Also, every single day on the dating subs I read stories from people writing in of "How can I let this guy I've been dating down gently," then after I read it I realize they went on 4 dates without sex happening, so her attraction is now gone even though she seems to be oblivious to it herself. Correlation doesn't mean causation. I interpret that example as that they went on 4 dates without sex happening because they were not ultimately attracted to the guy not because the guy failed to make a m…

I'm sure I've lost some because of it. However, I don't dwell on sex I may have "lost". But why do you care so much about sex you may have lost due to not having your own place? Do you feel validated through sex?

Mandatory? No. It definitely helps somewhat (especially in say a college campus environment) but it's definitely not essential (source: am mid 20s guy who doesn't have his own place who has been with quite a lot of women).

Have been in a similar situation, got myself into great shape and started dressed much better and felt much more confident in myself. However, I had the complete opposite reaction from women IRL. Women my age used to be much friendlier to me and would even approach me from time to time. Whereas now, they're a lot more cold and standoffish to me, and give off those deer in headlights kind of vibes; they treat me like I'm a bear or something. Tinder though is like shooting fish in a barrel. Litera…

25M here. In my experience, it's been the complete opposite. The women I match with, date, fuck are more attractive than the women I've met IRL who don't give me the time of day, are standoffish. And I've had thousands of matches at this point, and quite a lot of dates, hookups, etc. It's also to the point that the vast majority of dates/sex I've had has been with women I've met on apps. Makes no sense to me given the consensus that Tinder is much harder for men than IRL.

Have you tried online dating apps? I'm a guy who went from being underweight and unattractive to quite lean muscular and attractive. Women used to be quite friendly and receptive to me , now they react to me like I'm a bear or a leper or something. Which leads to nothing with women irl. And it's not like my personality has changed, I'm still the same friendly, talkative, witty kind of guy. However, tinder has absolutely exploded and continues to get better and better for me.

Eh I'd say this is true a lot of the time but not all. I had a girl stop sleeping with me because I was too dominant and she wanted a guy more submissive

Most women around my age (I'm 25) lack charisma, charm, conversational skills, and interesting life experiences. A lot of women have very short memories/attention spans in terms of their interest in you. It doesn't matter how attractive you are or how interested and enthusiastic she is in the beginning (I get women messaging me first on tinder somewhat regularly), she can just suddenly forget about you at a moment's notice out of nowhere. Women expect men to satisfy them sexually but yet expect …

I honestly don't understand how you are having an issue with this, if you are a cool, interesting, attractive guy. You will have lots of women trying to get with you and you will need to do very little to capitalize. Disagree with the will part, I'd say it's more of a may, though YMMV based on location. I'm a guy who gets tons of play from decently attractive women and up on Tinder and yet I can count on one hand the amount of women I've had approach me IRL as well as the amount of women recepti…

Possibly, but like I said it depends on where you live. Where I live is quite a reserved and introverted kind of culture (I don't live in the US, a FAR more sociable place from my experience). All the so called signs, IOIs, etc that get thrown around on here and dating subreddits are completely alien to me because I never experience them.

9/10 times it's a Tinder date, either straight to her place or at a bar first. If at a bar first, she'll act like I described above and then I'll say fuck it and suggest going to hers/mine anyway. I then make the move once there. If I'm already starting off at her place, she'll act like above then I'll just say fuck it and make the move anyway.

Suppose it depends on where you live. In my experience, it hasn't been like that at all, except in rare cases. The vast majority of women I've slept with (and I'm in mid double digits at this stage) showed no signs of interest at all, didn't flirt nor reciprocated my flirting

A couple of questions I have: I do not mean you shouldn't approach women in random places. You absolutely should especially if they send you signs of interest (eye contact, smiling, standing close to you). What do you do when women show zero signs of interest? In my experience, the more attractive, fit, etc I've become, the more avoidant women where I live have become with me (they certainly don't initiate eye contact, are touchy/flirty/etc, are smiling/talkative). They used to be more receptive…

M25 here, went from underweight/unattractive to very in shape, lean muscular, chiseled face, and all round conventionally attractive. Here's been my experience: Every demographic except women around my age became dramatically nicer/friendlier to me. Especially men around my age, they kiss my ass endlessly. However women around my age IRL suddenly became a lot colder, standoffish, withdrawn, a lot less receptive than they were previously. They would hold negative stereotypes about me right from t…

If someone isn't responsive, they aren't interested. She said she wasn't interested at first. How was I supposed to know she was responsive but not interested (at first) instead of not interested and not responsive but the guy pushed through anyway?

Question to OP, first you said At first, I was not interested, It went from me not being interested to actually attracted Then you said . Who in his right mind would continue being flirty when she isn’t responsive and seem bothered? So you say you shouldn't continue being flirt if she doesn't seem interested yet he continued when you weren't interested and it worked. So what's the difference here?

Although those I have talked to online also seem very open and encouraging. Where did you meet this online? I have had several offer for me to stay with them - in their beds - if I come to visit Certainly never had that happen with women here! Might I ask which city you are in? That’s way I can avoid it lol! I live in Canberra
/r/seduction24/05/22 10:23 AM

They are incredibly sexually open and and straightforward and easy to meet and talk to. You’re not giving a good baseline to anyone using Australia as your example. The city I live in is much more reserved and introverted and cliquey and the women here are definitely not easy to meet and talk to haha. The Australian women you've met abroad are much more likely to have the kind of outgoing personality you describe (part of why they're travelling in the first place).

For what it's worth, in my experience, Bumble has been complete crap in terms of barely any matches and when I do get one they're not exactly great quality. Tinder has been light years better for me in every aspect, from more matches, more attractive matches, better replies, etc. How do you go on tinder out of curiosity?
/r/seduction24/05/22 06:07 AM

I'm not making any proposition. I'm simply stating how even as an attractive man, the odds are against you probability wise
/r/seduction24/05/22 06:00 AM

Well it's more like 100-200 range tbh; can't remember the exact number but deffs over 100 and it's a lot. And that's over the time I've been on tinder, not per year etc. The amount of work you have to put in to get those numbers blows my mind. And that's part of my point. Yes I've have had (and regularly still get) quite a lot of matches leading to lots of meetups but vast majority of the matches go nowhere from the jump.

I get results from Tinder, I've met up with tons of women and have had quite a lot of sex from it too. I'm just saying that while it's definitely easier it's still not easy on a mathematical/probability scale based on the reasons I described. This is why tinder is highly location dependent. If you are in a city with a lot of attractive males, try moving. Definitely agree with this. When I set my location in South America, Asia, etc, the conversion rates are wayyyy higher.

Depends on what you mean by doing it wrong? Like don't get me wrong, I've met up with tons of girls (100s now) from Tinder alone and have had lots of sex from it etc. So in terms of objective numbers, I've had massive success. However I'm pointing out that the overall conversion rate of match to something actually happening is quite low, even for attractive men. Do you approach women in real life? Have attractive pics; don't be unattractive Basically but having some creativity and some game also helps as well. I'd also argue that just as being attractive helps in dating apps, it can work against you in real life (if you're the "wrong" type of attractive for the good girl types)
/r/seduction17/04/22 04:11 PM

For me, it's been the opposite. Had all my hookups, dates, relationships from dating apps (quite a lot as I've had lots of matches). Right now, I have 3 active FWBs, all from apps. Meanwhile, women have never been receptive IRL (both cold approaches and say at mutual friends parties).
/r/seduction17/04/22 05:57 AM

Definitely helps in getting laid easier but only on dating apps and it's still not that easy overall. I'll also say that being in very great shape, great abs, has actually hurt me with women IRL since they put their guards up immediately (were a LOT friendlier and more receptive when I was underweight and unattractive).

Here's a question I have, if this statement is true, then why do women become distrustful of men they presume get lots of attention from women? In my experience, when I became better looking and got myself in great shape, I found that women assumed I got lots of attention and play from women and thus were sleeping around a lot, so they became a lot more guarded and standoffish around me. They never actually saw me with women but just the belief alone was enough for them to keep me at arms length

Most of the girls I have seen on tinder act like lifeless zombies. Funny you say you that, I've had it the opposite way around. Women act like lifeless zombies towards me in real life but actually talk to me like a person on Tinder

All a white guy needs is be in shape, be white and “just be confident bro”. Not true. Granted, I won't deny that being white gives me a large advantage but it's nowhere near as easy as that. I've certainly encountered a lot of crappy treatment from women as a tall, white, very in shape, successful male. However, I will say that your theory is correct for South American countries, lower tier Asian countries, third world countries. In those places, if you have the description you said l, it is bas…

Nothing on my end, the only thing that's changed is my age and their receptiveness to me. Like due to the COVID stuff I've barely been able to go out so I'm pretty much using the same pics as late 2019, still have the same bio. Better to be the guy she says “ugh I cant stand his ass” but she gives you a triple blowjob 3000 than to be the guy she says “awww he’s so sweet” then pats you on the head and tells you any girl would be happy to have you… except her of course lmao Completely agree with this. Don't get me wrong, it's much easier getting online dates and hookups. I agree with your post but had to address this: Put more energy into improving your appearance, a non-needy aura of confidence & your social status than you do into being “the nice guy” and your interactions with women will get better. In my experience, YMMV with this. Improving all of these things (and all the other positive traits this sub believes in) made women a lot more cautious and guarded, and less trusting and comfortable around me in real life interactions. Dating apps though are a cak…

Have to disagree with this, though it may just be where I live. I've found that the better looking and more muscular I get (lean muscle), the less attention and interest I get from women. Was underweight and less attractive and women were a lot nicer before I got in shape. Now I'm seen as untrustworthy and so they disengage right off the bat. Tinder is great though. Most decently attractive (and up) women here where I live are with average or below men.

Meanwhile, if you're ugly, females avoid you a d everything you do is considered weird or creepy and women are extra alert around you. Funny you say this... Over here in Australia, this is how women act if you are attractive (minus the weird and creepy part)

He was working on his laptop and I was working on mine at the table right next to him. He smiled at me once, he didn’t hover nor did he stare at me to try and get my attention. The same holds true for returning compliments. On the surface, it seems like a friendly and polite thing to do. However, it comes of as being insincere. You are not giving someone a compliment based on something they did themselves, but rather as a favor for saying something nice about you. This will likely make them feel the opposite of how you intended when you returned the compliment. Just to play devil's advocate here but what if you legitimately believe the returning compliment? Also, what …

Bit late to the party here but I'll share anyway.... I'm M24 and in the five years since becoming sexually active, I've seen the amount of women I've been with increase each successive year. Almost all (probs like 90-95%) of the women I've been with have been from Tinder or Bumble. For me nothing compares to being a musician. I’ve had moments where I’ve experienced what celebrities probably do with women where hot girls were approaching me and were heavily attracted. All because I was a talented musician. Do you perform your music in public? What sorts of situations did you have women approach you? Like after a gig, in public because they knew you...? Thanks for the detailed reply. Maybe you're right, perhaps therapy is the answer. I'll still address some of your points as I'm curious to your insight. While I agree with the OP here, I'm curious about something... What if you legitimately don't know why you're not having the kinds of success that you want? In my case, there's nothing that I can honestly point to that I can "blame" for why women (in general - not every single woman) aren't receptive to me (e.g. I believe I'm the opposite of all the examples the OP listed). Thanks, some good insight here. The reason I asked is because the example you gave about this one particular guy is what the vast majority of women around my age I encounter/go out with are like. They're not flirty, touchy, complimentary, etc with me at all. Yes. Those friends are either older, taken, don't have that many friends and/or friends I'm interested in, don't live close by (e.g. interstate or overseas friends I met online) or a mix of all of those. When I said "women have never cared for my qualities..." I meant in a romantic/sexual interest in me way rather than a platonic way.

Thanks for this post, some great tips here! Something I'm curious about though, you mention a couple of times about "when she indicates... do this". What do you do if she doesn't indicate anything? In my experience, women don't really indicate anything explicitly (e.g she won't vocalise what she wants - I want you inside of me, fuck me please, etc. What do you do about that?

All these numbers, it's not a mathematical equation. Just take care of your body and you're good to go. I completely agree dude but that's not what this post is about. This is about a noticeable difference in how you're treated by women before and after getting in shape and improving SMV. The numbers themselves are irrelevant. "I was too skinny and wasnt getting girls. So I bulked up and now girls are intimidated by me." That's not the message here at all. In the chapter, the author describes how as he got in better and better shape the attention from different kinds of women changed (meaning increasingly more attractive as he got better), and then at his best the attention seemed to fall off the face of the earth.

I can definitely see your point of view. You don't want to be in a position of the man thinking you misled him in case he doesn't take it well, especially given the "implication" of going to his place. However, when women say things like "sure but only for 10 minutes", why doesn't the woman then give the man some kind of green light once she feels comfortable enough/interested in sex happening? Wouldn't that solve both problems? The woman doesn't feel pressured but then she indicates to the man …

Sounds like you need to get bigger, 164 at 5'11 is average to skinny. When you feel like you’ve marked the checkboxes-good looks, money, etc-this is the false belief of “being a catch” you should avoid. That is simply a crutch for your ego. When you truly believe that you’re a prize, you believe you are interesting, unique, independent, that you offer something that most…

I get that and I'm sympathetic to that, it must be a frustrating balance to try and upkeep. But to use the guy above's example: I've often had women who clearly wanted to sleep with me, and when I asked them if they'd come to my place they'd say: "sure, but only for 10 minutes" - when obviously the next morning they were still in my bed Why not just say "sure" and leave it at that? Just saying yeah sure is enough to accept the invitation in a plausibly deniable way, no? Saying only 10 minutes wo…

Because I didn't neglect rapport and friendship with girls I date I've had FWBs come back after years of us not sleeping together and right now my girlfriend is one of my best friends in the world Man, how do you pull that off? I try to build rapport and friendship with my FWBs/girls I hooked up with and like we have D&M chats after sleeping together (mostly the FWBs but sometimes the initial hookup too) but depsite my best efforts I've certainly never had them come back as you described

Funny you say that, I've had the complete opposite experience. Was underweight and bulked up then cut to a very lean muscular physique. Face is very chiseled now, defined jawline. My experience now with women my age irl is a lot worse than before. While they were friendly and receptive and would sometimes even approach me every so often when I was underweight, that doesn't happen now. Now women treat me like I'm a bear or something, deer in headlights standoffish vibes. They barely even talk to …

Why give the impression that you're not interested when you are? Makes no sense to me

Even if she doesn't openly express who she is, that still tells you something about her (introverted, possibly insecure, quiet, etc). I still don't quite get how you do this though, would you mind elaborating a bit more? What sorts of information do you get from girls' profiles and how does this shape your approach? I think this is a great idea btw I'm just not quite sure how to use it. Like where I live there's some girls that post a lot on their feed/story but that tends to be girls who just p…

Well, part of dating is kissing a lot of frogs. Yeah I know but if possible, I'd like to try and weed out the frogs who I shouldn't bother trying to kiss. But really if you've been on enough dates, you should have noticed some patterns by now. For instance, I find women who aren't getting my humor and building on it (not just "loling"), probably aren't for me. I need a little banter over text. In the past, I've ignored these instincts. Don't. Yeah I agree with this, and normally I do try to test…

I suppose that's an idea but that only really works if the girl openly expresses who she is on IG. A lot of people don't, I know I don't showcase everything on any social media. Also, isn't the advice thrown around here to not contact her through IG?

Aside from starting conversations with guys, do you also give green light signals for them to approach or escalate with you? Meaning like making eye contact from across the room and smiling, having an upbeat vibe when talking to them, directly flirting with them, touching them etc?

I live in Australia. Our social dynamic is deffs a lot less extroverted than the US (have lived in both). Interests? I love working out as you would guess but this doesn't define me. Hell I rarely even mention it, nor post about it or my gains on social media. I love cooking, playing piano, composing music, finance/investing, retro video games. These are the aspects I showcase on social media. Still get those bad vibes from women. Not sure what you meant by "how do you go about defining yourself…

You know what happened? My connections with people grew deeper and I had awesome conversations with strangers more often. Made acquaintances everywhere. You know what the other common denominator was with these people? They were willing to engage me. They were not women between like 18-40 (arbitrary range, but yanno what I mean). I swear to god I've written this word for word myself before, spot on. The conversation with most of these girls after I approach them goes like this.... You could put …

I'm funny, social, and I'm the one carrying the conversation when I try. It's odd that the only demographic that struggles talking to me is women age 18-40. Women can't seem to function around me. They'll stare, giggle, sneak pictures all the time, etc. But it never leads to anything. Yes, I get that. But I only feel that way about like the top TOP girls. Like the super hot girls at the gym. However, if one of those super hot women spoke to me I wouldn't act completely standoffish to them, I would talk to them back like a normal person. Women don't do this with me. When I talk to them, ask them about themselves (you know, trying to have a normal conversation), do they reciprocate? No, instead it's like they shit themselves and their walls go up immediately. And I don't even c…

Yep it takes agesssss just for most women my age to talk to me like a normal person, like I'm actually shocked when a woman my age does bc it's so rare. Funny thing though, you're not interested in talking much, whereas I am. So I actually try to talk to them, ask them about themselves, and all I get is weird brick wall vibes.
/r/seduction21/11/21 06:47 AM

So not in shape girls just shy away from me. I am attracted to them but most of them are too intimidated. See, that's the conundrum for me, the types of women who have the types of personalities/interests that click with mine are the ones much more likely to be the not in shape girls and the ones more likely to shun me. So I feel like I'm in this weird purgatory.

women are just confusing. some of it even comes down to where you are. Couldn't agree more. When I visited the US, I noticed women were much more chatty and flirtatious and forward than here in Australia. And I don't even have an Australian accent so I can't credit the difference to that (was noticeable even in messages).
/r/seduction21/11/21 06:24 AM
5

Funny you say that. At least where I live (Australia) you seem to have a wayyyy better chance with women IRL being an average guy. Because at least they at least attempt to talk to you like a normal person a lot more and don't put their walls up immediately. Women used to be MUCH more receptive to me when I was less attractive and underweight, now they react to me like they shit themselves or something.
/r/seduction21/11/21 06:15 AM

Just assure them you like them physically and it should be fine You would think so but this has never been enough in my experience. e.g. when they're already on the defensive (those weird deer in headlights vibes) in talking to me, reassurance in their looks seems to have no effect. Also, their standoffishness makes me lose interest in them as their vibe won't allow us to build any rapport, and anything like any IOIs or flirting from them is completely out of the question. So when most women my …

I don't know your age, but this wasn't girls my age either. They were 15-20 years younger than me and they were looking good as well. I'm 24. I imagine that would be a big factor. It also might be cultural differences involved. I would say this is definitely a huge factor. Interesting, for me it's been the opposite. The fitter and more attractive I become, the more standoffish and less receptive women my age has been to me. Whereas everyone else (men, older women, children) have become SUPER receptive to me.

Glad it's worked for you, even if you can't fully take advantage. I'm in quite good shape and wear very well-fitted (but not overly so) clothes, hasn't worked out for me at all though in terms of attention from the ladies
/r/seduction27/10/21 01:33 PM

For me, my number one turn off is putting zero effort into engaging me in conversation and/or trying to learn about me. Unfortunately, the majority of women I meet fall into this, they don't ask me many questions about myself even though I'm asking them about themselves.
/r/seduction27/10/21 01:25 PM
6

What do you do when women don't check you out or show any IOIs? Most women my age I encounter act weird around me, like a deer in headlights or something. They certainly don't flirt or anything. Tinder though is the complete opposite for me, like shooting fish in a barrel and the women are at least decently attractive or higher
/r/seduction27/10/21 12:56 PM
2

And when you're fit being open yet dominant seems to be the right combo. How do you do this? Like, I have sharp features (jawline, cheek bones) but I talk to women my age in a friendly way, ask them about themselves etc. They never really reciprocate though, they're quite closed off. I am assumed to be a fuckboy quite often if that matters at all (was never the case before I got in shape). So I'm not quite sure what I need to do to achieve this open yet dominant vibe.
/r/seduction24/10/21 01:00 AM

True. However, a lot of women like the fit muscular look as well but yet as I said receptiveness from women plummeted after I got in shape
/r/seduction24/10/21 12:45 AM

Why?
/r/seduction23/10/21 10:11 PM

Funnily enough, for me (M24) it's been the complete opposite since getting into great shape. Women used to be relatively friendly and would even approach from time to time when I was underweight. Now though they often seem like they're afraid of me or something and don't really engage in conversation, let alone flirt. Tinder is a completely different story, though.
/r/seduction23/10/21 10:23 AM

Maybe they are a bit touchy with the guy they like. Maybe they keep making eye contact across the dance floor. Maybe they keep initiating conversations online. M24 and I can say with certainty that women virtually never do any of those things with me nor any other IOIs so I have to disagree with the premise of the title of your OP.

But while I can be juggling a bunch of women in general, at best there might be one that I'm truly interested in. I already have the qualities I would want in a woman, it's just hard to find those qualities I want in a woman. I'm not saying I can't land those types of women, I'm saying it's hard to replace them. Sorry, I should specify. When I said majority of them will be duds, I meant as in they don't have the kinds of qualities I'd be interested in, I didn't mean dud as in they flake often. What I'm saying overall is, I usually have lots of women who I am actively talking to and they can be easily replaced. However, I still have to put up with LOTS of ghosters, flakers, time wasters, along with various red flags that pop up. Couldn't agree more. Ideally, I'd like to be in a happy relationship with the right woman. I know that I'm happier when I am. But yet with women treating me with apathy or like I'm expendable, why would I invest emotionally into that? Let alone the time and effort into making things happen
/r/seduction12/10/21 05:36 AM

While I agree with this mindset, just to play devil's advocate a bit: What if you find women are either apathetic towards towards you or treat you like you're expendable? I never get hung up on one woman (regularly get lots of tinder matches coming in) but I find 99% of the time they fall into either of the above categories. Referring to both tinder and meeting women IRL (IRL is generally worse IME). Could be a factor of where I live (I'm not in the US), people here aren't really all that bubbly…

While I agree that fitness has helped me tremendously with tinder (been able to date/fuck lots of attractive women even a few models), it's actually had the opposite effect for me IRL. Women used to be far friendlier when I was underweight and would even approach me from time to time. Yes and I said that. They perceive me as having that aura based on my appearance. Acting even slightly cocky or even alluding to anything that would imply I am in fact a player only compounds the problem. YMMV though, especially depending on location

It literally makes them fucking wet when you give this aura of treating them like a side dish Disagree. Women assume I'm a fuckboy/player based on my appearance (aka think I have plenty of side dishes and would treat her like one too) and all it does is make women more standoffish towards me. I don't live in the US though, our people are not nearly as outgoing as the US

Here's the question I have, how do you go to bars solo and approach people by yourself when the majority of people are in GROUPS (especially women)? I can talk to individuals perfectly fine but struggle with how to approach a group and keep a conversation going with all of them at once.

I'm glad it worked out so well for you! For me (M24), it's been the complete opposite experience. Was underweight and gained quite a lot of lean muscle mass and improved my style, became more confident, etc. Chased the man I needed to become and now I am it. But yet, the better I become, the less attention I get IRL. Women were decently friendly to me in the past, now they treat me like I'm a bear or something. Tinder is another story though, huge success compared to before my changes.

Stated another way, if you’re talking to a girl at a bar and really hitting it off and and she says “have a good night, it was nice talking to you” and walks away - are you going to try to talk her into staying at the bar with you. I get what you're saying and you're right but I feel in that example there's closure; she's explicitly stating her desire to end the interaction. Wouldn't ghosting be the same as if you were talking to her, really hitting it off, and then suddenly she just gets up and…

I sent her one message and one message only. It read: “whatever took you out of my life, come find me when it passes”. It’s not Shakespeare but it worked. Thank you for this line, I'll look to use it myself going forward. Have you used this line (or a similar one) before and had similar success?

If a guy asks for social media, I immediately quit talking to him. Why not just redirect the guy the another form of contact (like say your number) and just continue on from there? Makes no sense to just completely bail over something so small.
