but the post you're using as an example of what you personally agree with--in this case being that "looks don't matter"--is deleted. I can't read whatever post you're citing as the reason for why "the assumption of the over-importance of physical form over and above internal qualities" is a bad assumption to have. I don't really understand what you're trying to say here. You're trying to justify the existence of your rule when I'm not disputing the validity of the rule at all. I want to know why…

rolling back technology would bring back monogamy simply by removing our massive hierarchical structure and laws that enforce and enshrine the female prerogative. right now the 80/20 rule exists because 80% of guys have no way to get any sort of monogamous relationship (women won't consent.) if we roll back technology and by extension our legal system it would be rather easy for a significant portion of that 80% to just resort to violence to enforce monogamy. regardless of how many action movies…

It's about the age of the cultural references he's making. OP says Frank Sinatra is somehow an alpha while Drake is not, despite both of them essentially crooning love songs to a young female audience. You also didn't read the part of the comment where I explained that OP was cherry-picking examples of celebrities he perceives as beta, ignoring the vast amount of alpha male celebrities that appeal to a younger audience. Look at Dwayne Johnson, he's idolized by quite a lot of people for being an …

stealth shitposting I see how you've really just made Alphas old people and "Betas" young people so you'd presuppose who's more attractive. "Gee, why don't any of the women today like celebrities from my generation?" It's because of groupthink you dumbfuck and young women all agree that the men you mentioned (you even think they've heard of Frank Sinatra?) are "not cool" anymore. http://www.imdb.com/list/ls000763556/ Here's a random list of people I got when I googled "male celebrities". "We had to re-arrange the definitions to their beliefs" You literally just had to explain what moral system "I believe in caring about everyone, and I hope they care about me.” corresponds to. It corresponds to the idea of moral reciprocity. The course didn't brainwash you or tell you to believe the idea is true or should be followed, they just told you to study it as a type of ethical system in the world today and now you're complaining. There's plenty of bluepill bullshit in academia today and…

You're comparing the population of alphas whom are here to betas in general. Sure, alphas are the elite of a society, which is why TRP runs on an elitist stance where only alphas are allowed in. Even so, just because we might currently run on a relatively elitist stance, doesn't mean that's the stance that should exist in every possible situation. It's might as well just be a reaction to the current state of the world that everyone is stratified into the plebes of betas and the patrician alphas.…

Except it's a lot more nuanced than the right-left divide? Sexual strategy doesnt have to be capitalistic "best man gets harem of women" ideas. The co-alpha ideal that's so often espoused here of every man getting one (1) non slutty wife, effectively more or less equitably distributing the mating pool amongst most men is effectively egalitarianism. Sexual strategy might be capitalistic now, but that doesn't mean it can't be (or shouldn't be) egalitarian in the future. As has been so adequately s…

that's because mental "syndromes" are effectively just collections of symptoms that manifest as a pattern. it's not the diagnosis that causes the problems, it's the problems that create a diagnosis. syndromes are basically just neat labels you can put on people that have things in common. Of course you can classify the whole world according to things in the DSM, it's meant for that. Nobody is perfectly mentally healthy and everyone has character flaws that represent major mental problems. Some p…

It's pretty simple. Once you act as a parent, either being so biologically, or by being a beta cuck and supporting a kid, you are that kid's parent if the kid ends up viewing so. Don't be a father figure to any kid if you don't want to be his parent. Tough world but that's how it works.

Yep. But the fact that it's measurable doesn't mean that it isn't subjective. "Leadership skills" and "alphaness" are subjective assessments. And so are the number of relationships you're in, years happily married, etc. Thousands of subjective answers don't form anything objective except for an objective assessment of what the general average of subjective opinions are. Sure, we know here that most women like Chad. This is an objective fact that these women have subjective opinions on Chad. What…

Subjectivity and the whole idea of a lack of a non objective reality gets a lot of hate around here due to its association with feminism and the social justice movement as a whole. Your whole post about "objectivity" isn't really objective at all, as much as a second layer of subjectivity. Every single goal embodied in this subreddit is a subjective one. They're decided by the people here, deciding what they want to do, and deciding they want to be an alpha chad instead of being a beta cuck. The…

No, they have legitimate business reasons for it. They also don't have to disclose the reasons eiher, and it is very opaque who gets in. They can just say "oh, you don't fit the bill". He's not legally a sperm donor. To the law, he just had sex with someone in a lesbian relationship and got her pregnant. You're not legally allowed to sign away child support rights unless you're in specific situations, as the money is considered "for the child", and the child didn't consent. If he went to a sperm bank and donated he'd be legally covered.

THEY STONE PEOPLE TO DEATH OVER THERE! They have Sharia law! I'm not going to say only conscripting men isn't a bad thing, but if you leave Islam over there you get sentenced to death. There are worse things in the UAE then conscripting only men, such as a lack of freedom of religion, speech, cruel and unusual punishment.

Models aren't supposed to be attractive, they're supposed to be "the best" of their gender. For women, that meant godlike standards of aesthetics, until the fat acceptance movement started redefining "the best" as fat. For men, "the best" still consists of godlike aesthetics. No fat acceptance for men.

You can't automatically state "sexism" and expect that to mean anything. There are biological differences between the genders, you can't ignore that. The problem with the Duluth Model is it assumes men are always abusers, when that is not always the case.

The Duluth model is all derived from Patriarchy theory, which asserts that "men have privilege, women do not" (privilege = systematic power in this case). That's what is wrong with it. Then it asserts that, since men have all the power in society, only they can abuse women, as women do not have any power to abuse men. What the Duluth Model then does, in its worldview, is takes the "male privilege" which supposedly exists, increases female privilege and decreases the male privilege to compensate.…

If you want to analyse and create theories about human sexual relations you should make your own sub. TRP is about pragmatically living a "red-pill" lifestyle. You will not find "theories and facts", those are a sideshow to their goal of teaching people to lift weights, look attractive, fuck bitches. You want to analyse theories and facts, start doing science. Do a study where you get men with lower percentages of body fat vs higher percentages of body fat, and have them approach women in a bar …

Do random stuff and see how they react. If you fake a stumble, see if they notice/care. You can give them tasks to do, see how they do it, and the care they place into it. Of course, if you are paranoid, you can do things like rigging an object to break if touched, have the person touch it without you present, and see if they tell you, but that is going too far imho. because according to patriarchy theory, men have all the privilege in society. when you are a man, you have a privilege that women do not have. Since your privilege is higher than the woman's privilege, the woman is naturally oppressed by you. Paycheck fairness act actually sounds pretty good for MRAs. No pay discrimination on sex except for actual job related reasons. That means no affirmative action. If you look at the stats, women get paid more for the same work. This act should hopefully put an end to some of that. Men actually only get paid more because of job related reasons like experience and what not. So this bill would not affect that at all. Blessing in disguise?

Anyways, at 1:15, you can see obvious reactions of happiness. Again at 1:57. And 2:08. It's almost as if there are differences in enthusiasm between the genders! You're fixati…

IANAL, but I think the best idea would be to create a non-profit and give an endowment of a large amount of money. Then give it a charter that gives you power to manage (power goes to a board after you're dead) and the non-profit to. Get some people in to make it self-sustaining by using some of the money for investments and what not, so that it'll last long after you're dead. Get a lawyer if you're serious about this.

When people say a mentally ill person doesn't make sense, they're lying. They just don't understand their logic. The logic might be bat-shit insane, convoluted, and non-understandable to anyone other than the person who came up with it, but it's there. You just need to manipulate the logic to speak to the person. Every logically based theory has to be self-consistent, which is why, whenever there is a contradiction discovered, people will often patch up their theory to resolve the contradiction.…

naw you see giving all kids to the women is basically disregarding the fact that women can have jobs... basically if you say that we should give primary custody to the woman, always, that is a symptom of the patriarchy that says that women are automatically childcarers. its misogynist to assume that women should always take care of the child. are you misogynist? you have internalized misogyny that states you must be a childbearer if you support primary custody going to the woman.

Tl;dr: Basically the Model Penal Code is made by a bunch of legal experts and state governments often use it as guidance. What some people are trying to do is add in language to the Model Penal Code that, if you don't get explicit permission before every single sexual act you commit with someone, you are guilty of sexual assault, and if you are charged with sexual assault, you have to prove you got consent.

OK. The problem with your post, isn't that it's right, it's that it's a wall of text. It didn't convey your point effectively. You lectured about the men's rights movement, yet nobody cares about the lecture. They're scrolling through posts, they see funny post about MRAs, and some guy leaves 200 words of prose about this. They'll skim the first line, and won't read anything else. You could've basically refuted the entire article by saying: http://www.returnofkings.com/7877/the-mens-rights-movem…

So? This is a transsexual person. I haven't seen in this post any mention of "feminism". Just because someone has made previously false claims doesn't mean the claims are false. Stalin loved sending people to the gulag and killing them. Stalin also implemented equality for women, actually putting them into the armed forces in combat roles. OK, lemme just say something. The life expectancy was young before modern times, because of high infant mortality. If you survived to 20, you'd be very likely to survive to 70 before dying of natural causes. But a child would often die soon after birth.

It's not legally rape in most of America. A man cannot usually be legally raped in the US, as rape must legally involve the rapist penetrating another person. However, according to the uniform code of military justice, rape is "contact between the penis and the vulva or anus or mouth, and for purposes of this subparagraph contact involving the penis occurs upon penetration, however slight." I am not a lawyer, but I think this means that "made to penetrate" is rape. But, this would arguably still…

Your basing of your moral superiority argument off of fantasy examples just means that your entire position of the MRM being morally right is subjective. I can make up any scenario I want to, and no fantasy scenario is objectively more "real" than the other. When you get into realism as a matter of judgement, you are now stating that realism is a matter of subjectivity. Therefore, you can now pick and choose whatever scenarios fit your subjective beliefs of what is "realistic" or not. Assuming t…

Second of all, your scenarios are not equivalent. In scenario one, we have very likely evidence that the son was falsely accused. Well, the reason is that they have a ton of airstrikes and arms from the US. Imagine you're a tiny, 100 pound guy who's 5" 6', going up against a giant bodybuilder with over 200 pounds and has a knife. Who do you think wins? Now, somebody gives the tiny guy a pistol. Who wins now?

This is like when people post links to radfems who'd like to murder 90% of men and enslave the rest. Except, for this, people fucking oppose it. Read this nondiscrimation resolution, passed by the WMF itself. This grant won't pass, because the people who'll give the money to the grant, the WMF, quite literally passed a resolution banning discriminating against users. Also, even if this did happen, which is an insanely slim chance, they wouldn't be able to do anything. Wikipedia policy states tha…

I will defend to the death the right of every neo-nazi to call me a kike and to say that they want to gas me and I don't deserve to live, because if you aren't allowed to say whatever you want, then where does it end? Can I not disagree with the ruling party in power because my speech is hateful towards the memory of Adolf Hitler? Am I not mature enough to deal with the fact, that in life, some people are going to hate me? I think I am mature enough. As for the fact that international law as quo…

If they only hire white people, and you don't like it, you don't have to go there. There's nothing forcing you to go there. And if everyone is hiring white people, black people are in less demand, and are cheaper, so restaurants will hire black people, assuming that all black people are equal to white people in all ways other than skin colour.

In my opinion the restaurant can hire whoever they want. Women are more attractive than men, and can often bring in more money in tips and/or make people buy more expensive stuff. This same logic is what allows fire departments and police departments to hire, essentially, 99% men, because most women are too weak to live up to the stressful physical demands of a fire department or police department. Also, the military is also able to be all-male, due to the sexual tension when you put men and wom…

What do you define by attractiveness? It is much better to measure yourself by SMV. Attractiveness is one part of SMV. If you are an ugly guy with no redeeming values, no women is going to give a shit about you. If you were an ugly guy with an 8 figure bank balance... I don't think they would care about your ugliness inasmuch as your shiny Porsche.

Of course that is true. More men are dumb. More men are smart. Women are usually in the middle.

My opinion is, if he hasn't filed a report, it never happened (as in, not just the rape, but the accusations), if there hasn't been charges pressed, very strong benefit of the doubt for the alleged rapist. If the court case is in progress, I am neutral. If it is not guilty, I'll treat the accused as anyone else, even if I believed the accused committed a rape. If the complaint was, beyond a reasonable doubt, filed frivolously, I believe that there was no rape, but also that the complement lied.

We don't know what he's referring to. It could be demeaning male rape victims in general, or it could be based on his opinion that LaBeouf is making this up because he's a shitty person.

Shia LaBeouf was allegedly raped, and the rape in question has not been proven. It is unlikely it ever will be, and we will probably never know if he is lying. If you believe him without any supporting evidence, you're no better than the feminists who claim that whenever a woman cries rape, we should automatically ruin the man's life.

Wikipedia defines communism as Communism is most associated with Marxism, which considers itself the embodiment of scientific socialism. According to Marxism, capitalism is a historically necessary stage of society, which has led to the concentration of social classes into two major groups: proletariat - who must work to survive, and who make up a majority of society - and bourgeoisie - a minority who derive profit from employing the proletariat, through private ownership of the means of product…

An actually good article. Feminism articulating their points in clear ways is fine to me. This guy did not use logical fallacies, did not rely on discredited stuff, but backed his position up with facts.
