I feel like I've gotten much stronger at approaching but I'm having problems in that the initial pick up conversations aren't really going anywhere. They get to standard small talk pretty quick and it all fizzles out.

Does anybody have any tips/advice/ideas/links for how to make better conversation AND lead the conversation more towards a D2 and/or seduction? How do I communicate interest in the conversation without coming across as needy?
