100% my ex was and still is a porn addict. He'd hole up in the bathroom, shameful AF, would bring a laptop and TV tray in there. Disgusting. Our intimacy dwindled to nothing. On the rare occasion we did have sex he struggled to finish. I thought it was my fault. He preferred his vice grip cum claw to the touch of a woman. It really fucks with your head if you're dating one of these losers. You are worth so much more. You deserve to be valued and cherished, made to feel sexy but not oppressed. An…

You are going to be so much happier soon. Get it done. Use PTO if you need to. Refer to this post of you have second thoughts or doubts. You're going to be 20x better off without him dragging you down. You can do this.

The only acceptable "other outlet" is masturbation. Such assholes.

My father actually missed the Superbowl because I was born. Had a ticket and everything. I was born 2-3 days beforehand. He wasn't about to miss my birth for a second because he's not a piece of shit like this loser. Too many men have their priorities way out of whack.

I'm a Xennial at 35. I prefer a gap of 0-3 years. I wasted most of my 20s with a Gen X NVM who was 6 years older and it was unhealthy and unbalanced. 21 and 27 to start. He was a manipulative, LYING mooch and his taste in music didn't align, which sounds like a non-issue but it's important to have shared experiences and mutual respect. I'm 6 months older than my current man and it's wonderful to be equals and have an actual partner.

I never cared about a man's education level. I have dated two men who didn't have a college degree. The first was a college dropout who thought he was smarter than me, turned out to be misogynistic and was very condescending toward me, despite the fact I regrettably supported the both of us. When I got a raise or a new job, he didn't think I deserved it. He was and likely continues to be absolutely atrocious with money. A short sighted spender hoarder. He was a total mooch, YouTube star wannabe,…

The grandmother and her love for mountain dew was the best part. Pretty anticlimactic film IMO.

Him: "Do you want anything from the grocery store?" Me: "Uhh nah, I'm good." Him: "Got it. I'll peruse the baked goods aisle." Comes home with cinnamon loaf. Om nom nom nom.

That's a nice group on Facebook called respectfully childfree. Not every poster has good intentions (there are some brainwashed poly women and dudes looking for help with their OLD profile) but for the most part it's a good group. No use of the term crotchfruit allowed.

I was just watching compilation videos of proposal rejections on YouTube last night. Never propose of you don't already know the answer! These women fled for their lives. And there's always some jackass man in the crowd yelling out telling her to just say yes! Good on them for being brave enough to say no.

My dad had Superbowl tickets and his home team was playing coincidentally in the same city my family moved to the year prior. It's like the sports experience of a lifetime, but he missed it because I was born 2-3 days before. A man with his priorities straight is so attractive and hard to find these days.

Through a mutual friend in highschool. We were friends first for many years before we finally started dating in our early 30s. The chemistry was there from the start but we didn't date sooner because I thought I was in love with my NVX. I wasted my 20s hopelessly devoted to a total loser who never deserved me.

My aunt is mid 50s and looks similarly amazing. I recently told her she's goals and my female cousins all agreed. Don't hesitate to complement each other, ladies. Build each other up.

Never again. I'm 6 months older than my current man and it's night and day the difference in level of respect given. He's my equal. No more condescending old pricks for me. No more tolerating mansplaining.

I can't do casual either. I'm 35 and have been with only 2 men. Oh, and they were each well above average in dick size. Have some self respect, sisters.

I don't want to even think about it, let alone talk about it. He cost me well over $50,000. Probably closer to $100,000. I'm not in debt anymore but I was for so many years because of him. Let's just say I'm looking at buying my first home at 35 instead of 25 because of him.

I know a married couple where he's 51 and she's 35. He has adult kids with an ex wife. Things get a little awkward when his kids come over to their house. I couldn't do it. I don't know how she does or what she was thinking.

Actually 17. She's ALMOST 28. So they started dating at 22 and 39. Barf.

Yuck. No, honey. Men can control themselves. They just don't want to control themselves. It's a choice. It's always a choice. I wasted my 20s on potential. Girl, the potential never turned to anything. He's in his 40s working at a fucking call center now. Lmao. Life is too short!

Warning: long and rambling. Sorry. I didn't experience a healthy relationship until my 30s. I practically had to retrain my brain. For me, I got together with an old friend, someone I trusted and had vetted for several years. The chemistry was there from the start but the timing didn't align for a long time. We started with a foundation of trust, mutual respect, and affection for one another. I had to work on communication. My parents' abusive relationship and divorce really fucked me up to the …

Foreplay. It's also his job to make you feel sexy. Of course there has to be a base level of attraction. If there's not, he's not it.

A HVM would have put you to bed when you said you were too drunk. And not make advances on you the rest of the night. He should want you to be able to consent. He should make you feel safe and this loser did the opposite!

Same, but I'm starting to think it has to do with the size of men I've been with. Nothing sub 7 inches. And girth matters too.

I won't watch the show. One of my best female friends did some work for Carole in the past. I trust and respect my friend's judgement. Carole is a real person who cares for these big cats. That's all. This is just a case of sensationalized drama for profit.

I do pretty well for myself with my BA in English Lit. Can't imagine letting anyone put me down for finishing my degree and having my shit together professionally. I don't have time to defend why I'm awesome when it should be readily apparent. As for work, it's a symbiotic relationship between STEM and humanities. I work in engineering and I'm extremely glad the culture doesn't tolerate misogyny.

She's in a much better place now. It's been 15 years. She's back in school finally finishing her degree, a boss bitch mom of two wonderful kids. We've been friends since 93. :) Love your sisters, everyone. Encourage and be proud of each other.

I loved that show. I didn't like the one woman's parents telling her to lie about how she didn't want kids, but then loved it when she didn't take their dumb advice.

This is exactly what happened to me. Dead bedroom for 9 months before I had enough and the resentment built up enough to drive me to leave. Every woman deserves to feel desired by her partner.

You deserve to be attracted to your partner/lover. You're not, so I'd end things to give him a chance to find someone who is.

After 27 years of marriage, my mom got half of all assets, 9 years of alimony, plus half of my dad's pension. And she worked part time as a nurse when they divorced (was SAHM for 12 years). OP should realize he's better of staying together.

I think that's a more than reasonable expectation. The average cost of an engagement ring is currently $5,500. $2,000-$3,500 would probably be the sweet spot.

I just looked it up and the average cost of an engagement ring is currently $5,500 USD. Higher than I expected, but it makes sense.
