So my girlfriend of 1 year wants to try this fantasy where I approach her at the bar like we are strangers, I pick her up, and head back to my place. Basically until after the sex it’s like we are two strangers meeting at the bar and hooking up.

It may just be all in my head but I’d feel more comfortable approaching a total stranger at the bar than my gf of a year pretending she is. It’ll feel weird basically assuming things and asking questions like I would in a pickup when I know these things about her. And just overall awkwardness too.

Anybody with long term relationships experience have any advice?
