Dating and the job hunt always strike me as similar. Hard to get your foot in the door but once you do, you're in.

I think there's also something to be said about the fact that back then you could get by with one income in a household. That's no longer the case for most people. This pushes major milestones like becoming independent, buying a new car, etc. further back which lowers men's value (or at least, self-esteem)

Agreed. Some girls know how to market themselves so well that they can sell used panties and "premium" videos and photosets, private snapchat etc. I wouldn't say it's rocket science but it's more proactive than just being there.

I'd recommend you learn some game theory (don't stress about the statistical part, but learn the basic concepts) . You'll see that the latter will never truly be viable.

I have a theory. What women call toxic masculinity is actually betahood disguised as masculinity. Looking for fighte, consistently one-upping, mate-guarding, these are not the behaviors of alpha men but of beta males who feel the need to compensate for their lack of manhood. Sure, they'll use toxic masculinity as an umbrella term to demand more from men, but at the end of the day it's only a certain kind of man that will cede to these wishes, and that won't be you, bucko.

Funny thing is once you've found something that keeps you busy you'll just naturally play less. Between work, school and exercise I've little time or energy left at the end of the day. I still play, but it's not all I do.

The last time I went to a psychologist was after my parents divorced and she spent the entire session convincing and emphasizing that my birth was an accident. From then on the premise in the sessions was that my existence was undesirable, and let me tell you it's not a good frame of mind for a thirteen year old. Most psychologists are shit, especially those that ignore evolutionary reality.

In theory, a true socialist wants the workers to control the state. Anarcho-socialism is probably the closest thing to Marx. It's still not optimal because there's the whole redistribution of goods that kills motivation, when anarcho-capitalism at least still has you competing.

A couple. One sort of embraced it but at the same time just didn't mention it unless something related came up, in fact he helped me get out of my head with a girl once. The other one, well, bless his soul, he's like the sort of cutesy innocent guy who girls love to "aww" and fawn about (despite him being way too deep into dank meme culture and stuff), and really, he couldn't hurt a fly so I don't think he's really embracing the message. Solid post, man. This took more effort than most of what I see here, and you're good at categorizing the archetypes. You raise interesting points about the sigma, mainly the true indifference, and the separation from the gamma by actually making something worth the praise and attention. Seems a way better explanation than just the lone wolf that was proposed at the beginning of TRP when they were barely seeing what was what.

It's not from one day to the other. I could easily say the day my parents got divorced and I toughened up, the day I got a job, or finished high school, etc. No black to white transition, no plunge into the abyss, at least for most people it doesn't work like that.

You know the Pareto distribution? 80/20. Within that, not all the 20% is equal, so you'll find that within that distribution, it could very well be that only 7% produces half of that 80%. Maybe these are the sort of people that fit into the equation.

Agreed. Tends to be better written than non-fiction most of the time as well, barring anything strictly academic. Any neckbeard could bear to read a Confederacy of Dunces and figure out the rest from there, for example.

I'm on a diet, recovering after getting back in school, and I'm half a week through nofap, working on my discipline in general. People are noticing the former, which is nice, and I think I'm at a good weight to get therapy for my back.

Some people treat keto like others treat nofap. For example, I'm abstaining from jerking it but not because of the superpowers, rather, the delayed gratification. All keto does is lower your caloric consumption (if you don't go overboard) as fat is more filling than carbs.

Likewise, brother. Aside from a beer every few months or maybe a sip of liquor if it's a special occasion or it's a rare bottle, I just don't find it worth it.

Doubling supply does not halve the price but it doesn't mean you'll make twice the money either as you will lower prices anyways. There is an efficient point and we're way past it when you can pay people to just sit around and take your phone calls and not do much else. Country wealth is generally correlated to aggregate value, that you're right in that it's not about size. That's why México has a huge labor force but little to show for it, as it's all just manufacturing. Meanwhile Israel is tin…

Never been particularly high social status, once dated a sort of party girl who came onto me. I barely even go out so it was a pretty weird match. I eventually got too invested and blew it, but you live and learn. Thing is, sometimes girls are fixated on something, it could be you remind her of her father or fill that void, could be that for some reason she's really into your personality, could be that you're just exactly her type and fit the mold. It's definitely a case by case issue.

I wouldn't say I'm ruthless more than I'm not a pushover anymore. Anybody with the "Somebody's going to do it so why not do morally shady things" can go fuck themselves IMO. Humanity would be a lot nicer without that sort of people. I think there's always a little of envy in everyone but you can tell which women actively work on improving themselves. Sure, AWALT, but that doesn't mean that women are identical, some like fitness and reading, others like to sit back and watch Netflix all day.

Men want multiple women to plant their seed, women innately want the best seed. By fucking around they let go of their standards and display lack of self control, ergo, you stay away because your spawn will be stuck with a crazy bitch who won't do what's best for her kids. That's not how it works now but it is what we still feel due to thousands of years of experience.

Get back on track, your mind needs momentum. Start slow and easy, work your way up. I tested 140 (really young, if it holds up now who knows) and I also dumbed myself down for a while but you can make your mind a powerhouse again pretty easily if you do indeed have that mental capacity.

You're seeing a lot more people than I do on a daily basis. I read and write a lot, do the odd job or project, sometimes play video games if I'm in the mood, and go out like once every couple of weeks or something, usually with one person. People exhaust me, quite frankly, but maybe loneliness exhausts you. If that's the case, see what you can do to change your situation.

Hear me out. You know about the dichotomy between 1984 and Brave New World, I assume. A big amount of the discussions end in saying that 1984 doesn't apply and only BNW does. I say it does, but in the U. S., with elements from Bradbury's Fahrenheit. People are dumbed down, drugs are available almost like candy, no casual sex appointments yet but that feels like it's almost around the corner. On the other side, you have Germany. Thought police, illegal to hire prostitutes but legal to be one, den…

Yeah, that part about putting a target on yourself is true. When I started arguing against the regressive liberals, I noticed I was breaking just about every single law of power and I wasn't doing the Art of War right. I wasn't even doing a convulted postmodern version, I was a Pollock, just a mess. It's way better to influence people one by one, I think, make sure you have a small core of people you can trust and work from there. It's not just education. Everybody assumes women are good at handling children and divorce is incentivized and that really fucks children up, especially if they stay with a crazy mother. Infidelity and divorce is treated as the norm and that's really not ok, not for the kids. You then have them growing up needing therapy or help of some sort, but that should be something out of the norm, not something that's so common that everybody has a therapist nowadays.

Spanish and native ancestry, a little French and from Morocco. Upper middle class, but I don't flaunt it. The girls claim they're good to their papis and will go out and slut it up wearing less than literal prostitutes. Claim they want a good guy, end up sleeping with chads and cholos, or fake chads. Hell, had a lot of friends fixated w…

Although Freud isn't acknowledged by psychologists anymore I am certain he had the right idea, because the academics have been pulling off shit like ignoring underlying causes of eating patterns for obesity or removing gender dysphoria from the list of mental disorders. I think I have to read up on him again, you put an interesting proposition of ideas here. I also think that a result of widespread feminism was killing the id. I used to be very direct as a child and saw things the way they were,…

Confidence doesn't come only from inside. It comes from your achievements. If you're not good enough you're insecure and your question is insecurity itself. If you're not here to improve yourself you're wasting your time and you never will be good enough, you could always be better. And that's a good thing. Confidence also comes from the fact that few people are actually willing to improve. They're conformists and that's why they're pretty insecure themselves.

It's not exactly picking a hobby to impress a girl. You can lift and eat steak and be an example of raw manliness and still be pretty shy with women. You don't tolerate what you're not exposed to.

Her prose can be pretty dense but she's a good author. Feminists probably like her because Dagny Taggart gets to sleep with the three most alpha guys in literature excluding Roark. Really, she criticizes people who consume without producing real value, talks about the virtues of selfishness, and paragons of masculinity and achievement. Read her.

The problem with countries like Mexico and Brazil is that there's so much crime and the government collaborates to the point that there's not much incentive to produce unless you're in a sort of "protected" class. For example, upper middle class business owners used to be bothered a lot about eight to five years back, at the height of the insecurity, but everybody was closing up shop. It tends to stick with them better that way, which is good, because (upper class) girls are starting to act like American women and that's not a good sign for us.

Yeah, I'll probably be running a small biz with my uncle, and when it comes to hiring, we don't give a shit about the gender, it's more of a "Will you fucking work or not?" It takes next to nothing to be a waiter (not any "exclusive skills, per se), but if you send me a hot girl who doesn't know how to mop a floor, or be courteous, she's not getting hired, but that same standard applies to plain or ugly girls, plain, ugly, or attractive men.

Duuuuuude. DUUUUUUUDE. Run the fuck away while you still can and make sure she won't sue for palimony. Fuck, man, she's already making it clear that she wants you for your money, or at least, it's big part of your value to her. It's already implied, of course, but if she's so open about it she's colder than the average woman and truly doesn't give a shit. You lost confidence? Happens to all of us who date a manipulative woman. It happened to me and I crashed and burned pretty hard. She loved the…

I'm close to 21 years old but I don't even see the point in vying for a relationship if most women have no concept of loyalty. They will never love you, only the way you make them feel. If they stop feeling the excitement, they'll keep you around until they swing to another branch or even keep coming back and picking the fruit from your branch while lying on another one.
/r/TheRedPill07/01/16 06:30 AM

I don't agree with the last one. Even if you spin it your way, they're more practiced with manipulation and can tell when you want to control anything, and they fucking hate it.
/r/TheRedPill07/01/16 05:52 AM
12

Once tried it, can confirm, they're pretty good at manipulation and they're draining in every way you can imagine. Also they start off well and take away sex and "love" for the duration of the relationship. At least what comforts me is that if I keep working hard and smart I'll be a pretty valuable person to myself and society, but she'll always be a slut, current or former, and she knows it.

Not even 7/10 for me, I don't find the appeal. My ex was way hotter and I see hotter girls every day in college, what do I care if they're not the most famous starlet or whatever? (Aside from the money maybe, but I don't want to be a boytoy)

It's pretty fucking sad. Germany used to be my dream, man, I was planning to move to Berlin once I'd gained a good amount of passive income. If I ever get to that point, though, I'm going somewhere more rational like Australia, with their tighter immigration policy, because there's no way I'm voluntarily going to a warzone.
/r/TheRedPill06/01/16 08:57 AM

It's pretty funny, because I was arguing about illegal migration, Trump and how what he says is that illegals make it much more difficult for legals, etc., then they ask me my thoughts about Europe, and they can't get it through their skulls that most of them are men, most of them aren't Syrians, most of them will stay on welfare, most of them don't give a shit about law and will ask for Sharia. God damn, the "progressives" are really scary sometimes.

My ex didn't smoke weed until she started hanging out with her cousin who was a drug addicted whore, same as her friends. My parents got divorced eight years ago and it was more rare, right now lots of couples are doing it instead of fixing their problems. It reminds me of one of Stefan Molyneux's podcasts. The guy can get a little preachy sometimes, but if you haven't seen "How to destroy the world", do it, he talks about how giving the state power and incentivizing women's degeneracy is what will lead to the destruction of family and manhood.

I agree with the mom that respect is important. I agree that money management is important. I agree being interesting and not being a dick all around (if that's the lifestyle you want to lead) is important. What I don't agree with is conditioning your son to blow all his money on a woman as soon as he earns it, show him there's other methods. Also, don't spend your son's chore money on fucking dinner dates with his mom, fucking hell.

It's fucking tragic, don't you think? Being able to have a level of self-awareness to know that what you want is not necessarily what's best for you, but having such emotional turmoil as to have a self-destruction drive? Just like a drunk guy who want to behave but can't help being a dick or a junkie who knows he's going to O.D. any day now but can't help wanting that next hit. Fucking tragic.

Holy shit, I just finished it, one of the other users was right, this should be the sidebar. What I think is funny is that most people will think the ending as retribution for being an asshole/woman beater when it's all about losing frame. I'm still processing it but it's pretty damn intense.
/r/TheRedPill26/09/15 03:38 AM

This is actually a pretty good analysis, but you must also take into account that for a lot of betas compromise is the endgame and for that reason they are content to give it away to sluts. That being said that makes them the male equivalent of the slut because after all, betas are going to be looked down upon as well.

I'm against drug use in general but I think your problem is more of an attitude and inner game thing than just not being cool enough. If you're that fucking strong, just keep up the good work at the gym and work on other aspects of your personality. If you want to do drugs, go ahead, I personally wouldn't because it can set you back on a lot of things.

This more or less happened to me during my (former) LTR, where at the beginning she seemed to be into what I was, showed interest and shit, but slowly and surely she showed her true colors. This right here is the importance of keeping frame, otherwise your girl will turn on you eventually, but not immediately, more like a frog in the pot situation.

When you stop treating women like special little snowflakes they get angry because all our lives we've been led to believe that's what should happen. They don't want betas to know the key to their pussies because it's the equivalent of a girl deceiving you with makeup in order to get laid or in a relationship. They feel threatened by men who see through bullshit which they don't even believe is bullshit; they see it the same way a little boy believes his grandma when she says he's the most hands…

If you're strong enough mentally to endure a house of six girls, who are probably not going to even listen to you during arguments because "You're not the man of the house", then go ahead, but I think it's going to be a big amount of unnecessary stress, especially during college.

I actually am thinking of trying out sales eventually. I live in Mexico and to see if I could be good at it I got a summer job as a waiter. That meant you had to earn your tip (And it was necessary because every day you had to give 15% of sales to cooks and bartender. Not tips, sales.). I'm a Mexican with genes from both natives and Spaniards. I'll tell you this, people can tell I'm Mexican when I'm in the U.S., and when I'm in Europe they think I'm a Turk. If you're ethnical, and fat or somehow unattractive girls will just see you as "weird" and "creepy", but lose some weight, groom yourself, build some muscle and suddenly you're "exotic".
/r/TheRedPill31/01/15 05:34 PM

I think those details are a lot of what guys forget when they're in the anger stage. Rage blinds you, therefore you will see women as nothing more than disposable fucktoys for a while, forgetting that you can just take it easy, have fun, and actually be a better person if you pull it off right. But for that you need to have a constantly good frame.

I am against the use of drugs for various reasons, personal and otherwise, but I must recognize that those who can control their use and know the consequences of their actions are safer users than those with low self-control. Actually I recently broke up with a girl because it turned out she smoked weed. I was more angry that she hid the fact from me for years than that she actually consumed, and when she told me she wasn't willing to leave it for me, I cut her off. So remember, use drugs under …

This is the way it should be explained. Sexual strategy functions under certain principles. If a man gives a girl the tingles, she'll probably leave whatever she's doing (or whomever she's with) to go for the man who makes her horny. That, in itself, is amoral. But you are not amoral. You can be moral or inmoral, but no man is truly amoral. Yes, you can steal a girl. Yes, the principle that made the girl go to you was amoral. No, stealing the girl isn't amoral, it's inmoral. It's your choice whe…

I think the problem is a lot of people here don't understand the difference between amoral and immoral, which has been pointed out by /u/Trellink. We're not encouraging you to be a good man or a douchebag, we discuss what works and doesn't regardless of if it's moral or not. The problem with making a forum in Spanish is that you need a translator between states in some countries, let alone between different countries, so the terminology would vary wildly amongst Spanish speakers. I think you're a wonderful woman, and I think the real problem is that most women simply try to fight their nature and don't know their value. Also, if somebody's looking up to you, you don't necessarily have a responsibility to lead a good life, but I'll be damned if the admiration of a smaller brother or your peers (or your son if you have one) isn't a great boost for your motivation.

For our species to survive this instinct was to be harbored amongst men so that reproductive success was kept at a maximum. Now, I would advise against giving your life in order to save a woman's unless it's an extreme circumstance (for example, she's the mother of your child(ren)).

A lot of men still aren't comfortable with living without shame. TRP gets a lot of apologists when we get new membership surges. Why? Because they know that the ideas discussed here are true, yet have a sense of guilt because they're going against what they've accepted as truth their whole lives.

Focus on academics as well. Basically you won't have much time to simply focus on girls but the more you participate in stuff they more you'll find that it gets easier to talk to them. This self-improvement of yours will come slowly but surely.

I think it's creepy in the sense that they obsess over this one girl and try to sabotage her life to their advantage. If that doesn't make someone a creep I don't know what does.

Yeah, that's the thing. The most successful men I've met have been the most cynical about women but it's not because they've come to hate them just because. It's because, being successful, they've been able to attract women from wherever the hell they want and know the extent of their hamstering.

I didn't rationalize anything, I just explained a small facet of women's behavior with a case study that comes from personal experience. I actually did feel horrible because for a small while I was the other guy, but then I realized, if she's willing to have another guy, she doesn't care about her "main guy" at all, and she's as disposable to me as I am to her.
/r/TheRedPill09/07/14 05:41 AM

Fortunately she was from another campus so had I gone through with it there would've been little chance of running into the guy. By now I guess he's done the math seeing his ex has already had two more boyfriends.

Everybody on TRP will have a differing opinion on this. I think it is wrong to cheat but not wrong to take the opportunity. If someone's going to cheat on somebody else with you, well, you're a third party with no involvement. If you're cheating on your other you're breaking a compromise you have a part in and therefore are dishonorable. Still, most women don't have this conception of honor.

I think that persuasion is more of a PUA sort of thing. The difference between TRP and PUA is that while PUA teaches you how to emulate high-status men, TRP encourages you to become a high-status man yourself so that you naturally develop these behaviors.

Awesome man, I like Ghost too. It seems you're wearing graphic shirts all the time, which isn't bad, but try to mix it up a bit, try some button down shirts or something. Aristotle was a fucking genius. I remember reading him and he already was well instructed not only in politics but in everyday lifestyle. Yeah, it's pretty funny. Women always claim superiority but imagine if a guy said "Men are smarter than women" or something. Shit would hit the fan. Feminism used to stand for equal rights, I recognize that, but it's been molded into misandry and lived long past its usefulness. You're not alone in what you feel, and you will see it everywhere, but try not to discuss it in real life unless it's with one of your closest friends, lest you want to find yourself arguing for hours.

I always found it strange that people never had a sense of consequence. My parents let me know that for everything I did, there would be a consequence, either good or bad. I used to date a girl who was like this but not because of an abusive past. Her father had died and this in turn made her a psycho. I felt sorry for her, but damn, anywhere I've asked in my city, they've heard of her, and it's a big city.

19, I think that the difference between what older men and younger men do with RP depends a lot on their context. This post makes me think the reason women hate each other is because of the amount of gossip they live through so they know all the bullshit each other woman has done. It's like a gay friend once told me: "I know who's had sex with who, who's taken which drugs, that sort of shit."

I'm not good with financial/legal points since I'm just 19, but I went through my parents' divorce, so I'll help you out on your sister. Yeah, the reason a lot of guys that internalize TRP get bitter is because they come here every day reading stories about betas that were abandoned by women, or fat women who think they're beautiful, when really, this doesn't happen so often, we just get to know about it more.

"The Fault in Our Stars" was disturbing to me because he's an adult man who's writing from the perspective of a fourteen year-old girl with cancer. As for the provider/alpha dichotomy, I believe that when you provide, not out of scarcity, but abundance, others will notice and this marks the difference between a "nice" guy, and a genuinely good guy.

Yeah, you can blatantly insult a girl and if you hold frame she'll love you for it. At this party this girl was singing a Miley Cyrus song. She sucked. So I told her once she finished that I could sign her up for some singing classes. She stared at me with an "o" face and said "Are you saying I can't sing?" "Yeah." Might be. Don't really use them that much anymore either.

Band T-shirts are all right in the appropriate context, as long as they're good quality and fit right. Going to play a concert? Go for it. Under a dark button-up shirt? Sure. Exercising? Yeah. Parties? Only with the tightest groups. If you're in a crappy Hot Topic oversized drape though, there's something wrong.

I found this just after turning 19, yeah, it's a godsend if you ask me. My friends from junior high saw me recently and they were impressed because I had changed a lot. The girls called me an ass but they couldn't stop talking to me anyways. Life rocks.

Like Sun Tzu said, know your enemy and know yourself, and you will win every battle. This subreddit shows men how the "enemy" (just using a metaphor, don't go wild) works and why, and at the same time shows you how to act upon it. By knowing all this you can avoid a lot of pain in your life.

This makes sense. I just went out with a plate a while ago, and she seemed more reserved than usual. Then she asked me if I hated rainy days as well. I then noticed it was raining and it clicked.

I don't like it. You're trying to begin with the climax when you need a proper buildup. Also you need to work on your grammar.

Complaining about women is a healthy part of the anger phase. Of course, it has to end at some point. The reason there's a lot of complaint posts is the influx of new members every once in a while. You can usually tell who's begun to swallow the pill recently by the type of comments.

Well, you can start by not thinking so much about women. Forget about it for a month or so. After watching the world with more objective eyes, you'll be able to make a choice with a clear head.

Nothing wrong with it. Rather, use the language that comes to you naturally. You might find it more comfortable to use an extensive vocabulary or you could communicate simply. Whatever floats your boat.

That also works if you want to fuck her besides fucking with her.

Well, I always was apalled when I saw women saying, without any evidence, that women are smarter/better/stronger(wtf) and them getting cheered when a man saying that would just be booed off wherever he was.

Usually if a girl's involved with this sort of people she'll hint at it, though. They're not stupid, either. Takes way more machiavellianism to be a gangster's wife, but they know well enough not to pull more men into that atmosphere. If not, other people will let you know, anyways.

Yeah, there are some women who can feel strong emotions but can restrain themselves. I tend to see this in more traditional households.

I blew it last summer with this. I was in Germany with a study group and there was this girl with a bf, who I flirted with at first until I learned she had her boyfriend. The last day she dragged me to her room at 1 a.m. and all I did was fucking cuddle with her when I could've easily pumped n' dumped. Of course, a month later she broke up. If she's going to cheat on someone with you and you won't go for it, she'll go ahead and do it with someone else. Proceed depending on how well you know the …
