Take a recorder with you at all times - if you can get her to make that threat on tape, it will help your chances enormously. Only talk to her in public places that have CCD cameras.

It may seem somewhat draconian, but it might be worth considering getting a location logging app for your phone and have it regularly uploaded somewhere you have access to. You should try to tell nobody about the app, or the location logging. You could use this to give you an alibi with regards to your location should she make good on her threat. Yes it's not "air tight" but it may help throw some reasonable doubt in your favor. If you are someone who normally disables or limits location services on their phone, you will need to forgo some of your privacy for the potential sake of your freedom.

Have you thought about reporting this to the police preemptively? Also...delay...If there is a long time between when she claims the rape occurred and when she reported it that will hurt her case. Stay with a friend for a few days so you have an alibi. Tell him what's going on, in case he needs to act as a witness. Record everything.

If you're underage, or even if not, tell your parents. Start with your dad.

How was this blackmail transmitted? Via email/text/FB? If so, you have your protection right there. Make sure you have friends around whenever she talks to you. She is clearly ready to extort you so back yourself up there

talked to her and recorded it all, 100% paranoid schizophrenic. her only intent of meeting with me was to ask me to be her friend again and she used the false rape accusation via text to make me meet her. she didn't say it outright, but it was an empty threat. i recorded our whole conversation, it was pretty crazy. just talked in circles for an hour or so and my friend with me had to clarify everything to her because she couldn't understand basically anything i said but when my friend said it she understood it perfectly. she was clearly mentally disturbed making faces at random people talking behind us and not showing any response to our emotion. she was clearly off in her own world. i feel really bad for this girl, but i still need to cover my ass if she decides to accuse me of this for some other reason. seeking legal advice tomorrow then contacting her mom. i've never felt so uncomfortable and scared talking to someone in public i thought she was going to pull a gun. thanks for all the help everyone. i'll keep you updated
