I think there's a difference in how males and females gain experience to get calibrated. While females generally are able to get a sense of who they can afford to be with by just existing (who approaches with sexual interest/long-term interest), males have to approach both upwards and downwards of their own desirability to get a sense of who their match could be.

This is actually what matchmakers ask their clients.

Usually as you experience more relationships, you learn how to manage your emotions better, balance relationship and your life better and have more realistic boundaries/expectations (they could either get higher or lower). I don't stress out about the same things that I did when I was younger, so those emotions I feel are quite a bit less intense. I know what I would do in more situations. Earlier relationships could be more like a rollercoaster of emotions due to that reason imo. But when it co…

There's women who are really into musicians. Me being one of them. I've had at least a little crush on basically all of my half decent musician friends. Can't explain why. My boyfriend plays the piano and I think he is hot even when he cuts his fingernails cause it reminds me of him playing the piano.

I very happily got together with a guy I went out with in high school a decade later. That proved to me that my taste in guys has barely changed over that time. I never was in some kind of fling and was always able to find someone I liked among the guys who were interested in me.

I advise people to date who they know. They could either agree or disagree with me, but I find that it's pretty much the only way to vet if they do want to vet that is. If not, you either don't know the person or assume things about the person while dating the person. You have an issue with people who assume the worst about the person. I am saying I have issues with trying to date strangers as a whole. I think online dating is only for people who don't care for vetting, or are naive, or think th…

I think this is something that stemmed from people attempting to date strangers. This is not how dating used to work at all. When people used to date within their communities, even if they didn't know the person directly, it was usually pretty easy to figure out someone's reputation. Also, when people had to live within the boundaries of a single community, people kinda had to care a bit more about their own reputation, and that too could have impacted their own actions. Before, it was easier to…

Conservative women are supposed to value what her family values. My boyfriend who had a relatively conservative upbringing asked me what my father values in a guy probably on our first date since that’s really important. Conservative households differ from family to family, but generally the guy has to be on par with the girl’s father or better.

So here's a part of the redpill that you seem to be forgetting when I read your post and comments. Dread game is a thing, because people often get too comfortable. It is based on the assumption that the person needs to reminded or threatened of their position. A lot of people can very well hide their true selves until they think they have gotten what they want, so you just keep reminding them that they actually haven't fully secured what they want. People often say this is not a healthy way to n…

This really depends. I tend to think men are more prone to oneitis for some reason. Not all Chads want Becky harems either so it really comes down to which Chad. If the Chad has oneitis, which they quite often do, the power goes to his oneitis. I know no Stacy in my family that thought men were something to win over... but that's anecdotal. Men chase and they choose. We have generations of actual models and model/top celebrity tier women in the family btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/25 07:19 PM

Probably not. It isn't even about me having sky high standards, but just no longer having the energy to really take new chances. Maybe it isn't much, but I was completely single for almost a year before my boyfriend who was pre-vetted from my high school days miraculously showed up. I was done with dating to the point that I just told my mom to bring me the arranged marriage requests my family has for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 08:53 PM

Exactly why I think the only way to properly vet is to go for people with plenty of options. Power reveals who the person is. Also, it is as if PPD hasn't heard of complacency which is way too common unfortunately. Things aren't that simple. Sometimes, just going for people who have enough leverage in the market to be transparent yields results in a more efficient manner than someone who would be hiding it for months. But of course, I do believe women/men have to measure up to the people they ar…

You are talking to a wall here. You still have access to the real world. People who primarily live online live in an alternate universe from you. My boyfriend has a 17 year old brother. The kid and his friends make fun of red pill apparently, and think it is something for weird losers. Don't lose your social circle or your connection to the real world. You might find yourself amongst the leftovers of the dating scene if you do.

Women just are more passive in nature in a general sense. It is not just with approaching guys, but many of them speak in codes or not explicitly or just want others to get it. I asked my boyfriend out and he too is freaking passive. I don't mind that he didn't approach, but his passivity is quite something. He is stereotypically feminine.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:28 AM

Relatives are just more likely to have more access and opportunity to abuse the kid. The moral of the OP seems to be don't let your guard down ever or something.

you were anticipating that they were going to approach I wasn't at all. I was PERFECTLY fine with them remaining my friends. you didn't want to ruin the friendship is cope Never suggested one or the other. I just was fine with not dating them. "he is a man, he should approach, otherwise, I am going to lose the upper hand" Again, the upper hand does not exist. That's some really pathetic belief that stems from thinking these men do not have self-respect. You chickened out and don't want to admit …

That’s a pathetic assumption. If both parties have self-respect, there’s no real upper hand no matter who approaches first. And why would I be awful to someone especially the one I really like? I just was good with having them as my friends. And no, those crushes were far from Chads, and it was even confirmed by two non-bluepilled PPD guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/25 06:20 PM

I don't think her thinking the guy is not interested is as critical. "Oh wow" is a hard fall. I looked up the guys I fell hard for like a decade later too. Like how Chad supposedly can do anything, after that "oh wow" moment, the window can even be semi-permanent. They could have pursued me a decade after, and I still might have said yes. The problematic part I think is that women often hide these thing, and men may never know. Personally, I think I hid the spark damn well. I probably would have…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/25 04:53 PM

What u/OMWSpuds said. But that being said, even if the guy is a bit out of shape, I would always choose face over body. I am fine as long as the body is within a reasonable range imv. The range doesn't include super skinny, but it includes slightly overweight.

So I've been thinking about warm approaches for a bit, and I think I agree with an ex-PPD member. He told me the timing to approach a woman is once you see a sparkle in her eye or something when dealing with you, not before. There can be times when a guy goes from neutral to "oh wow". Guys here seem to believe the "oh wow" can disappear very easily, but I actually think that's when you "give it a chance" at a neutral stage.

I think there's two possible alternative explanations. You either meet or do not meet the looks thresholds depending on your body fat. I probably only feel responsive desire (minus towards musicians who I can be interested in going on dates right away, not have sex), but I certainly do have looks thresholds. You are mostly dealing with women who do feel spontaneous desire so you project their attraction onto other women.

The latter balances me out better even though it is less comfortable. Honestly, although my case is a bit more severe than others, dating someone like me wasn't going to lead anywhere. Many of us need someone to make us care more about things we wouldn't care about if we were by ourselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 07:07 PM

Well I don’t really see it as just complacency. Neither of us put our relationship front and center and we both had pretty busy careers at the time. And we just understood what came first to us, and we both would find it understandable. So it was somewhat like an open relationship in the sense that we were both alright with less conventionally accepted relationship practices. Imagine if you forgot the bday of a woman you are dating. The topic would likely be revisited forever or you could even g…

I’ve dated both. Too similar to me was comfortable but neither of us felt compelled to really focus on the relationship enough cause neither of us really needed to feel cared for and we both understood it too well. There was one year when we forgot each other’s bdays. Now on the other hand, I am dating a guy very different from myself, and I know I would never hear the end of it if I missed his bday, so I do put in more care.

Men tend to like hyper masculine looks in men, but women don’t feel similarly then it is male gaze. Women may like a bit more androgynous looks in men, and a lot of men may not get it. Then it is female gaze. Height is not a female gaze cause even guys recognize tall guys in a positive manner. Not that they are sexually attracted to the tall guy, but they acknowledge his height being impressive.

I’ve never dated a guy with a “good physique” although I’ve never dated an obese guy either. I’ve always been the fit one in almost every relationship. I’ve dated from 5’7 and 6’4. Anyone outside of the range, I am not interested in. So far, nothing too crazy, but I do require quite a bit more when it comes to face unless the guy is a musician. You can have sex with someone without being obligated to marry them. You can have sex with someone bevause you like them, not knowing if its going to be for ever as long as no prgnancy is involved you protect yourself from diseases. So there's no real safe way to protect against pregnancy 100% even if someone is to take the modern sex positivity pill which I did not take. I ultimately think my personal pleasure is no…

Options based on a lie are not real options. Yeah I think so too. If men only want a woman for sex, those are not the woman's options. To me someone who cares about marriage too much is a redflag Yeah, you are free to think that. I am with a guy who thinks even entertaining a date without wanting to marry the woman is degenerate. Who is desirable in the market doesnt mean anything. It does. It gives people more options, and often more quality options too. Not ratio-wise, but just number-wise. It is on the desirable ones to vet through them, and choose what kind of combination of traits you want amongst the quality options. This applies to both men and women. Personally i cant marry someone if i dont know if shes any good in bed. That's you. And I don't date guys like that. They get their options to choose from, and well …

Different men do different things. Desirable men could even discard the woman they found perfectly fine when she grows old. With women who were beside them at their lowest, they could even discard for their desirability levels not matching up anymore. Some men want a main chick and many side chicks and so on. The thing is, regardless of gender, when people are desirable, they have a lot of people “line up” and among those exist quite a few desirable ones too. If the woman does not have multiple …

https://np.reddit.com/r/PurplePillDebate/s/mDqczCremJ There’s desirable men who have principles. Women need to measure up in desirability to be with those guys though. Some people meet after they become desirable. My dad knew he would have had no chance with my mom if he wasn’t already set up for success, and he didn’t really have an issue with the fact. I think it heavily depends on whether the guy has a regular co-ed social group or not. And it happens so that more people are more isolated these days than before. My boyfriend said his single friends only hang out with their own gender, and that’s the difference between them and his partnered up friends. He finds that there’s no other noticeable difference among his friends at least. Dating is harder for men when the man is either neurotic or overly passive or both. I think that’s the issue of …

I don't think you understood what I've written. I don't. I vet by seeing what men do when they are desirable, and I date men that I already know. I believe some men are polygamous. That's actually exactly why I think it is better to go for men with options. I get to know how they act GIVEN the options. Of course, the woman has to measure up to the guy to even attempt that. Power reveals who the person is, and I prefer knowing who the person is. Like how some PPD peeps said people who lose weight are preparing to leave their current partner, or may monkey branch to the next partner. With fat people, you have less of a guarantee of what cou…

ChatGPT fixed the paragraph issue for you. Do most women know that men are polygamous? When a man is either, rich, famous or good looking (above average) they all lean towards polygamy. In other words, they are as faithful as their options. Examples of men like these are celebrities, kings, emperors, influencers, CEOs. Some exceptions may exist, but they are very few and almost can be overlooked. Those who seem to be monogamous are either average or below average looking and they are not rich or…

Honestly, if one is desirable enough, it is more than possible to fish a league down or so and still be attracted to your partner. Then you get to optimize for more traits that you want in a person. Not everyone has to pick the most superficially desirable person to still be attracted.

In my culture, successful women get points deducted in the matchmaking system apparently. I was also told by a guy who was pursuing me that I shouldn’t study as hard cause that’s hard for guys to deal with. HE was pursuing ME. Maybe tell him money could be the only thing on your mind during your wedding and that you might not be a happy bride if you spent too much on your wedding. Try to find a budget that you'd both be okay with and consider less conventional options. To preface, I am not advocating for men to make the first move at all times, but I am only trying to explain potential contributing factors. Women are more passive in nature. When they "approach", they tend to show IOI's, not actually make a direct approach. I think this may have something to do with their risk averseness which we could potentially attribute to women's higher neuroticism in general. Apparently when women do initiate, they tend to have high assertiveness (which is said to be a fa…

So here’s the thing. I said earlier that I believe people are more likely show their true selves when the stakes are low, and when it is not in short periods of time. Cold approaching creates the exact scenario for the person to potentially hide oneself. We can either vet for personality or go for excellent surface level traits first. I think it is easier to go from personality to surface level traits than the other way around. One needs to figure out what they are going for, and the best way to…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/25 02:31 AM

Nah. I think that’s how men and women end up complaining so much about the other gender. They are sticking their (hypothetical) dick in crazy before vetting cause what’s on the outside is appealing. I take vetting very seriously. I can wait and did wait until I was convinced it could work until I even considered dating someone. The downside is that you can’t realistically get to know too many people well enough, so using this approach limits your dating pool significantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 10:53 PM
5

Yeah and I didn’t really have difficulties being attracted to enough men within my social circle. People who meet my looksbar aren’t rare to the point that I need to wish upon a star that a good looking stranger would somehow turn out to be a virtuous person.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 01:50 PM
8

Looks not being the only criteria is what I am saying. I think people tend to show their truer selves when they don’t desire anything in particular, basically when the stakes are low. And it is rather easy to control oneself for short periods of time, so I don’t believe in casually dating to vet the guy. If I only selected for looks and just allowed anything to come at me, honestly I think I would have to bear responsibility for those results. I don’t think I am THAT selective in looks btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/25 01:40 PM
17

I don’t mind asking a guy out on a date, but I don’t believe in cold approaching. I don’t think the idea of vetting a stranger well is very realistic. If you could also guarantee that I would somehow be able to learn about him instantly, sure. What you listed above is too surface level, so that could be possible, but I also have to look at one’s character. Choosing better is almost only possible with warm approaches imo.

When you divide up the bell curve (normal distribution using bounded range normalized percentile, instead of the standard cumulative) by the horizontal distance (let's say the horizontal axis goes from 0 to 10 like how Reddit often likes to rate), and if you calculate the aggregate area (percentile) of the curve in 0.5 increments, we get the below table. x Normalized Percentile (%) 0.0 0.00 0.5 0.21 1.0 0.69 1.5 1.66 2.0 3.47 2.5 6.56 3.0 11.40 3.5 18.32 4.0 27.36 4.5 38.18 5.0 50.00 5.5 61.82 6…

I think we are able to show our morality when it is challenged, not when things are easy. One doesn't get to claim virtue like that. I think we are told that we are good so much that we come to see our actions as good when we have never proved our goodness. We ended up justifying ourselves so much that self-centeredness is now seen as moral by many.

I think it is fair to argue that morality could also be about standing by one's words even at the cost of oneself. Just because more people have come to prioritize themselves, the morality of it doesn't really change. Normalization is only normalization.

I didn't think reuniting online counted as meeting online, but with the where have you met your partner stats, apparently my couple also belongs in the meeting online group. Cold approach isn't really a straight up wanna fuck, but more of approaching a stranger, having a small talk and getting her number.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/25 05:17 PM

Well some claim that only Chads get action on OLD and Chads also get action through cold approach. Who approaches may be the question. A quick google search is telling me that around 10% of couples in the US meet via dating apps, not online, just dating apps. My couple too is actually belongs in the met via online statistics but we just happened to reunite when I reactivated my facebook account. It apparently still counts as meeting online.

OLD is a cold approach in the sense that people are attempting to date complete strangers. A lot of people also seem to think that a lack of success on OLD is a form of rejection, not so different from ONLY the guy is interested in initiating an interaction. the female is usually just going about her business, and did not go out to meet anyone, whereas the pua is going out there just to cold approach The only difference is that people are able to assume there's a greater population of single peo…

/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/25 03:47 PM

This is too general. People have too different circumstances that I find it more helpful to talk to people who are in a similar standing and have found the success I am looking for. As a woman, I would not listen to lesbians nor gay men. I have found my mom's advice to be the most helpful.

I think OLD is a variation of cold approach. And in that sense, cold approach is more relevant than ever. But it ain’t really helping the dating sphere imo. I think it is so much easier for me to feel something for someone within my proximity and start dating, than to have a select pool of men I am trying to feel something towards.

By the sounds of it, it sounds like you subscribe to No Pill. On this sub, when we talk about red pill, it is in relation to TRP, as stated in the subreddit's about section. The name Red Pill is a branding tactic. It builds identity and belonging through the illusion of insight. If you really feel that you are doing critical thinking and contextual analysis with no bias, no pill should suffice. To me, it seems like you attempting to hijack the already hijacked metaphor from The Matrix.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 08:29 PM
5

If the descriptive nature is too rigid and actually does not allow for honest exploration with multifactorial categorization, there’s no point in conducting studies. TRP rarely specifies conditions or scope which are required in research. Working with a predetermined set of beliefs as TRP calls it a framework, instead of a hypothesis to be tested and potentially falsified is the antithesis of genuine research. I like genuine inquiry, not ideology.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/25 11:51 AM
23

One big issue I have with TRP is that it relies on single factor analysis too often which does lead to overgeneralization and ends up sounding stupid. Multifactorial analysis or contextual design is needed, but nooo. I myself talk a lot in generalizations, and recognize the general female and male tendencies, but I refuse to associate myself with TRP due to its failure to use multifactorial analysis, when human behavior is multifactorial and would be more useful to use more categories. It probab…

Another predictor of infidelity was attractiveness. A person's own attractiveness was negatively associated with infidelity among women but not men (statistically insignificant) - meaning less attractive women were more likely to have an affair. A partner's attractiveness was negatively associated with infidelity among men but not women (statistically insignificant) - meaning men were more likely to be unfaithful when their partners were less attractive. https://www.business-standard.com/article…

I am of the opinion that maturity needs to be defined differently for each gender or even each person. To me, a big part of maturity is to round out your vices sufficiently to be compatible/tolerable with enough number of people. If a person has a trait that makes it difficult to get along with others, that trait may need to be worked on so that it manifests in a more acceptable form.

Overly ambitious people don't actually make the best partners for most people. That much ambition has to be met with that much flexibility. I alone have too much ambition so I need a flexible partner. I describe myself to be emotionally constipated and I chose a guy with much higher emotional intelligence than myself for the sake of the future child. I honestly thought I'd end up traumatizing my kid, and that wasn't going to be the worst thing in the world as long as the kid doesn't end up a los…

Do they not even have two brain cells to rub together? Just because abusive Chads get women and incels don't, it still doesn't mean all women would choose abusive Chads. A pool existing for abusive Chads is not the same as all women going for abusive Chads. Incels could be incels because they are not wanted by anyone. That part could be right.

I think the word feminism has been stolen by some crazy activists who are trying to justify their viewpoints with a label that originally carried soundness and positive connotation. It is somewhat of their marketing tactic to talk down to others who don’t agree with them. Now the word has been tainted by the ones who don’t actually believe in equality but entitlement.

I say this only because you are likely to be able to apply this method. So if you are desirable enough that you can comfortably aim for almost anyone within your proximity, it is much better to use the irl circle method. OLD pool is not the best pool to be fishing in. Irl circle intentions and pre-vetting are heaps better. It is not really a numbers game trying out randoms when you have the desirability to pick and choose from everyone around you and potentially from the past too.

I don't like lankiness either, but the classic aesthetically ideal male physique like Michelangelo's David tends to occur the most frequently within the 5'10 to 6'2 range. A lanky 5'11 means he was probably underdeveloped. The risk of lankiness isn't supposed to be that high for 5'11 men.

I think women tend to focus a lot on the nature of the attention they are getting, since they often have troubles figuring out if the guy is only in it for sex or not. However, I acknowledge that men have to face more rejections as men tend to be the pursuers, and shyness and general sociability affecting men a lot.

People talk about mate value a lot, but fail to recognize that in order for a market to sustain itself, both genders need to want the top tier and will be as selective as possible. A market just does not work out if either one of the genders is as wholesome as they claim.

So there's this problem too. The way a dude acts around his bros can be very different from the way he would act around a girl. A guy could just act chill and try to fit in with the bros especially when he has less say in the group, and how guys hang could also be pretty mindless. Friendships don't carry the same level of risk or investment as relationships. You don't need to show that much about yourself to just hang out with people, but that's not really the case in relationships.

I think "Where are all the good men" is more spoken among the older crowd. "Where are all the good men" can be answered by most good men already having been taken off the market. But the truth is, if they are good themselves, they must be able to recognize the good ones who are already paired up. It should make them solemn, not resentful. This case is a prime example of being neurotic leading to a lack of trust, not trust and being neurotic coexisting. The gravity of the situation can trigger such neurotic needs, but that doesn't mean it should be called something different in this particular discourse. This isn't about framing things palatably, but identifying the underlying motivations and implications. “Trust but verify” is a euphemism for normal discourse, not this PPD one.

ACS is a robust and high-quality data. I’m not questioning the reliability of the data source or the sample size itself. My concern is about the interpretation of the data when it reflects a phenomenon with a low base rate, not the sample size. Making generational claims from an outcome that applies to less than 20% of young men still risks overgeneralization. Even when drawn from a large, reliable dataset, low-prevalence phenomena pose interpretive challenges. The risk isn't about statistical n…

It was big, but how it was used was still way more balanced. When I was younger, OLD was seen as a loser thing people who could not date normally used. More people were expected to have lives primarily offline. I think we def had the advantage of having the opportunity to be better socialized.

It was not a matter of attraction, but an alignment of values, understanding of the cultures we both experienced, and expectations. I would actually argue that to compete at the top percentile, access to the top SMV of the other gender is more genetically determined for the women, while men have to hit way more right marks without it being completely genetic. The most desirable women generally choose a good portfolio that accounts for mutable traits too. The most desirable men generally choose based on immutable genetics a lot more. I am not trying to moralize this. Biology is what drives us to determine SMV/desirability per…

SMV calculation itself is asymmetric for the genders. Youth matters more for women. Height matters almost only for the men. Men here even like to claim that low n-count matters a lot more for the women and so on. SMV percentile match after your whole portfolio is evaluated by the metrics the other gender cares about is relevant. SMV is not about some 1:1 comparison of the same variable.

I think they could have enough desirability to simply cheat if we disregard the consequences, but don't have enough leverage to seek polygyny upfront. these kinds of men are the ones that get complained about by both men and by women. Probably. How Stacies act seems to often be accepted by men as their God-given right. My last comment was to oppose the OP. I am just talking about what could allow for polygyny. /r/PurplePillDebate23/05/25 05:50 PM

Well, people also have the option to mate down to gain more leverage. They just don't want to mate down to gain the leverage they need for less symmetric dynamics. Six figures usually can't buy one such a leverage. They just can't afford to do it the real way. The cultures where they had polygyny approved of it when the men could actually afford it upfront.

Depends. I think at age 29, the dating norms/needs could shift a bit that it may even be understandable for people who didn’t have issues before to have some level of confusion too. I have a friend in his mid 30’s like that.

Thank you. The big obstacle to actually making something like this work in modern times is that such mindset has to be widespread for it to be feasible for many, not just that it is not taught to kids. Delayed gratification or restraint probably isn't in our nature. Even Asia is losing a lot of its older practices.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/25 07:55 PM

Not really. Men are more likely to adopt a dual mating strategy or have differing thresholds for sex and investment. I just think neither gender should moralize their own biology anymore, and try to understand the biology behind why each gender act the way they do. Both genders want the other gender to cater to the opposite biology, calling their own more fair or virtuous or whatever.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/25 07:08 PM

Yeah I am saying the latter could be a better equivalence. The former has to be different due to the biological differences anyway.

Oh they were serious. Don't force your viewpoints on others. We were just understanding of each other's circumstances, and high pressure careers often require such partners especially if you don't want to deplete someone emotionally for you not being there. We valued compatibility, but were realistic when we learned our lives were unlikely to converge. Us being understanding of the circumstances is a form of love and respect. What makes you think the first relationship or the second relationship had to have that much investment from any of the participants? We all dated each other cause at the time, not one of us would put relationship over our own success, and we all liked that about each other and found that comfortable. We did not want high maintenance partners or high investment relationships. With the second one, we even forgot each other's birthdays, and we both understood each other. That's the kind of careers…

I agree that women in general don’t seem to be happy when such thing happens. However men here seem to claim that they would not be insulted and would actually be flattered by women asking them out even if he deems her unattractive. It is possible to change. I always chose based on what I was serious about at the time of getting with a man. I first chose a guy who was serious about his studies when I was serious about my studies. I then chose a guy who was career obsessed when I was career obsessed. Then came the guy who was intellectually competent when I was craving for an intellectual connection. I think competence stack may outperform status stack. Status stack is often preferred by women who are more concerned about their own status (from what I can tell at least anyway so purely from my own observations), but competence stack is respected even by the women who don't lack anything at all. But I have not read a single study on this particular thing so no scientific evidence whatsoever.

/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/25 07:26 PM

Female celebrities often seem to go for athletes who have an athletic stack. In the wild, at least from what I see, they tend to go for decent looking guys who have a competence stack. I think there's a looks threshold but men usually have to play with more optimized portfolios rather than a trait spike.

I think undesirable traits that actually register fall under this category. I only care for one's virginity when it is a testament to one's values. Celibacy can either be a conscious choice rooted in personal values or a circumstance. One doesn't get to play the virtue card when it was due to a circumstance, not conviction.

Humans generally aren't virtuous, and biology isn't supposed to be pretty or indiscriminate. A part of the big misunderstanding is that males have a dual mating strategy (basically commitment vs. sex issue) due to the biological differences. PPD is mostly both genders trying to moralize their own biology, and wanting the other gender to cater to their biology, not one's own. That is not how things work. We like to think we are better than our biology, but eh.

I think there might not be 1:1 equivalent. However, desirability portfolio for males and females are stacked with different traits and with differing degrees of importance. SMP is about the exchange of composite value. It is not about finding 1:1 comparable trait.

Yes to replaceable but here's the thing... Especially at the start of the dating phase, you do need to have the time to invest. It could also be seen as the preview of the relationship. There's not much invested into the relationship so it is a lot more fragile too.

The thing is, looksmatching first happens usually on genetic health markers, not body fat level unless one is obese enough. Fitness is good and all, but it isn’t as much of a boost or a bottleneck within a reasonable range. You can do some research into this. But if you are getting the women you want, good for you. You probably have the genetic health markers for it.

The willingness to drop the term doesn't mean you are willing to drop the idea that women seek for better and men don't. It isn't a semantics issue, but simple market theory universities teach in first year econ. Women are just more calibrated than men probably cause of their inability to adopt a dual mating strategy. Men's failure to optimize is a display of miscalibration, not their undiscriminating nature. A woman's age is such an easy marker of fertility, and it is measured in absolute terms…

Women's biology requires a "strong" man for the sake of protection. So women's sexuality gets activated when they are reminded of the strength. On the other hand, male sexuality gets activated when they are reminded of signs of fertility. That's why women lose a lot of power in the SMP when they get old. Again, this is not hypergamy, but what makes up desirability in each gender. You seem to not understand how hypergamy is used even casually. You are trying to use it as a catch-all excuse. Hyper…

Physical cues of fertility are biologically universal, and men’s preferences are more concentrated around those markers than you might be willing to admit. Across cultures, male attraction consistently centers on youth and signs of genetic health which all rooted in evolutionary pressures tied to fertility. What’s often framed as diverse male taste still operates well within the boundaries of genetic stability indicators. Features like averageness (which in scientific literature, refers to morph…

I’ve actually been digging into the question of male investment baseline lately. I have found no data that holds up under scrutiny, not because I’m trying to be biased, but because much of what’s out there is either based on rating scales rather than percentiles, or it’s too distorted by short-term mating signals (due to where the data was collected). Women’s mate choice tends to be more consciously strategic than we often acknowledge. That's why women are sometimes considered to be the calculat…

Males have different thresholds for how much they are willing to invest. Since males want access to sex, some even dumpster dive with zero investment. This male behavior distorts which women are being chosen for life. When we do look at lifetime commitment, SMP is not a charity for neither women nor men. Men stop being generous with the ring. I am not moralizing this in any manner fyi. Males have the biological capability to have this dual mating strategy. It has nothing to do with virtue, but b…

Males have a dual mating strategy. If we are only talking about lifetime commitment, I am not too sure about the difference. And we must not forget male investment threshold is different from male engagement threshold while for females they are the same. Only desiring sexual engagement is generally a male thing and it adds a lot of noise to the signal.

Women’s mate selection tends to be relative to themselves like “richer than me” or “taller than me”. Men often optimize using absolute standards like young and attractive. The fact that women use a relative frame doesn’t make their behavior hypergamous. Hypergamy in both evolutionary literature and TRP refers to strictly mating up. Women trading up in certain traits is just strategic mating. Men who fail to understand their own market value, or misuse their currency often end up taking the best …

Women picking and choosing which traits they are paying for with their own desirability as a currency is a conscious trade off, a value exchange. They are consciously dating down in certain areas to pay for what they want, just like men are okay with dating down in some aspects. You’re conflating trait-specific optimization with hypergamy. Again, this is being ingenuous to label only one side as hypergamy when it is just universal market behavior. Also, men being that generous is only true for n…

SMP theory collapses if we don’t believe all the market participants of both genders want the same top goods. Men and women may value different things in each other, but that doesn’t mean both genders aren’t wanting the best one they can get out of the market. Only calling out women’s wants in men is disingenuous when there’s desirable women according to men’s desires too.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 04:16 AM

Why are you inventing a new goal? The goal was already set at 2k. Getting more would be exceeding expectations. Settling by definition only happens when you accept less than what you were aiming for.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/25 03:25 AM

They don't. SMP theory only holds up if both genders want the same top goods. Attraction is not sufficiently relative to one's value. It is more about the absolute value for SMP/leagues to be true.

There needs to be a bit more nuance. The entire concept of SMP only works if everyone wants the same rare-tier goods, and the real desires are not relative to one's own mate value. Any woman/man not being rare enough are actually being settled for, not "chosen". There was a study that suggested unattractive women cheat more (but men's own attractiveness did not have a statistically significant impact), but men with unattractive female partners cheat more (but women's partner's attractiveness did…

Even you said it is the Asian fixation. Hence, it is the feature that matters the most actually the strongest determining feature for your looks tier. It really ain't the eyes. Even in Asian clinical scoring, the nose gets about 25% of weight and the total eye zone (not just size but the angle and other traits of the eyes too) gets 18% of weight.

Autism is more than introversion. I am an extroverted woman who is happily dating an introverted man, but I care very much about the ability to think flexibly often in an abstract manner. Generally speaking without getting political, I don't think the schooling system was necessarily made FOR girls. It was made when we had involved parents. With uninvolved parents though, it just happened that girls were easier to manage. I don't think reforming the schooling system is the answer, as we have seen boys thrive in the same system. I feel that the discourse is asking the schools to do too much. Parents need to start raising their own kids again.

That doctor's son wasn't Asian by any measure. He was probably raised traditionally in a Christian household though with very involved parents. I really think so much of it is the parents and the general coddling mentality.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 08:48 PM

Acquaintances too? I guess? Would depend on how you would define a friend. Just someone who knows me well enough, are already fond of me and vice versa.

I don't know how I feel about this whole discourse. So I am Asian, and we are kinda known to do well academically regardless of gender. I think a lot has to do with parents' emphasis on education and how involved they are. In all of the schools I attended even in the West, boys made formidable competition academically. There was a non-Asian boy who's dad was a doctor and he excelled in pretty much EVERYTHING. I think it could be a lack of involvement of the parents and just parents being alright…

2 is not always about leagues. A woman needs to make herself special and irreplaceable somehow. Being in a similar league superficially, but being perceived to possess something rare is also a possibility. I kinda think it is a chicken or an egg problem. Women who gave away sex easily got male attention a lot more easily. Men chased this easy access to sex. Then a lot of women added sex to their package to be competitive in the market. Some realized they were able to get attention with just givi…

But if you want to maximize your chances of landing a high character woman for a LTR, you better focus on finding her in your 20s. I agree with this wholeheartedly. But many people of both genders seem to want to challenge their own mate value for too long and miss their best chance at a LTR. When they are challenging their mate value, sane wholesome people are pairing up. Then what's left on the market are the ones who didn't learn to be content with what they could get, and are too superficial…

Actually a lot of women have much higher standards than this. 6’, 6”, 6-figure income, objectively attractive. My standards are below that. This is what she wrote in another comment. I don't think OP realizes there were enough women who didn't have such standards, and the majority of the men she is describing are already taken by those women. Wholesome people who learned fast enough are mostly gone from the market. She is late to the party. I don't think her being alright with men in their 40's …

It wasn't average at best. Average zone height but still above the mean height-ish, cannot be fat, without children and good character. That man is a rare commodity in that age range imo. One's own value could be negligible if the answer to "where's all the good men/women" is "already taken". There's just lower ratio of them, more people to go through, more people that you need to vet correctly. Not impossible, but harder. It is exactly the same as you describe but gender reversed. It gets a lot more difficult for them to find each other.

You aren't exactly aiming too high, but most men who fit your description are already taken or are with a kid. I literally know just one guy meeting your criteria who is single. He recently got out of a LTR.

But can we assume that they were content and knew what they wanted though? A drawn out relationship means that much more investment into the relationship, and they threw away all that "sunk cost". That could be even more concerning in a way. If they knew what they wanted, they would have stayed forever, but after years, they decide it isn't right for them. I actually agree on the differences in male and female general tendencies that work like a spectrum. However, a leader who has not earned the respect and submission can always be challenged. It is a place that is earned. People capable of leading do end up in that role on their own. Giving submission in itself is being convenient. It is similar to feeding ugly women's ego and wooing her by calling her hot. For already married couples, yes, it could be the only fix cause they didn't marry a leade…

I don’t mean convenient as cooperative. I literally mean convenient. RPW is a guideline to women who lack leverage in the dating market or want that added convenience to mean more than what it does. I don't agree on RPW on many levels, so I am leaving my comment here. As long as we are biological creatures, youth and beauty matter in attraction. However, it is important to make sure you are valued for other things too other than just youth and beauty. Make sure your man values you for your intrinsic value rather than just your superficial, and of course, you should have enough intrinsic value to begin with. Genuinely, don't have sex with someone that you can't trust. In this case, he trusted her words too much. Like my mom taught me, don't have sex until you can be responsible for a child, and only with a man you want to have a family with. Sex is a much bigger responsibility than a lot of modernized people make it out to be.

Foreign women do tend to adjust their expectations to the western standards a lot. I for sure would not have chosen a traditional minded man from my home country. The problem is when the women choose to live a certain way and want certain attitudes from men en masse. Men might need to readjust as well if they don't want to make their dating pool even smaller.

I often make the distinction between western and men from my home country when I’m speaking in DM. There’s huge differences in how they perceive women and what’s normalized. Conventional beauty standards exist. Facial harmony, balance and ratios are often talked about to really understand how most people perceive beautiful. You can even look up the golden ratio used in architecture. There seems to be fairly universal agreement on what our brains perceive to be harmonious or beautiful. There's subjective aspects of beauty, but beauty can also be objective enough to be studied and be of interest of many people's. Enough people believe there's something to it.

I don't think the grass is greener on the other side. Women just need better vetting skills than men in general. If women stay at home, they genuinely think they could do better than the man if she had the same opportunity very often. Therefore what you are proposing does not satisfy hypergamy. Young people have more circumstantial virgins that just didn't lose their virginity yet. Intentional virgins exist. Many of them most likely won't be kissless though.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 08:00 PM

I wasn't talking about you. Virgin has a very strong connotation imo especially at her age. And your dating market shifts quite a bit depending on how prudish you are. And her n-count makes her an extreme outlier in the market she probably wants to date in.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 07:18 PM

In my culture too. I think.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 07:11 PM

Just don’t go for guys who would prefer prudes. Your n-count has initially suggested that you could be a prude. You just probably aren’t, and that’s that. Nothing wrong with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 07:10 PM

The interesting thing I’ve learned in my culture is that while those clubbing people do become bfs/gfs/husbands/wives, it is almost always a horrible idea for them to meet each other at the club for the first time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 07:06 PM

I have about half your kiss count and my LTR count is about the same. It isn’t just about the count is what I am saying.

It is just a classic prisoner’s dilemma. In this scenario, keep playing the game, become so attractive that you can take yourself off the game and still win or dumpster dive (basically take advantage of smv), or just quit playing the game. It is what it is. I don’t like the current dating norms for my own reasons, but an individual cannot change the whole market.

Hygiene, weirdo to not meet them. Grooming, I think the vast majority of people should take more advantage of. It is way beyond the realm of “reasonable” or “acceptable” to me. It is totally something to be utilized. Just “get a haircut” is not that effective imv. There are styling methods to trick our eyes like with optical illusions, and these methods can balance out your features up to a certain point. This can really help unless you have significantly detrimental feature beyond balancing out…

I think the more involved the father is, the more likely it is for him to give such advice. And no, the advice was never to hate all men. The advice was for not being naive and to not make stupid decisions. Mine also taught me about humankind's (both genders) common lack of virtue and our cardinal sins though. A lot of women on this sub emphasise how no <25 year old women would be interested in a +20 year age gap relationship. I don't say the above, but I say this instead. So the question is, would these same women be better off if they had married older men (of similar attraction to men they are currently attracted to) in their early/mid 20s? That is a question they would have to answer for themselves. Me personally, I think I would be too depressed to even have a family if my value was at the bottom…

In the country that I am from, men are okay with casually dating plastics, but not marrying them. Most men just see makeup as a given, since it is so commonly worn. However there could be men who seem to need to approve of a woman’s looks without makeup, and I definitely know at least one. He is good looking himself though.

While I agree that physical prime matters, unfortunately what you call baggage is what often makes people of both genders less naive and keep them from less desirable outcomes for themselves that would end up repeating stuff that gave them baggage in the first place. It is absolutely easier to be shitty with more naive partners, and many people do target romantic interests this way.

Still strangers regardless. Strangers can always mask especially when they have something to gain out of it. The most reliable way to vet is by meeting someone in the wild and observing the person in different situations when the perceived stakes are lower.

The biological link matters very little in many families while family that you choose can save you. It really depends on the people involved. While you can't choose what kind of shitty people that could be in your family that you are born into, you can vet for people you choose to become family with. People should learn to choose better.

Some men really do only see you for your looks and will want commitment if your looks are way up there. But you could screw up your life by choosing a man who only values you for your looks and youth, and that was my mom, an old Stacy’s lesson. What men value about you matters, not just that they value you.

Many women convince themselves that their value is intrinsic, but deep down, they fear that much of their worth has been tethered to their youth and physical attractiveness, a currency that fades faster than they want to admit. My mom has always taught me that I need to look for a man who value me for more than my youth and my looks, and that I have to have such a value. I was thinking just now how PPD often talks about n-0 women have the lowest rate of divorce and all, but I do not really see n-0 as a sign of mere non-promiscuity but an unconventional trait of people who have some kind of different beliefs. I was listening to a song today and I was reminded of a lesson I learned. I sometimes say on PPD that I look for a guy who is more virtuous than myself. I once thought I could be the better person in a relationship and keep the relationship going with me being more gracious. I was wrong. Human flaws know no bounds especially when it comes to lack of virtue. Relationships only prosper when both people are virtuous.

When my lips were super chapped, using moisturizing products beforehand worked better than lip balms. I used something like a night cream that has both water and oil then sealed it with lip balm. And drink more water I guess. If your chapped lips don't improve with this, I am not too sure.

I agree with this comment, but under 5'7 instead of under 5'6. I think humans are able to sense what is out of the norm instinctively, and 5'7 is within one standard deviation from the mean height, but 5'6 isn't. 5'7 should not immediately register as short and make too much of an impression, but I think once you are noticeably short, it does start to register. Anyway, I never consciously had or set a height preference but the shortest men I've been into were 5'7.

I am not actually that against my family setting me up. My parents were arranged with veto powers and had a lifelong marriage. But basically, I am required to get my family's approval in order to marry someone. I don't have a problem with it. I trust their wisdom and that they have my best interests at heart while also respecting me. I think you have to have a pretty healthy relationship with your parents to be okay with something like this though. Some parents can truly suck.

There's a minority of women who are okay with dating much older men, and successful enough men are going to be able to bag these minority of women. They can both end up satisfied. However this doesn't mean that these much older men are going to appeal to everyone. I think low-n women are likely to be cautious around sex and have a difficult time dealing with the current dating climate where it is heavily sexualized and feel pressured in regards to sex. Also, it is easy to lock yourself out of the game when other women are providing sex, but you aren't. You were raised religious right? I think I might have read that in one of your comments but please correct me if I am wrong. So you know how PPD often sites virginal women having dramatically lower divorce rates. I think (religious) people who don't prioritize sex could have a much higher OR different threshold for what they would break up a family over in general. I think you could be a bit too religious to understand sex positive people.

although I think the average age for Asian countries are probably inflated a bit, since their greater pressure to appear more social conservative. I was actually surprised by the numbers provided for my country of origin and my bf's country of origin for being too low. We are both East Asians but are from different countries. We should have way more conservative outliers that do drive the average way up, and kids who are serious about their studies don't really get the opportunity to fool around…

I had very strict parenting, and so did my boyfriend with emphasis on what's "right". What's interesting is that both our families managed to raise us without rejecting old fashioned values which a lot of younger people do nowadays. I think it is due to our family members caring a lot about decency. We both have things we are proud of and we want to preserve. I think the families with members who are more self-centered without decency or gratitude have kids who deny their roots.

What's your opinion on availability then? Is there evidence that says even within the upper class, there exist women who go for macho masculinity? If so, it could be a matter of availability of different types of masculinity, rather than just utility impacting attraction to that degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/24 02:05 AM

I think you could be focusing too much on utility, when attraction is very often illogical. I think it could be more about availability and perception of masculinity or what's attractive within the social class she belongs in.

There are two different factors to this, one being an economically driven factor and the other being masculine/feminine desires. I think women's decision to not get with poorer men could be very economically driven, and with having a lot of options especially in her prime, it makes very little sense to choose a poor one over a rich one all else being equal. I think most women in her prime who do opt for a relationship with a man who makes less are more likely to be okay with the arrangement, tha…

You can call me a religious nut or just think I am being ridiculous. But I would open up the Bible and learn what kind of person the Bible teaches people to be. While trying to be a decent person, you will face temptations and see your own failings. I would not go for an asian as a white dude personally. Cause the old fashioned asian unicorns I would like would not go for a white dude. /r/PurplePillDebate22/09/24 09:41 AM

They are in the extreme minority, as is my couple mostly due to us living in the West. Asian Americans just have slightly higher age range for it really getting out of the norm. It is either extremely devoutly religious for Westerners or abnormally old fashioned for Asians usually.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 11:27 PM

Okay I did some further digging, and it says SD is closer to 3 years than 2 years in recent data. That was dumb. Adjusting the numbers according to that, Average (mean): 17 years, +1 SD: 20 years, +2 SD: 23 years I still don't know for sure, but yeah at 23 yo, I think it is safe to say that it will be an out of the norm experience speaking from more experience than statistics.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 11:24 PM

If I am asked to give a number, I think statistically. +1 SD (19 years for Americans, 20.5 years for Asian Americans): Approximately 84% of the population loses their virginity at or before this age. +2 SD (21 years for Americans, 22.5 years for Asian Americans): Approximately 97.5% of the population loses their virginity at or before this age. Ppd had a discussion on that on daily thread. About the time most people get their first job being the last call before leftover market begins was pretty convincing. It gets worse overtime as sane ones get paired up and are never released back to the market.

I don’t believe that I am able to vet complete strangers. It is rather easy to hide who you are for limited durations for a short period of time. /r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 09:12 PM

Yeah then YOUR reason is THAT severe to at least get you to the age that you are without having sex. Probably not going to be the case for a girl who decides to have a secret hoe phase a little after 20.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 08:33 PM

It is highly unlikely that you'd actually be able to vet a stranger too well. It is naive to think that one would be able to do so. You can only know one is a better man when you've had a prolonged interaction with him in the wild especially when the stakes are lower. It isn't that difficult to be nice for short durations for a limited period of time when you have something you want. She didn't pick a better guy, but what she did was attempting to do so while overestimating her ability to vet st…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 08:24 PM

The answer should be making her a severe enough outlier as her age progresses. 20+ reason is not going to be as severe as 25+ reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 08:12 PM

I'd say 20 could still very well be a circumstantial virgin. Older virgins have something that makes them that much of an outlier. Honestly, when screening for female virgins, "But why?" is the question to be answered to figure out what makes the person a real odd ball. It is not a search for traces of a hoe phase, but a search for what makes the person odd.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/24 07:59 PM

People are really bad liars in general. Plus, being a virgin shouldn't matter that much unless you come from a sex negative culture or want to marry someone who has more conservative values.

Most aren't good enough singers? And I don't think Asian languages generally count and especially not the one that you should have picked up from your parents.

Either I like the guy or don’t. There’s no “making up” for whatever I deem undesirable physical or not unless you are talking about settling. Attraction doesn’t work like that. 5’7” is perfectly fine with me though.

Many of my elders have a lot of experience with people, and many of them got to places in their lives that are impossible to get to without being good with people. When it comes to religion, it describes how a person should live, and a lot of the actions it prescribes are connected to bigger traits that makes up an ideal person.

"Watch what they do, not what they say." I must have had enough time to observe the guy in the wild preferably in various situations where there is very low stakes of him needing to act a certain way. I think it is easy to act nice in shorter durations especially where there could be a reason why he would want to act a certain way. I also don't think I can be perfect at vetting, so I borrow wisdom from my elders and from religion if I have to make an extremely important decision.

I look at how he has been acting given the options, and I date men I know. I believe the past matters, and the only way you can only know is to look at what they've done when they were given such options, and I am dating a clearly volcel man. It is similar to a lot of men saying to look at a woman's younger past. When she was given a choice, what did she do? If she had a choice, what would she have done?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/24 05:24 PM

I think due to the intense competition, Korean brands really had to step up their game while Japanese fried chicken stayed relatively the same with less flavor options. Even when you get original/plain flavor, I think Korean franchise chicken got the texture down better.

It spoke in extremes, but to a degree, I would say it is correct. However, it does not make sense on platforms like OLD where you are primarily being judged for your looks. You have to pick your market, your audience and your marketing channel. The less people socialize and the more people's lives are moved to online platforms, the above will not apply. And I think women in general are attracted to masculinity which is not as easily conveyed.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/24 09:05 PM

I agree that looks matter, and what I said in my previous comment does reflect that. I probably start off feeling neutral in terms of attraction until there's an "Oh wow" moment with the person and sometimes it is related to how he carries himself or it could be his musical talent, and the physical attractiveness level ranged from dead average to good looking. These men all stood out to me in one way or another very much. I think one's looks or outer appearance cannot be a turn off, and at least…

I actually believe in nature more than the average person, due to me not having been able to overcome my masculine nature in my conservative culture. I believe femininity and masculinity is on a spectrum, and most people fall somewhere that's not in either extreme, but with men generally leaning more masculine, and women generally leaning more feminine. I think there's naturally masculine women and naturally feminine men but we are outliers.

I think men worry more about what women think about their choices than the other way around My mom said it is a feminine trait to care a lot about what others think, and I think that makes sense when we think about how women try to be more likeable and politically correct in general. I just think we have a lot of feminine leaning men on PPD.

I think there's another possibility. David Buss, a prominent evolutionary psychologist, has discussed the concept of the "Dark Triad" of personality traits—narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy—in the context of human mating strategies. According to Buss, these traits can be attractive to some women, particularly younger or more naive ones, due to their superficial signals of dominance, confidence, and risk-taking, which can be mistaken for indicators of high genetic quality and success.…

One point difference is huge when you consider the size of the normie league, and that one point can stand between a yes and a no. Fat/obese is basically sabotaging oneself.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 12:24 PM

People here could make a misogynist/misandrist podcast with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 12:14 PM

Eh they can be of issue. I think you have to be a mid for looksmaxxing to have a meaningful impact though.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 12:07 PM

If blackpill thinks the guy on the right is good looking... then they've really lost it. Basically another version of this gif.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 11:45 AM

I was talking about the level of experience, and not level of attractiveness since the topic was inexperience being problematic. Even in niche circles, the desirable crowd exists. And I am a SHE.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 08:37 AM

We would probably have to hope that your insecurities get manageable once you hit a certain level of attractiveness. But I think this might have to do with one's natural neuroticism too. If your neuroticism is naturally high, try to manage that for sure. If not, a few good experiences should help you manage those insecurities.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 08:35 AM

Also I don't really want ultraconservatives, since I am a left winger I see. I would have to wish you luck then. I am not too familiar with how progressives like to date. I still think if you are able to reach a certain level of attractiveness all around without too big of a negative, you still should be able to find someone.

I feel like glow up or not, I'm still in trouble. This part could be untrue for the conservative crowd. The glow up probably is needed though.

The most religious/conservative leaning women of PPD all got together with virgin men btw. Cauliflower was a virgin who started dating another virgin. AngeCruelle is a virgin dating a virgin, and same with me. But unless this is the demographic you are targeting specifically, being a virgin probably doesn't help.

Depends on which beauty standard you are trying to go for and the look that you will be leaning into. When it comes to styling, there is usually a select few styles that you can pull off too.

I am too Asian. I think he might have lost too much fat and facial fat that he lost the twink vibe. He messed up his facial balance somehow.

There's a small time singer that I've been listening to for a few years, and he looks a bit different, but not in a good way. I have been trying to determine if it is plastic surgery gone wrong, but I don't think that's it. His new brows are not doing it for him for sure. I think there's more to this though. Gonna ask a friend who does this professionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/24 07:08 AM

Age gap relationships should normally happen when they don't know each other as well as she would know her peers, and I think the problem more often is trying to date someone you don't know that well, rather than the age itself. But at the same time, I would be wary of the leftover market.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 08:11 PM

Would depend on cultural context too.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 07:49 PM

She is the best looking human I have ever seen in my entire life and I have a few ex-trainees and models as friends. Apparently guys from other schools waited at her school to catch a glimpse of her and stuff like that. She is the prettiest one out of all her really good looking sisters. That generation of women in my family looks insane and my cousins and myself all have some insecurity due to our moms. We don’t even care what our peers look like.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 07:39 PM

Take my upvote.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 07:26 PM

I wonder how many of them are on dating apps. The problem isn’t just how unrealistic/superficial, but their level of intelligence.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 07:22 PM

I was thinking about writing a somewhat similar comment last night but let it go. I am somewhat envious of my aunt’s looks, but I don’t think I would have actually liked having her level of attractiveness. I think it can get excessive at some point that it affects your life too negatively. But she is too extreme of an outlier.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 06:51 PM

I am partly headed back to Asia cause I want to raise my kids there.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/24 06:44 PM

Both genders simp so much more for Chads and Stacies. I said this a couple times before, but I believe people need to treat their (potential) partner as Chad/Stacy even if it is not true in the eyes of the public. People are often entitled and often act as if they rightfully deserve a person who isn't a Chad/Stacy, and don't treat them as nicely.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 08:24 PM

Yeah, my boyfriend would be getting an earful from me if he ate like this.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 08:11 PM

Targeted fat loss is not a thing, but this helps. You need to determine if it is guts or fat though. If it is fat, you need to lose it to get rid of it. I hated my guts. <image>
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 07:50 PM

There's quite a few more than PPD guys like to think, but they get locked down, and get harder to find among single people.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 07:30 PM

Were you having another discussion on this?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 07:05 PM

Natural and he can just grab it from my mom. Saving up to buy a ring is a stupid financial decision. That to me means you can’t afford it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 06:50 PM

No.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 08:41 PM

The range is different for each race. For Asians, the threshold for normal is lower than for it is for white people I think. It could be due to us storing our fat as visceral fat or something of the sort.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/24 08:38 PM

Morricone made those movies into masterpieces.
