. I was finishing up an assignment before class and this HB8 sat next to me to do the same. I noticed that she was taking a class that I plan on taking next semester. I leaned over and asked her how it's going so far. She was eager to tell me how easy it is. From there we started talking about the other classes we're in, what we're majoring in and what we are planning on doing after we graduate (we are both business majors).

I had to get to class so I said something like "I'd love to keep discussing this, you should give me your number so we can get together." She replied with a "ya for sure.

After I left the room my heart was pounding and I had a wide smile on my face. 30 minutes or so later I texted her "Hey (name), it's (sheldon) from the computer lab. It was really nice to meet you, thanks for the advice! haha."

She replied "Yes you too. No problem, its always nice to have a heads up. Have a good wknd." I didn't text back.

I plan on texting her tomorrow to asking her to go for a drink on monday since I work all weekend.

While I'm very happy with my progress, the whole thing felt a little "professional." If she ends up wanting to grab a drink, I really hope to loosen everything up.

Also, I wanted to keep my momentum going while I waited for the bus at the end of the day but was stricken with a sudden bought of aa and failed to talk to a couple really cute girls who were also waiting for a bus. This really bummed me out but I can't get too greedy right? I'm still a rookie and got one more number than I did yesterday!
