I've met people who met their spouses through board and online games. But I'm not close with them and chose not to be friends with them.

You can't get through to people like that. Save your energy for something else. My father would hinder my education by deliberately starting me one year later, wouldn't pay for my education and if I did achieve something, it would be because of his godly genes.

Omg any sign of LV from men and women, I will act like they don't exist. It's so not worth taking their sht and try to look at them in good light when there is absolutely nothing good about them.

Women get anti abortion laws and men run scott free? Any form of coercion should be persecuted and their 'manhood' should be taken away from them.

Even when men talk highly of their mothers and sisters, it doesn't mean they have the capability of loving other women. They grew up with care and love, so in their mind they think that the women who come into their life will revolve around them too.

What about women who abuse women who stood up (for them)?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/06/21 12:04 PM

There are also women who are addicts as well. How do I know? The people I used to hang out with all the time would make incessant comments and jokes about sex, would always want to know the relationship or dating status of anyone they take interest in. Overall they were terrible people. I just entered my twenties when I first met them, and as they were older than me, I assumed perhaps this is a part of adulthood conversations. I was very wrong indeed.

Hmm, I think she's projecting her own issues with body image and self love on you, especially since you've been making effort and changes. If she disturbs your peace or makes you question about yourself I would drop her. Rather be alone than surrounded by LV people.

The rule I follow now is if anyone is on the fence, it's a no. No more 'wait and see what happens', 'maybe they were in a bad mood, had a bad day, maybe I should change, think differently, etc.' Underhanded compliments are a red flag.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/05/21 09:49 PM

You can sometimes catch his mask slipping if you say or do something that doesn't follow their wanted agenda. It's a flash of anger or frustration. This applies to women as well. When you see that, run and stay out of touch with them.

I've met tall men who were LVM, it really depends on the person. But it really does seem shorter men have bigger egos. Throughout history, men who pursued conquest were all terribly short yet succeeded in much bloodshed.

Great job! I never understand why moms don't leave even though they have supportive children. I also told my mom to leave her NVM husband, she can go to college, I'll drop out and start work, it's going to work out and she might find someone else! But no, she would always make it our fault that she has to stay. It was a total nightmare. I felt guilty for wanting to leave but deep anger in staying. I highly suggest looking into your trauma wounds as well. You can hold high values but when you don't apply them in your life or you don't understand why they're doing this, maybe believe in positive change and goodness, etc, it's, very easy to fall into LV mode. With mental illnesses, give yourself some time to recover before getting diagnosed. I'm in the same space as you. I realized I was around a lot of LV people and it was all very one sided. First and foremost, be your own best friend. A lot of my previous friends would shame me for the littlest things, and I realized they were very unhappy and jealous people. Being surrounded by those people only made me feel lonelier, and they actually put me in danger as well. So be your own best friend. Second, think about your boundaries and limits. Parental figures who were narcs set their children up for lifelong suffering. And people around them think they can't be that bad because they're your parents. Only when you go no contact with them and resolve the trauma in yourself, then you will be able to stop ending up in other narcissistic relationships. Sofia Vergara is so sweet and funny. Watch her interview where she talks about other women talking to her husband in front of her. She lets them talk but knows that her husband isn't interested in them. That interview was disgusting. I don't know how Sofia kept a smile on her face without dissociating. I feel sorry for Holly. If she has to be treated three times a week for several years, what is her family doing?

Practice and surrounding yourself with HV people. Even the most confident woman will have doubts in the back of her mind. The key is to hold your ground and giving yourself the time and space to take breaks. Boundaries are a good place to start.

Out of interest, do your parents come from a certain religion or culture? How did they decide that your dad covers everything? Regardless, I've come to a conclusion that this is how I will live if I ever get married.

LVW seriously enjoy watching other women other. They sometimes purposely cause the drama. Honestly these women will only get worse as they grow older.

People with bad taste envy those with good taste and try to mimic it. Except it becomes cringey. Male and female gaze happens because they have never seen anything so beautiful like you and will steal your glow. People can be so f-ed up.

In the old old age, men used to marry women for money then murder them so they can marry other women for money. Now if that's not gold digging what is? Patriarchy projecting their BS on women.

The lengths that people go through. I had one employer who tried to sabotage my job search and when I quit he said ' oh you know your supposed to tell where you're going to work next?' like no I don't? Often I find people asking irrelevant questions. And if I don't feel comfortable with one question, I just roll my eyes and move on.

Sometimes I let people trample over me because I get so sick of them being pushy or nagging but that's when you lower your boundaries. From now on I will just bite people who push or nag me.

Always vet his character first. If he crosses boundaries earlier on, he will definitely cross them enough to rape you. Also, don't be afraid to scream, slap, kick, punch, etc when he does try something. I use to not to any of that to not cause a scene but your safety matters. Rape isn't something easy to overcome mentally.

Sometimes we might not even know how to rest. Or saying no when we want a rest. Instead of how others feel, we need to know how we feel. Why is there a saying 'Behind every successful man is an amazing woman?' or why mothers are so important to a child's upbringing? Happy moms = happy kids, sad moms= sad kids. So yes, how we feel is so important, in fact, it's the most important and it's so hard to accept it as it is because we've been conditioned from early childhood that 'feelings don't matter…

There is an interview where the guys were grouped together and girls in another group. The women cast were great- glowing, positive and funny. The interviewer was a woman and the first question she gets asked by the one of the male cast were 'what's in your drawer?' as there was a drawer behind her. He proceeded to heckle and make jokes with sexual inneundo.

Yep. Complaining is a manifestation of resentment. Resentment is a very strong and difficult emotion to process and recover from. Anger is the sign that you need to take steps and change course. What about calling people out? Prince Charles was definitely not HVM and from observing Kate Middleton and Megan Markle, the Royal family don't seem so pleasant to be around with. Where is the line drawn in having power but not abusing it and having power and welding it?

The whole point is to lower your self esteem and break your boundaries. You'll be left wondering why. BUT. If you know why they're doing it, you won't fall for it and you'll see how pathetic they really are. This! I'm so glad this subreddit exists and advocates for women, but it's unfortunate that there are a lot of women out there who think putting other women down is essential for survival. Even though being a single lady is really rewarding, having a solid group of girl friends is like adding a cherry on top. Other red flags I've found in LVW: - They copy you and constantly say you're so lucky, I'm jealous, etc. It shows they have no personality of their own and are unhappy with themselves. - The…

I've been kicking out a lot of people in my life, so this will apply to both men and women. If there is a red flag or any part of them that makes me think 'uh...' I no longer give chances or sympathy, my life is too short to think about other people's behavior. Do I actually like hanging out with them? This is a surprisingly underrated question we need to ask ourselves. If there is a difference to our values, I will no longer compromise. We are just different people and it's important to find th…

Sex work isn't empowering because your income depends on the men seeking it. It's a huge red flag if men engage in those services because it shows that they lack the communication skills and emotionality to connect with people. I find the healthy and happy couple marry within one to two years. Abusers will try and lock you down in two months. You will be able to tell who is an abuser between two weeks to two months. Women who wait for the proposal will be waiting for their whole life.

If you're ever missing things, there is a high chance that the LVM (or LVW) took them. They do this because 1) if it was something expensive or decent looking, they gifted to someone else 2) they don't want you to leave so they take away necessary documents 3) they don't want you to have something nice. They will act like they're innocent or don't know what you're talking about.

Definitely. With losing friends, I feel like I've awakened a second time. Looking back in my life, I really liked being alone and I was also much better off when I was alone. Some guy bumped into me on a wide open street with barely any people and tried to start a conversation from there. Another time I bought takeout for myself and a guy who was driving in a car asked me if I needed a lift. The audacity.

When you're marrying someone, you're marrying into their family. Also be wary of momma's boys. They will always value the opinion of their mother over their spouse.

Spoil yourself first, you'll see your standards level up and you don't need a man for a lot of things Even if they are being 'spoiled' by their bf or whatever, are they in a loving relationship? There is a quote somewhere on this sub along the lines of 'I'd rather be a beggar on the street than -forgot this part - rich'. Basically you could still be pickme even if you're getting what you want materially from men. Are your friends HVW with HVM? If so, maybe ask them directly for advice?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/05/21 05:51 AM

Definitely. I've met men who are pro-female or calls out toxic masculinity or join BLM but don't support his own community. All talk and no action. Seriously wtf goes on in their head.

If the kid is exploring get mom's closet or playing around with make up, that's fine. But if the mom is forcing/coercing/using the child's interest to promote herself and her life, then it's no different from human trafficking.

Men have asked me if I wanted to grab coffee. If it were strangers, I straight say no, if it's someone I knew, I thought it was a friendly hang out. Now I know that in their minds they think it's a date. So now I just won't go anymore.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy21/05/21 09:08 PM

Yep yep yep. I was in a similar group and the guys there kept asking me how I ended up in the group. Turns out almost everyone came as a couple and they would f* each other. It's just to see who they can talk to and about who. So sickening and the girls apparently come to find a bf.

I think you should choose your friends based on how you feel when you're with them. You should be able to be honest with them and they are honest with you, if not, then it's okay to drop them and move on.

I used to think like that, then thought about gender equality and what it really means. What I found out, even if you stand for equality, you will never be equal in the eyes of men who think they are above everyone else.

Thank you, I totally agree with this. If something 'triggers' you, it means that you haven't healed that part of yourself. People think that by passing their toxicity to others will somehow remove the responsibility away from them. It's another form of the blame game. And the said thing is, often there is no cure for them because they don't think they're the problem. They think the world owes them something and it can only be done by stepping over other people.

Also, if you do talk about these things to him, watch for his responses next time. If he reacts overly nice to wait staff or act pro-female, LGBT friendly, you will feel the fakeness and awkwardness of the situation.

When I hung out with women older than me, I always get told I'm young, oh such a baby oh, you're so lucky, etc honestly what matters more is your mindset and spirit and that is what's going to show on the outside. You think you hit a wall and you're old? You're old. You think you look great and feel young? You're young. Men (and predatory women) target young women because somehow they think they will regain their youthfulness by trafficking, yes trafficking, young women.

How do you not let the comments get to you? I consider myself pretty thick skinned but there's only so much one can take... It makes me scared of wearing beautiful things. I'm comfortable in my simple jumper and sweatpants, but I also like to dress more sophisticatedly at times too. Most of all it makes me annoyed when I definitely know that they earn more than me. They just spend it on booze and I don't know what else.

How do you deal with backlash or the man made consequences? At some workplaces, some men take offensive at the slightest rejection (e.g. I'm focusing on my work and he comes to small talk, or I'm on my break and say no to lunch) and they hold a grudge over that and spread a whole bunch of rumors and sabotage my work.

I'd also like to add that women are the houses. Comedian Tiffany Haddish quote: "my body is a house". To add more context, I hung out with a lot of pickmes in the past and those were common topics. You can sense when they have a hidden agenda embedded in those questions or if it's out of curiosity. Pickmes and scrotes tend to base their questions on physical appearance, who dated who or how 'liberal' or 'taste' in one's sexuality is. And they compare everyone and everything. And when you tell th…

A filter I use now is whether these people express interest in your relationship status (or relationships/specific people in general) or sex. I used to think that it was part of adult conversations but now I see it definitely as a part of conversations-with-problematic-and-insecure-people.

Don't write them on your resume. In the interview just bring up you're looking for something different. Vet your interviewer as well. We live in a mediocre world run by mediocre people. Also, if I were you I'd give them no notice. They don't respect you and giving notice is a something thoughtful. Leaving will allow you space and time to focus on your job search and healing.

Yeah, older pickmeishas also eat the young. Old men predate on young women because of their naivety and inexperience. Old men also use young women to create jealous or competition with older women for you-know-what. Sometimes an age gap relationship will work out, but the more common outcome is an unhealthy and insidious power struggle. Disgusting.

I agree with LVM being an universal thing. It's a matter of behavioral patterns. I think your current bf was lovely in that he asked when you were free then planned something, no questions or 'let's see where this goes' or gauging your interest. It sounded like he was just genuinely interested in you and courted you properly. At what point did you become interested in him?

I'm trying to figure that out too. Because so far, every woman at work has seen me as a threat and bullied me. No compassion it preaching is going to help. Story: A guy was doing work experience at his dad's friend's company. He had a huge apartment all to himself in the middle of the city at the age of 17. Didn't finish high school, won't be entering university and will be joining his dad's company and eventually succeeding him as CEO. But he was the most entitled, narcissistic dumb kid I had ever met. When men say that sexual harassment happens to them as well, I say it's complete bullshit. More than 90% of reported cases are women and instigated by men. When a woman speaks up she's called crazy and needy. I have also met pickmeisha wives who threatened their husbands to have another baby or fake pregnancies. Edit: even if they threaten to leave not sure if they follow through with... Either way it's sof-ed up

In my experience, people don't really change. Calling people out is useless because even if they do change, it's only enough for you to stay then rinse and repeat. I just distanced myself then cut the cord. You don't have to explain yourself. Also, think whether or not they really care if you left. Some might get offended but being offended and genuine worry are two very different things.

I wouldn't let the guy and children meet until you're sure about this guy. So there is a Stage 1 and a Stage 2 of vetting. But let him know you about your kids and see his response. If the mother isn't happy, the children definitely won't be happy. Depends on how old your children are as well. And look for how your children feel about him and you. Children can be very insightful.
