I used to work in Banquets (massive hotel chain). We used to have strippers in some of the bucks/hens nights. The female strippers were always treated well - by staff and guests. They frequently DO. Then they are ridiculed or told to shut up, and they do that too. In the first 10 days of #metoo going viral, roughly 40% of the people who wrote in were men. I guess this makes sense as the vast majority of casting directors in Hollywood are women. These men were attacked and driven out of the hashtag. It didn't fit the narrative. Men DO speak up, but they are silenced by the orgainisations that say they are there to help victims.

Yeah, the attitude in #2 worried me a lot. An "uncle" warned me when I was young; "if you think a girl is going to be a nightmare to break up with, then break up with her. In "Who Stole Feminism" CHS wrote about the feminist conference she went to and how it immediately broke into smaller and smaller warring factions all claiming to be the most oppressed (by by each of the other groups) If one of those groups had the power to silence all of the rest feminism would be decimated.
