I don't know, because for many of us its engrained in our memory rather than making an active choice. Case in point, a lot of us will go out, think that this quote is money and there's no way we'll put girls on pedestals ever again, and then BAM we see a hot girl and freeze up. A lot of it is subconscious programming built up from years and years of being a certain way.

I think recently I've learned to accept that there will be situations where I don't make the approach, or I put the girl up on the pedestal. But instead of beating myself up over it, I realize its part of that development. I tell myself that after 20+ years of being a certain way, I don't expect change overnight. I appreciate the quote and its a great one to keep it in mind, but I don't see it a silver bullet.

This quote is somewhat helpful, let me explain why.

If you put a pussy on a pedestal (Treat girls like a God), you are most likely not going to pick up any girls. This also includes #closes. So yes, following this quote will help you by making the individual not seem to needy. At the same time though, doing this will make you look rude or like a cocky asshole.

This is something you do not want. Some girls do enjoy this because it acts almost as if it was a tease in a way. But as a bulk, it does not help you in any way positive. ESPECIALLY in a relationship.

There has to be a balance, don't give her all your attention, but give it to her when she needs it. Women are very emotional and that is the key to getting them. This sounds a tad douchy, but give them what they want, but just enough.

And if that is something you are not willing to do then don't even bother trying.

Recently lost a relationship with a girl I put so high up that it hit me right in the face. This doesn't mean be a dick 24/7. The best way to give an example is if she says she's going to call you is to text back saying that she will be lucky if you answer because you are doing "random activity". I've done this and even when they call sometimes not answer. Or if she wants you to take her somewhere and buy her dinner, split the bill, etc. I know this sounds fucked up to some people but its showing you aren't so into her that you're ready to be her personal slave. That gets unattractive quick.

Update Told the girl I'm talking to that ill fall asleep before she calls and she would be lucky if I answer. I'm awake and she called. Didn't answer and she texted saying eww. Not texting back till tomorrow when I wake up.

Meh, i can put someone on a pedastal when i have them sexually pleasured. If you dont stop sexually improving and know you will always be the best she has ever had put her on the pedastal you'll be fine if shes looking down at your because her eyes wil always be drawn to the tent in your pants.
