Your blue pill is showing because you instantly went to defending women when we're not even having that conversation.

BP is arguably not pragmatic if you look at the divorce rates (both overall rate and % of women initiating divorce)

Some women deliberately do this: "Hey, lets sell your car and then trade mine in for this nicer one we'll have no problem sharing xd" "We can manage with only one set of keys! I'm always here when you get home from work (except this one time where I'm going to lock you out deliberately)."

It could be true (or partially true), and if it is: she left out the part where locking him out of the house and fucking off was a very calculated move.

If both people are relatively capable of an attraction based relationship, absolutely. I would settle down with the right woman, but meeting her seems to be getting harder - the ones that seem quite into me and also fit my bill are generally taken (often married) or off limits, and I'm not Mr. Stealyourgirl or Shitswhereieat

No. Red pill isn't a label for guys that want to spin plates and do dark other triad shit like dread game or psychotic manipulation, so please find another one. It is just a belief system that is maybe a bit more critical and pragmatic than maybe you'd like about attraction and long-term success of relationships in the current dating landscape.

Every article about guys just quiet quitting being productive members of society goes like this: Men are dropping out because they aren't going to college and women are doing so much better than them in almost all aspects of socioeconomics... But, women are most affected by this.

Meh. Today they're calling it "incel-coded nonsense and misogyny", but in 10-20 years it will be scientifically supported in journals and textbooks relating to psychology, sexuality/reproduction, etc. The thing is, you or I won't be there in person to say "I told you so," ... so why care about it? I've personally been spending a lot of time away from here, but it's just such a captivating, toxic dumpster-fire that it's hard not to check in once or twice a week to see what the scoop is.

Most guys who have dated crazy women will tell you they seemed normal upfront, but there's also some degree of ignoring red flags because of lust-goggles. It's just like how women will tell you the abusive asshole was nice at first, when everybody knows the majority of the time there were some blatant red flags being ignored. With more experience, it becomes easier (+faster) to pick up on and not ignore red flags

Humans are animals. It's actually amazing how many people will disagree with this because they don't like the point you're making and it's their only way of attempting to negate it or pivot the argument. It's kind of akin to "I can't seem to find any holes in your argument, so I'll just make one"

Calculus is a great example. Thanks. You think they'd give upper level math and early calculus to a fresh grad? Like, I couldn't see a teacher being ready to even teach or deal with grade 12 students without years of teaching and maybe a double degree if they were doing calc or sciences.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/25 08:51 PM

Many? Come on now. They aren't giving high-school senior teacher positions out to younger teachers and fresh grads. They probably don't even consider someone qualified for teaching grade 12 students until they have at least a decade of experience.

His example is pretty much non-existent, or extreme hyperbole in the very odd case that there is a 22 year old teaching high school seniors.. When I was in high school, the youngest teacher I had in my senior year was like 50.

That's literally what most women want. It's in innate tug of war where you're constantly trying to bitch a guy up. If you're doing nice things for your husband and the relationship is good, why do you need to be here?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/25 07:16 PM

Hockey, especially if you live close to a decent team to see live, is completely different from Love Island and The Bachelor. I agree that couples can find things to watch together where there is a balance. For watching hockey, your husband probably watches the odd romcom he's not overly into to make you happy - right? I see various couples where the guy puts some effort into appeasing the woman, and the woman makes zero effort to understand the sport or w/e piece of media the guy wants to watch…

I get the pain you might be suffering, but I also get that men in many ways are encouraged to do this. There's very confusing messaging with it comes to how to pursue relationships. Lots of people will say to men "be her friend first," when they should be saying strike while the iron is hot when you meet a girl that likes you through friends. There's a reason show intent is such a popular piece of male dating advice... because a lot of guys get burned by believing that you should to befriend a w…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 03:12 AM

It's not that dating is hard. It's that it's hilariously unpredictable, and a lot of guys see the "best option" as saving sunk costs by trying to salvage a relationship that is dying due to loss of mutual attraction on the woman's part. That's pretty much at the heart of all of these "my BF went redpill" stories - a guy trying to reignite the flame but getting a bit too carried away by becoming something she didn't sign up for. She was with him because he was BB, and him trying to be AF was the …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 02:52 AM

So you mostly agree? Then let's go a bit further, shall we? Are you suggesting that excuses women who take advantage of such a situation?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 02:50 AM

a relationship is not a reward for good behavior Would it shock you if I told you boys and young men are essentially programmed to believe exactly the opposite? Save the damsel? Make her a queen??? Hello? And the kicker is that women will sometimes take advantage of men they know are crushing and hopeful - AKA Simps and orbiters
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 02:17 AM

It's not even broken women that do this. That's such a tired assumption that you really can't prove any better than I could prove my side. It's not a hypermajority of women dating assholes either, but a sizeable enough amount of women in their 20s (AKA prime) will have really intense relationships witih these men. My best guess is it's 50:50 for women getting ruined by chad vs women who avoid the chad hedonism trap. The outlier is people who find a highschool sweetheart and shack up eventually. …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 02:08 AM

My experience is always that the women that show a lot of interest and are my type are... get ready for it... *drumroll* ... ALWAYS spoken for. It's always a damn tease or test with women, even the great ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 01:57 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 01:49 AM

And a lot of women have it in them instinctually to try to tame a wild guy. Not sure if you were trying to go for the "it's only damaged women who do this" angle, because it's most certainly not. It's part of that motherly nurturing thing. She nurtures a beast into a dad, and then mostly focuses those nurturing skills on the offspring. It's innate. Even if a woman doesn't have children, she still has a nurturing instinct she directs somewhere. AWALT
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/25 01:38 AM

Simply put, a guy that has some roughness around the edges. It's sort of a blanket term for a guy who is exciting because of the fact that he doesn't follow the rules (social, or rules of law). Criminals are good examples, but not the definition. When they're attractive, heinous criminals certainly don't struggle for attention from women; even behind bars
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 11:04 PM

If you ask me, guys do that when they feel their woman has lost respect or attraction but won't just leave. They get redpilled to try to save their relationship that has already soured, and make things worse in the process because the woman initially got with him because he was a bit softer.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/25 10:54 PM

So why do so many women choose trying to tame a rudeboy over dating pleasant mannered guys who follow the rules? The only thing "pleasant" about the bad boy is the chaos (excitement and dysfunction) and taboo in the case that he's a serious dirtbag, and those seem to be polar opposites of what you might define as pleasant.

I think it's funny to picture it as if the woman was actually asking him out, but quickly saved face by adding friends when married came up. Plausible deniability. She wouldn't ask a guy at work to the restaurant on the weekend if she didn't really like him or see something. OP played it well: don't get mixed up with a gal at the office, especially when you're married. My question to OP is why are you not making friends or keeping old friendships? Did you throw a lot away to be with your wife?

It just means he'll have more capital to invest outside of the companies. Hopefully he doesn't buy a multi-billion dollar bond villain superyacht with nukes. Seriously though, why not cash out some stock while the market is starting to turn over a bit diversify into other ventures? The guy will probably try to get ahead of the next big thing, and that will take hundreds of billions of his own personal dollars. He tends to plan grand ventures. Don't get me wrong, I'm not necessarily a Musk fanboy…

Bingo. It's the confusion of "why does everything I've been told about women not align with my actual experiences with them" that causes a guy to seek out dating advice, and that's where they will find the red or black pill. The outlier is the stat. People understand that high-calibre women can outgrow men and fall out of love and attraction, so they are more lenient on them when they cheat. It's an example that plays into my hypothesis of how I think cheating is way more normalized for women through media tropes and the like, and way more demonized for men through those same means. Titanic? Come on now... Shows that do it proper are things like Mad Men, that show that affairs are very bad both ways.

If you're able to talk to 5 women at once, then it's probably looks doing the heavy lifting. The two might have ghosted because you weren't sexually forward enough like the other chads they're fucking from OLD, and they just aren't ready for a nice boy yet. A good personality would probably warrant at least one of the women just wanting to be friends, because you're "husband material" and she doesn't want to seem like a slut.

You made a lot of good points, and I agree with you for the most part... A guy can elevate himself in ways to significantly improve his attractiveness and confidence. I agree. A woman eventually needs a guy who will be there for the family in the long-run, and that's often a docile, pre-tamed kind of guy without lots of options.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 01:33 AM
3

Explain, because I think I've said it's pretty clear where that there's an inversion going on. I wouldn't call some docile woman I can easily manipulate "wifey material," but it seems like that is the most common context when we're talking husband material - you know, the guy who firmly believes "happy wife, happy life"
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 01:28 AM

I think it's highly context dependent. In most contexts, wifey material is a great compliment - it's a woman that a man wants to be the mother of his kids. Husband material, in most contexts that I've seen it get used, is a backhanded compliment to a docile guy who will let a woman have her way and fund her lifestyle while doing it. That guy who's rocking her socks off and making bank gets called by other, more sexually flattering names.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 01:23 AM

Have you ever noticed how much hollywood and such has portrayed this idea of meeting a woman in a place like a psych ward? I'd have to dig, but the one that jumps to mind is a newer blink 182 song with this psych ward love story music video. Was the guy perhaps mentally ill and maybe just thought he'd meet a nice girl while getting better? like in the movies? And, can you base your perception of men on this extreme outlier? Furthermore, how many hundreds or thousands of men have crossed your pat…

But I don't see what you're suggesting working... your take is guys should increase their standards, therefore face even more rejection than they already do... That makes no sense, unless women were to lower their standards simultaneously to balance out so that men are being rejected the same amount as they were before. What makes sense from your statement is that chad needs to stop giving mids situationships so those women will date within their league, and I'm with you there.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 10:20 PM

TL;dr: women should at the very least stop treating male struggles as if they are a joke.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 08:39 PM

It would also be good for men to raise their standards, as opposed to women lowering them. I don't possibly get how this could improve the situation, unless of course you are suggesting that sex-addict chad stop giving false hope to women who are easy lays; then I agree with you.

Is it foolish of me to expect her to at least name a celebrity that somewhat fits her "type," rather than her mind instantly going to Thor? She says one thing she thinks people want to hear (lanky nerds), but the reality (observable action) is her mind instantly goes to the jacked macho-man who plays a literal god on the silver-screen.

Men have always cheated, have always become unattracted to their wives due to familiarity I don't think that's a correct notion. The CEO doesn't cheat on his wife because she is familiar. Why would I waste my time with a woman who probably had casual sex with another man but pretends that she's incapable of having sex with me on the first or second night? Why would I want a woman who makes me work for sex instead of one who wants sex just as much as I do because she's attracted to me? Because if she's under 25 and and in any way sexually reserved (and undamaged), she's probably not going to have sex with you right away unless you trample every boundary she has.

Obviously a man can be attracted long term to a woman if they meet at 18 and get married. You don't have your youth at 36, but you can still be really hot to him and be attractive for your age. But, an ugly 18 year old is hotter than an okay looking 36 year old. Meeting at 18 and getting married is kind of a minority group these days, and those seem to be the happiest couples I've known. In that group, there are two guys that are virtually the same - interesting and well-paying careers, great personalities, cool interests, attractive, etc... Basically, they check all the boxes. The only visible difference is that one of the guys has a head that is proportionally too small compared to his body, and the other's head is too big. Which one would you choose, and why?

Enjoying travel and taking one travel vacation a year to experience/explore a new part of the world is one thing, but what a lot of these women who "love travel" do is take a bunch of mini vacations to travel to resorts they've already been to several times - which isn't loving travel, really... it's a love of luxurious vacations. Pay attention to your social media feeds, and you'll see this is the case with most women who claim to love travel. That's the red flag.

Everything I've seen about men falling behind has this implication (or sometimes a very explicit message) of how it affects women, but this is usually after blowing smoke up women's asses with how much they're killing it for half the article. 1/2 of the article talks about women slaying 1/4 of the article talks about men falling behind 1/4 of the article talks about why men falling behind is bad for women

Most women are succeeding in their own lives and that’s why more single women own their homes by themselves than men do, have more college degrees than men do, and they aren’t exactly putting any of that stuff on the news. What news are you watching/reading? I see articles about how women are killing it (socioeconomically) from various sources literally every day.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/25 10:21 PM

Women find a good men and then ask "Why does he have no bitches?" Long story short, women don't really want a good man - they want a man who forces them to compete against other candidates to be in his harem.

You're kind of suggesting that men should go back to being blue-pilled and let emotions and short-sightedness dominate the mating process - which is what the red pill came out of in the first place. Treating dating as if it is a "just world" scenario will generally leave you hurt and jaded, unless you managed to find a high-school/college sweetheart - aka you found a partner before red pill knowledge became highly relevant.

The more partners a man has the more likely he is to engage in sexual assault and rape. For as much as I'd love to agree with this, it sounds a bit farfetched. You're definitely right that women flock towards dangerous men, because we see all of the gentle, non-violent men basically getting scraps.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 11:08 PM

When they leave the non-violent men alone to chase the violent ones, are they getting what they deserve? That is the question.

When the topic of hookup vs husband comes up, many women here will admit they would prefer a husband-material guy starts as a hookup. That is to say you need to be both hookup and husband material as a man, or else you're going to marry a woman who pretends to be smitten so she can get the ring and marriage benefits.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 09:06 PM

You're half right. Men want women to settle for them, but they also wish this wasn't the harsh reality of modern "have your fun first" dating. A man wants to be the woman's first choice, or else he clearly lacks self-respect.

This right here. Most guys get red pilled before they even know what it is. They then seek out anecdotes on the internet that relate their experience (which is an experience that generally goes against what society says about women and attraction), and this is generally the point where someone might stumble upon, and find out about, the red pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 06:34 PM
16

They aren't attracted ot these traits. They can find these things appealing for a long-term relationship, but a guy who is kind, supportive, respectful of boundaries, and/or reliable isn't more attractive because of those things. If she's not attracted, she will eventually find reasons to resent you for things she claimed were "attractive" but were really just appealing qualities in a person she isn't attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 06:29 PM
33

Because women like to say (lie) that guys can make up for shortcomings in attractiveness with characteristics that are appealing but not attractive - eg. intelligence, work ethic, etc. If she's not attracted to you, it doesn't matter how smart, rich, or successful you are - she doesn't find you attractive, and the relationship won't have a "spark."

/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/25 04:27 PM

Because women want to win over the guy who only wants to hookup. Something about taming the beast. There's also the aspect of competing against other women to win over a guy who's seeing lots of women. Husband vs hookup threads often reveal that women would prefer that a husband starts as a hookup.

Reeves is just a talking head that says the right things such that the media gives him airtime. I have his book, I've read it... it's all performative nonsense. He really offers no solutions that wouldn't further hinder the progress of boys and young men, and he thinks women shouldn't have to give up any of their privileges so men can be equals. Remember when the push to end women's oppression was a zero-sum game where men had to lose so women could gain? Now that men are behind because they hav…

It has also been said that they would prefer that husband-guy starts as a hookup. Basically women want to overcome the fuck-zone, so if she isn't okay being fuckzoned initially then she won't be a ride or die wife.

Your solipsism is showing... You're confusing what makes a woman traditional with what makes a man traditional. In the past, men could have concubines and mistresses; possibly even see prostitutes. Most of the traditional men I've known have been downright pussyhounds. What made them traditional was how they continued to show up for their families and communities.

Just wait for the 7 year itch and most of those women will be on to second marriages. I'm not necessarily claiming marrying a virgin/low bodycount woman would save a guy from this, but women who have enjoyed a lot of variety are going to be way more at risk of getting bored and thinking the grass is greener.

He did make a point and you're trying to dance around it. True crime shows have a 4-5:1 female-to-male audience, and the entire point of these shows is to go into graphic details about murders and deeply analyzing the killer's life and motives. Murder and the killer is the entire focus of the show The Sopranos, an example you threw out there, is a story of redemption that just happens to be about a mobster trying to fix a tainted soul - crime is a plot element, not the entire focus.

Oftentimes, the weakest most useless of males will expect women to have more compassion for their injuries than they expect other men to have for them. Because it's women constantly harping on about how they wish men would open up and show some vulnerability, not men. There's a very real argument to be made that women have been conditioned out of wanting to do that for a man, so many don't even really try it. One of my biggest takeaways from the red pill is that women subconsciously test men. Fail the tests, and attraction and respect are lost. Because of the subconscious nature of how attraction works, I would rather not go back to being unaware of the pitfalls - because said pitfalls are exactly how marriages end up being dead bedroom situations, or why divorce papers get served with no mercy seemingly out of the blue. I get the idea of parents wanting to show off their kids sport "achievements" and lessening the blow of losing as a kid, but come on. Healthy competition as kids to show there are winners and losers (and winning depends on how hard you try and how good you get) and winners get trophies is the healthiest way to develop strong mindsets in these kids when they're young. Participation trophies are subtle reinforcement that having fun and being mediocre still gets the trophy. People should walk away …

Save men from themselves? Try "saving them from warmongering politicians" who have full authority to throw millions of young men into the meatgrinder. "Consider therapy" is such an infuriating response. It suggests that a mans problems are beyond his own control, and that he has to rely on professional help; which is the antithesis of what society expects of men - to be self-sufficient and able to take care of his own problems in addition to the problems of others (notably women) in his life.

Also, it has reached a point of business. "Since all these men are after me, imma take the best deal." The only thing that men can do is have zero sympathy and not be the backup plan when these women waste all their "chips" going for men who likely won't commit due to the vast amount of options they can enjoy.

Getting funding to do research and statistical analysis relies on going with the narrative - which is to avoid anything that might open up criticism of women. Science is heavily gatekept because people avoid controversial research and focus on "acceptable" areas of research, as their livelihood literally depends on it. I'm just absolutely sickened by the way men treat women. I was this way until I realized that women will reject men that would treat them good in favor of men that treat them poorly.

I wouldn't say it's fear. More of a thing of benefitting from the pool of provider (beta) men being confused, misled, or otherwise in dark about the realities of female mating strategies and attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 03:17 PM

The background certainly doesn't do anything to make that any less creepy
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 03:26 AM

You're half right. If that pleasure is "getting your way on something big or expensive because you drained his balls," then that's correct; and you can't lie to us and say you would never use sex for leverage.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 03:21 AM
1

You're looking at "reward" in way too literal of a sense, instead of looking at in in the context of interpersonal dynamics. Women themselves will use sex as a reward for men if the men are successfully conditioned by sex to do an unequal share of work in the relationship. If a guy can be exploited through his balls, women can and will.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 03:18 AM

It's incredible how successfully feminism and women have managed to gaslight basically all of men into believing what women say about themselves rather than trusting what men directly see themselves. based and redpilled
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 02:34 AM

open a [social media] and start making [hyper-progressive] takes for 21 year old liberal arts students Man this rings too true for some women that I have really seen fall from grace. Really sad stuff.

Doesn’t matter you’re having sex and have great dates, talk and establish you’re in a committed relationship Except the primary thing about a relationship is that it's a mutually agreed upon thing. I can be friendly towards you, but that doesn't mean we're friends.

Women compete by trying to make their opponents doubt themselves and give up before the competition has even begun.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 05:51 PM
2

Nah. Women heavily base their self-perception on the perception of the group. Rejection can hurt and make a woman feel like the she isn't favored by the group, and men are the ones that are expected to be the approachers; so women don't really need to take the risk of having their egos damaged because of a feeling of being rejected by the man AND the group.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 05:21 PM
10

I always pay for myself, so that the man does not feel entitled to me. I find this is a mindset you often see in women - that giving should always mean receiving... AKA prejudging the guy is only buying you dinner because he expects to be paid back with sex. Do some guys do that? Yes. Do some guys want to be altruistic and expect nothing for their altruism? Also yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 05:14 PM
7

Not wanting to approach says nothing about a woman's social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 02:57 PM

The phenomenon where an attractive woman will basically spend zero time single (aka always has a new relationship opportunity when previous relationship ends) suggests to me that women do very much enjoy the benefits that men bring to their lives.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 02:52 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 11:06 PM

Whoever wants something more should work harder for it. This is terrible advice towards men because it truly seems like no woman would prefer a guy who is putting in vastly more effort than her. In fact, women often reflexively put in lots of effort for guys they like who put in very little - the crux of situationships. Is that to say guys shouldn't put in the work or make an effort? No. But understand that at most one should roughly match the other person's effort/energy
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 10:59 PM

Your take is that guys reach some level of higher thinking when they get a girlfriend, and so they willingly abandon the redpill. My take is pretty much the exact opposite - a good blowjob clouds judgement, so guys let their guard down.

You're attributing this terribly sociopathic way of viewing people and the social contract with the red pill, and I would say that's entirely incorrect. The red pill might acknowledge some of these exploits that manipulators will abuse, but it doesn't endorse or condone their use because it's not prescriptive. It's just a way of viewing human nature that removes the fuzz of dated belief systems from bygone times where people prioritized families and married young.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 09:09 PM

On the contrary: most guys are one blowjob away from being bluepilled. Keep a guys balls empty and his belly full and he'll move mountains for you. Pussy-power is strong shit

One of the interesting things I take from the red pill is that the people giving bad dating advice are just giving advice that was actually good, but about 30 or more years ago. The rules have changed, and you're basically halfway to being red pilled if you can admit this.

I used to support paper abortions, then I came around to how guys probably just shouldn't have sex with women they don't see a future and children with. Hookup culture has been a cancer, and some fools deserve to be babytrapped.

To play devil's advocate here, if a guy doesn't want to be a father: he can always avoid sex. Sperm is cheap, but you also need to be careful with it... potent stuff!
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 07:45 PM

If he was supposed to be a friend, he would have turned the girls advances down or not gone after her in the first place. Ultimately, this is dodging two bullets - getting rid of a fake friend and a cheating-prone woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 07:38 PM

Not necessarily. You might really like the person and enjoy the sex, then realize they're a total basketcase who is completely unfixable.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 07:34 PM

There's definitely this "girl-power" of women going for guys they want in recent decades, but I don't think anyone can really say if women see a man as less if he isn't the one to "go after what he wants" - so to say. I really can't see any man NOT losing a point in a woman's eyes if he's passive and can't be the one to break the ice and go for what he wants, and a guy will lose a lot of opportunities if he waits for women to come to him. What I tend to see is that women will make themselves hig…

Several women I wasn't attracted to have complimented me and I still occasionally think back on it. 100% this. Nothing conveys a guy is only in a group for the women like hitting on several. Safest to only proceed with asking a person out once every so often if there is no doubt that both people are interested.

The problem is most women stop being freaks when commitment becomes more valued. Once someone has bagged the mclaren, it keeps getting passed around because nobody wants to be the owner when the engine needs a rebuild.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 07:31 PM

Hasn't been bagged is more what I'm suggesting. Three previous owners is fine. That's the average.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 07:16 PM

If it's purpose is serving people on some short term basis like an exotic sportscar (hyperbole), perhaps. But it begs the question: why does nobody want it on a longer term basis?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 07:10 PM
0

You don't get sentimental towards each car you own? Sociopath behavior And before you take me literally and think I'm saying women and cars are the same, can you not play along with the analogy for even just a second?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 07:02 PM
5

Nonsense, and you know it. The average car has 3-4 owners these days. If it has had 10, it means that nobody wants it long term - usually a sign something is wrong. You 100% would think twice about buying a car that had 10 different owners - unless it was some prized show-car and you were a man having a midlife crisis, but that's the outlier.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 07:00 PM
5

Would you buy a car driven by 10 previous owners?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 06:39 PM

Thanks. I'm really not as closed minded as you might think, but I need more than "I give him blowjobs and he does my taxes" to really explain how you prefer, or even find it attractive, that your man doesn't work while you do. To give you some credit, with more to the story ( he's retired, so he probably has a decent pension or retirement income/savings); so that likely affords you guys a lifestyle to where
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 06:23 PM

Hoeflation: increase in women with very high body counts. Not based in reality. Young women are having less casual sex, not more, than in previous decades. The data is clear on that. That's not hoeflation. Hoeflation is where woman demand more from men while actually offering less than women of previous generations.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 05:21 PM

Hoeflation - men today have to work harder than their grandfathers for women that are worse than their grandmothers
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 05:19 PM

So we should just agree to disagree, then... because nothing you can say will convince me a woman gets hot for a guy who stays home full time to care for the children while she has to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 05:17 PM
1

You mean, most of the cooks who focus on getting praise outside the home are men? lmao Once any person has been a homemaker, they value any person who can finance that. It's not dependent on gender. No shit the person who doesn't have to work a 9-5 is appreciative of the person who pays the bills. Do you think this is some intelligent insight? I know personally several women who have SAH husbands and they have solid and long lived marriages. Your anecdote does nothing to dispel my belief that no…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 05:01 PM

All of the best chefs in the world are men. Cooking isn't womanly, but it's a task that makes sense for a homemaker to do. It's being the stay-at-home homemaker that is what I'm drawing attention to.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 04:43 PM
9

The problem is that they wish men didn't pick up on this... If most men realize they don't stand a chance with most women, the simping and favors from orbiters would dry up. Perhaps I'm being a bit facetious, but I think you can see what I'm getting at.

Ehh. Blame House MD and other medical drama soaps for scaring doctors into believing that every other woman patient has Munchausen's.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 04:17 PM

Just goes to show when incels and average men complain about women, they’re complaining about Stacy, not women. I think this is actually incorrect. Lots of men become jaded when the women they're supposed to be going for (equals in terms of looks) act like they're stacy and above the guy, which is an artifact of women being convinced they're all 10s and having too much attention via social media. Nobody became a jaded incel because they tried asking sydney sweeney out and got rejected.

iPad kids are a serious concern, but it raises more of a question that concludes with : we need a more involved (stay-at-home ) parent while the kids are young to obtain that level of care where kids get read to, fed well, etc.

That's different. If you saw him wearing an apron cooking dinner and fake breastfeeding a child with a big smile on his face as you got home from a hard day at the office, you can't tell me you wouldn't lose some respect for the guy. A butler and nanny isn't stoking any sexual fires in any woman I've ever known.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 01:53 AM

I think a lot of people underestimate the number of shotgun weddings and babytrapping that happened, but I think that was more a relic of previous decades One thing I will commend newer generations on is their unwillingness to commit to shitty marriages for the sake of the kids
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 01:41 AM

Exactly. Women in a sexually primal sense want Jack from the Titanic, not modern Dicaprio. That's likely why he only dates women for a few years at a time
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 01:02 AM

Maybe I'm traditional, but I think there are certain things men do that are feminine and will give women the ick; and one of those things is acting like a mother to really young children.

You believe a majority of those divorces are because the woman got "bored". So insanely bored as she juggles the household, a few kids and a couple pets. There's certainly more to it than that. I think ALL women innately pussywhip men into becoming boring, lesser versions of themselves; if not marrying boring lesser, "safe" men when it's time to settle down and have kids when the beasts they want to tame lose interest. It doesn't matter who a guy is (alpha, beta, whatever), women will try to chi…

/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 09:52 PM

I'm just tired of these hollow takes on what men need to be or do that really don't really have any bearing on physical attraction. Tell men to start lifting weights and wearing clothes that fit properly and I'm with you 100%, but most of my friends that are married or in relationships put next to no effort into fashion besides throwing things out once they develop holes or bad stains.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 09:49 PM

I'm just making a point. Women (and men, though I think OP is actually a woman larping as a man) will say men should do this and that, but then a guy hits back with "well what about this guy?" and suddenly it's "YoUr MiNdSeT iS blah blah blah"

So why do women say "be her friend first?" Why is it so important to be a woman's friend before being her lover? and how many guys get stuck in the "friend-zone" because they followed this awful "befriend her first" advice? I'm not excusing guys being unclear about their intentions, but to give them some benefit of the doubt: there is awful societal advice that men are given with regards to pursuing romantic relationships - one such piece being "be her friend first."
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 06:50 PM

The thing is that the nice guy doesn't realize he's being overly nice, which can be seen in a transactional way. That's just how he was raised. It's not until his kindness gets abused one time too many that he realizes that it's not doing him any favors.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 06:46 PM

Guys who don't realize they're being abused and abusive women deserve eachother? Imagine swapping the genders on a statement like that. How about we just say abuse is bad, instead of talking about how someone might deserve it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 06:35 PM

I'm not saying I let myself be a slave to the pussy. I'm saying enough men will be a slave to the pussy that women will sex as leverage in getting what they want with little other compromise.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 03:29 PM

Because enough men have experience seeing good women get tainted by a bad boy (or bad boys). I'm not going to assume a woman is a shitty person because she has the hots for a bad dude, but I'm going to silently judge her for enabling a shitty dude's toxicity.

It's a fairly empty buzzphrase that plays into the latest "women oppressed" theatre of the culture it. It seems to imply that it's only women being therapists for men, when we often see that women often require a lot of emotional upkeep compared to men. The reality is that a relationship involves two people being emotionally there for one another. If you don't want to do emotional labor, don't get into relationships.

What you might have seen me say in the past is: if sex is all you offer, why should anyone want more?

This is why divorce is initiated so much by women: Sex dries up, husband gets sexually frustrated because earlier in the relationship they were having lots of sex, he doesn't feel any motivation to be a good partner because he feels duped (since sex was frontloaded in the relationship, just like interest on a loan), might even become a bit cold-hearted and out of love, and then the woman uses this as ammo to break the family up without any guilt. I don't necessarily seek to determine fault, but I certainly avoid giving the benefit of the doubt until I know more than one side of the story. For example: when a woman says her previous boyfriend was abusive or an asshole (or something like that), my default response is kind of a "okay, and?" Rather than accept she's the victim by playing into the whole "I'm not like that" or "I'm so sorry to hear that" schtick, I deflect and see if she tells on herself later.

When women can make their own money, most would prefer an alpha trophy boyfriend/husband that starts as a hookup. I'm not looking for a partner at Target, I'm tryna buy things I need This is said a lot, but you're all telling a half truth. If you see a guy you like at target, what are the odds you try to make yourself approachable? Some women make total fools of themselves trying to get a guy's attention in places like the grocery store. I personally enjoy unisex clothing stores, bookstores, and weekday evenings at the grocery store.

Hopefully nothing too uncomfortable or harassing. Were you at least flattered some of the time? There's really nothing like an old man's "life's too short to pussy out" attitude and confidence. I think it's a way for guys to set and test if a woman can respect boundaries. If he wants to keep it private, and has stated as such, but she starts telling the world, it's a good sign she won't respect the other boundaries he sets in the relationship. I could see things being private in the early stages if the guy has lots of options but is largely monogamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/25 11:30 PM

Private is usually if he doesn't want people to know yet, hiding is when she doesn't want people to know EVER.

“Men don’t commit anymore." Completely false. Plenty of men commit. If you’re not meeting them, you’re fishing in the wrong pond or ignoring the ones who actually want commitment in favor of men who never will. That’s on you. I think this is the one that is lost on women. They are so focused on a trophy-level attractive boyfriend (the same kind of guy that all women are shooting for) that they ignore guys who might not have as many options but still would make phenomenal partners. For women that…

lmao nice conclusion to draw from that, but you've managed to miss the entire point a guy who can womanize well has probably done it a good amount before... maybe a lot; therefore probably has other women. I'm not a misandrist, I just accept that some guys that have opportunities to get with lots of women are going to take them; and this scales up with how attractive the guy is as a package deal. ... Nah, it's just that the internet is generation Z's therapist - among other things... IG/FB/Snap still exists and I’d argue it’s more effective than dating apps It seems to get its effectiveness from being required by some women. For those women, you basically have to have social media or else you're a serial killer. They want to be able to check you out and socially "verify" you before they agree to a date or anything. Acknowledging that social media and dating apps might be part of the problem because of the power imbalance they introduce has, until recently, been labelled as 'InC*L' rhetoric, so you're right that these views probably shouldn't be mentioned to women. You've got it backwards. They hate the idea, but love the reality - which is why you see women date the men that they date. The very problem arises when women think they can respect a man that is equally or less "powerful," to where women are brainwashed into entertaining relationships that will never work out in a long-term sense to where women biologically crave "powerful" men. Ask yourself this: of those "happy wife, happy life" guys that you know, how many are totally miserable?

Not to a bossbabe, stronk, independent type that just needs to get off every now and then. They serve a purpose so long as they aren't clingy and wanting more than sex out of the arrangement. Some women absolutely have a living, breathing dildo - he could be a felon, a future felon, or otherwise a bum - he's hot and dicks her down well is all that matters in this type of "relationship"
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/25 11:39 PM

The guy was looking to get laid on the third date and she already saw him as husband-material and not a hookup. Basically: he was BB, and he came on way to strong trying to be AF; so she saw he was fake in some regard and it was an "ick." Notice how she didn't say he's attractive or charming.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/25 11:17 PM

C. She might not entertain a relationship if she has financial standards for that kind of partner, but he could absolutely end up being a longer term fwb if he plays his cards right and doesn't fall in love. This dynamic describes a lot of situationships, where successful women will casually see absolute losers just because they're hot womanizers.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/25 11:09 PM

The data is irrelevant to what were talking about. If you take the true definition of single, most women 18-39 will answer with "in a relationship" when they're actually single but currently acting as a booty call/fwb to a guy they want a relationship with. "It's complicated" is basically in a relationship for a woman who is smitten.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/25 10:44 PM

Younger men are struggling to date women their age? and older men have no problems getting wives or common-laws? Shocker. Why do women pretend that the 3 year average age gap doesn't exist, and notably exists on a bell curve...?? So "single" in reference to this study isn't actually what being single is ... riiiiiiiight.

The biggest issue with not having kids as a lifestyle choice is the idea that some of said people might not necessarily want to leave the earth/environment in a better state for future generations. The green renew&recycle machine could stoke birthrates by encouraging having children as a green thing to do since people will want to treat the natural environment well so their offspring can enjoy it, but that means telling the average woman to marry and reproduce with her equal... and heaven forbid…

In case you didn't notice, there are areas or groups that drive cultural change - zeitgeists. Haight-Ashbury was the birthplace of the sexually freed hippy drifter culture. Now that we live in this hyperlinked world where the internet drives culture more than anything, the shit you see influencer women in Miami and LA do eventually trickles down and normalizes behaviors that you see picked up by western women via the zeitgeist - in this case, social media. /r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 08:37 PM

It entertains me how people are trying to make this a 1:1 comparison between men and women when it's not even close. Most men take what they can get, and most women get what they'll take. What that means is men usually stay single in the time where the ex runs off to have her fun. So while she racks up sexual partners or immediately jumps into a new relationship, the guy will generally get zero (or one to two rebound flings) because he's busy picking up the pieces after being blindsided (and pos…

Sexism might have paved a way for where misandry could flourish, but sexism isn't necessarily hate. We have seen a sharp increase in misogyny recently, and I think part of it is that women have been rabidly misandristic to the point where many men have no choice but to hate back (women asked for equality, and men are giving it to them) - treat others as to how you want to be treated basically.

I think an open marriage offers a beta the best chance of keeping his wife in the long term. To use a fishing analogy... the idea is that if you give her enough line, she'll tire out by the time the line loses its slack; then it's easy to reel her in. On the other hand: keep the line short and slackless, and she'll just thrash and break the line if she really wants to be off the hook.

I mean, to think you can own someone is considered... well... morally bankrupt these days. "She's not yours, it's just your turn" is actually the best mindset to have if you want to minimize the emotional loss when that person eventually moves on. It's the possessiveness that is our psychological downfall when the inevitable end of the relationship comes.

I like analogies because they cut a lot of the fat and pave the way for a much deeper conversation. But, if somebody gets hung up on the semantics of "x is like y" without ever considering the comparison being made: you know it's pointless to get in deeper with them in general, and women are notoriously bad with analogies in my observations When women said men are like dogs, most men actually played along with the analogy and tried to improve... but it was futile, because women like dogs.

It's insecurity to want the same (or better) treatment as the guys before you? It's actually basic self-respect.

Women don't really approach in the traditional sense. They might make a man's job of approaching easier by standing close to him and being passively receptive, but they don't ever really break the ice because they don't have to take that risk. The exception is drunk women... They will be aggressively forward.

Very good point. Women are fake nice to each other all the time, so some wrongfully assume a guy being kind is some fake thing - especially now that niceguy(tm) is a thing.

The red pill doesn't tell anyone to do anything. For the third and final time - it's not prescriptive Grifters (many of them are ex-PUA guys) claiming to be red pilled tell people to do those things. Those grifters are prescribing manipulation to their lackeys. Hold them accountable. The red pill might have some explanation for why dread game or negging works, but it doesn't tell one to do it. Women like what they're used to, and for many that starts with this image created by their father. eg. if she's a farm/small town girl, her father is probably a farmer or blue collar guy; so she'll like guys that remind her of her father. In your case, I'm guessing you came from a more suburban ubringing; so those women are familiar with a softer around the edges suburban man. There's also a cultural aspect where the culture roughly shapes the type of man her father is, so people from the south …

Bingo. They love to turn women's fetishes into "men bad." Violent choking is actually pretty uncommon in porn. Sensual choking (just a light grip) isn't even common really.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 07:00 PM

Isn't violent choking a very common theme in popular smut targeted towards women? To see it in porn, you have to dive pretty deep down the rabbit hole. In other words: Men don't fetishize on choking women, but women absolutely fetishize being choked.

IDK, you're looking at red pill as if it's prescriptive - like lots of people do. If you look at it as more of a descriptive, unfiltered view of female nature where the individual can do with that information as they see fit, it's not as evil as people make it out to be.

Women have a high risk for producing children with birth defects at advanced maternal ages because the eggs are literally as old as these women are. The male sperm is weeks old at most, and the human male body has ways to expel (wet dreams) or recycle (autophagy) old sperm. It makes no evolutionary sense for the body to produce a lower quality sperm. If nature didn't want men to have kids past a certain age because survival of the offspring is lessened, men would go through manopause and experie…

I simply stated that any cultural zeitgeist is generally based around central talking points that repeatedly come up. Do you have a problem with feminists constantly talking about the patriarchy, the pay gap, etc? If not, you shouldn't have a problem with this subreddit centralizing on a few major topics.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 08:09 PM

Did I say that? Maybe you should unsubscribe... this place isn't for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 07:50 PM

You say that because it sounds good in your head, but I've seen guys have to cover up or dress down when out in public with their comparatively ugly girlfriends. They aren't covering up to hide their identity... they're covering up to avoid attention that will make their girlfriend insecure.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 07:49 PM

But he has no control over how insecure the woman will get when she sees how desired he is. I feel sorry for guys who date so far down that it's just a constant battle with the woman's insecurity of being comparatively ugly.

Therefore only women have a biological clock And many of them make the men who will be good husbands and fathers wait until time is running out, so I really don't get how this is a problem men should really be concerned with. When my sperm was "healthiest" and I would have liked to be working towards a family, do you know what the women my age were doing? Having their fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 02:41 PM

No. I think the media avoids talking about the more important facets of the issue and hyper-focuses on average # of friends completely ignoring that men keep smaller, tighter-knit social groups.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/25 05:46 AM

Men have much more minimal social needs and less pressure to be social, so they often choose to be alone or keep with a small group of very close friends - whereas women will hang out and keep in touch with people they hate (frenemies) just to fill their social/emotional needs. That is to say, our socialization isn't a means to an end like it is for women - it's an end in and of itself.

Funny is a difficult one: women want a man that makes her laugh, but if he's good looking and makes her comfortable she will find his dumb jokes funny, so he doesn't really need to be naturally funny. This is a concept that isn't talked about enough.

A woman's innate reproductive strategy is to secure the sperm of the most dominant male, a man's strategy is to spread his sperm far and wide. Biology and evoloutionary psychology that a toddler could understand is at odds with your stance.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 06:33 PM
2

I'd have to disagree. Women judge men based on various characteristics and accomplishments, and all of these things tend to have a higher priority than the guy's personality. That is to say, if you can meet a woman's high priority wants; she will probably give your sub-stellar personality a pass.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/25 05:40 PM
2

It's projection. Women will fuck criminals and lowlifes if the guy is sufficiently attractive, and this behavior isn't just limited to lowlife women. Most of what women say about men is projection. They say some men aren't successful with women because they "need to take a shower" or "need to dress/groom better," which is ironic because women will notoriously shower as little as possible (instead they take hoe-baths) and show up to university lectures, work, etc. in PJs or sweats.

That's the core of AF/BB. Women will pretend to be attracted to men they feel ZERO lust for because they tick a lot of boxes for longer term goals, such as providing a specific lifestyle. Is there anything wrong with this? only if the guy realizes it's not true love. And how many guys are currently in an arrangement where they think a woman is actually highly attracted to them? It's not magic. It's pure calculation.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/25 04:44 PM

The divorce rate, with regards to the statistical 50% we often see thrown around, is actually low because it includes older generations with lasting marriages that actually took the whole "til death do us part" thing seriously. It's also worth noting that the boomers are a very large demographic, since they were born in a period where having 4-5 kids was the norm. I'd say the divorce rate is probably 65-70% if you don't include boomers.

This reminds me of something I've been thinking about lately. When women (especially here) describe what they're attracted to, they're actually just telling you things they would find appealing to have in a best-friend. The pills have helped men understand that women have a non-rational attraction towards looks and athleticism (physical dominance), hence why the red pill suggests improving looks and hitting the gym consistently; and yet women will expend so much energy denying that they are attr…

In this day and age, being a sole provider usually means bankrolling a lazy mooch of a person.
