I used to be right there with you, and it freaking sucks. Talk to some friends, try not to be alone, it really helps to get that suicidal edge off, and find some small work that will keep you busy and bring in income. I dropped out of college as well, and joined the military, fast forward to present and I‘m living solo with some options for the future. I use a Samsung Gear VR, it fits over my glasses and it uses my samsung galaxy phone. I can being it with me everywhere, as opposed to oculus cuz u need a computer/laptop. No experience with the oculus, can only attest to the immersiveness of gear vr
