doesnt bdsm imply sexual gratification though? It may be natural for some. I really don't know. Definitely could see how it would be weird to some. I guess I've been trying to defend the trad life a lot lately so this may be me going too far lol

Isn't really my thing. I'd assume due to the nature of this sub, many people on here would be okay and support some form of a man enforcing "discipline" in some sense, if he's the man of the house. Doesn't have to be literal spanking lol, but it can also cross the line pretty easily, so I totally get your point. I guess a traditional life may call for a man to have that sort of authority, or being the bottom line/man of the house.

True, what I mean is the idea that we as humans like the traits that we found most positive about our parents. It's why, if our parents ingrained within us negative traits, we are reliant upon them throughout our life. So the nurturing care a mother gave, will be desired by a male in his most vulnerable moments. Such is hardwired into him.

there was actually a study that showed that "supertall" women, like 6'0-6'5 women actually had less stringent height requirements than the usual suspects 5'3-5'10

Nun mode should be the default. I'm Muslim too, getting ready for Ramadan. I'm not sure why he chose now to do it. Dating is forbidden during all times in life, not just during Ramadan. I'm sorry this happened to this, and this is striking a nerve for me right now, because I'm a Muslim male in a fully Christian country, and I find it so difficult to find someone because of this. I'm not sure if y'all discussed conversion (assuming you'd even be open to that), or marriage down the road. But beyon…

I hope you realize, many of the gender roles widely opposed today are rooted in biology. We can't make that argument in one place, and not in all.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/23 01:38 AM

Well if feminism is opposed to gendered norms, stereotypes etc, it would seem likely that women would actually not care at all about height. Going for taller men would be a stereotype of how men are.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/23 01:16 AM
1

True! But there's a correlation there, atleast sometimes. Or seems like it should be. It seems to me that feminists go for taller men, as do traditional women. It just seems that if feminists were to be consistent, they wouldn't care as much about height, as that preference seems to oppose egalitarianism.

they navigate it without a male bodyguard and also are very likely to be vulnerable Also science ie biology shapes social dynamics

Psuedo science is not real science my friend. No actual science justifies racism. Also, not all violent encounters involve guns. Most people aren't walking around with guns. They happen, but it doesn't defeat the rule here.

Damn I wanna see y'all now since you're very and extremely attractive, respectively. I wonder what those guy's insecurities were too, that were a dealbreaker.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:49 PM

Almost all of those things you just mentioned aren't natural or common sense. A man, on average, is much taller, stronger, faster than a woman. If a man attacks them, they both could defend but given the analogous sizes, it makes sense for one of them to be on the forefront. Segregation has nothing to do with that.

I see. It's good that they didn't explicitly reject you for that. I feel like many of them are nice enough to just make an excuse during rejection and not mention height
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:44 PM
1

I see. And is there a reason why your exes heights are limits for you? Is it the comparison?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:43 PM
1

True! But I feel like there's a lot of discourse around women "settling" for shorter men, or other sorts of men. They might be aging, or for whatever reason now want a reliable provider, but aren't too turned on by them physically. The typical chad f boy vs beta male provider dilemma. Seems cringe but is somewhat observable.

Yes but men protecting women is more like common sense
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:38 PM
1

I see. But I feel like that would be the extreme though, a form of infantilization, where the woman has to be tiny around the man. But that's actually quite interesting. Do you feel as though a tall man could not protect you? Or do you just feel uncomfortable with the idea of having to be protected? Because many in your situation actually tend to gravitate towards being protected then by a taller man. You seem to be a deviation from the norm, in that you don't feel that need. But it's also iro…

why don't you date
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:28 PM

Well I don't see why someone would want their woman to be shorter. Doesn't really matter much to me, there's so many other traits that matter

What if he was shorter but didn't care whatsoever about height, or you being taller
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:13 PM

yeah but apps also don't exactly reflect reality it's like a meta reality, choosing human beings like an NBA 2k create a character, or build a bear.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:13 PM
1

would you be comfortable around them being close to your height
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:07 PM
1

damn chad's gf :( jk but good insights! I think any height man can carry a girl if hes strong enough
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 08:03 PM
2

That's fair enough!! Just have to say though, if you were born a male with the same average height, you'd be about 5'7 haha. I think women should keep that in mind, it's truly a lottery! But I understand your preference. It's quite common.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 07:09 PM
2

Do you find that women have ignored you due to your height? And if so, has it been mostly taller women or shorter women?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 07:06 PM
1

Do you feel more attracted in a relationship when the guy is taller? I see that women often can go for shorter than their ideal, but I wouldn't want to be with a woman who's settling for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 07:05 PM
1

So... do you feel like those women don't give you much of a chance?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 07:05 PM
1

So you're a 5'7 woman who likes 5'4 men. That's new. And I think that's cool, but also might seem like you're more on the feminist spectrum, than traditional, feminine, housewive vibe. Might be why.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 07:04 PM
1

Are you from the Netherlands
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 07:02 PM
1

So you're about 5'8, and would only date 6 feet and above? Given this is your ideal, if say there was a 5'8 or 5'9 man, would you be turned off by him? Or would he be fine. Given he's attractive in most other ways to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 07:01 PM
1

Reasonable.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 06:58 PM
2

Your preference is actually very reasonable. Many women do like the "looming." In another post though, I think you said you're a masculine woman, with a feminine man? If I'm not mistaken. That might play into it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 06:58 PM

It's both. Men like it, and society expects it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/02/23 06:55 PM

Eh man I really don't know what you mean or why you'd be attracted to that over a very long term basis. Maybe it's attractive in the moment, because it's fun. But on a long term basis, it would be the total reverse of a true traditional relationship and just wouldn't work right. Now also, alot of the traits you mentioned aren't even masculine..... A woman can be super feminine, and have many of those. It's weird how society has made feminity into being afraid of spiders... not being stoic.... …

It's absolutely true. Enter the "it's because they're forced to stay" uh first of all no, the vast majority are not forced to stay, secondly that wouldn't explain why non arranged marriages in the west have a flip of a coin's chance of ending in divorce. Has more to do than "force."
