I've known this one girl for like 6 months now, but I usually only see her once a week at work. I really like her and feel like she likes me too. I asked her today if she wanted to go for a walk after work, but she said she didn't think she could. Normally, I would take this as a rejection, but the thing is, she's actually still in high school(I didn't know this when I first met her). For the record, I'm 21, and she's 18. Anyway, I know lots of people including some other college students that I'm friends with that have to get permission from their parents to do things. I'm wondering if that's what it was or maybe she just isn't interested. I'm thinking about just giving her my number the next time I see her and letting her make the next move if she actually is interested like I think she is. What do you guys think? Is this a lost cause?
