I've read it. It's helpful for strengthening current relationships and making people feel more comfortable speaking to you. But it doesn't help when dealing assholes and "friends" who like to joke a lot.

Noted. I've realized that I can hold frame, but not in such a comic way as others. I'm better when being laid back and not laughing my head off. Your words helped. Thanks.

The thing is this guy is totally in his mood/frame. Everything is so funny to him, and people buy into that frame where everything he says funny. I feel I can't beat him in his own game. I've tried being low-key malicious to give him bad vibes, and I'm wondering if I take it up a notch he'll just dislike me too much to joke around at/with me.

I couldn't help but think how sad it is that barbershops have become when of the few havens where men can just be men.

Thank you for your post. Just as many men fail to recognize that there is a difference between LTR material and other women, they also fail to make the difference between "pals" and "friends" as you put it, which leads to disillusionment. In my work environment, we are on "standby" a lot so we have a lot of free time (which isn't as good as it seems). There's always talk going on, however it seems that some of the people that I enjoy talking with (who also enjoy talking with me) aren't open to m…

You said it, human beings -given enough time- will take the shape of their containers. Those interpreters lost the "battle" the moment they stepped food into an alpha-infested base (heck, it was over the moment they agreed to it). Not all the law and societal rules will make your wife/whoever love/respect you if you're not strong enough. You cannot negotiate attraction.

The part that eludes me is when you meet guys with rock-solid frame. Doesn't matter how lacking in knowledge they are, as long add there's a group of lemmings to agree with them I will always lose.

A cuckold is a man whose wife or partner is unfaithful. This man chose not to partake in a sex life, so how can he be a cuck? He's also better than an involuntary celibate. He made his choice.

The man you talk about wasn't an incel. Do you even know what "cuck" means?

It seems almost politically incorrect to point out that morals on this sub are only applied to women, not men. There's your explanation.

I have difficulty with the smiling part because I used to be a chump. Not smiling made people stop poking fun at me. I guess I'll just have to get more experience with this, I may misinterpreting jokes as disrespect.

I've been pushing myself to talk more to strangers, but it's always still uncomfortable and I never make friends out of it, just friendly chats. In my work place my relationships have become significantly better, I still get into headbutts with other guys and it annoyed me to no end when I'm taken as a joke. I figure this may be just a phase going on with what's happening in life, but I was still curious if there was any material on how to deal with people who are aggressive, condescending, how …

I have trouble finding materials relating to making social bonds and relationships with other men and groups. I'm an introvert, and used to be anti-social. Is there a "book of pook" for building respect and fostering relationships with other men?

If you messaged her and she continued ghosting you for no reason, that's a sign of disrespect or lack of caring. A relationship with that in it is no relationship anyone should be in. At best, wait for her to initiate the conversation with you, but be skeptical. Be thankful she gave you a clear warning sign. Much better than dragging you on.

The old social order worked because it dealt realistically with human nature. People are trying to do what they want/believe (inevitably tampering with human nature) and still want the benefits. It's a classic "you can't have your cake and eat it too" scenario, and that's why it's an issue. I would say conservatives are more likely to do it "right", but I would add two points. 1)Careers for women should not be a priority. Never higher than marrying and establishing a family. Otherwise you end up…

Thanks for sharing. In relation to SMV and how we perceive people based on it, you can say the same thing on why we like it when a "cool" guy gives us his attention and tells us stuff about himself, while at the same time when someone we don't respect does it we just get annoyed and bothered.

Was kissing her cheating? Or did you find out she had sex? One thing I want anyone to answer, because it's confusing me. Why would a woman admit to cheating before? This is confusing when she's confessing to someone she wants to be with. Any answer to this?

But I wouldnt pretend like I am her one true love. Being aloof, having an abundance mentality and giving her the sex she wants is practically the same thing to women. Too many guys think that simply because they have not expressed interest than they have not led her to believe anything. Women do not think like that. As far as the girls in your post are concerned, they are simply shooting for the most stable relation with the highest value mate they can find. Nature 101.

Most states will favor the male. Brock Turner literally raped a girl and pretty much got away with it. I don't live in the US, but I've been led to believe that the entire country will always favor the female, so this is confusing. Can you clarify or point me to where I can get a good understanding of how legal procedures work in cases such as these? (preferrably the US, but any country in Europe is ok too)

When you are dealt shallow criticism or jabs that are clearly aimed to bring you down (to the point that it's actually funny), don't be sad, be glad. This is the one of the truest forms of admiration you will get. Be proud. Kudos on your dealing with the matter. Much more practical and mature than simply ditching everyone.

Great post. For those who speak non-English, I recommend trying to speak in a softer, yet more assertive tone. Practice at home. The reason I say "softer" is to make sure that your assertiveness isn't coming from the sound or volume or your voice, but rather your choice of words. Once you realize what words you should use to convey strength and/or confidence while speaking in a calm manner, you'll be able to do it when speaking to others.

Great post. Always opt to suffer in silence. I would say that there is one exception, though, and that it is necessary. Your best friend(s). Those relationships where there is mutual trust and respect. They can help you when problems get too much. But keep in mind there is a limit, they can and very likely will slowly lose respect for you, so don't treat them like emotional tampons. Keep your troubles to yourself by default.

People will fight you on the road to improving yourself. It's such an eye opener. Once you surpass people who were better than you, though, it starts to get sobering how they just fell behind. 6 months in I have experienced a shit test from my Mum this time claiming " god you have lost some weight, are you ill or something?? That sounds like genuine concern, not a shit test.

I agree. Some men were raised in normal families with a strong father and loving mother. Some were just indoctrined with self-doubt and fear their entire lives. Some men wised up when his first gf was giving him attitude by finding this sub. Some only found any semblance of answer once they were knees-deep in a horrible marriage. Empathy is crucial, men.

I'm going to level with you. Never feel bad for wanting another girl. You're a man. It's part of your mascuilinity to desire others. Accept that this desire is normal. If you want to have a LTR, know that you will always find someone else more attractive. However that attractiveness does not negate the value of what you have. A good LTR will (or should) have a number qualities that are difficult to find elsewhere (though not necessarily impossible). Beauty, attractiveness, femininity, loyalty to…

Her confession is a testament to the relationship. You were beta, now you're alpha. She treated you like a beta before because that's who you were, and now she treats you like an alpha because that's who you are. Some form of punishment is justified, but don't squander what you have too quickly.

It's an interesting situation. Although these are simply anecdotes, they do make some sense. A father (a good one that is a bastion of morals and values and also a guardian) would seem more important than a mother (a single mother is simply a struggling child with no boundaries, despite being the same gender).

Your issue is that you're actually comparing porn to sex. These things are not equal. Actual sex is natural and can have strong positive effects on your body and mind (and spirit?). Porn is a drug that is draining your life force and can seriously damage you. How is this free?

If you checkout yourbrainonporn it is actually mentioned that those who cut off porn and masturbation would eventually reach a stage of non-existent libido. This is the toughest stage, but extremely important. Your brain is resetting. According to many entries those who held through that phase finally got back their libido and it felt healthier and stronger. Yes, porn is actually so bad that cutting it off completely might kill your libido before finally becoming normal.

I'll keep it short, because these minor tips helped me start off in right direction, and a lot of things followed. 1) Learn some body language; when talking to people try not to break eye contact at all. If they break first then you're doing it right. Stand tall, head high, shoulders apart. 2) Speech; Speak clearly, speak less. If you agree to something instead of throwing two sentances just say yes, or better yet, simply nod. There's a balance but this is a start. 3) Stop Smiling So much; Simpl…

Porn is actually more damaging than you think. If you read through some of the forums like yourbrainonporn you'll actually find a lot of cases where people simply don't enjoy sex as much as before, not as much as porn, or even to the point of being so desensitized they can't get up. Pornography in many cases is, quite literally, a libido killer. Keep strong.

As someone who considers himself open-minded and is always willing to give other ideas a chance (within reason) I can honestly say that sub is utter stupid cancer. I've read a lot of the posts and here is my honest opinion. From what I gather, I personally think you were better off before TRP than you are now (duh?). Although, you weren't that better off considering the situation you are describing. Also, you seem to have some genuine problems with your outlook on life or you may actually be ill. It’s time to stop beating around the bush: feminists want to be raped. I'm surprised this wasn't mentioned in the original post. I mean not delving too deep. A lot of times I can talk about the necessity for a man to be dominant, and how women innately desire to submit to a dominant man. But I don't think I'd have much luck talking about how -due to their fickleness- women cannot be truly trusted with heavy responsibilities. They'll comply through actions, but not openly discuss and agree.

I don't blame a lot of members for being so against LTRs. More so in the West with the culture the way it is and the law. Although some aren't so sad about it and just pretend to be while gleely spinning plates. That said, I think TRP can definitely be discussed on the surface with women who are self-aware or those who have been raised in a traditional household where they are taught to embrace femininity and submissiveness.

So far I dig it...but there are some things that im noticing don't neccesarily align with TRP. This is what I'm noticing. All you should care about are results; take what you can and use it, ditch the rest. I have certain religious views that clash with what Tolle talks about at times, but letting that get in the way would be idiotic and stupid. Good luck with your endeavors, hope you get the most out of it.

Some years ago I had trouble focusing, I was always checking my phone for the latest. At some point I felt like there was this loud white noise going in my head and a fuzz and it was horrendous. It got better when I stopped using twitter, and even better when I limited my use of whatsapp and stopped reading every goddamn useless message. I would recommend listening to Eckhart Tolle's Journey Into Yourself. Some of those who take TRP as an idealogy are against stuff like that, but listening to hi…

Gains: * Found out I can do more push-ups than I thought. * Writing goals feels good. I think I'm going to make it a habit. * Passed a shit-test with my ltr. Been long since I did that. Felt good. * Focused on my top priority of studying these days, pushed through it even though tired and losing focus. * Came clean to myself (again?) about how much I feel the need to change my job. * Standing my ground more and more when it comes to interactions. Seeing all these good posts almost makes me embar…

One of the early things I had to learn was to accept people for who they are. Your problem is you were looking for some sort of soulmate or twin who shares your ideals, interests, and has fun with you. That's not easy. I have a friend who doesn't give jack about all the self-improvement I talk about, but he listens to me when I need to vent, he enjoys my company (and I his), and he's always there when I need it. Hang out with Po, you don't have to study with him.

This is great. Can you chip in on how to be a father to a toddler? I'm always trying to play games with her and just put some aside time, and always answering her calls, but what did you do when you had only one 3yo kid?

I'm reading this just now. I'm late. I'm working shifts. I'm studying, and I'm stressed. I don't think I can complete this. Not this month. But I'm in. I'm challenging myself. (I honestly don't know if it's possible for me to do 100 push-ups everyday in this shape, but only one way to find out)

That's actually interesting. I'm heavily interested in religion/philosophy and thought it would never accepted on TRP.

As much as I've looked, I have found no clear answer to this. TRP is certainly amoral much like the sciences, but applying it is certainly immoral by many standards. That's why I always hear members say "there is no right or wrong, there just is". They realize that the only way to adopt what they believe with they do is to adopt "amorality". (although there are contradictions; claiming that it doesn't matter if you alpha-widow a number of women while also being angry in the face of injustice)

No need to be snarky. You have to be detached and objective when searching for the truth and not let emotions deride you from your path. Think of what is said in the video. Is it true? Absorb it and follow it. Is it wrong? Disregard it as long as you have reasonable arguments.

The content of your post is not so horrible, but your English is. English isn't my first language, and this is something we need to keep in mind because that's the medium on this sub. Especially when it comes to rants and offtopic threads. Those are already littered with cuss words and very few can pull those off with eloquency. Basically; sub-par English skills will be a huge obstacle to your ability of expression on this subreddit. Working on it will heavily improve your personal life.

There's a subreddit to quit gaming. I found a great article on their sidebar a while ago http://gamequitters.com/how-to-quit-playing-video-games/ Basically the article tells you the properties that make many video games addicting, which helps you replace them with other activities.

I think not discussing morals isn't the issue here. It's about amorality vs morality. I know this because I see a lot of posts with "there is no right or wrong, there just is" instead of "we're not here for moral judgements". Not saying which is right, but I believe OP doesn't agree with the concept of morals, and isn't saying it outright).

Personal cards? Sounds way too much. I would guess you have to go with your gut. If this seems interesting and you think you might have fun with him, try to keep contacts. Otherwise just have fun chatting and forget about it. Just two days ago I got into a surprising chat with someone I met for the first time. In retrospect we wouldn't have clicked, so it's a good thing I didn't try to keep in touch.

By eating avocados, red meat, and olive/coconut based oil, I actually believed in coconut oil until I had read its benefits to mental functionality is hogwash. It also raises LDL and not-so-much HDL, which is why it's "unhealthy". Have you ever researched it?

In the research, they mention the benefits of this, as unfamiliar semen correlates to lack of parental investement. So preecomapsia is a safe-guard mechanism. They even mention cases of lack of parental investement such as rape and others, and even say " Semen unfamiliarity also characterizes dishonest mating strategies (Shields & Shields, 1983). Good story. Aside from that, environments are always a factor. Would a "perfect muslim guy/girl" actually agree to live in the non-Islamic West? Would they at the least agree to live there and not change or expect to change? There are no Unicorns, there are no hearts of gold, there are no fallen angels who do bad things and are still "good" on the inside. I like your take on it. I can't agree with the hardline OP has put on time restriction, where it cannot be any longer than necessary at all. It just doesn't feel practical in a LTR. If you could write more about it in regards to LTR? Thanks again.

The one thing I disagree with you on is your implication that true love exists for men, which I don't think it is. Would Romeo still give Juliette his undivided love and attention if she got fat or had an accident? Only true love possible is the one between a parent and offspring. It's all about your wants and desires and how you deal with them.

I love much of TRP philosophy, but it's sometimes used in ways I would not approve of. Really, before reading the comments on this thread, I never thought to what depth of immorality some RPers would sink to. The notion of being so self-centered to the point where you should not care the least about dealing emotional damage to the post-wall woman who did so much for you in your childhood is disgusting. Some may not like my comment, but the truth is; the life you described sucks. And if you feel like crap, I can't blame you, and I wouldn't want that to happen me. Some say you want to complain, and personally I think it's human to look for empathy. I've been where you were, and it felt really, really bad. That said, I'm assuming you don't want things to keep going the way they are. You want to fix it, right? You want to actually feel good about yourself, right? The first step is having a positiv…

You have good ideas here, but the way you express them can get convoluted. I think you could give some sections a re-write to help make them clearer. The latest thread announcement on this sub did not please me, mainly because I think the moral aspect is very important, and that's one of the reasons I like your post. I don't want to get into an argument with some of the users here, but I think much of what is immoral is disguised as "amoral", and I don't think it's fooling anyone. While the idea…

You misunderstood my question. Where did I say that I finish without my partner finishing? I don't know where you got that. My issue was very specific. I've never went twice in one night or day, I only go once. I last a decent time, enough to make her get off more than once (even without foreplay). But I have never went twice.
