Have them report to you. Don't report to them.

Avoid being in any non-work settings, especially with alcohol.

Make sure you validate any secretaries/admin assistants of the CEO, President, CIO and be well throught of by the HR director (usually a woman). They will blow out your reputation with the executives if you cross them. Many executives treat a long term assistant as a defacto member of their family... a second "work wife" if you will... and one who doesn't give them disrespectful shit like their "home wife".

When forced to listen to tribal gossip in the office, use amused mastery and walk away as quickly as possible.

Let them know your 100% unavailable and shut down or ignore any friendly flirting.

If given the choice to promote and man or woman to be near you or know your thoughts and keep a secret, take the man.

Never shit where you eat. Never give the appearance to anyone that you have any interest in any female at your workplace. Imagine they all have a STD... career-AIDS. Even the hottest super-model is brought to a SMV of zero if she has full blown AIDS.

I was negging one of my coleagues so hard she almost stopped talking to me. This one time she was mentioning something about how she sometimes wears and sometimes doesn't wear a makeup to which I promptly responded "so are you wearing it now or not? i can't figure it out" she gave me the dead look. That tall blonde type with ultrahigh self-esteem.

On the other hand, I made a pretty strong bond with my other (and much hotter) coleague recently, at the end of the party she was kinoing the hell out of me. Only problem is, she is about 10 years older than me but maaan, she must have been hot in my age...
