My wife has said this kind of thing to me a few times. I tell her a relationship without sex is like a car without gas. We aren't going anywhere.

With my wife, I've noticed that if I don't deserve it, then she doesn't do these things. If I do deserve the respect, then it's not a question. It kind of makes sense, except that it's usually based on my behavior, and whether or not I think I deserve it. Took a while for me to figure that out. All that being said, if/ when y'all do overcome the need to challenge a guy even when he "deserves" the challenge, it's great. For me, that's a much more effective tool to get me to step it up. It's worki…

Yep. Saying he made me do this or she made you do that... just means you are powerless to do anything. Admitting fault is very powerful. Responsibility for yourself means you are in control of yourself. That being said, he's 14 and has to operate under their rules.

I walked to another room to unpack where my girlfriend finally comes in 5 minutes later and jumps on me, wrapping her legs around me and kissing me deeply. I later was sick to my stomach about this part. She's really happy to see me and I don't sense anything's wrong. Real common for someone who cheated to do this. They got a desire fulfilled and feel phenomenal.

Huh? If you're stepping outside of your frame (for whatever ludicrous reason you're putting there), you're dropping your SMV below her's instantly and she's responding exactly how she should. My original guess is correct.

Woah. Woah. Woah. This subreddit is about sexual strategy. Not life counseling. You need to figure out what you want. If in the US, then I'll give my usual advice... if you or your parents can afford for you to pay for college than do it they check or scholarship. Don't take on debt. If you are going to take on debt to get a degree, get an apprenticeship through the DOL in a high demand area. They'll pay you to learn a high demand skill. Then get your degree paid for by your employer. Most emplo…

Let it go as a waste. Here is what you are dealing with: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunk_costs Because you've invested time, you feel like investing more time is worth it. If I had to hazard a guess, she's a higher SMV and your subconscious is panicked. For me, my wife and I have switched "who is higher SMV" several times. What happens each time is that one or the other is really confused about it. How to tell if it's a real question or a shit test: if asking "why do you need to know?" yields a hamster (you need to learn when wheels are spinning in your head or hers- rationalization), then it's a shit test, let her try to explain it and enjoy the fool's show... la…

One of the qualities that I picked my wife based on was that she'd only ever slept with me. I think I'm pretty high quality. At the time, not so much, so maybe I need to rethink it.

Eh, if I were a quality woman and a dude is face fucking a chic within an hour of meeting her, I'd consider him low value too. Consider this, folks, if you are low value, you will attract low value women. They may be hot, but they are trash.

I guess I was gone for a couple days and missed your litmus test... to respond to it in this thread, my pre trp days, my wife said to me way to many times that "while she isn't perfect, she had gotten better." Wow, what a way to exactly example what you are saying. She was unwilling to say that she had failed WHILE ADMITTING TO IT. There is no change. Even today, the best way to make sure she runs around making sure the house is perfect is to invite friends over. She'll keep it perfect for weeks…

I like reading RPW. So we have a list from the mods in ways to not contribute, do you have any ways that you would like us to contribute? It's fine if y'all want your own space, I enjoy reading some of this shit (death to feminism, who doesn't like that?). Instead of saying "stop doing this!" Why don't you just say gtfo to all males? That seems to be an acceptable way to go, and the general feeling of late.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Gamma+Male Depends on who's list you use, the semantics don't matter. From the context, I assumed he meant someone doing something weird that really shouldn't work but ends up fine for that person. Aka, if it works for you, then fine, do it.

Just to make sure you understand, traditionally gammas are not the opposite of alphas. They are the people that have bucked the system altogether and smash just as much tail as an alpha. Gammas are rare and annoy the shit out of alphas.. ... at least if what I'm understanding he's saying. Gammas AREN'T omega, beta, or alpha at all, they play by different rules.

"I just wanted to play some cards. I like cards. Do you want sex?" Ask that with an honest look on your face and then when she realizes how ridiculous it is, laugh with her. If a woman is telling you this, though, and doesn't respond well to something like what I said, it's a way that she's going to tell you that she doesn't see you in that light. Move on in that case.
/r/askTRP13/06/14 05:07 AM

Just keep subjecting yourself to it and do some internalizing after it happens every time. Think about it from other perspectives... "How did I do?" "How did other people see me behaving?" "How can I improve?" If you keep asking yourself those questions and having an honest internal discussion, you'll eventually get to where you need to go.
/r/askTRP13/06/14 05:06 AM

Just avoid it. It's standard practice that a dude like that will actually not appreciate you for trying. He'll blame you for the whole thing if you intercede. Better to let him do stupid shit and learn from it or not.. it's not your job, it's not your place... that's just how it is.

Yeah, I guess it depends. My wife went to see that stars in her eyes movie with a group of her friends, and then last weekend went to dinner with a few. Any time I see someone using as many quotations around words like your using, I realize that they are applying their own connotations to words. The first case: the correct response was made. People should have stepped in. Second scene isn't believable... that's not how it happens. So people were laughing. Laughing was actually developed in primates as a way to signal to other primates as a way to quickly signal "someone got hurt, but future danger doesn't exist. Move along." These people's subconscious took over and realized the truth of the situation. This isn't actually "the society we live in" as if it were ever different. It's the r…

I lost a ton of weight around ten years ago, but still have some small a cup moobs. I've thought about getting rid of them with surgery but it really hasn't hindered anything. "Hate" "love" These are outward presentations of the 5 basic feelings. The correct terminology... feminists are FEARFUL of alphas. It's about a sexual marketplace. Think about yourself in terms of a stock that goes up and down depending on how you perform. Some people get in early, some invest in bluechips late. Either way, a day to day valuation comes down to what people will buy you for, sell you for, and who is willing to hold on until later. That being the case, you have to look at who you are competing against. Who is better than a premed doc for an early investor? Be prepared for woman that are just short of amazing. …

It's definitely about taking ownership. That's why I said: I'd say that I failed if that is how it turned out. If I were the parent of a murderer and a priest, I'd say I failed with the murderer, and would be mixed about the other. This is very simple, and you are over complicating it. I would hope that my kids would have some positive momentum out of the house, instead of instantly spiraling down the drain after my support was withdrawn. Parenting doesn't end at 18. I can say this about the parenting style: it led to raising a pornstar. Whatever it was, I'd say that is de facto "bad parenting." Oh yea I liked that rule. Jesus taught that one... "turn the other cheek" Closer examination of that statement reveals a clever manipulation of the culture at the time. If they want to slap you again they have to do it with their palm, which was a statement of equality. It does not mean "put up with abuse," it's exactly like the rule... turn weakness and sur…

There are alpha and beta DHVs and DLVs. Alpha doesn't = good 100% of the time, and beta isn't bad 100% of the time. Most specifically, it takes a good deal of beta traits to raise children. Being a provider for them, most obviously. As for the second half of your reply... that doesn't even make sense in this context. You misread what I said I guess.

It's simple. Not necessarily easy, but simple. You need to realize that you can survive (and thrive) without that approval. You've been ingrained to experience pain when a female doesn't approve of you. So here's the fix... find a random female and do something they don't approve of. Walk through the door, let it slam behind you in their face. Cut in front of them in the line. Nothing damaging to them or malicious, just something to actively seek disapproval. Once you have that carry on with you…

Woah there, nelly. Did I contribute to your disillusionment with "red pill nonsense?" When did I say that my purpose with redpill is to fuck chicks? Just for clarification, I, and a ton of other men around here, use red pill to improve my marriage. What you're telling me is that you've changed the definition of "alpha" to mean what you want: a smart, reliable friend that is good to people around them. That is not what an alpha is. Right. So that's what I'm getting at. String together too many alpha DLVs and you get called a sociopath. Unreliable, flaky, violent, etc... these are all alpha traits and nobody wants them (except the aforementioned sociopaths). Alpha traits don't make a great father, even alpha DHVs. Socially adept, strong, smart... these don't raise kids by themselves (geniuses can make terrible fucking parents. musclemen can make terrible fucking parents, etc etc). This is where most people get confused. Goo…

As for the second part, this will be my last response because you don't seem to be the kind of person that really gives a shit (from my previous post): Making a ton of money and being a good provider is a beta DHV. Teaching your sons and daughters how to be good people is a display of good, high value to your wife or girlfriend. Being a provider and a reliable person is beta, not alpha, and in that set of circumstances…

To be a good father, you have to be a secure provider, which is definitely beta. That's some pretty basic shit. To be a good father, you also have to stand your ground, which is alpha. Just because I said the word "beta" doesn't mean it's negative.
/r/TheRedPill06/12/13 03:00 AM
4

What about being an alpha means you're a good father? For reference: DHV = display of high value. DLV = display of low value. Not at all. Being a good father is a beta quality. It's not black and white, chief. Being a good man is all about maximizing Alpha and Beta DHVs both, and minimizing Alpha and Beta DLVs. Check your premises and you'll see that I'm not joking. Don't get hung up on Alpha = good and Beta = bad. Some easy examples: Making a ton of money and being a good provider is a beta DHV…

A natural alpha is someone that grew up to be an alpha and didn't have to take the red pill. This doesn't lend to them being good fathers. Being a good, strong father is actually a Beta DHV.

Maybe I'm misunderstand what you're saying... of course they are coming together, right? About 10% of the 50 year olds made it there without ever getting married. I'm just confused about why this defines the wall? Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying there isn't a wall, I just don't think this data shows it. If you were to get a takeaway from this graph, get what they were trying to show: that in 1999 never married rates increased steadily, and don't show any signs of slowing. This is horribl…

The church going conservative base in America is very strong. They largely don't have a representative on the internet or a voice in the media or on TV at all, unless you're standing next to them in a small town. But then, most people in the United States do live outside of huge cities, and they can and do call and write their representatives.

But this whole thing is just round 4 or 5 of pointing fingers at people pointing fingers at people pointing fingers. Just a side note... "turn the other cheek" has been good advice for a very long time, and because more than just "be a bitch." It has to do with establishing yourself above the other person and showing everyone around that you are better than whoever just did the slapping. Is it just me or did they say nothing about how any of that was wrong? They just said "this is crazy!" and moved on.

I'm pretty sure this should be obvious, but from the comments, I think we're overlooking something... they said "activists." If we, as a community, continue to say "women aren't equal" we'll be relegated to the same dredges as environmentalists and feminists. Come up with a better way to fucking say that, please. This statement makes you look like a douchebag: "Women aren't equal." This statement is something you can have a discussion about with other people: "Men and women aren't the same" And …

Amazingly enough 70% of people don't get divorced. The 50% of marriages end in divorce includes the people that get v several... his "when she turns, and she will" is not necessarily true... also his "even if you're alpha she'll turn." You can't be 100% alpha and have a good relationship. You need some beta DHVs in there, too, or she gets no oxytocin and it dies.

4) oh good Lord. This is the point where I question whether you are mentally retarded or not. I can bang the "equally attractive" version of a bar slut for free. Actually, the equivalent of a 50 dollar hooker will and has bought me drinks before.

I'm responding on my phone so there will be tons of editing. I'm pretty sure you didn't read what I said. I agreed with it, but said that the way he presented it was shit. You say that I'm the one stuck on the details and then don't even address my main point. 1) I agree with what. Just not why. Spend some time reading what I said before responding. 2) I agree. Like you and I both said, I agree with the points, just not why. Again, read my response. 3) 4% was plenty for me. If you choose to acce…

Displays of high value. displays of low value. A beta DHV is taking good care of her. An alpha DHV is being the leader of the group.

I am worthy of respect. So I demand respect from anyone around me nowadays. I expect much more from my family than strangers, and before I didn't. So it has definitely changed my relationship with the women in my family. If they feel like they can disrespect me in front of a family reunion, I first take them aside separately and explain how that's not okay. If they do it twice, I respond immediately, telling them that it's not okay to talk to me in that way. It's happened a few times now and the…

Before you downvote me: TL:DR: I agree with the title: The great pussy market crash & "Real man" value at all time high. The way this poster (you robbed content from JR's forum) puts it, however, is trash. You like/love your girl, sure. So do I. But let's face it. But if she was a dude, would you be gamble/give up 50-90% of your net worth with your wife? Would you spend even a quarter as much on your best male friend as you would your girlfriend? Thus, it can be said pussy has a price. Just beca…

Sadly enough, Alexa puts Huffpost at #21 in the United States. I doubt if all 17k of the subscribers to TRP, it would make one iota of a difference. But okay. Edit: Cain't spel.

Better than the article are the 10 most ridiculous things said about women in 2013. Gloriously hilarious that they view this as "ridiculous" "So there's a deeper bond between men and women than St. Valentine would have suspected, and now we know there's a better gift for that day than chocolates." Dr. Lazar Springfield, in an op-ed piece for the American College of Surgeons referring to a study that suggested semen had a possible anti-depressive effect. This Valentine's day, say it with semen. It was a shit test. I believe he failed. However, calling her out on it can be failing it, too. You're validating her incorrect opinion by responding to it. For me, I'd return and amplify it to her. My wife knows I'm reading red pill daily... so I'd tell her about "the article that I read that said somethign about how women should be subservient at all times and spanked like children if they aren't." Then I'd laugh and try to give her a spanking before leaving the room.

There are DHVs and DLVs for assholes. Some examples of asshole value displays: *Getting into a fight = DLV for the most part (perhaps defending someone would be a DHV, or if you're in a real caveman environment violenty taking what you want is a DHV). *Teasing a girl = DHV *Saying what you are thinking = DHV or DLV if you're a douche or not. The risk with asshole game is that while it's an alpha DHV, it's generally a beta DLV. You're taking away some of her oxytocin and dosing her with dopamine.…
