So you guys were originally sitting in which position? Afterwards what? Sorry I'm confused. The T-shape was after?

Mind explaining the angle exactly. I assume you then sat directly in front of her?

I subscribe to the philosophy of the Tabula Rasa. People are not born with innate knowledge so what might seem obvious to one might not be to another. You know what allows you to pick up girls though? Being able to empathize with others as well as recognizing the fact that someone always has something to contribute, even if by non-example. Sure, this might not be beneficial to me but I can appreciate it and if it helps out just one guy find a girl who likes him, then it's worth it.

I enjoyed this because not only did you provide reasoning, you provided concrete, implementable advice. Man I feel really bad for saying this but it reminds me of my business class with our SMART goals. It's a good blueprint for goal creating. Specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time-bound.

I don't mind a girl who has an attitude of personality. However, I hate playing the game because eventually, you're going to lose by constantly trying to 'outgame' each other instead of spending time building a connection. Connection can be whatever you want, sex, relationship, etc. However, you're wasting time trying to think of how to interact with each other vs actually interacting together.

I'm 20 if you're willing to roll with me. However, I'm also into those things, but really big into entrepreneurship and fashion.

He's not saying it's an extreme level of pain and insecurity. He's simply saying it's natural to feel that when rejected. Learn to embrace it due to it being part of our humanity. What separates us from normal guys is that they're SO scared of that pain of rejection they'll never take a chance. That is the lesson he's trying to convey. Thanks for the post HappyJerk. Always like reading your stuff.

Mind writing what body cues to look for? I'm typically traveling so I don't have much time to sit back and get signals. It's open or lose the opportunity.

Thank you for writing that. It's actually quite thought-provoking for me.

Is it the pseudo-mentality thing? If that's the case, then yes. But I think it's dumb.

He's not saying go around spouting all your encounters. Girls will most likely gossip and he's saying that as long as you maintain your image amongst them, it's going to be alright.

Let's go with minimum number close. Also, I'd love more advice on getting people to stop their travels when talking to them. Let's say I approach a girl on the street but she errands to do. Stay my ground and hold?

Does day game have a low success rate? It doesn't help that most girls I approach are of Chinese descent who are quite traditional where they don't like talking to strangers. Doesn't stop me but definitely doesn't make it easier.

The issue is that I'm the only one who goes out in my house. I have tons of friends but no social circles. I guess I'll have to be the initiator thanks

I'm curious as to how you guys build such an active social life. What kind of steps did you take towards that?

Any good daygame videos where it isn't only number close? I'm curious to see how far kino goes in it. I watched a couple and it seems only display banter which is fine but I want to see kino as well.

Well think of it this way, at least nothing can be more embarrassing than that right? I feel you buddy. I once got too drunk, stripped naked in front of two girls, did a snow angel with no clothes on then got gossiped on by ALL of the girls at the party. Then I went back to hit on them. Heh. Now I just use it as a funny story as to why I don't drink anymore.

I'm not saying it is but currently I don't get to be on campus very much. I'm mainly at work or studying at home. I don't have any classes on campus and my schedule hasn't freed up until recently. I'll be going out this week though since I got rid of some commitments. Guess I should mix in studying on campus so I can do approaches at the same time. Thanks for confirming what I thought.

What's everyone's flake rate after number closing like? I find it fairly easy to number close but getting replies out and setting up dates is difficult. I've been trying to set up dates ahead of time in my first approach but not much success has yielded from that. I think I need to polarize them more and make a harder first impression. It's possible that I'm simply not giving myself enough time to work out a good first impression. These days due to my schedule, I've only had time to meet girls o…

Means that you have no social links with them nor part of the same social circle. Approaching a random stranger essentially.

Great analogy. Applies to a lot of other things that we learn.
/r/seduction22/05/13 12:25 PM

Logistics behind learning: how do you make sure you're not back pedalling, setting goals, defining long term goals, etc. Essentially, how to set yourself up for successful learning.

Always be moving further. In typical terms, it means establish a way of contacting her again. Most of the time this is used in reference to guys who go meet a new girl then forget to get her number and they'll never see her again.

You already did the hard part of initiating. It's just a step away.

What's your biggest mistake and what did you learn from it? How do you think the seduction/PUA game has changed over the years and where do you see it going in the future? Given a chance to speak to the Julien of old, what would you say? How do you train yourself to become someone with an excellent work ethic. Thanks and I enjoyed.watching the video. Your passion is quite admirable.

That's very vague for a book about psychics. Any chances you could drop a couple of hints to find it?

Make the rumours into legends. If you do well, you might even get a statue. My point is turn them into positive ones.

Adding onto that, if she does think less of him because he has a car, that's a disqualifier. People could have tons of legitimate reasons for not having a car so who are we to judge them right?

I second other's thoughts. I just hang around the community mainly and every time I see you posting, it's about your looks. Two things you can do possibly do at this point: Mope around or change everything that is in your power to change. This means confidence, working out, dressing well. What about a guy who has an amputated leg? Is he going to whine around all day about that? What the fuck is that going to do? Instead, look to the community for advice on changing other aspects of yourself irre…

I used to be in an engineering program then switched out to a business program. However, the school is especially renowned for its engineering and people are quite bottled up indeed. I hung out with friends from another university and their body language/openness is like night and day. I have to put in a lot more effort but if I can open up clam shells, I'll be good later on.

Well, you can't win all your battles. One t hing which probably occurred was you getting psyched out by your friend's performance which showed through how you acted. She might have picked up on that. I try and avoid getting in "competitions" with other guys and instead befriend them. It also displays confidence and security in yourself because you should be thinking "she'll come back to me if I'm better anyways." Don’t compete against him. A&A. Talk to him. Be alpha WITH him. Give each other val…

If you do it right off the bat, she might think you're only interested because of her looks. That can be a bad thing. If you do it after establishing comfort, she will think it's more genuine. Also, girls who are hot tend to know that they already are so it's stupid to mention it to them.
/r/seduction23/02/13 05:15 PM

Then it's most likely that the way you come off when approaching. If she's acting uninterested, it might be because you don't come off as genuine. It's true that we have ulterior motives but we also need to care about the person. I haven't really met anyone who dislikes someone wanting to get to know them better.

Well done man. It's just like public speaking and you'll improve in time. Think of all the guys out there who never even have the balls to consider rejection in the first place for their entire lives. Also, she didn't reject you. You just didn't ask for the number. Don't count yourself out too quickly :)

Always leave people better off than when you found them. We already tip toe a fine line between being a jerk and being a seductionist when we play the game. It's easy to fall into that trap.
/r/seduction11/02/13 01:46 AM

You can frame it as her thinking on a weird path. I think my mom is beautiful doesn't mean I'm in love with her.

Try it a couple of times. It's like asking if you like biking. You go bike a couple of times then you decide. It's your call when you feel like you should cut your losses. You're in control.

Ah okay. I'm still fresh in some of those aspects. Definitely makes a lot of sense. When I was reading the advice in the subreddit, I definitely felt like it wasn't very appropriate in my situations.

Does anyone have resources for where I could learn more about using physical touch to promote attraction? I feel like in a college/classroom situation, it's not as natural for me to engage in physical contact versus a club for example. Another question is that even though we promote escalating, escalating, escalating, what kind of time frames am I looking at? Once again, in the context of a university campus. Considering my age of 19, I feel like girls of my age still are exploring their persona…

Talk about what? As far as what? You're being very vague. Want to go on a date with her? Chat her up, put in some under tones. Warm her up to you. Mention you're going to do x activity and you want her to come along. If she says no, she might not be interested in you at all.
/r/seduction19/01/13 10:33 PM

If you need an excuse to bail, just say you have some friends to meet up on campus. You have higher social value than her (sure seem to talk it, anyways) yet your train of thought sure as hell doesn't suggest that. If she's socially awkward then you're already in a better position man. Also, remember being outcome dependent? You don't know shit about her really so why make up these fantasy scenarios. You're a man and I bet you're a clever one. You'll know what to do when it happens. As to wonder…

Don't make getting girls your number one priority. It can be an area of interest but don't be completely submissive to it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
