Agreed. But ultimately we do control the switch. The switch is more about suddenness and severity of change than ease of flipping.

Not even the best RSD instructors!?!?! Surely they must be finished learning, RSDkyle. I am a huge fan of RSD too mate, they've taught me more than anybody, but you remind me of the type of guy who has a tattoo on the small of his back that says "Inner Circle." The kind of guy that would buy a ticket to across country because if he get's Julian's autograph, he'll have the full set. You strike me as the type of guy that would do Ozzie, Dump Tim, and Marry Tyler. (i might even think this guy is a …

lol maybe you do know me. I've definitely watched every episode of HIMYM and Barney is awesome. I'm not here to hate either. But the truth is I am fucking great. And I know there's no way to prove that I'm not motivated by buthurtness, but I'll say it anyway. Lot of judgment pointed at me based on a minimal information, which is fine, but the content of my post is absolutely valuable to seddit.

Just keep practicing and force yourself to be physical. It's an attitude, and it'll only come with lots and lots of practice and pushing your own limits. Push your comfort zone. You need to or you'll never succeed in this or anything. It's perfectly normal to be where you are, but it is a STAGE that you will evolve past. I promise you, if you stick with it, you will evolve past it. If it helps, practice physicality with girls who you're not attracted to, but most importantly don't be afraid to f…

Don't focus. Be in the moment. You're not thinking, you're just here and now. Thinking is the enemy. Truly. Awareness, if you truly have it, will eradicate self-consciousness.

Would you take it personally if you missed a shot in basketball? And that IS your fault. Even if you miss 30 in a row, you laugh it off, admit you're in a slump, and figure out what part of your mechanics are faulty. Then center yourself and try again.

I didn't say you were complaining. You're judging, and it's a symptom of a larger problem. It's one thing to have a personal standard against smoking, but when you stop reading an article because OP suggests that you can still pull as a smoker, or when you say that "no self respecting girl" would smoke, that leads me to believe that you have a certain rigidity that's limiting your success with women and in life. It's good to stand behind your convictions, but too easy to let them become your mas…

Never reveal your deepest secrets. Not even to your wife. Fuck that shit. There's no intimacy that way. I mean, unless you murdered your first wife or something. Instead, be comfortable enough with who you are that even your deepest secrets don't make you less attractive. Also, marry the right girl.

Thanks brotha. The advice about her having to seduce me as well is key, like incredibly spot on. That's what I'm trying to balance with the very direct game I'm playing. She's super good at playing it cool too, but I know she digs me. ;) I'm not looking for a magic text. Looking for a magic text is bush league. Solid advice though, as you have no way of knowing what level I'm at. You're right, it will take time, but it doesn't suck at all. Far from it. I'm havin' a great time crakka! When I wait…

I met this great girl when I lived in another city, but I had a GF at the time. We've reconnected recently, but we live a long ways apart now. We flirt a little, but I'm definitely the aggressor. Seeing each other would require a deliberate visit to the other's city. Don't worry, I'm still meeting other women, but I really like this one. Tips on how to play this are welcome as fuck.

So guys, I had the craziest day today. First off, I had a horrible nights sleep. My ex-girlfriend told me late last night that she's doing something dangerous, like to the point where I'm legit scared for her, and there's nothing I can do about it. I promised her I wouldn't say what it is, and she has her reasons, but the point is that I was having nightmares all night. I kept waking up terrified and sweating. Well, I guess having nightmares is hard work, because the first thought, like, before …

I was pretty upset when my post about the game "Cyrano" was taken down. IMHO it was a useful and harmless tool that helps with AA and outcome independence. It was a popular post. For the sake of clarification, could someone explain which of these guidelines it violated? If your answer is that "it doesn't help guys meet women" I vehemently differ. Largely because of this game, friends and I have had inner game breakthroughs, as well as met some great women.

No need to feel emasculated. Yes, you should have gotten the number yourself probably, but this can only be a good thing. Some women are aggressive, it means they know what they want. If anything, you're the prize right now, which is a great position. If the wedding is in 3 weeks, that's kind of a different story. I'd probably talk to her a couple times. If you don't call, I don't think she'd try to get revenge by cold shouldering you, but she might forget about you or the flames of her passion …

Hah, it sounds like her game worked on you more than vice versa. She's totally the aggressor! Bust her chops a little about it, at the right time. 1) Not texting sounds like a good plan. You might want to think about not calling her either since you're going to be seeing her in such a short time at such a perfect place. This will make her question where she stands with you and start to make her think about you more. Just know what to say if she asks you why you never called. There are plenty of …

You basically have the right idea, but it's not an exact science. Though it's not a bad idea to iod after a compliment (or compliment after an iod for that matter,) you shouldn't feel the need to immediately balance one out after giving the other. This is transparent, and a smart girl will catch onto what you're doing. (Which isn't the worst thing in the world, but it's not great) Also, you waste your time and headspace by keeping such close inventory. Don't overdo things, just do them. Don't mi…

Social culture shifting has no bearing on my actions. Day game works just as well in my experience, but not the same way. There's a drastically lower chance of kissing a girl right then and there, but also a drastically lower rate of flaking. You said 90% was looks specifically, not social value or other factors. Even so, your view on this seems pretty absolutist to me. Yes, looks, money, and status are important, but status and to a degree money and looks (a.k.a. grooming) come from social abil…

You're an extr3mest, which is why it probably feels weird. Push pull is about balance, like dribbling a basketball. If you just push, there are consequences. You can come off as an abrasive dick/complete fucking asshole, which contrary to what PU can lead one to believe, isn't good. Also, she can like you but think she has no chance with you. You extinguish the flame of her hope. Nobody wants to feel unwanted. Pushing too hard stops her from thinking of you romantically. It's such an uphill batt…

In addition to what they're all saying, TAKE. THE. LEAD. Add value to your life, and she will probably be thrilled to share that value. Plan amazing dates/ADVENTURES. Learn new skills. Tease her. I'm guessing some day you'll appreciate RSD. Personally, Tyler is my favorite instructor out there. The problem is accessibility. Outer game strategies like openers and congruence tests are tangible concepts for beginners to latch onto, and important to know as well, but there is something more important out there to know. Self confidence. When you have it, I mean when you really have it, the rest becomes unnecessary. RSD puts you on the right path, but the trickier path too. When my 3 year rela…

I usually say something like "Why on Earth would anyone want to be in a relationship?" Even though I think relationships can be great, it's a lighthearted way express that I'm happy being single, and also a quasi-false-disqualifier and makes me into the unattainable/the prize. I kind of inject that anti-relationship shtick into my persona when I'm single. It's the same reason that if I ever say something like "If I get married some day" I follow it with "God forbid"

Color has a HUGE effect on our lives, just as erosion effects stone. You may not start foaming and seizing because of the greenness of an apple, but over time the subtle ways in which color effects those who can observe it add up. Color continuously adds to our level of happiness and shapes our appreciation of beauty. This in turn effects our tastes, emotions, and even actions. Since we are changed by color, and we interact with the world, color changes the world. This is analogous to the wisdom…

(6) Direct experience. Let's say the world is colorblind, but one day you suddenly see colors. (1) No one could test it. How would that test work? (2) Seeing color certainly does have an effect on your reality if nobody else's. This effect in not measurable, but it significantly exists because you exist. Perhaps color fits into category two. (3) It's not false. There's color, before your very eyes. (4) There are no logical axioms for the claim of "color" to stand on. You can simply see it. (5) I…

She needs to mature. There was nothing disrespectful in the least about trying to kiss that girl. That sounds like either a stupid excuse or a symptom of a rape accusatory mindset. It seems like she might have buyers remorse, like you somehow blew it when you were chilling with your buds. If you can, always kiss the girl. If she kissed you back, you played at least that portion of the date right. I say stay away. She's dangerous. But if you insist on trying to keep going (as we men often do) I'd…

Great AMA! Besides just racking up general experience and going out a lot, what can we do to drastically improve micro-calibration?

He's right. Do this. Overpower her. Not in a rapey way, but let her know that you can't resist her. If you're not confident about it, fake it till you make it. Make her say "Element4l, what's gotten into you?!?" and then fuck her in a very manly fashion like you're two lions. If you do this correctly, observe how she treats you in the immediate aftermath of said coitus. It will probably be a respectful type of treatment. If so, consider applying this mindset to your whole life.

It happened to me just two days ago. I made a post suggesting something similar and it got censored from the #1 spot.

That the most chode/AFC advice in the world "Be yourself. Be confident." is what it's really all about. Also, I should add, you should all watch The Blueprint Decoded.

Yeah, and for that matter don't approach girls with canned openers. Also, if you're not confident don't act like you are. That's just toying with girls. Man, I've read a lot of your comments and I like what you have to say normally. I think a lot of people do on seddit. And because I respect you I'm taking the time to respond to this. You should know that in the many times I've spilled the beans to a girl that my approach was just playing a game, there has never been an instance where they've be…

The beautiful part is that this game flexes your creativity muscle and makes you better at thinking on your feet. Not just when thinking about what line to make up as Cyrano, but also when you're the lucky one you have to think of a follow up if she returns your serve, and hopefully an unapologetic one at that. Remember, the line doesn't have to make sense. The amount of shit you can say that is horrible is endless, and includes the nonsensical. "Hey there muscly arms, do you like popsickles?" "…

I bet they'll play in the Cyrano roll. I've found that if I'm having enough fun with it, peoples' attitudes flip.

Yes, if she's offended or has a boyfriend (who is often right there and wants to protect her) by all means spill the beans. Try to avoid it in the name of sport, and hold out as long as you can, but telling her is allowed. In fact, about a third of the time, we'll fess up. Occasionally, and if done correctly/not right away, telling her that you're playing a game is a DHV. You can point to your friends, showing that you have friends. Plus, the fact that you said this bizarre shit is not bizarre a…

This is actually better than what Simple Pickup suggests, but I agree with you overall. Failure is golden. EDIT: Not better, but more fun and better for beginners. There's a time and a place for both games. I actually love what Simple Pickup does.

Yes, there is hope for you. Read the books "A New Earth" and/or "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. You will feel better. If you like it I have plenty more material I can recommend. You can get girls even if you're ugly and homeless, but you can't do it with the attitude you currently have. A girl has never approached you? A girl isn't supposed to, that's your job. Water your cajones, as painful as it might be. The good news is, all of your problems are curable. If you REALLY want to and you're…

Cyrano De Bergerac is a play. If you see it or read it you'll get why the game is called Cyrano.

Totally agree that you can play it anywhere, but it naturally lends itself to nighttime/social situations like parties and clubs because wild behavior is more expected and tolerated. You can certainly do this even at the bookstore, but it might be harder to get your friends to play. I've actually only tried at bars and parties, but I'd imagine that you'd need a real cool wing to play it in some "day game" type situations. I've found that Cyrano is most enjoyable and engaging when you really get …

Looks matter, but they aren't the end all be all. They give you the edge by default, but a lot of what good looks get you is confidence. That confidence gets girls and then people say "He gets girls cause of his looks" Think of it like being rich. Rich guys usually get hot girls, but you don't NEED to be rich. Another way of looking at it, if you have a really amazing set of golf clubs, although that gives you an edge, Tiger would still beat you with a set from the 1970s.

Don't feel odd. You're being a guy who takes what he wants. Even if she laughs at you, so fucking what. It shouldn't matter.

Build more comfort. Building attraction shouldn't take long, but building comfort usually will. Just be cool and normal and comfort will come automatically. Also, venue change. Instead of trying to go to your place after the club, go to a late night restaurant, then a cool spot you know that isn't your place, and a couple others. If she's having fun and your reality is strong, she'll be down. The more places you go, the stronger the illusion that you've spent a lot of time together. If you want …

Inviting her to watch Breaking Bad was not the move. If you insist on the ill-advised idea of watching TV with a girl the first time you hang out independently, that might be the worst show you could pick. It's a fantastic series, but it doesn't exactly set the mood. There are tons of cool things you can do with a girl. Do those things instead. I'm gonna disagree with the panel of "move on" people. They're right that you shouldn't obsess, so what you really need to do is let go of the outcome. F…

Yagyu Matajuro was a young member of the Yagyu family, famous for the family tradition of swordsmanship. However Matajuro’s father was disappointed in his son’s tendency towards laziness and banished him from the dojo. Matajuro, his pride stung resolved to seek out a master and return as a great swordsman. Matajuro journeyed to the Kumano shrine in the province of Kii, where he had heard of a great teacher called Banzo. The monks at the shrine told him that Banzo lived as a hermit in the nearby …

If you make yourself feel like a fool, you're on the right path. In Tarot cards, "The Fool" represents the first stage of a journey to enlightenment. It's a picture of a dude about to step off a cliff, and actually a very positive omen! I'm not gonna lie, that FR was fucking awkward. But that's totally okay, it's a success story still. I've totally bombed worse. It's a journey! Keep it up brotha.

Dude, I was just thinking about that. And of course I have to come here for anyone on reddit to even think about what to actually do if confronted with it. Anyhow, I don't know. I think I would somehow try to get them all to fight for my attention. Like, ask them which one was the best cheerleader and so forth to get them in the frame of trying to compete for me and feel lucky for me to choose them. Of course, the one time I was the only guy in a bus full of women, I ended up stripping for them.…
