There’s a dude who keeps reminding me of a joke I apparently made about shoving him in a locker like 2 years ago. And he’s got like 10 alts so he keeps trolling me with it. Angels fan still REALLY hates me over something I said to him years ago. Some folks really need perspective.

It’s amusing to watching men in modern society who just cannot fucking deal with their gender not being able to have their cake and eat it too.

Actually men claim to not like bitches but do. “I want a nice sweet girl” usually winds up with boredom and/or cheating.

I don’t see why this is surprising or ironic. RP is basically common knowledge that emotionally intelligent socially competent people already know, with added edgy language to appeal to bitter men.

Republicans are the ones that the lower, working, and mostly middle class want to represent them, because they're the ones they largely vote for, as you said yourself. Link to where I said this. Again, you are not fooling anyone.

First off, I already told you that using the term left winger outs you as a foreigner. Second, last I checked, the Ds and Rs get equal donations from the wealthy. To pretend the Rs are suddenly the voice of the downtrodden is as disingenuous as saying the Ds are still the working man’s party. Any real American no longer holds any illusion that either party isn’t a pawn of the 1% with “for the people” rhetoric constructed to get votes so they can stay in office and keep handing out more gimmes an…

Because men who struggle but keep refusing to accept that female sexuality is very different from male sexuality and approaching the pursuit of women from this mindset will continue to fail. If I kept insisting that men are “turned on” by or prefer women who excel at their careers and motherhood because WOMEN RESPECT those women, you’d laugh me out of the sub. Sure, those women happen to be the ones most likely to get and stay married. But it’s not because hubby drives home every night getting a…

UMC may not be able to buy their way into Harvard like the UC can but they can and do buy their way into middlebury or bowdoin or swathmore etc. I’ve seen it happen.

Their actions say they’re attracted to a man who looks good, is charming and charismatic, who flirts, makes her feel sexy, etc. IE he has a high count because women find him attractive. Not because his high count is attractive. How many times do I need to say this?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/22 01:53 AM

Ding ding ding! Men ENVY men who wrack up numbers. Women do not get aroused by mens envy of other men. Finally someone gets it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/22 01:52 AM

Wrong on both counts. They both have intergenerational wealth. The UMCs is largely from land/real estate equity handed down and the UCs is that magnified by many many generations plus tons of other high value assets. And yes UMC strives to send their kids to selective if not elite schools. Sure some end up at mid tier state schools but that’s almost always because they’re not smart. And even then, lots of dumb kids get into highly selective schools through their parents connections. The UC has b…

“You just jave to make sure the kid doesn’t die.” Said to me more than once here. But hey — these dudes can’t even take care of themselves, what the fuck do they know? Most of them still have their mothers doing their laundry and fixing their meals.

promiscuity is associated with positive attributes in men …by other men. “I really need a man whore who’s banged 100 hoes” said no woman ever. What YOU admire in men is not what WOMEN desire in men.

No one really wants to date a ho — male or female. The debate here is and always has been about what makes a ho. For men here it’s has had more partners than me, which is usually 1. And to be clear, a ho is more than a number. But I wouldn’t expect you to understand this.

Throwing out bill gates and Steve Jobs is like crying that your 5’4” friend dates supermodels so short men don’t struggle at all. I haven’t cared about count since I was in high school. If he’d had an astronomical count that would have revealed itself in his PAST relationship history and CURRENT behavior. He wouldn’t marry a woman who wasn’t college educated from a MC family with professional parents. It’s a lifestyle thing. If you want the type of childhood you had for your own children, you marry someone similar. Ridiculous. I absolutely assessed my H’s past before committing to him. His n count was just not something of any concern to me (or to him). Because you’re defining class as income. Class is not income. A guy who made 200k last year running his own plumbing business is not upper middle class. A artist who only sold one painting last year but whose parents are Exeter alums is still upper middle class. Following? The UMC in America has a set of values distinct from the overall middle class. And two of the core ones are educated at selective colleges and liberal views. Where’s Altas when you need her?

It’s less a gender thing and more a class, race, age geographic thing. I live in a VERY blue metro area, most educated city in the US, where lots of people work for the federal government. The needle is solidly liberal across genders (even military men here tend to be middle of the road if not liberal). Drive 2 hours away to a VERY red state, and you will find women who are as equally against the safety net, ACA, gay marriage, immigration, et al as the men are. Let me give you an intersectional …

Many parents do believe they are caring for their son when they make the decision to circumcise them. Look I work in health. I researched the procedure and talked to 3rd parry doctors. I would not have elected to have it done if I didn’t believe it was in his best interest. Don’t assume that parents are not making an informed decision. There are health benefits to circumcision. There are no health benefits to FGM. It’s literally done out of the belief that cutting off a woman’s clitoris will make sex uncomfortable so she won’t cheat or have premarital sex. In the US circumcision is the parents choice. In places where FGM is common, there is no choice. Girls (who are teenagers or older not babies when it’s done) are not given a choice nor are their families. Furthermore, there do seem to be some tensions between what women find sexually desirable and what otherwise might seem like the kind of behavior we want to encourage in men. I am SOOOO tired of hearing this. my life is FILLED with men who are decent hard working men, good fathers, responsible, etc and have very happy relationships. Somehow they can be all of the above and still be attractive to their wives and girlfriends. And I am hardly an anomaly. At some point you guys have to admit that a …

There was a reason why our parents made us go out and play even if we didn’t feel like it. I keep saying we allowed parenting to become put devices in kids hands and let them do the babysitting while mom and dad work 80 hours a week to keep a roof over their heads. If we really cared as much about children as we pretend to in this country, we’d have family friendly laws and policies.

The first DV shelter for men was opened by a woman. Three women started the Black Lives Matter movement, which focused on police violence against black men in particular. The vast majority of people running and working at nonprofits that help men are women. A lot of Women do care. They’re just not the hot girls on onlyfans so you don’t see or acknowledge them.

You’re straight up admitting that women were oppressed by stating that being able to support yourself and hold a job is a “male thing.” Meaning jobs were reserved for men leaving women unable to put food on the table and roof over their head without relying on a man. So men are not responsible or accountable for their actions in other words? And if we’re going to go down that rabbit hole, everything women do to men is deserved because men must be “attracted” to violent, predatory, manipulative women. most problems are cultural ones and can be avoided by making the right choices Funny how that never applies to men whining about “sexlessness” all over the internet. In America, single motherhood is inextricably tied to poverty. It has little to do with chasing chads 🙄 it has to do with the state of poor neighborhoods and the shortage of employable marriageable men, and women who do not want to forgo their chance at motherhood because they’re not able to live the white picket fence fantasy of the middle class.

There’s such an aversion in your generation to growing up. And I blame your parents, but that’s a separate conversation. I’d need more information. On a base level no, I say live and let live. But if he saw escorts because he wanted a woman who’s let him do debasing sexual acts, or because he was cheating on someone, or because he wants the girlfriend experience (IE a one way relationship) I find that objectionable.

THAT is why you shouldn’t keep hitting on her if she’s not receptive, not because she won’t ever want to fuck you do she doesn’t in the first few minutes (which is totally false and the type projection of male sexuality onto women that has become standard on this sub).

Game is about eliciting attraction and closing the deal. It’s a sales job. But — just like sales — once the client has signed the contract the relationship becomes something different. You’re not closing a deal anymore, you’re keeping the client happy by delivering.

We don’t need their preferences “explained” to us 20 times a day 7 days a week. We know. We get it. We’re not unclear on the subject. They’re not looking for us to understand. They’re looking for us to validate. They’re looking for us to feel bad about ourselves for not doing what they think we should be doing.

Here's the thing though. A lot of guys assert that when it comes to women/dating/relationships today the juice isn't worth squeeze. They want the good parts of women without all of the stuff they don't want. So they pay to have those things they want, and as long as they accept their decision, why look down on them? It's far better than spending your days miserable, screaming at the sky for society to go back to the 1950s.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 05:26 PM

Yes it's a very autistic way of thinking
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 04:36 PM
2

Yeah, I think that's the real issue. These guys just HAVE to separate women into 2 categories of good and bad. The realization that women don't align neatly into their categories really disturbs them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 04:35 PM
2

Maybe it depends on what you mean by submissive/dominant. Can you explain?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 04:32 PM
8

I hear this a lot here: you “can’t” want an equal relationship while liking your man to be dominant in bed. Where does this idea come from that if you as a woman view and respect your man as your equal, split duties, and share decisions that you forfeit your right to have him grab your hair while riding doggy as a result. Is this (like most things on PPD) a cultural thing? Someone explain it to me please.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 03:43 PM
1

The only people I hear ever say this are young guys on Reddit with no relationship experience. Who i imagine think a relationship is managed on spreadsheet that must add up to 50/50. IE lay off the “you can’t” lecturing. this is your opinion and nothing more.

If I met such a man who was comfortable with it, I would. But my experience with that hasn’t been so great. I may be in that situation in a few years. When my son goes off to college my H wants to start his own business. I’ll be the breadwinner. Even if I did insist on being with a man who made more than me, how is that any different insisting on being with an attractive woman, or a blond woman, or a (gasp!) virgin or whatever? Or do you think only men have the right to preferences?

/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 02:56 PM

Oh for sure many are attractive and they tend to carry themselves in a much more masculine way than white collar guys. But it’s just not for me. It’s also challenging to be with a man when you have more education and make more money than him (though I admit successful blue collar guys make good money).
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/22 11:47 AM
13

They can’t stop projecting their own sexuality into to women. So they don’t believe women can be attracted to the other 80% and tell themselves those women are just using them. Or they don’t want to admit it because they think it’s unfair they have to do work they think the 20% doesn’t have to. “Why should I have to do xyz when cHaaaD doesn’t have to.”

Ironically, the people who seemed to have the biggest fear/disdain for marriage are also likely the people most suited as "marriage material" I couldn’t disagree more in that most of their fears/concerns comes from an assumption that they'll be the ones doing all the work and shouldering all the risks while the other party simply reap the benefits. In the real world people see sex as activity they enjoy doing with another person who is also enjoying it. A lot of men here think sex is a vending machine you stick your dick into and validation and masculinity pop out. And boy are they mad that they don’t have exact change.

You have to define what “success” looks like. To most men on this sub it seems to be tons of NSA sex with attractive young women. I’m well aware of that. I rarely see a woman here who expresses this line of thinking. But when I do I don’t hesitate to call them out (like me saying that suggesting that if a man agrees to wait for sex it shows he is interested and serious about you is laughable)

Some men, maybe a significant number of men, don’t look good bald. And maybe that comes down to how he adapts to or styles it. That is key. If you’re doing this you could look like George Clooney and it doesn’t matter. I say this as a woman who loves bald men. 100% of men can’t pull it off.

Realistically most capable of racking up those numbers — which take time — are of the age where no one cares anymore. I know you guys are young but really, adults do not go around asking or talking about each other’s n count in casual conversation. The biggest problem is that this sub is full of black and white literalists who don’t understand the difference between trends and absolutes. Yes. Women generally prefer men with some status. But it doesn’t shake out that way 100% of the time and that doesn’t make it not true in the aggregate. What’s varies more is what that status marker is in relation to her own available pool. It isn’t that hard to be good at sex. Anything you’re doing wrong (with the exception of having a micropeen which is rare) can be corrected. Unless you just don’t care. Which would be the real issue. There’s a certain older poster here who likes or brag about not caring whether his partners are satisfied and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that he has a new girlfriend every couple of months. And squiring isn’t real.

But tbf so can young men. Refractory time for a teenage boy is a few minutes, for a 40 year old man it can be as long as an hour. They’re a whole body experience SOMETIMES. They do vary in intensity, just like imagine they do for men. Also it should be very telling that “lesbians have them quite often” but straight women don’t. A whole nother convo. Wasn’t accusing you of being young. That was a generic statement.

Additionally, women generally cum more than men and (IMO) more intensely. Ive always questioned this. So called multiple orgasms are just the lack of or shorter refractory period for women (which correlates pretty strongly to age in both genders). Young people need to stop thinking porn is reality. As far as intensity, I call bullshit on that too.

The whole point of lystrata was that the women chose a sex strike to make the men stop warring because the women can live without sex, the men can’t. And women never being satisfied with sex doesn’t mean women want sex more than men. It means men aren’t as good as satisfying women as they should be. The irony here is that your reasoning for thinking this is proof women want sex more — that they’re not satisfied — is based on ignorance of female sexuality. Quantity doesn’t satisfy us — that’s men…

I’ve been shaving the poon since the 90s because I was a competitive gymnast and you pretty much have to when you live in leotards. My understanding from men is that it was pretty uncommon in the US up until about 20 years ago.

Many people in the comments seem to be confused about whether we’re talking about a male only group where women are explicitly excluded and a group built around a hobby or something else to that happens to have all male membership. Boy Scouts in an example of the former. That no girls want to join your gamer nerd group doesn’t make it a “men’s group.”

I’m assuming you’re talking about a sugar baby or OF girl. Which is a bullshit argument. You have a skills set or talent or something that you can sell on the labor market for money. It’s a bullshit argument. There are and have been hundreds of thousands of laws passed in this country to mandate the behaviors and actions of adults because we unfortunately do have to save people from themselves, AND we have to save them from harming other people with their actions.

When ever someone says that men statistically have more lifetime sexual partners than women, men on PPD fire back that that is impossible — every time a man has sex a woman has sex too. It should therefore even out. So why does that thinking not apply to more single men than single women? Hmmmm???
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 03:41 PM

Because by 40 most men have been married at least once and if they’re back out on the dating market, they’re not interested in going back to being a single guy. They’ve gotten used to be taken care of by a wife/woman and they don’t want to live without that.

Classic PPD. Every single one of the men here totally ignored this part: “women are more likely to say they have had some particularly negative experiences. Most women who are currently single and looking to date (65%) say they have experienced at least one of six harassing behaviors asked about in the survey from someone they were dating or had been on a date with, such as being touched in a way that made them uncomfortable or rumors being spread about their sexual history. It’s a generational thing. In past generations, men had the advantage. So it was more common for women to throw each other under the bus to appeal to and compete for men. That has become less common as women have achieved equality, and I hear from younger women that they don’t see this at all. Overall it’s a pretty standard human dynamic. The groups with less power have to protect themselves and negotiate their way with fewer and sometimes no resources and some will resort to tuning on their own…

Could that be a good explanation as to why women delay marriage? So to create a situation that maximises sexual exploration? What does this have to do with my point or with cheating? Could it also then be that people create situations that restrict cheating? Anyone who wants to cheat can find a way to cheat. If by “North American” you’re including Us cities, this is description is so far off I’m not even sure what to say. Again, we’re talking self awareness here. If you’re introverted, strangers aren’t going to strike up conversations with you, but they do all the time with extroverts. If you don’t have a social network, sure you’re going to think people aren’t having “social events,” but I assure you they are.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 09:36 PM

Actually no. It’s mainly because a lot of men here are stuck in a mentality that says they shouldn’t have to change, everyone/thing else should change to accommodate them. Women should be less “hypergamous.” Society should help men with their dating woes. And so on.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 09:35 PM

It definitely does. If you’re a man in nyc sure there are more single women than single men, but nyc women tend to be way more materialistic and money/status driven. You don’t want to be trying to date in Seattle if you’re conservative or Oklahoma City if you’re liberal. You don’t want to be a black woman trying to date in rural Iowa. And this is proof that red pillers are not part of the normal social networks of people their own age and do not interact with many people IRL. So they buy into the paranoia driven theories of the manosphere and believe that 100% of women are chasing 20% of men and ignoring the other 80%. There’s no way anyone whose ever left their house can legitimately believe this. If a guy thinks he’s “normal” and can’t get a woman to even look at him twice, he’s not as normal as he thinks he is.

How exactly do you find your Prince Charming if you’re “opting out?” You understand that you don’t meet potential partners by telepathy right? You meet them by actively dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 04:13 PM
5

Nope. In fact that’s one of the reasons I’m for legalization. Porn stars are prostitues but it’s legal and any other transaction of sex for money isn’t for the sole reason that a bunch of fat middle abed white guys calling themselves producers are making money off porn.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 04:09 PM

Not if the argument is women don’t want men who aren’t top tier. Though I think I get why you guys think this. The belief is probably more that women are sharing cHad than they’re opting out. Reality is they’re opting out. Man sharing is still the minority. The other reality is that number opting out is also the minority, given that the majority of men (not teenagers or college aged guys) are in relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/22 04:05 PM

Or opt out. Like they’re already doing. So again what will be the difference.

change the convention that men should always pay (which requires men to stop being thirsty but i digress). The idea that a man paying shows he’s interested and serious is as outdated as the horse and carriage. legalize and destigmatize prostitution as a better option for men who can’t or don’t want to make a go of it with women (legalization also make its safer and more equitable for sex workers) That’s all I got.

I’m on the hiring side too. I’ve been managing teams for 15 years. The tech field is heavily male and actively trying to recruit women. So yes they’re making a concerted effort. But there’s a high demand for tech roles. So much that they have to go overseas to fill a lot of them. even with efforts to recruit more women, men are not losing out on opportunities unless they’re not qualified. The opposite would be true if you were in the nursing field, which is heavily female. They’re actively tryin…

From a dating/relationship perspective, that as a straight woman you’ll never get equal emotional support to what you give and most of your partners will have an ingrained belief that they’re superior to you, even if they don’t recognize it in themselves. And in hindsight, do you not think that was actually an advantage over growing up in inner city that's 90% black? Irrelevant to the point being discussed. Were you not accepted? Did white people take extra care to include you in things and make sure you have everything you need to do well? Even perhaps pushed you to do well? Or did they try to exclude you from everything across the board and treated you unfairly? I’ve already answered this question. I grew up in a much more diverse environment. …

If looks matter for men too, how does that make women privileged for being held to the same standard? The fact that some people have it harder than others is a fact of life that has been a fact of life since people have been on this planet. The only thing you can do about it is accept the fact that you have to work harder than someone else to get what you want. Just like you’ll have to work harder than rich kids if you weren’t born rich. Life isn’t fair. Be an adult and accept it.

Men look their best physically in their 30s but once they hit 40 it’s downhill like a rollercoaster for most. Men don’t get to decide what is attractive to women. Because you think men age better and are still attractive in middle age doesn’t mean women think so.

Yes but men adapted by playing up other strengths. The other thing that isn’t being said here is the effect of men’s judgement on height. Short guys I know are always getting ragged on for being short, even their friends make short jokes. Some of these guys may also think that the extra height will help in making other men respect them. After all, 75% of CEOs are 6 feet plus.

All people are able to do whatever they want. I’m offering my opinion. Don’t cheat. But if you slip once and do, don’t tell your spouse just to unburden you if your guilt.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/09/22 04:17 PM

I don’t think cheating is OK. But there are situations where the affair is over and the side piece is gone and the marriage is good but the cheater wants to confess to relieve their guilt. I say don’t do it. Don’t crush your spouse and potentially blow up your family just so you can feel better about your mistake. Don’t transfer your burden onto your spouse. Gotta just lie in the bed you made and live with the guilt.

Some I’m sure fear getting hurt and come off as being emotionally void as a defense mechanism. Others really do seem to me like misanthropes who’d be happy if they had a sexbot and never had to interact with another human.

always this. To the youngins if you can’t close 100% of the time with minimal effort, you’re “struggling.”

Nah. There are men who are legitimately average with legit reasons for why they’re struggling that are not their fault. But when you ask men HERE what they’re doing to meet women, for most, the answer is ALWAYS the same — swipe on tinder, don’t go out, shun hobbies, and hang out here all day. or they get nasty and stomp off without answering. Or they give you a story about how they’ve done everything TRP, mark Manson, Jordan Peterson, that new guy, their friends, their family and everyone under …

I’ve had and still have plenty of male platonic friends — including friends of my bfs and H — who knew they had zero shot. Why does PPD act like having friends is some weird and unusual thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 09:17 PM

The biggest reason it’s a benefit is because of the potential to meet and it interact with her friends. And since she knows them, they’re pre vetted.

5 years seems like a big gap to a 24 year old but in a few years it will be nothing. Age gaps give me the skeevies when it’s: girls 18-20 with significantly older men like mid to late 30s and 40s girls under 18 with any legal age male

First off the point of this sub is to discuss issues related to sex and dating and relationships. There is no requirement that you have to subscribe to a pill theory — which don’t even exist outside Reddit and the manopshere. Second, why are you confirming that TRP says the same thing I am and then asking me if I am debating against TRP?

I have a group of close friends I’ve known since college or shortly thereafter and we stay close. We do things together. Our kids are all friends. We are aunties and uncles to each other’s kids. It’s basically an extended family. I think a lot of people will say it’s hard to maintain friendships when you have a family and a career. But I think that’s mostly just an excuse for people who don’t want to put in the effort. Some people really don’t enjoy being very social and the work it takes to mai…

You’re wrong about title 9 being about race and you’re wrong about it being used to expel men from schools. If you’re going to play the victim it’s much more believable if you get your facts straight.

Counters on the way: men can’t make friends, only women can it doesn’t matter if you’re not hot people don’t socialize irl anymore it doesn’t matter cause women don’t care about personality making a friend won’t get me laid (how long do I actually have to be nice to this friend before I get some poon btw?) Did i leave anything out? Come on, we’ve done this many times before. Edit: also I can’t make friends or talk to women cuz title 9. JFC

Meanwhile Starting with a reference point of the same age couple, a couple who has a 1-year age difference has a 3% greater likelihood of divorce. If there is a 5-year age difference, the risk increases 18%. 10 year age difference yields increased risk of 39%. If there is a 20-year age difference, the risk increases 95%

/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 02:14 AM

Where did you get the idea that economic parity only applies when women don’t want children? Isn’t this the whole point? Women would rather be alone than be tethered to man who brings little to the table beyond the paycheck she can earn herself. Why would she change her mind and suddenly commit to that man she doesn’t want to have a kid? Are you suggesting that women drop their standards to the floor to have a kid? I’m really not understanding what you’re getting at here.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/22 02:11 AM
23

In every government, economic and social measure “single parent” is defined as the parent actually raising the kid, not one who donated half the dna and isn’t supporting the kid financially or actively caring for them. So no there isn’t a “single dad for every single mom.” 38% of American kids have no contact with their biological father and more than half those fathers are not compliant with their child support orders. Those men are not “single dads.”

Single men with kids seem like a demographic so small as to be a insignificant sample. And I’d bet that tiny sample is almost entirely men over 40, so of course they’re going make a lot more than single childless men who are mostly in their 20s. And likewise wouldn’t the single women with kids skew to a huge overrepresentation of poor single mothers? I’d love to see an accurate analysis of this study’s methodology instead of a Bloomberg reporters attempt at some juicy click bait.

K. I’ll take this one. When people say “women make their own money now,” they mean women are no longer barred (legally or unofficially) from many kinds of jobs or paid significantly less than men. Women are no longer subject to laws the prevent them from owning property or businesses or even a credit card without a husband or father’s signature. Women are no longer in a position of economic subservience to men that made marriage a necessity. Because women have achieved this parity, COL is no mor…

Question OP: has technology made us more independent, isolated and lonely and taken us away from our nature as social beings? Or did technology just reveal that we were wrong all along, that when we don’t need to all cooperate for survival and are free to put ourselves first we actually prefer to be individualistic loners? It’s funny because back then men had to constantly prove they were “manly” and not gay. Yet they seemed to be a lot more comfortable with platonic male closeness than young men are today. Or maybe it just comes back to a common theme with young people today, they just weren’t raised to be social beings.
