I'm surprised you actually replied. I'm glad I can keep talking to such an esteemed member of this subreddit! Hostilities aside, thanks for the useful advice. I do agree with you on that one, most people don't care about the struggle of men in society. Things on this subreddit can get so esoteric and filled with conflicting info that its hard to get a STARTING POINT without information overload. For a newbie, I am looking to get a nudge in the right direction that leads to practical results, not…

Thank you for the quality and insightful post. I didn’t expect anyone to give two shits and give vague answers but I was wrong. You gave me a pretty clear tool to link woman to my current mindset that doesn’t involve compromising my core beliefs.

I’m a sexually frustrated nobody with a huge enough ego to admit my shortcomings and ask for advice and yet I got a senior endorsed contributor replying with no significant contributions! Of course I feel famous! Where can I buy your course, audiobook, and subscribe to your patreon so I can become like you?

Late bloomer. I was always a shy nerdy kid but turned that around in college and got laid, but it’s mainly from my looks alone and no skills (BP simp game as I like to call it). COVID also hit me hard and a lot of social skills were impaired. Thank you for the words of encouragement. Growing up without guidance is hard and sometimes I need to use the internet as a big brother. It seems that the only way forward is to talk to women and like the many posters here said the self improvement trap is …

Trust me you dont have to remind me. If I was wiser at a younger age I would've done Finance. Im in Life Science. Researchers with fresh Bachelors usually make around that much. I barely make any money from the waiter job and that's to work my way up to my hobby as a bartender. Also you'd be amazed at how many Ivy grads are out here barely surviving with poor major choices

You're right. I am simply delaying pursuing women because I am scared and using self improvement as an excuse.

Sounds like the tough love I needed to hear. Do you have any basic pointers to get me started in the right direction of practice?

On the topic of childhood traumas, how does one even begin to recognize and heal from it? Most don't even understand the roots of their traumas, or even if they have trauma in the first place (repressed memories perhaps?). I believe that some hidden childhood trauma is preventing me from being assertive as a man

I had the same experience. Skip the bullshit and go straight for prescription stuff like AA or Tret.

It is wisdom like this from you and many others that got me addicted in the first place! Thank you for the posts and I look forward to hearing more from you.

I’ve quit porn and video games cold turkey rather easily in college. Just remove the source of temptation by not bringing your PC to college. Internet and phone in the other hand is a hard thing to give up, especially when it’s ingrained into our daily work and life. What do you recommend to limit artificial dopamine from phone and internet (especially when I go to Reddit to get my RP facts) Life feels better already. I have motivation to hit the gym and project confidence. I still have a lot to…

Do you mean to start with Meditations then goto WoTSM, or NMMNG to Rational Male? They both seem like good starting books.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
