I've seen a number of threads recently where people say that "violence isn't alpha."

Gentlemen, this is hamstering.

Our society has taken great pains to stamp out violence, and this is not an entirely bad thing. Remember, though, that laws are not made to promote "justice" or "the greater good" or any of that horseshit. Our legal system exists for one reason: to maintain order. In other words, we have laws to prevent blood feuds from forming.

However, this is not the natural order of things. Dominant traits, as the excellent thread "Physiological Differences between Alphas and Betas" points out, all revolve around making a man primed to fight.

Because the earlier thread is quite good and has good references, I won't go into the biology of it here. Nevertheless, suffice it to say that in the animal kingdom, and specifically with respect to mammals, and more specifically with respect to humans, males who are good at violence tend to pass on their genes.

Why, then, do you suppose that women are attracted to things like a V-shaped torso, heavy musculature, or a square jaw? Because these things signal fucking fighting ability, that's why.

Now, this does not mean that I am advocating jumping to violence on a regular basis. No, as I said earlier, our society has adopted a legal system that adds significant risk to the use of violence. So, an intelligent man will weigh the benefits of using violence versus the associated risks. In the majority of cases, the combined physical risks and the legal risks make it a bad call.

But, this doesn't mean violence is stupid or never warranted. Sometimes, it is in fact the best course of action. Beyond that, naturally dominant men will find the internal struggle to be one against his urge to fight. Conversely, naturally subservient men will struggle to find the courage to fight. In fact, all of the skills of "game" are designed to assist naturally subordinate men to emulate the traits of dominant ones. Thus, if you believe that "violence is not alpha," then you do not understand the most basic biological underpinnings of male-female relationships which TRP claims to hold dear.
