Bought a cashier a duplicate candy bar after she said “this is my favorite”, and put my number on the back. We hung out a few times.

Bro. Marriage is a trap and the hell I went through to get out of it was more than worth it. My ex’s new husband is awesome and I feel bad for him as he’s seeing what a nut job my ex is. There is light at the end of the tunnel bro. Trust me.

Bad idea and won’t really be beneficial in the divorce unless criminal activity is suspected.

There are quite a few countries that won’t deport you and don’t care. I’ve never researched them before because my alimony was only four years.

Google “real world divorce” and read the beginning chapters as well as the chapter specific to your state. Consult with every attorney in your area your county clerk recommends. Go in person to the courthouse and ask the clerk directly if they’d recommend anyone. Ask the bailiffs and security personnel as well. Consult with each of them to conflict your ex out of it each recommended lawyer. Hire the one you trust and you perceive as competent after reading each report of said lawyers on avvo.com

So glad Jennifer Lee is getting a red pill truth about feminism. I’ve dated a few feminists, albeit briefly, but here was always my method of dealing with attempts at female supremacy. I would NEVER hold the door for them or a car door if we ever went to a nice event. She would pay for meals every other time we ate out and if she tried to go to a cheap, we would have a discussion about equality. I was asked by these few women to March in protests for equal rights. I would say that I am willing t…

Just my $0.02, the US military has become a joke. I left after 8 years of active duty years ago because of the political correctness. Now, the military is full of woke individuals, which is even worse. Your call though and all the best. I doubt you’ll see your kid much if you join either.

Our culture has been destroyed by feminism and misandry. This is coming from a man (me) who’s ex wife was incredibly physically, emotionally and financially abusive.

Narcissism is a byproduct of BPD/NPD. Women suffer from these disorders far more than men do. Amber Heard’s statement after being slammed by a multimillion dollar verdict still shows she didn’t think she did anything wrong.

I completely understand brother. Trust me when I say that the process seems like it is never ending, but once it is accomplished, the level of freedom and peace that you will have is addictive in a good way. Don’t ever give up that freedom again.

What does your lawyer say? I’d kick the door open with a bodycam on and go sleep wherever you want. If your name is on the house, it’s yours to enter.

I was there back in 2016 bro. My ex dragged it out for two years and buried her head in the sand. Unfortunately for her, I legally dissipated all of our marital assets and she was forced to split the debt for dragging it out. Tell your lawyer you want a trial date set immediately. Can you go back in the marital home or did she file a restraining order?
/r/Divorce_Men18/05/22 02:24 AM
1

Gotcha. I’m sure your attorney will have a solution.
/r/Divorce_Men17/05/22 05:58 PM

No, and not only no, but hell no. Does she have an attorney? If not, I'd take it to trial and watch her fail miserably in court. However, If she is being reasonable, and has representation, I would entertain the idea of a financial settlement, but tell your STBX that it will include review by your legal counsel.

Could be but his wording makes it sound like she left to go to California.
/r/Divorce_Men16/05/22 11:21 AM

Do not give her a dime until a court orders it. If you’re still married, file in your home state yesterday, and set jurisdiction in your home state. I highly doubt she has filed. I would drive to California and pick up your kids immediately. Why did you allow the kid to leave in the first place. She can leave, the kids can’t. Honestly bro, you sound like a complete pushover and her doormat. Sack up and get your kids back after filing.

A lot of states force the husband to foot the costs of her attorney as well.
/r/Divorce_Men16/05/22 04:11 AM

Depending on your state, there may or may not be a calculator. NEVER agree to lifetime alimony, only temporary alimony with a set end date and the verbiage “once terminated, alimony cannot be modified by any court”. Personally, if I had been given a lifetime sentence, I would have fled the US.

Women despise weak men. Any man that says he is a feminist needs to hit the iron (lift weights) and stop duplicating to women. Much of this problem is a view that masculinity is toxic. I have a great beard, long hair, and it is usually pulled back. I’ve been working out for years and still maintain a body that makes a lot of women stare. Especially when I wear a suit, which is rare these days. It’s somewhat ironic as I’ve divorced two insufferable women and wouldn’t trade my freedom for pussy. N…

This is simple, and please don't freak out about the motion. All you need to do is pay the amounts after talking to your attorney, explain the reason in writing to your ex (if your attorney advises it) and they can withdraw the motion, or they can push it, waste the courts time, and you can ask for fees, costs, and sanctions after the judge realizes the contempt has been purged. Personal anecdote. I have represented myself a few times in hearings when I couldn't afford an attorney. They filed a …

OP, you hit the nail on the fucking head dude. Is it any wonder that the modern woman love bombs you all the time at the beginning of a relationship, and the sex is fantastic, and you think if I marry this person, it’s always going to be this way? Answer: No Then, once you get married and your names are on the dotted line, they may continue this act for a couple of years, and then the demands, the constant nagging, taking away, or attempting to take away your freedom(s) becomes her main mission.…

OP, stop having sex with her immediately, and hopefully you don’t have kids. Beat her to the punch and go file yourself. Trust me, postdivorce life for a man is amazing. Don’t ever give up that freedom again.

Whenever I meet a man who says he is not allowed to do something because his wife said no, is nobody that I would ever call a friend. I’ve been married twice and divorced twice. First ex had an affair and I dropped papers on her. The second one didn’t like the state that she lived in with me, and demanded that I quit my very well paying job to move back to her home state. When I said no, she just left. These days, if you make any demands of your wife, you were considered an abusive bastard. Howe…

Amber heard is not a world renowned actress. The only movie I ever saw her in was the rum diary, and she always bothered me. Was going to say the exact same thing. Have everything printed out or send it electronically (or both). I hired a Private Investigator to uncover proof of my ex wife’s affair. When my kids got older, they confronted me about what a “monster” I was described to be. That was when I showed them the emergency custody and jurisdiction paperwork when their mother attempted to steal the children from me and move across the country to file.

Feminists don’t support actual equality even as a starting point. Feminists complain about equality but it is incredibly disingenuous when they don’t advocate for equal rights and equity for all in the family courts. Even accused pedophiles are considered innocent until proven guilty. Fathers in family court are at an automatic disadvantage., which is why the institution of marriage these days is a dead and irrelevant institution. If you actually read what I typed, and if you did, read it again.…

That sucks. However, I’d recommend breaking it off before you cheat. Fighting fire with fire in those circumstances is not a good way to go about things. I have always found out if a person I am dating cheated in their former relationships. I break it off immediately because the old adage “once a cheater, always a cheater” is true.

It’s because feminists don’t know what they want. I had a feminist as a former coworker and she would date a “nice guy” and after a few weeks she would break up with them because they were too nice. She’d date fuckboys and complain about getting pumped and dumped. Side note, she was a very unattractive woman inside and out.

Never under any circumstances tie yourself to another person financially, unless an ironclad contract is in place whether in business, or in marriage (prenuptial agreement). Marriage does not benefit men in any way. A year into my marriage, I found out that my ex-wife had been cheating, and I for gave her. I should have left then when we had only been married for a very short time.

You’re very welcome, and I want to make it very clear that I don’t know New York law on this issue. However, I do know many people who have gotten divorced in New York, and it was pretty bad for the father in every single one of their stories. Immaterial change in circumstances is typically if a parent is neglecting or abusing a child. If she starts dating somebody that is a sex offender, that can be another issue. If she has issues drinking alcohol or with drugs, that could be an issue. I would…

You're really fighting an uphill battle doing that. If you agreed to that at the onset of your divorce in the temporary orders hearing, you may be out of luck for a while. If there is not a material change in circumstances, you will also not be able to get very far, but it would be worth discussing with your attorney for 15 minutes to an hour. What I would do in the meantime is to reach out to your ex and let her know you would love to see your child more. If you have a "right of first refusal" …

Bro, I don’t even need to respond to your post after reading it. The fact that you’re looking at the mathematics of this should make you realize that it is not worth it to ever get married. If I were you, I would rather knock somebody up and have a child out of wedlock, where you were only paying child support. Otherwise, if you get married, you will owe her alimony, and half of your assets at least.
/r/Divorce_Men03/04/22 12:12 AM

Whoever wrote this article is so full of it. You’re telling men not to work out? Yet you want a man and only will be with a man who is in phenomenal shape? Feminism is cancer, and it is a hateful movement that needs to be classified as a terrorist organization. It’s tearing this country apart.

I didn’t even read the rest of your post after the first sentence. Yes she can leave, yes she can cheat, yes she will get alimony from you if you were married to her for 10 years, and if you have children you’re gonna be paying child support out your ass, and all of that money is tax-free money to her. OP, I got married at age 23. I didn’t know my ass from a hole in the ground and I did that to myself. Learned from me. Do not marry anybody until you are at least 35 years of age. I honestly would…

The dating game sucks OP. I tried it out after divorce and had a lot of fun, because that is what I told these women to expect, and to never fall in love. It's weird when you deal with women and tell them something like this, and the the opposite happens (i.e. they fall in love every time), and I kick them to the curb. OP, my ex-wife was an alcoholic as well. I would highly recommend reading Alcoholics Anonymous literature, and attending Al-Anon meetings. It has been immensely helpful in my situation.

It all depends on how agreeable the parties are. I was awarded my home during our pendente lite hearing but I wanted to sell the house immediately. You don’t necessarily need a lawyer that is in Colorado Springs. Somebody who is licensed to practice law in Colorado could live anywhere and advocate on your behalf. It’s not irrelevant. If a woman wants to do well, they should adhere to societal and gender norms. Why do you think so many women are distraught in their late 30s when they realize they have focused on careers over family. It is completely fine to do this but there are consequences if they wanted to have a family past the age of 35 (high risk of birth defects, etc.) I’m not telling anybody how they should live their life. You are absolutely correct. No man should ever date a woman who claims to be a feminist. Like you said, every single feminist I have encountered is a complete and utter failure in life. Full stop with the "I don't want to screw her over" talk. She is trying to screw you over, and your efforts to be fair are not going to bode well for you in a divorce. You should have filed immediately after she left in your jurisdiction. Depending on the state, a judge could be forced to view her actions as abandonment, and you could have been granted an immediate divorce with everything in your possession. Since you have waited, you are going to go through interstate divorce hell. Immediately …

I see this issue all the time with women, and I honestly get it. You want your own personal "female only" space, which I honestly have zero issue with. The issue I have is when women always attempt to invade male spaces, and everyone throws a hissy fit when these women can't get their way. I have a tough enough time getting my buddies over for scotch and cigars once a month, because the wives always want to come. I don't mind having them over, but guy time is important as well.

Three attorney consults minimum. For your situation, you want and need a detail oriented lawyer who can check over the agreement and let you know if you’re missing anything. Why were you spending time with her on your birthday? Have you filed yet? Check out the conversation and give it to your attorney. She made an admission of attempted extortion and that may be of interest to your legal counsel.

She is a woman, hence the pussy pass denied. The fact that you can’t see that indicates a lack of understanding on what this sub is about. Agree to disagree.
/r/PussyPassDenied16/03/22 07:28 PM

It goes against everything you were asserting. She tried to claim that she was innocent, and got thrown in jail for attempted murder as well as kidnapping. The judge didn’t accept her pussy pass.
/r/PussyPassDenied16/03/22 07:22 PM

Yes, she claims innocense, wears a nasty t-shirt to court, and is now being held without bond. This is despite her defense attorney saying she should be released.

Who claimed the children should’ve been put on your divorce decree. My ex and I split the kids, two each, and we file for those gour separately every year. If it is not in your decree, and you claim your kids, it won’t be a violation of the decree, but it is going to cost a lot of issues that might bring you back to Family Court. I would recommend speaking to your lawyer about this, as they should have put this in the agreement to begin with.

As a former US military member who left for many reasons (this included) was because being a warrior is not as important as diversity and inclusion. I served with many badass females who never used their gender as a crutch or an excuse. Even better was when these women would dress down the females who tried to pull their privilege.

Ah, so you are making assumptions about my testosterone levels and the way I work out. I don’t have to prove anything on Reddit to anyone but here it goes. That's where I disagree with you again. While I would say do not fight dirty, you need to mount the best defense you can. Well aware of the percentages and I agree with you. I flipped the script and filed on my ex wife after she was arrested for domestic violence. She got hit with a freight train because she was an abusive alcoholic. This fact assisted me getting a 50/50 physical and legal custody, but my lawyer told me I would have received sole custody in a more father friendly state.

If you find a non-feminist therapist (they exist), counseling can be very effective. However, it is very rare these days. Our female marriage therapist was a Veteran, a lesbian, and completely neutral. The therapist listened to both of our sides separately and pulled us in together. She lambasted my ex wife for being so selfish and narcissistic. I didn’t know in some instances but I was the one being verbally, physically and emotionally abused. She also told my ex that most women would kill for …

Agree wholeheartedly. This is why young men need to be trained to be kind and not nice. No special treatment for any gender, especially women. I’ve had random women at work carrying things and they have asked me to assist them. I always say “no thanks, I’ve got a bad back (a true statement). If you want women, not marriage, do the exact opposite of the nice guy. You won’t get used unless you allow yourself to be used.

Marriage counseling in this instance is not a bad idea. She has a past trauma that she needs to deal with. If she is using that as an excuse not to be intimate, that is a problem. Marriage counseling is a fucking joke in most cases, but I went to marriage counseling anyway to be able to tell my sons and daughters that I tried to save my marriage. I would walk into therapy with a sheet of paper with the goal of “re-establishing” intimacy in the marriage. Give it to your lawyer so that when she co…

OP, I highly recommend that you go to therapy with an open mind. Be willing to share everything that you just told us. If your wife is not willing to make any concessions to your feelings, that is a huge problem. I understand that she has past trauma that she needs to work through, but she committed to be a wife and to be with you intimately, as a friend, and as a partner in life. Let your therapist know that this is your goal to get back to. Husbands need sex and physical intimacy with their wi…

You’re very welcome. I’m glad the custody is not gonna be an issue, is that can become one of the most acrimonious times during divorce. It sounds like she might even agree to less custody. Bro, as the father of sons, I understand. I spent over $120K in legal fees to get 50/50 time with my kids and although it was tough to nearly declare bankruptcy, it was worth it. My recommendations follow, since I do not know what your profession is. If you work long hours, or have to be away on travel a lot, that doesn’t provide stability for your children. If you have a job where you are able to care for your sons regularly, you have a great chance of getting 50/50 custody. My attorney gave me…

Certain states (Texas is one) sometimes have who can take the children for haircuts and who cannot. This is an extreme overreach in my opinion. The fact that the mother is doing this in front of the children is very disturbing. During the beginning and during the divorce, meet publicly, exchange the kids, and don’t say a fucking word. Sounds like you’ll pay some alimony due to the length of the marriage but use this as a bargaining tool. Make selling the home top priority with your attorney. OP, you will NEVER make the modern woman happy. What your ex doesn’t realize is that while she thinks she will be “free and independent” she will be viewed as used goods to all men as a single mother. Abortion is the murder of a child. I highly recommend you look up “abortion sonogram” so you can literally see a child getting ripped apart on camera. After this event, the abortion doctor never performed an abortion again after seeing the child scream inside the womb. As far as jobs are concerned, I refuse to mentor women in…

You're absolutely full of it if you think an "entire system was created to benefit men". You are also wrong about the majority of fathers railroaded by the family courts, as you fail to provide any data to your assertion. I run a group for single dad outreach and 100% of them want more time with their children, but cannot afford justice. The system, which is created and run by men and women, is to benefit all of society, not just men. Do you enjoy your air conditioning, your electric, and your p…

Men are forced in the US to join selective service at age 18. Women are not. If we want true equality, gender is ignored, and everyone gets treated the same. This is my goal as an egalitarian but feminism is purely an evil mindset that advocates for supremacy over men.

Most judges don’t give two shits about women committing perjury in divorce proceedings. That said, it seems as if you may need a new attorney who won’t churn for fees and get you further than where you are in two years.

OP, stop discussing anything with your ex related to your divorce. She is no longer your wife, except on paper. Accept nothing other than 50/50 legal and physical custody. Depending on your state, she will owe you support. You are also a prime candidate for a false DV charge to get you out of your home. Go to Best Buy or Walmart today and get two audio recorders. Keep them running at all times. PM me if you have further questions

Any person who claims to be "independent" is not truly independent. I remember going out with this woman who got completely drunk (on her own dime) while on a date with me. She started off as the "empowered" and "independent" type, and quickly regressed back into the "I'm the only one of my friends who isn't married, my multiple jobs suck and bring in no money, etc." I noped right out of there shortly afterward.

Dealing with those waves of grief is imperative for self-growth and understanding. The "spark" is exactly as you describe it and it wears off very quickly. I view relationships as investments, and I've never gotten an ounce of return as meaningful as I've been given. I'll give you an example. The last Christmas my ex wife and I spent together was horrible and I had to go take a shower after opening presents with our children. I really enjoy listening to my partner's wants, needs and desires, and…

Never date or marry someone with this toxic mentality. Trust me when I say this. My ex wife's parents paid for everything for her; even for her attorney's fees during our protracted divorce, and for a home for her to live in after she cheated and the judge kicked her out of the marital home for being abusive.

"My life is a mess" is the ultimate red flag here. What she fails to mention here is that all of the "mess[es]" she has created in her life are due to her poor decision-making skills. It's not a wise idea to be within arm's reach of a person like this. Additionally, she's a mom "but, it's a complicated situation". This means she doesn't have custody of her children for some reason, and if a feminist judge took custody away from her, then that is a huge red flag.

OP, I completely understand how you feel, and I am very glad to see you are in therapy. I remember the first time I made love to a beautiful woman when I was separated and awaiting divorce from my now ex wife. After she left my previous residence, I wept and it was very cathartic. My advice, and take it for what it is worth is to take your time getting to know this woman. Agreed. I always ask women who say men are grooming when dating younger women the following question. "Is she not empowered enough to make an adult decision and choose to be with someone?" I have never gotten a coherent answer. I then ask "Not that I give a shit about your opinion, but what is an acceptable age range for you?" and I still don't get a coherent answer. American women are growing more and more unhappy by the day. Nothing is ever good enough for them, and something always has to be …

You’re welcome. This doesn’t mean the children aren’t a priority as you know. Older feminists are cat ladies who die alone. I remember a movie quote that said something like this "Women understand each other, which is why all women hate each other". Alimony is a very real thing. How many years would you have to pay being married ten years? Typically, shorter term marriages don’t have any alimony awarded but the unwritten rule in my state is that you pay alimony for half of the length of marriage if married 10 years or more, and lifetime alimony if married 20 years or more. I’ve also seen lifetime alimony awarded at 18 years as well.

OP, just set a court date for trial and tell your attorney to do as little work as possible until then. I would also ask for sanctions against your ex because she is deliberately playing victim and delaying a final solution. Women, like your ex, usually think they will get everything including the kitchen sink. My divorce lasted a little over two years, and I got everything I wanted, and nothing was unexpected. I matched with a beautiful woman who admitted early on in our conversation that she was asexual. I asked her to clarify and we would be able to date but NEVER have sex. I unmatched without any explanation. Sex is an important part of any relationship, and people should not be on dating sites if they're asexual. Go find a group of likeminded folks to hang out with.

A woman whom you marry is at her best behavior, attractiveness, and child-rearing ability. No man should ever marry if they want sex or love. The only reason a man used to get married is to start a family. I wouldn't even recommend this line of logic anymore, even with an ironclad prenuptial agreement. There is ZERO reason for a man to get married and procreate in this society. Save up and hire a surrogate if you want children who won't be taken away from you...well maybe.

I have a very good friend who divorced his wife when she quit her job abruptly before they had children. It was at that time she told him she wanted to have kids and be a stay at home mother. I'm a fan of Kevin Samuels as he calls it as it is despite the race/gender of the individual caller. OP, don’t agree to the keep payment. She can get a cheaper vehicle and pay for it herself. Make sure you’re off the loan if you’re already on it. Sell the home and split the equity 50/50 after taxes unless capital gains tax requires more. Only pay for what the CS calculator in your state says.
/r/Divorce_Men31/12/21 05:05 PM

Here is what you need to do, and my lawyer told me it was a brilliant way to cope with having to pay CS. If you have to pay 1800 and you have the kids 50/50, as I do, you can divide 1800 by the amount of hours she has them. The average month has roughly 30 days, so you would multiply 15x24=360 hours. She is essentially getting $5 per hour to watch and spend time with the kids.

Dumbass doesn't realize men settle too. The woman is most attractive during the first meeting and a year or two after (usually 90 days though for women until they show their true colors/crazy). Everyone chooses who they grow old with. Do you really think our grandparents wouldn't have left each other back in the day? Hell yes they would have left each other. However, people who have been married always take used to take their vows seriously.

This is one of the only ways to do it legally. While I'd love to see some family courthouses burning to the ground, that isn't really the answer. Although I wouldn't piss on the ashes to put them out. The best thing we can do is educate men in all settings (church, family, relatives, etc.) so they know what they are in for. The issue is that they are accusing a powerful person who supposedly used their influence to get sexual favors for roles in movies. I don't see an issue there, as it is an exchange for goods and services. Does it make it right? It depends. Is it sexual assault after they regretted the act years later to try and be an opportunist to get back in the limelight? Definitely not. There are a lot of Hollywood actresses over the past 20 years who I really wondered who they performed favors for to get in…

My understanding is that men got the kids in divorce up until the 1960s when the shift toward the sexual revolution and the establishment of the Tender Year’s Doctrine. While the Tender Year’s Doctrine has been done away with, which is a great thing, the majority of family courts side with the lower earner (typically mom, although we are seeing stay at home fathers gain the majority of custody and even receive child support (see Kelly Clarkson, Halle Berry, and many more).

I've had two women suggest open relationships during my dating days. I've also observed this behavior in relationships as well where people were swingers, or in open relationships. In 100% of the observed instances, the relationships failed spectacularly and in public settings causing extreme embarrassment for everyone involved and their families. When the women suggested open relationships to me, I said yes each time. Then I proceeded to tell them that the mere suggestion of an open relationshi…

If either parent is forcing activities then it will be viewed as a bad thing. That's why there has to be language about "mutually agreed upon activities" because if she has legal custody and that verbiage is not in there, you will have to pay for each and every activity she demands.

It could be later when your kid is older. My ex and I have a clause which states "Agreed upon extracurricular activities cost will be divided pro rata to income." We don't have anything in there to state either parent will bring them, but my ex and I get along now (it took four years to get to this stage). If it is a sport, just write it down in your detailed journal. Have your lawyer mention this to your ex's attorney and that it is starting to become an issue. Usually, courts will only view th…

I’m an infrequent church goer and it’s worse from the Christian men in some instances. There have been a few times when I’ve been chided by the men for wanting nothing to do with women they try to set me up with. It was almost like I was expected to be Captain Save-a-Hoe, to a struggling single mother who joined the church.

This is a great question. I should mention that while I have been divorced for years, I am not bitter, and fought tooth and nail to secure a custodial schedule which provides week on/week off time with their mom. I think this is important to mention because when I discuss a lack of need for marriage, I am consistently attacked by people who ask "who hurt you?" and "you're just a person who experienced a failed relationship and you are bitter". I have been far happier without a wife or a girlfrie…

My non-legal advice is for you to file immediately with the assistance of a skilled and well known attorney in your area. If your STBXW loses her job, and you haven't filed yet, she will argue that being fired has killed her future chances of employment. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may be required to pay all of the bills, alimony, and child support (could be temporary or permanent), but that depends on the judge, not the law. You are at the beginning of this process, and appear to be nai…

Best comment so far goes to you good sir. I dated a woman who was on a compressed schedule for children. She wanted more kids despite having high risk pregnancies with her two existing children. I told her I refused to marry and that kids were off the table. That relationship ended quickly after that as I broke it off. It’s the only time I’ve ever dated a single mother and I won’t be doing that again.

OP, realize that you can only control how you feel about things and how you deal with things. Your wife's happiness is not your concern and you should not do things to make her happy. She needs to find that in herself, but there may be other issues. Is your wife going through menopause? Changing hormones are a real thing, especially for women. OP, I understand the sentiment, as you appear to view the verbiage to "get a lawyer" as lazy. However, a lot of people post here under a panic when the divorce process gets started. Also, there are men out there who appear to want to repair a broken marriage simply to get out of losing half or more of their assets, as well as substantial child support payments and alimony. Agreed, except I'm glad I have my kids despite my ex. She's now remarried and miserable. I don't wish her ill, but I wouldn't have married her knowing what I know now. Marriage in the Biblical sense is the husband being head of the household, but that does not make the wife in a lower caste than the man. Feminism killed marriage, and that is one of the main reasons why we see marriage and child birth rates plummeting in this day and age.

It is. I dated a single mother a decade ago once but only after I found out her husband cheated on her and abused her. The court records backed up her assertions as well. However, she was a terrible parent to her kids, and her kids have grown up to be useless human beings. I would never date a woman who divorced her husband for irreconcilable differences, or because she ran out of desire and passion for her former spouse. There are far too many to tell. The best one was when one of the deacons in my former church tried to set me up with a young and ridiculously hot single mom. In my younger years, I would have been all over that for the sex, but being mid 40s at the time, I said I was not interested. Basically, this deacon was trying to get me to take care of her as I was a divorced father with a great job and substantial assets to my name. Family law throughout the world needs overall reform. In my opinion, divorce/custody cases should not be overseen by judges, but by forced arbitration with a neutral third party. Parties attempting to delay the process should be punished/fined/sanctioned accordingly. Custody needs to start with a rebuttable presumption of 50/50 shared parenting regardless of either parent's wishes. I have week on/week off custody of my children, and they are all thriving in school, athletics, and in their social…

Love is good but never worth it in the end. I can honestly say that I've never met a man who enjoyed being married. The hen-pecking (i.e. nagging) makes it a raw deal for any man. There is no need to put pen to paper and lose half or more of your assets in a messy divorce.

This is the best advice I've given anyone. Had a buddy who was all rosy eyed with his new girl and they were engaged to be married. I talked him into getting a prenup (despite the fact they get thrown out all the time) and his fiance flipped her lid on him. He's a high earner now in his early 30s and he swallowed that jagged red pill and broke it off with her. You can't lose if you refuse to play the game.

It should be exempt, but it is not. State courts routinely jump the gun on this and establish child support and alimony amounts using VA Pension/Compensation as a basis for a higher award. There is a man in Texas named Greg Parsons who has attempted to sue the federal government on various occasions to establish case law against family courts doing this.
