Look at what is going on in the world. The weak, mewling politically correct authoritarians overplayed their hands. The entire purpose of TRP boils down to one thing: become strong. The strong don't need to fear the weak. If a man fears losing his marriage because he's on this forum, he sure as shit isn't maintaining enough strength in that relationship. I might see the point about a job, but goddamn: people need to be willing to cut ties with their employer, anyway, because they will damn sure …

Yeah, there's lots of good material here that has been obfuscated from dudes who've grown up since about 1960. But there is also a lot of bittrrness, drama, and nihilism.
/r/TheRedPill15/01/17 12:11 AM

I already did. I'm old, for Reddit, anyway, and married with kids. I get the general rule of, "no marriage." But, good men choosing to forego building families is fucking over the Western world. Don't get me wrong, on an individual level, it's a rational choice. But, I'd rather fix civilization than let it rot.

I'm a white dude from a Southern family. You Asians aren't the only ones who have to carry on the family name.

I was part of "the trailer park." It's the white equivalent, I think. Like /u/Randomshortdude, I climbed out and interacted with people up and down the economic ladder. During that journey, it occurred to me that the rednecks and the hood kids actually have a lot in common. Reading OP's observations only add more evidence. A lot of what he wrote about black women applies to trailer park white girls. Further, almost everything he wrote about physical confrontation and it's role in the hood also a…

Manlet starts at 6'4 . . .or 5'4". It all depends on your humor level. I've slept with dozens and dozens of women. When I was your age, I'd only had sex one time, so don't sweat it if you're struggling. That said, I have a piece of advice: don't go after a long term relationship until you've slept with 20 women. You learn a lot from 0 to 20. You can theorize about it all day on TRP, but you won't really get it until you've done it in meat space.

Maybe you should reread, pup. I referenced two fights. One happened inside, the other outside.

Also, tall dudes never gave me hell over my height, other than normal dude shit talking. Women occasionally shit tested me, but I never gave a fuck. Being tall is really just a proxy women use to check for ass kicking ability anyway. I think because I was preturned good at fighting, I never was particularly insecure about being a manlet.

I train about 4 days a week, 2 hour sessions, plus lifting and running. I do grappling comps, but stopped striking a while back. I'm in my 30s now and don't want to deal with concussions or fuck my face up. I also haven’t been in a bar fight in years. I go to much less rough places than I did in my 20s as a single military dude.

There's no "perfect build." Different bodies have different advantages and drawbacks. I'm short and kind of stocky: 5'9" and 175. I'm good in the takedown, solid passing, and have decent top pressure. My full guard sucks, my reach is mediocre (important in grappling, not just striking) and I can't triangle for shit.

Like I told the other dipshit: believe whatever you want, man. It's the fucking internnet. But think about it, you retarded fuck, bouncers tend to remove people after the fight starts. They're not fucking psychic. Also, they aren't separated from the parking lot by some magical forcefield. Look, just because you are a pussy who can only fake dominance doesn't mean that the real thing doesn't exist.

I don't tend to put too much stock in most conspiracy theories, but I'm never surprised when they turn out to be at least partially true. Even weird shit, like when I learned Kek was a fucking frog god of darkness who brings about the night. Logically, I recognize this is just coincidence. But something in the back over my monkey brain tells me: "Don't be surprised if the elder gods running this little simulation on their galactic hypercomputer are trolling us and this is just an Easter egg hidd…

Yep. Been sucker punched by a jealous dude a couple times. Th last time it happened, the punch didn't connect square so I could react fairly well. Double leg to scramble to mount. Ground and pound until bouncers removed me - this took like 10 seconds, I got in like two shots. Went home with his woman. Banged. One other time, similar situation, but the sucker punch knocked me into a table. He was off balance and crashed into me. We ended up in a clinch and it was broken up. Got kicked out of bar.…

I am what I am. I want everything, all the time. Can't help it. I won't ever punk someone intentionally, but if I want what's his and can take it legally, well, shit. Can't help myself, unless he's on my team. Then what's his is off limits. Some random in a bar. I owe him nothing.

I try not to get too wrapped up in the details. It's the principle that matters. I'll let my wife give you an example. Yes, I'm married - I'm in my mid 30s. But, as soon as I told her this question, she had an example. She said: "Just tell him to do what you do every time I criticize you: say 'bitch, I am what I am, if you think you can do better, fucking go for it'". I don't actually call my wife a bitch, ever. She was exaggerating. But she knows that line pretty damn well, obviously. Just as s…

Nah. There are some instances that call for a beat down. Getting spit on or having a drink poured on you are two. These things can happen if you are moving in on some dude's woman.
/r/TheRedPill12/01/17 04:08 AM
6

Yes and no. There are times when you can judge a situation and make an educated roll of the dice. I mean, if someone spits in my face, I'm going to break his jaw or dislocated his shoulder, unless I'm clearly outnumbered or I know he's carrying. Everything is risk-reward. This is no different. I agree with you, generally speaking, though. It's rarely worth the risk.
/r/TheRedPill12/01/17 04:06 AM
10

I don't know why people down vote this advice when it comes up here. At the end of the day, everything a woman uses to judge a guy's worthiness of a roll in the sack is just a proxy for the eons-old question: "can he subdue or kill his opponents*? Learning to fight, really fight, cuts through all the bills hit trappings of our bitchass modern society and returns a man to the state of nature. Such experience cannot help but to seep out when interacting with women.

Great goddamn comment, right here. This is one of the most important fucking lessons a man can learn; it might be the most important. It's not a "phase." It is a state of being. Everything flows from this understanding.

My favorite retort to the short comment: "I'm plenty tall lying down." I'm 5'9" and used to catch plenty of "too short" jabs. I swear to god I slept with more tall chicks than short ones.

Good luck to you, man. Years ago, I lost the dearest person to me very unexpectedly, my mother. I was red pilled before TRP was a thing, and had had some brutal experiences by that time, including facing the deaths of multiple friends. But her death nearly put a stake in me. I will tell you that the pain never really goes away, and neither does the anger. However, in time, you will become immensely more formidable. Think of this whole little existence as a game. It's your world; everyone else is just an NPC, going about its loop. Play whatever role you want. Personally, I like the role of Conan. Seek to crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

You know, /u/NeoreactionSafe says some batshit things, and this post is a little over the top. But, the core point is still important: happiness is a fleeting emotion. That's not a value judgment; it's a fact. As such, happiness is a pretty useless goal in and of itself. And he's right that it can be exploited to encourage people to be vacuous consumers, looking for the next little fix that comes from buying this new pair of jeans or getting more "likes" on his Facebook post. Happiness is a natu…

Well, warriors from the Samurai to the Spartan considered grappling to be a core component of their training. So do elite modern combat units, which are some of the last holdouts of unabashed masculinity in the modern West. But, I'm sure you are much more bad ass than all of these groups, right?

Grappling is my meditation. Nothing else gets close to putting me in the moment quite like a fight. Furthermore, as Chuck Palahniuk tells us in "Fight Club," the volume level of life's little problems get turned down. Physical struggle gives a man perspective. The more difficult the struggle, the more one's perspective is broadened. Almost all typical stressors are laughable when compared with direct physical confrontation. MMA gyms, the legit ones anyway, are also one of the last bastions of un…

Maybe it's the delivery. I do this all the time, but typically keep it humorous. I sure as hell don't let myself get into a screeching match with a harpy. I have, on occasion, intentionally flustered people like this in order to get an over reaction and make clear to everyone present who is the non-rational party. This takes caution, though, as it can inflame the white knight brigade. Further, it must be done selectively, otherwise you run the risk of being perceived as a bully.

We will ultimately pay for the costs of our degeneracy in blood. Make no mistake. I do know, however, as I'm sure you do, that there are a great number if men who retain their edge, but carry on quietly, in the service or out. It is our job to find those men and cultivate that strength outside the public domain. The Red Pill is a doorway for some folks who seek that path, though most are just here to score chicks--really, they're still jumping through hoops for pittance pussy, as you put it. Tha…

I think I was slightly misaligned as I finished the last part of the pull. It was the third or fourth rep in a set (don't remember for sure), so I imagine my form had begun to break. It wasn't a ton of weight, maybe 315 or so; I was surprised by the strain. My shoes suck. I wear Nike Free flats when i lift. I was on my weightlifting team in high school; I learned how to deadlift there. It's been a part of my routine since then, but I never did deads with heavy weight (nothing above 3-5 reps with…

Jesus Fucking Christ. I listened to like 60 seconds. I could go no further. That guy's voice, the cucked dude, just made me cringe. There is no universe in which that voice is connected to a strong, masculine body. Really, this should lift the spirits of a lot of younger guys who visit this sub. I've shacked up with a couple chicks like this. One had been a semi-famous (in her head, anyway) reality TV star. Awesome to bang; terrible for literally anything else. Seriously, bro, I hope you have a shit load of fun with this chick. See if she can get one of her orbiters to buy you a car or something. That said, I wouldn't even invite her to my place. Reading your post makes me remember why I pray, every fucking day, for the zombie apocalypse. We need something like that to provide to stupid fucks like you an understanding of what life is really like. Perhaps feminists in Asheville should trot on over to western Iraq and try to enlighten ISIS about the dangers of patriarchy. I'm sure that exchange would be quite enlightening for all sides.

Yep. I once had to use the Heimlich to dislodge a piece of food from a lady in a restaurant. No one did shit to help her for a solid 60 seconds while it was clear she was choking; I came from all the way across the restaurant to get to her. Her husband watched the whole thing, looking dumbstruck the whole time. Most humans are useless.

It's especially depressing when a most impressive, capable, and masculine man succumbs to this, as is the case with Jenner. In a way, Jenner is a perfect analogy for America itself: a mighty Titan brought low not by defeat but by its own confusion and self-loathing.

That's just honesty. In fact, 95% of what people here call "negging" is just being honest. Men almost never level with women. That's the only "game" I ever ran, and people seemed to think it was some trick. I have had friends ask me why women didn't intimidate me, and I'd say: "Dude, really ask yourself how attractive she is; pretend you just saw her on the street." 9 times out of 10 the answer is, "She's nothing special." Not who you responded to, but I have a couple pieces of general advice. Make sure your resume is well written and free of errors. If you won't build a good product for yourself, I'm skeptical you'd do anything worthwhile for me. Research the damn job. In an interview, I'm going to ask if you have questions about the job. If it's clear you haven't looked into the company or cield , I will assume you just aren't that interested. Don't bullshit the interviewer. Don't exaggerate. If you don't know s…

Beaches are overrated, especially when you have a nice body of water running right through Nashville. Drive a little to the East or South and you have great hiking and snowboarding. Have you never heard of the Appalachian trail? Cost of living is much more reasonable. You can buy very nice plots of land for a few thousand bucks an acre, sometimes less. The laws are much more reasonable. For instance, you can own a gun and shoot regularly without jumping through hoops like a dancing bear. Taxes a…

Yep. And they are much less brainwashed than the girls you find on the coasts. Sure, AWALT, but girls in cities like Nashville, Charlotte, and Savannah are just much better packages than what you typically get in NY or LA. They're just as good looking, much less high maintenance, and there's a fair chance you'll find one with a reasonably Red Pill outlook. This is a side track, but related. There is one business sector that is really overdue for the Uber treatment: motherfucking realtors. I always, always, attempt a for-sale-by-owner for a few months when I know I'm about to move. It doesn't always work, and the reason is that MLS is a straight up barrier designed to require third party transaction in a sale. Before cheap database solutions existed, MLS made sense. There was no easy way for people to search for houses otherwise, and realtors serve…

No one is bashing a man for having feelings. It's his inability to control them that is the issue. Of course we are all human, and each has a breaking point. Nevertheless, when a man displays weakness as a leader, it casts doubt as to his capability to lead. So, why should we be surprised that a woman would naturally react negatively to such a display, however justified it may be? A woman's biology will compel her to nurture her children, not her husband. This is only natural.
/r/TheRedPill24/08/15 06:53 PM
2

Dude, literally all of TRP backs up what I said. Read the side bar. It is a very easy-to-see implication of hypergamy that a woman will be disgusted with this type of behavior. The guy clearly can't maintain his own emotional state, why would you think he could "curb" someone else's nature? Do you swat a dog for pissing on the carpet? Sure. But, why the fuck would you get angry at the dog for marking its territory, which is its nature?

. . .it simply is. I try so hard to get this through to people, not just on the internet, but in life--like fucking daily. I say things and they immediately think I'm making a moral pronouncement. Would someone (other than Luce Irigaray) say that Einstein was making a moral judgment when he described the relationship between matter, energy and the speed of light? Of course not. Then why make do we assume that a statement about biology is somehow a moral one?
/r/TheRedPill24/08/15 03:11 PM

This thread is going to really separate those who have truly taken the pill from those who have not. It's a very simple test. If your first reaction toward this woman is anger, with the question "how could she do this" popping into your head, you have not internalized the pill. If you read this and say, "of course she is disgusted," you have likely swallowed the pill. It's that simple.

I was just about to say this. If dudes here want to understand, they need to imagine a wife or girlfriend coming home one day literally a hundred pounds heavier than when she left that same morning. She then explains to you that this weight has "hit her like a ton of bricks" and that she wants comfort. Picture that for a moment. Biologically, this is what is happening to the wife. Those of you who are angry with her for that haven't fully accepted the pill yet.

You are spitting anger and rage instead of accepting the dynamic between men and women as it is and being at peace with it. Part of the rage is justified. We live in a degenerate and soft society where weaklings who, by biological and historical standards, should be chattel are somehow coming out on top. It's unnatural for those who could not lead a hunting or war party to have such status. Now, the deeper RP solution, as you say, is to accept the change in social environment and adapt according…

The guy lives and breathes TRP. Guys who "live and breath" TRP don't look like that. I'm all about capitalism, but let's not bullshit: the things that get a man money in this effete civilization don't necessarily imply that he's manly. I'd rather have my position in life than his, assuming I'd have to trade physiques Really, I think if I was in the same room with the two of them, I'd have a solid shot of getting her to cheat if I were so inclined. I'm not bullshitting at all. Maybe that makes me…

Good post all around. From what I have seen, a woman who wants to do either of those jobs ends up adapting to the culture instead of the other way around simply because the culture is necessary to get the job done. The ones who truly want to be competent do this, and they earn respect. Unfortunately, the pull to play the victim and/or use sexuality to get ahead is too strong. The Pareto effect comes into play and the majority of women do both of the above, and then seek to "change a toxic cultur…

Although we realize that the military is largely comprised of a whole bunch of bullshit, there are some core capabilities that you have which modern young American men need. So, take this and run with it. Find a group of guys who want to learn to shoot, for example, or understand the basics of security so they can protect their homes. These are skills that men want and the only way they can get them is through overpriced "program" peddled by former military guys looking to make a buck. I have no…

All relationships are transactional. This imagined grand gulf between "normal" people, whom you call "empaths," and the supposed pathological population of so-called "sociopaths" is not so grand at all. Consider this: why does a "normal" person want to be in a relationship? Is it not ultimately for their own emotional betterment? How is this not transactional? The only differences in relationships among people of varying emotionality are the terms of the transaction.

Dude, now that you are older, you should take up BJJ. Wrestling is a fantastic base for the sport; fighting a competent wrestler is a challenge because their ability to use weight and body position is top notch. They are also tenacious. But, BJJ is easier on the body, at least in the gi. No-gi is really a lot like catch wrestling. In any case, good luck convincing people with no grappling background how outmatched they would be against a skilled ground fighter, even a smaller or weaker one.

That 5x strength is a popsci factoid that originated with a very flawed study in the 30s. More recent research confirms a sure strength difference, but nothing like that. It's about 1.5x modification, after adjusting for size differences.

LOL at "teh streetz" argument. Here. How did that "resolute man" do agains the skinny hipster who just happened to be a BJJ purple belt? We had the test. The 90s gave us no-holds-barred fighting in the UFC, and the result was clear: some martial arts really are legit; most are not. Of those that are legit, BJJ will truly negate significant size and strength advantage. None of this is even remotely up for debate. Again, LOL at "teh streetz."

No one is doubting that women are considerably weaker than men, and less naturally capable in a fight. In fact, I'd argue that the difference between a man and a woman is probably greater than the aforementioned contest between a man and a chimp. What you're failing to realize is that BJJ really does nullify a lot of that advantage. It's not magic; even a very well-trained 125 pound woman is going to have a problem with a fit 175 pound man. That said, if the woman is a legit purple belt and the …

You and I see things almost the exact same way. I have said before that Westerners currently live in a bubble that shields people from the natural consequences of theiron actions. There are legitimate reasons to employ women in combat zones, this being a prime example. What is important is that people are employed because they are needed, and not because of some vague "right" to serve in the armed forces. Does anyone think that a guy in a wheelchair, intelligent and capable though he may be, needs to be in the infantry? Of course we do not. It follows that any argument for military service based upon "equal opportunity" is absurd, on its face.

The problem is that they can't catch prey that has evolved to run on land. Ape anatomy is not optimized for running. Ours isn't, either; at least not for sprinting. This is a damn interesting comment. I'd argue that it has to do with tangibility and effort level. Small units in the military accomplish tactical missions. These are very concrete and tangible tasks, and require considerable effort, much of it physical. At higher echelons the tasks are much more vague. The broad goals of feminism are also vague, and require little actual effort. Really, all that is required is to signal your support. So, perhaps women more readily rally around vague causes wher…

Yeah, this is generally good strategy. I didn't employ it because, at the time, I was just going with what I thought would best neutralize the target's size advantage. I did not properly assess the situation as a whole. Oh, well. Lesson learned, and with minimal damage to any party involved.

It's royally fucked in the head, and is downright retarded, but some women would rather get beat within an inch of their life, than be with a nice guy. This is just evolution working its magic. Throughout most of human history, a guy who's good at violence has a lot better chance of keeping a woman and her children alive when the clan next door decides to raid. A pussy will die in place or run, leaving her to be raped, enslaved or murdered. As a result, it was better to keep around a violent guy…

Only if you demonstrate less value than the dude who's handing out face punches to the woman. Years ago, before I'd learned to just let people handle their own messes, I jumped in to save a woman who was getting her ass beat by a dude on the street in front of a bar. He easily had five inches and fifty pounds on me, but was unskilled and out of shape, and so I put him to sleep quickly. It turned into something of a brawl as the guy's buddy started to kick me while I fought. So, my friend stepped…

Obviously, as others here have said, she might as well not exist to you anymore. But, to keep your own emotions in check, remember this. Your emotions are based upon evolving in circumstances that aren't entirely relevant anymore. They are telling you that she is one of the few fertile women in your 150-person tribe, and you just lost out. This is not the case. There are billions of women and they make new ones every day. There's no shortage. And, even better; there's just one of you.

She just clammed up and stopped talking, which was kind of the point of my comment anyway. My friends' reactions ranged from laughter to silence. I was kind of on the outskirts of that group to begin with; I just knew them through a girl I was hooking up with at the time. As a result, my give-a-shit level was pretty low. Also, I don't think she was particularly popular with that group, and I was subtly complimenting them through my insult, anyway.

I have, too. And, when I peel that onion back ever so slightly, I find people typically do these jobs because it gives them a sense of superiority over those they are "helping." As an example, I recall a social worker who would, from time to time, interact with my social circle. She sucked in a lot of ways: unattractive, poorly educated, quite unintelligent and rather slovenly. Of course, her favorite thing to do was talk about the bad decision-making skills of her "clients" and all the good she…

It's not hard to understand the logic behind SJW actions; the problem is that you are looking at their arguments. Just remember that humans don't do justice; they do power. They just use words like "justice" to help sell their particular form of power-grab to outsiders. Pay no attention to their arguments; there is no point in trying to find logic in those. Recognize that these arguments exist only as a form of marketing. Always remember, pay attention to what people do, not what they say. Once …

I don't really disagree with what you are saying here, but I have one caveat. In my current incarnation, I care very little about what is or is not socially acceptable. I think that Western society is in for a collapse that will look something like what we saw in late 18th Century France. In 99.9% of situations, you are right. Hell, you often see me toss out the phrase, "there are billions of women and they make new ones every day; there is just one of me." Ah. You're a chick. This post is for men. How you personally claim to select your men is irrelevant. What matters isame that men learn a lesson from my story of fucking up and then recovering, and ultimately finding the ability to cut ties with anything that does not add value to one's life. Ultimately, the lessons I learned from this rejection are more important than any relationship that might have emerged had it not gone down this way.

Oh yes. It just took me a while to understand that real and perceived value are very different things, and when women are involved, the latter and not the former is what matters. I had spent time rising from bottom to top, and had a number of successes at that time without learning skillful interaction. In my ignorance, I assumed women would assessment value accurately. It took a while for me to learn that,. Unfortunately, I didn't figure that out with this particular interaction. I had to fuck …

In terms of sex, I rejected girls because they weren't attractive active enough. I could do better, that night, and usually did. In terms of an actual relationship, I rejected almost all comers, because I knew I could do better. The whole "not my type" thing is a myth. Women and men size each other up and anewer the question: "Should I bang?" For women, if that answer is "yes" it means that the answer to "should I date" is also likely a yes. This isn't the case for men.
/r/TheRedPill12/04/15 12:15 AM

I'be always taken the "red pill" concept to be more broad. It is the choice to see things as they are, rather than as we want them to be. Seal strategy is but one component of that.
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 11:58 PM
0

Correct. Now, this is just a good story. At the time, of course I was angry. And the truth is, anger is useful. It is fuel. But, anger must be brought under the yoke of purposefull action, otherwise it is consuming. I was angry about many things, and for a long time. This incident was only a minor spark, really. Growing up rough will do that to a young man. But, over time, the anger has faded. What remains is discipline and understanding, which is far more useful.
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 11:53 PM

Oh, I most certainly did. Looking back, it's quite humorous and I'm glad this was before social media took off. The point of the story is to look at a transformational event and distill important lessons--both good and bad.
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 11:47 PM

Yes. That was the kind of the point of the story, to discuss a key transformational event and pull out the lessons.
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 11:43 PM
5

Oh, looking back I totally fucked things up. I hadn't really honed my skill set yet. I had the fundamentals down: be exceptional. And this alone goes a long way. I basically went from very low value to very high value over a short period of time. And, I got laid because of it. As such, I thought that was the end of the story. It took a few more knocks to learn that real and assessed value are very different things, and that especially where women are concerned, the latter is matters.

Of course there is emotion. Rejection by someone whose opinion you once valued will cause emotion; it's natural, especially when you are young. Stoicism isn't, "no emotion." It is, "overcome emotion in one's actions."

This was quite some time ago. Now, I just see things for what they are. There's no emotion in it. I recognize the scorpion'so nature and act accordingly. But, my 20 year-old self had not really internalized these lessons. The result was anger, and there's nothing wrong with that. I imagine almost all men have been in a similar situation. What matters is how you deal with the emotion. I didn't go on a rampage or even lose my cool. I just bailed, and by God, that's more than most people that age i…

I find this to be rare. Women want the best. If one woman introduces you to her group and makes it clear she has no interest in you, it immediately lowers your value. At the time this story took place, I was doing well-enough on without her assistance. I stood to gain little from her presence except the potential for knocking me off my game due to oneitis.
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 10:42 PM
23

A friendship with a woman, unless motivated by business or family interest, is all but useless. That was ultimately the conclusion I came to. Why invest in something where you stand to gain so little?
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 10:24 PM
23

Maybe it is; maybe it isn't. What matters is that I don't waste time with people with whose interaction I gain nothing. Her friendship simply did not benefit me, so why invest in it?
/r/TheRedPill11/04/15 10:22 PM

16

The "why" is simple: we have mostly solved the big problems. Think about this one simple thing: our poorest demographics tend to be obese. Women have inherent value by virtue of their sexuality. Men do not. This is an effect of how our species has evolved. Men are valued because of what they can do. As more and more immediate problems (e.g. procuring today's meal) are solved by increasingly complex systems, the role of men is made less and less visible. Sure, the guys who are maintaining the sof…

The point is that we're all into plastic. This doesn't mean that we don't look for additional traits in potential long-term mates, but looks are the first gate that must be crossed. Beyond that, women will want to maximize any potential mate's looks. Biology makes reproduction a more long-term affair for women, thus optimizing for quality makes a lot of sense. Men can be much less choosy, from a biological standpoint. After all, to reproduce we just need to bust.

Some psychology is solid; it's just takes some effort to filter legitimate work from nonsense. In general, if the data is based on self-reporting (e.g. the posts I listed or "emotional intelligence"), then it's probably bullshit. If, on the other hand, the data is based on objective performance measures (e.g. IQ) or utilizes imaging techniques (e.g. fMRI), then it's likely to have some merit.

Those who study fighting closely learn that, in general, bigger is better, but that comes with caveats. First, there'should a reason high level fights have weight classes and not height classes. Assuming equivalent fitness levels, a significant weight advantage indicates a likely strength overmatch, and thus a general advantage in the fight. This isn't the case with height. Height is advantageous in some regards, such as out fighting in boxing. But, it can be disadvantageous when infighting or w…

You're not entirely wrong about hatred. Anger has certainly motivated me from time to time. That said, rage can be taxing. So, as I've gotten older, I find myself being much more selective about what things are allowed to piss me off.

Here are some terms: "Decision Theory," "Rational Decision Model," "Values Based Decision" or "Choice Processing." Note that "values" does not mean "moral," but rather a way to "valuate" different options. Some more specific models you might want to look up include: "Decision Tree," "Bayes Net," "Multi-Attribute Value Model." There are shit loads of authors. Look up the guys I listed in the OP; they're solid. Like I said, the material can't be fully appreciated without a basic understanding of p…

It depends on where you train, of course. Also, if a guy can walk off the street and out fight the guys who train at your gym, I question that gym's legitimacy. I promise you that if you go to a legitimate BJJ, wrestling or boxing gym that your experience in this regard will be different. That's an unfortunate part of martial arts today; it's sometimes difficult to discern the real from the bogus. One good metric is this: if the arts taught are highly regarded in professional MMA (e.g. UFC, Prid…

The MMA community is an excellent choice for young men to consider joining. Despite propaganda suggesting otherwise, the fight scene cintains some of the most cerebral and honest discussions to be found in the 21st Century West. It is one of the few cultural advancements to emerge from the last few decades. It is, in my view, generally superior to standard gym rat culture which is often pushed in TRP.

They bring nothing to the table. They have no utility to me. This is an insightful realization, my friend. I was the only one who made my way into the higher echelons of society, financially speaking. Whenever I run into them, which is rare now, the gulf between us is vast. I wonder if OP would do the same shit IRL to people's face on the street. I fucking seriously doubt it. Not long ago, some dude on TRP said to me, "If you're in DC, come at me brah!" Dudes, I'm the OP from that thread. I didn't know about MRP; now I do. Some of the dudes on TRP are still angsty kids. They're waking up to the world and realizing they've been fed a pile of shit. They're still reacting, replacing BP dogma with what they think is RP dogma, instead of attempting to attain actual enlightenment. Nothing wrong with that; it's part of the process. If your test levels are high there is no way in fucking hell you will tolerate nagging and negging. However if your test levels are low you will tolerate her shit and argue with her as an equal, which proves to her that you have low testosterone; the testosterone of a woman. Oh, no, I don't dispute that at all. Like I said in the OP, marriage is, generally speaking, a bad deal for men. I'm just pointing out that some of us, myself included, want a family. If that is the case, marriage is viable, even if the institution has been utterly corrupted by our weakened and effette society. I'm certainly not telling anyone to get married; hell, I'd still advise against it. I'm just giving advice for those who have a desire for family, given the unfavorable environment.

Yeah. I recognize that TRP is focused on male-female relationships, but much of what can be found here is much broader. What I wrote is applicable to managers in an office environment. This is absolutely true. I was a 2LT in the infantry, and I remember it very well. I always found that there were, broadly, two types of lieutenants: those who played sports, and those who didn't. The former just wanted to be a quarterback on the team and were very willing to let others do much of the decision-making, leaving some broad shot-calling to the officer. The latter wanted to be a fucking dictator and micromanage every damn decision made in the platoon. You could always tell an officer…

Is your wife physically able to stop you from leaving? No. So, leave when you want to leave. Spending a few hours doing something you want to do isn't going to hurt anyone. Remember what you said, "it's never enough." Follow that to it's logical conclusion. It means that spending zero hours doing something on your own is equivalent to spending twenty hours a week doing the same in her mind. So, given that you're going to catch hell regardless, you might as well do something for yourself. As soon…

You're right, but this can only last so long. Eventually, there just isn't enough to go around and that's when you get a society that starts to crumble. And yet, "children" of this age have successfully occupied any number of positions of authority throughout history. Prior to the modern era, officers in the military were routinely this age and younger. Napoleon was an artillery officer by 16. Dude, I study the Mongols. They were fucking bad to the bone. Their armies could move at paces that weren't matched until halfway through the 20th Century. They had a borderline modular organizational structure. Their tactics were goddamn genius; they would feign retreats for days, only to extend an enemy's lines and envelop him. This reply deserves a reasonable response. I appreciate it. What is the "true nature?" The ultimate purpose of a military is to destroy enemies of the state and/or deter potential enemies from aggression. All of this revolves around the capacity to do violence. It's that simple. At what point in the past do you believe things were right? This all depends on what you consider "right." That said, I would argue that we sit now at the pinnacle of US might. No one really threatens us, and so we have …

They're concerned with it, but even their own concerns must bow to the greater dogma of "equality." Will they throw national defense under the bus? Yep, in a fucking heartbeat. They will never abandon leftist dogma, however.

The reason it is a sign of decay is simple. It is a microcosm of a society that subordinates something important (e.g. national defense) to a dogmatic agenda (e.g. "equality"). It forces that same society to ignore incontrivertible truth (e.g. men are physically superior to women in the domains which are important for an infantryman) and parrot said dogma (e.g. "it is a woman's right to join elite military forces) in its place. So, no, in and of itself women who graduate from Ranger School are n…

I have not and have no intention of it. Well, I have completed it and I have interacted with women in various other courses. So, perhaps that experience counts for something. No, especially in elite forces like the Rangers, there is no need to lower standards. I assume it's already hard enough to find good people, and they can afford to be selective. Since you're not willing to give this course, or other similar ones, a shot, at least go talk to those who have, like myself. Just talk to them; as…

The title of my post is "Signs of the End," not "Causes of the End." I didn't say that women going to Ranger School was going to cause the collapse of civilization. I said that it is an indicator that the decay which causes said collapse is growing stronger. By the way, have you gone to Ranger School? If you haven't, sign up and give it a try. Preferable, go with a class where there are women. Then, get back to me and tell me I'm wrong.

Shouldn't you also be railing against the culture of laziness instead of feminism? These are just two symptoms of the same disease: cultural decay caused by decades of overabundance. . . .and you probably don't care for the idea of women in the military to begin with. I know more than a few solid women service members and would recommend them for leadership positions across corporate America. They are, however, a somewhat rare commodity. Really good male soldiers are also rare, but less so.

With the invention of civilization, violence has become less arousing to women. Co-operation and social skills are now much, much more highly valued. Perhaps you have heard that both prisoners and CEOs have similar psychological traits. The one thing that separates them is IQ. A high IQ allows you to suppress impulse and analyze risk more thoroughly. This means that a high IQ person with dominant personality traits will not necessarily resort to violence, but it will still be in his nature. This will manifest itself in any number of ways, from the way in which he carries himself to his speech patterns. And, guess what, these are the exact thi…

Military service in a combat arms capacity is the best we have today. Next up are heavy contact sports like football, wrestling, and boxing. At the elite levels, these may actually be better outlets for masculine growth than the military. Feminists are doing their damnedest to corrupt these remaining masculine subcultures, of course.

Rites of passage are out there; they are just getting fewer and further between. In the past, military service was mandatory and provided a rite of passage, of sorts. Nothing really exists civilizations wide anymore, but certain groups certainly have them. You just hav e to seek out the right groups.

It should be noted that men outnumber women 2:1 at IQ ranges above 130 or so, and the ratio grows even more at the extreme ranges. Given that high IQ women will want even higher IQ men, and the fact that men outnumber them greatly at extreme intelligence levels, I would actually expect more hypergamy, not less.

I would just kick her to the curb and spend no further emotional energy on the matter. No point in being angry about it. AWALT, right? What matters is this: do not fuck with my shit. I am a real alpha. This means that nothing, nothing, enrages me like taking my shit. It means that I love physical violence, but am smart enough to know risk-reward is typically bad in today's society. But, you choose to simultaneously take my shit and put yourself in a spot where I can hurt you and get away with it…

I agree with all. However. . . If I caught a man with my wife, I would deal with him harshly. Were I to catch him in my home, I would beat him to within an inch of his life then file charges for assaulting me. I would then sue him in civil court. I would do this not because of some "bro code," but because he took what was mine. In short, I would treat him just like someone who stole from me. Amorality works both ways.

I'd argue that anger, in and of itself, is fine. What matters is how the individual uses it. Anger can be fuel, if it's applied in a disciplined manner toward worthy goals. If someone lacks discipline, however, anger inevitably leads to self-destruction. In any case, I'll take anger any day over despair, which is a simply useless emotion.

I have argued this many times, and of course have had the full range of SJW labels thrown at me because of it. I'd actually argue that what's really going on is divergence. So, what you have is a sexually selected split, where some groups are actually likely increasing in average intelligence, rather than a generic downward trend. Of course, intelligent people…

Most women will not show up at your doorstep if you ignore them. You're right. Most won't. But some will. And that's the problem I'm addressing here. So is conservatism, almost by definition. I didn't say it wasn't. . . .enable the existence of a wealthy, powerful overclass. This is just human nature. In fact, it is deeper than that. The question you should be asking is – in what way can you use the circumstances in which you find yourself to your advantage? Most excellent. I was in a course for the military once, and we were outlining a tactical plan. The instructor asked me to break down the terrain, stating whether it gave the enemy or myself the advantage. I said: "It is always to my advantage, sir, because I use it properly."

This is kind of my point. Our society has a lot of artificial constructs. I know it is heresy to quote a woman on this sub, but my wife said something very insightful when she and I first started dating: "Civilization is built upon the suppression of biology." She was wrong on her broader point, and ultimately conceded, but this particular statement was on point. Because of these artificial constructs, traits that served men very well in the state of nature are strongly suppressed currently. Thi…

From the introduction on the side-bar here: Acknowledging Reality Finally, I think our focus should always remain on ensuring that we challenge the reality we perceive and discuss precisely and objectively whether or not our beliefs line up with the testable results we can replicate. I am a firm believer that potential success can only be maximized by maximizing your knowledge of the factors surrounding your success. Keeping your eyes closed and ignoring evidence and facts will not benefit you. …

It's absolutely useful! Being in shape, confident, and knowlegeable is its own reward. And, it typically doesn't hurt your chances of scoring. But, to say that these things make you an "alpha" is bullshit. I don't care how much you work out at the gym, the real test comes when you are in immediate physical danger. If you respond instinctively with fear, you are probably not an "alpha." Most people actually respond with both, but one emotion will dominate the other, and fear dominates in most peo…

You're close. My argument is that alpha traits are largely psychological. I think they are often correlated with physical ones (e.g. strength, height), but it's not always the case. So, you can have physically weak men who exhibit many traits of dominance, and you can have physically strong men who do not. I'm pretty convinced these things trend together, of course, but it's not a 1 to 1 correlation. Generally, I think it has to do with how prone to violence someone is. These things are shown ea…

You might be an alpha and not get laid, you might be an omega and get laid because you've learned the right words to say and the right gestures to make at the right time. This is very true. Alpha traits are attractive to women, but they can also be frightening. It's all dependent on their mood and the setting.
/r/TheRedPill04/09/14 05:22 PM

Read what I wrote. I like the sub. It has a lot of good points. But, if people here want to value truth, then drop the whole "trying to be alpha" mantra, and just say "trying to get laid." It's more honest. Alternately, just say, "trying to become a better version of myself." Using terms (e.g. "alpha" and "beta") without an honest assessment of what they mean is the kind of shit that feminists do.
/r/TheRedPill04/09/14 05:18 PM

It's not non-constructive. I thought an underlying core value of TRP was no-bullshit truth. If you are deluding yourself, who gives a shit if you can get laid.

One doesn't "strive" to be alpha. Here's the deal. If you're nit-picking over this particular word or that particular phrase, you are nowhere near being an "alpha"--even in the weakened modern sense of the word.

God. Damnit. I fucking hate when women fucking ask me to buy them drinks. I'm not above buying a woman a drink. I've done it plenty of times. However, if they ask for it, especially if that's like their goddamn opener, it's going to be humiliating for them. I've responded just like you did many, many times. I've been much more rude about it. At one point, some silly broad (who was quite drunk and already had a drink in her hand) asked me to buy her a drink as I was getting something at the bar o…

I assumed they were all just out to get theirs, and did it to varying degrees of success. So, I must admit, when TRP came about, I dismissed it as being a somewhat more bi…

Oh yeah. There's no doubt who my real father is. We look very similar, like strikingly, and genetics tests my sister and I confirm that we've both got the same parents. My mom lived nowhere near anyone else she dated during the time my sister and I could have been conceived.

Most of the men she dated weren't bad guys at all. One of them, like the man I mentioned, became something of a mentor to me. However, TRP has some things wrong about the whole concept of an "alpha." The truth is that desire and ability to dominate is largely inborn. All men have it to some degree, but some have it way more than others. Like IQ, you can improve a little within a certain range, but much of what makes an "alpha" is inborn. (Look up the "warrior gene" for some evidence.) I'm pretty…

Most men have similar definitions of a 9. Extremely attractive face. Very good symmetry. Clear skin. Things like that. High fitness level. BMI no greater than 22 or so. High intellect. This advice is worth what you pay for it, so take it with a grain of salt. But, I say that you discuss what you are interested in, how you decide to discuss it. Period. I'm just a computer networks engineer, so I've not seen combat. So talking about that isn't very interesting to most. Many women aren't particularly interested in anything very deeply. What did/do you do in the Army? If you were in any form of combat arms, the fear of some broad's rejection should pale in comparison to the fear of eating an IED. Also, Army towns are a motherfucker--at least in the US. I used to be in. The available male/female ratio is fucked, and there are so many hard-up dudes that women really get a sense of entitlement. Well, being sheltered as a kid certainly didn't do you any favors. Do you compete in rowing or power lifting? Any competition will expose you to defeat, which should cause a fear reaction. Many people are terrified of defending their work. If you did that with ease, carry it over to talking to women. After all, much less is at stake. If you had failed your defense, your grade, and potentially your degree, would suffer. If you fail at picking up a girl, you lose nothing.
