Anything is possible with money - especially in the US.

I'm thinking $100K would be the price tag.

So for a broke dick loser like this guy, you might as well say it's impossible. However, for a rich dude who stands to lose multiples of the legal price tag, it's worth doing.

Not to sound like a cynical high school student, but some of Nietzsche's writings were so RP before their time that it hurts. His whole concept of society, laws, courts, and morality itself only existing to chain down the strong, so that the weak could have power over them was genius for his time.

My fucking cousin married a single mom when he was about that age too. Kid wasn't his. Does it surprise you at all to learn that they are now divorced, dude is paying for kid that isn't his, and he is engaged to wife #2 now? Pretty sure the new wife doesn't have any kids, so at least he wasn't dumb enough to repeat that part of the mistake.

I think it's perfectly possible for an alpha to raise an alpha child that becomes beta around women. Effectively the son sounds like he was well on his way to living his own life when he chose to be homeless, bad choice or not he made a choice and lived it.

Instantly marrying this girl doesn't exactly speak to his fathers failure since, so much of society is blue pill inducing, as well as the media pushing happily ever afters after insane snap life decisions.

The best part of the show for me was watching my brother-in-law, a natural alpha, try hopelessly to have a heart to heart with this kid about life, responsibility (no job for this kid as of yet, face tattoos and all), and the enormity of what he's gotten himself in to.

What the fuck is a "natural alpha"? It sounds like didn't do a great job of raising his son to be an alpha.

Alphas make good fathers. They are leaders and socially dominant. They protect their tribe and kin through their access to surplus resources due to their status. Dark triad folks are selfish, manipulative assholes. They protect no one but themselves and make poor fathers. But women are still attracted to them because their traits indicate the potential for offspring that will be able to compete and survive and extend the genetic line.

Right. So that's what I'm getting at. String together too many alpha DLVs and you get called a sociopath. Unreliable, flaky, violent, etc... these are all alpha traits and nobody wants them (except the aforementioned sociopaths).

Alpha traits don't make a great father, even alpha DHVs. Socially adept, strong, smart... these don't raise kids by themselves (geniuses can make terrible fucking parents. musclemen can make terrible fucking parents, etc etc).

This is where most people get confused. Good father traits are positive beta DHVs... reliable, makes a lot of money, loving.

I'd say it's confusing because great fathers take alpha DHVs together with beta DHVs, min/maxxing them for the best benefit of the family.

My original statement is that being alpha doesn't necessarily lend themselves to being a great or even a good father. People instantly think I'm dogging the concept of an alpha altogether and respond with a "NOT ON MY FUCKING REDDIT."

Not at all. Being a good father is a beta quality. It's not black and white, chief. Being a good man is all about maximizing Alpha and Beta DHVs both, and minimizing Alpha and Beta DLVs.

Check your premises and you'll see that I'm not joking.

Don't get hung up on Alpha = good and Beta = bad.

Some easy examples: Making a ton of money and being a good provider is a beta DHV. Being a needy bitch is a beta DLV. Being the center of attention and having a high social status is an alpha DHV. Always doing your own thing to the point of not being reliable is an alpha DLV.

Depends on how you define "alpha." I guess in its sub its about banging girls but in my own view being an alpha is about being a well rounded guy that has his life under control. I wouldn't consider a guy an "alpha" with a fucked up personal life, and I definitely wouldn't consider a guy an "alpha" if he couldn't teach his son to be an alpha. But to each his own, I guess.

Teaching your sons and daughters how to be good people is a display of good, high value to your wife or girlfriend. Being a provider and a reliable person is beta, not alpha, and in that set of circumstances, you want to be a good provider and a reliable person.

Just for clarification, I, and a ton of other men around here, use red pill to improve my marriage.

What you're telling me is that you've changed the definition of "alpha" to mean what you want: a smart, reliable friend that is good to people around them. That is not what an alpha is. The second two traits you mentioned are actually beta traits... and those are good traits to have.

Don't make the mistake that a ton of people have around here and think that just because someone is beta means that it's necessarily bad.

I'll start from the beginning because you seem like you care.

Here are some examples of alpha traits:

Strong, smart, steadfast, passionate, composed, natural leader, unafraid, doesn't need validation.

These are good things. But then they forget some of the negative alpha traits:

Unreliable, violent, egotistic, lacking of empathy, unapologetic, reckless, stubborn.

Now, when I say an alpha lend itself to being a good father, it's because it doesn't. If you saw a muscleman that solved physics problems for breakfast before heading to his job as President of the United States... what about this equation means he's a good father?

Now, here are some positive beta traits:

Honest, giving, safe, secure, puts other people first, empathic, makes a ton of money, etc.

Negative beta traits (which a lot of times can be just positive beta, just amplified):

Needy, boring, dramatic, loser.

Are you beginning to understand a better way to define alpha and beta?

I can't think of why this would be true. I think we just use the word beta to mean specifically negative beta traits so frequently, you can't seem to shake the connotation when used other ways. I can't think of a better definition or a way to have a consistent definition any other way.

To be a good father, you have to be a secure provider, which is definitely beta. That's some pretty basic shit.

To be a good father, you also have to stand your ground, which is alpha.
