Care to point me in the direction of crypto-currency reading? I'm not up to date on this issue.

The only "productivity" you need to be working on is producing babies. Barefoot and in the kitchen, woman.

Honestly, I deeply regret going to reed. Hard school, and good stem programs, but as I'm approaching 30 I'm only now realizing how much they'd indoctrinated me into their bullshit elitist view of the world. It's a strange community where everyone thinks they're better than the rest of the world, bbut at the same time they hate themselves. Despite their claim to learning for the sake of knowledge ( you don't learn your grades until graduation) it is an intensely competitive school. Totally toxic …

You know, I don't disagree with you. But I think there are stages to understanding. First you aspire to Buddha, then you surpass Buddha, then you surpass yourself. I understand what you are saying, but I think you need to reach Buddha before you surpass yourself. Its difficult to articulate, but do you get what I mean?

To me it means not to self-limit. Its good to have heroes and role models to aspire to, but it becomes limiting if you start to think that you can't reach past them, as if they're some sort of super human. Eventually we all have to decide how we want to live and what we want to achieve.

Something I've been thinking of lately is the nature of shame in my life. My conclusion has been that what I'm ashamed of is not myself or my own actions, but having my real self revealed. Through most of my life I've presented a fake version of myself, a mask for the rest of the world, so I don't have to defend my true nature against people who wouldn't like the real me. When the mask slips, people see who I am and reject me, time and again. What I've realized is that there is too great of a di…

You've lost nothing butthead. Its good that you're reading. Read, lift, and find older men you can trust to mentor you. Work for someone else because you don't know shit yet. You're fine, you just think you know everything because you don't have any life experience yet.

What? If you take a higher paying position you can retire sooner. And you'll develop skills you can apply to the second half of your life. I for one am not planning on working full time into my 50s and 60s.

Here's the thing. Weapons are usually going too far. They're the nuclear option. That's why its nice to have some defensive training. So that when somebody throws a punch you have other, more reasonable options. There are other less tangible benefits as well. For example, I have friends who are very serious about concealed carry and schedule their day around maximizing the amount of time they can have their weapon on them. That's going too far, and its an unhealthy preoccupation. Life is risky, …

Yes, there is nothing you can say to alter my view. You are putting yourself in situations where people are on drugs. Avoiding this would probably be step one in avoiding needless fighting. If the place where you live is filled with drugs and people fighting all the time, its not a suitable place to live. Move and make a better life somewhere else. There is always somebody tougher than you no matter how much you train. There are tons of people who carry weapons. Boxing, wrestling, and bjj are fu…

I disagree man. There is a predicable build up to most fights, and you can interrupt that build up after you learn to recognize it. Also, I think its easier to take back and choke them out, but you're probably a better boxer than me lol.

I read your post dude. Its my experience that almost every situation can be deescalated. I had a tweeker waving a knife in my face and talked my way out of it, you know? All I'm saying is that when you're trained, you develop a certain frame which makes it way easy to 1) avoid situations which are escalating, and 2) deescalate situations which are getting out of control. Also, I'd say that there's no such thing as fights that just happen. If this is happening every weekend you are part of the pr…

Also, why the fuck are you getting in fights? One of the things you'll pick up in training is the physical confidence to shrug off insults and threats. When you know how to fight, you never actually do. The only dudes who are trained and also pick fights are the ones who are massively insecure in other aspects of their life.

Did jits for about ten years. Its a blast, and it's one of the few where you can regularly go full contact without injury. I did boxing and I got concussions, I did judo and I broke my leg, I wrestled and I busted a rib. Not to say you shouldn't do those too, but Jiujitsu has a really low injury rate, and it works pretty damn well.

I don't know the stats, but I'd guess that most women's positions are nonessential. If all women left the workforce, we'd have to restructure to a flatter hierarchy, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. I have a suspicion that the mass entrance of women to the workforce in non productive roles (I.e. the office ladies) is a major contributor to the depreciation of real wages in the last 30 years.

You should redpill yourself on morality. If there are no gods (and let's be real, there probably aren't), then morality is a human construction. So we know that morality is not objective. It can be argued, as u/illimitableman did in a recent post, that morality is adaptive in human society. That is, that moral behavior is advantageous. Let's assume this to be the case; then actions are not moral or immoral, but advantageous or disadvantageous. It is up to each player to play to their own advanta…

Wrong sub. 2. Read the sidebar ( all of it is really important). 3. Ignore her feelings, they are meaningless because they change so rapidly. They are only useful as an indicator that she's interested. 4. Introduce dread game. Start paying more attention to her friends than to her, and start setting up a golden parachute of pussy in the event that this relationship craps out. Women do it, why shouldn't you? 5. Don't fucking text her so much.

From a family of working chefs here (and yet none of our women can cook worth a damn). This comment chain spoke to me more than anything else I've read on trp. When I cook with a woman who can't take direction or dice properly it makes the vein in my forehead stand out.

You know, that is actually how it should work. And in some cases it does. But not a lot of dudes can handle having their ex slammed by a close friend. Its a blow to the ego, and if you value this dudes friendship either don't do it or talk to him about it first. This is the type of shit that fucks up friendships. And to clarify, I say you're in the scarcity mindset because there is literally an entire world full of easy pussy out there. Why take a risk with your friendship? Friends are way more …

Well duh, but its not effortless is it? There is a cost, and that cost is the strain it will put on your friendship. I can understand fucking girls that are dating or married to a dude you're not friends with, but this shit is just weak unless you run it by him first and actually believe he's cool with it. So either you don't give a shit about this dude, or you're a slave to easy pussy and have no backbone.

You should read some rational male. I just discovered the red pill a few weeks ago and I'm working my way through his archive. Answers a lot of my questions as they arise. I think you're right to want to share it, but you need to be able to tell who's ready for it, and who's actively hostile to it.

Its because its a waste of energy, and never works out. All you do is estrange yourself from people who would otherwise be useful. Part of taking the red pill is understanding that there are those who have a vested interest in maintaining their illusions. They don't care about the truth. They care about validating their current worldview because anything which challenges that world view challenges their sense of identity. People only find the red pill when they realize the shit they've always be…

Here's the thing boss, you really should read the sidebar. It is articulated quite eloquently by men with diverse experience in the sidebar. Thats why its in the sidebar. Red pill is a philosophy, a world view. This world view can be liberating, but the painful truths it tells can make you bitter if you're a lesser man. As a traditional christian (which I take you too be) you have an advantage because most red pill truth exists in the old testament. The essence of red pill is seeing the world as…

I was a chef for ten years. Did my apprenticeship in France when I was 17, worked in every kind of shithole, and eventually made it to sous. You know what I made after ten years? 13 per hour. Get out buddy. Its a great community, and the skills you learn are valuable, but the sooner you're out the sooner you can make a real life. Also my favorite kitchen game was to press up against my chefs back and whisper "behind" then slowly fade back and call him a fag. He hated that lol.

No luck about it. I did the work. I maintained email and text records, made a timeline of the event, and faced her advocate blow for blow. My luck was that I was not born a lesser man. I could easily have lost my case. I believe that we are in the middle of a moral panic. We'll come through it eventually, but our technology will make the current line of feminist reasoning obsolete before it runs its natural course.

I was falsely accused of rape by a one night stand in college. I successfully defended myself in the college judicial process ( I.e. I eviscerated her insane arguments). I mention this because this is something I've thought deeply about. The answer is Google glasses. We're losing privacy. Look at the response to the Ferguson riots. More cops wired with cameras. In the next decade we'll have to reevaluate what privacy means, because everything will be wired to record. There will be no more he sai…

I respectfully disagree. The idea that there is something morally wrong about cuckolding this dude(the fiancée) is a remnant of blue pill conditioning. You've read the side bar. You know that AWALT. Accept the reality that a ho is gonna ho. It is not a moral decision because women are not moral actors. They are emotional actors, and if you accept reality and act according to you're best interests you are a rational actor.

It seems to me that the right way to treat women is the same as how you treat little children. Women are for the most part insulated from consequence, and it is consequence which forces a man to mature. So treat them with kindness and patience because they don't know any better. If you are angry at the way women act, it probably is your own insecurity that is causing you to feel that way. If you like yourself and the lifestyle you have earned, what is there to be angry about? The injustice of it…
