You're defintly not wrong and I'm certainly not aguring, especially when social media and dating apps exist. For example, I've got a friend who gets around 4-5k likes on his shirtless gym pics and I (rightfully) assume he also does well on Tinder. Thousands of likes is good considering our small town is only around 30k. However, you can be the best looking guy in the world, but it's not going to help when you're face to face with the woman, trying to make jokes but coming off as a nervous, bumbl…

Thanks for the comment. The reason I asked is because I've noticed those who live in large cities naturally have more options in pretty much everything. I do socialize two or three evenings a week, but meeting new people in a small town of 30k is not really possible, especially when I've lived here my entire life. For example, i play pool and darts with my friends often, but it's not uncommon that the entire pub only has like five or six people in it. Basically, a non- existent population sucks.…

Make friends, be part of a group, meet women through friends of friends.

Bro, No homo, but you're hot as fuck. I think you'll be fine.

I agree. All my friends who are good with women had older sisters, or older brother's who were already good with women, due to being raised before the internet and screens were as popular as today. I have another friend who's good with women, but both himself and his dad are fucking crazy (in a good, fun way). Personally, I don't have any siblings except an older cousin who I never see, even when younger.

Thank you for the comment. Developing those skills at 15 is great, as it's young enough to stick with you while growing up, much like learning any skills early in life. However, I (28m) am the stereotypical late bloomer. Didn't have sex until a few years ago, only got laid a handful of times, nervous talking to women in bars, asking them on dates either in person or (funny enough) even on dating apps etc. How would you recommend that someone who's still pretty new to all of this gets over the fe…

Hey man, I really appreciate the help. However, do you mind if I message you? Because you seem quite similar to myself. Virgin until mind 20's, probably autistic etc.
/r/seduction26/07/26 03:50 PM

Buddy. I (28m) have got multiple friends/acquaintances who are fat, alcoholic drug addicts, and they get laid because they are charismatic and not afraid to joke around/flirt with women. It's incredible what can if you just have the balls to walk upto a random woman and say "wanna fuck?" with a cheeky slime and slight laugh.

Thank you for the comment, I really appreciate it. Are you the type that you just stick to your friends? Liek if your friends all seperated and were talking to new people would you get nervous and immediately foolow one friend or would you just have fun on your own and meet new people? I bet you are the former. This part stood out to me because it's 100% percent true. I'm from a small town and usually with atleast one of two people I know, even if my friend group splits up. On the rare occasion …

It's sounds dumb, especially when thinking about it logically. However, my inner belief is that I (average looking man, 6/10) am not good enough for an avarage looking women. My social skills just suck in general. For example, I've visited a lot of busy areas in my life and especially in the past month because of the word cup, yet I just stand there not talking to anyone, man or woman. Being a shy introvert is one thing, but not opening your mouth at all is completely different. I didn't mention…

Thanks for the comment. However, I have a question. What do I do at busy night environments like nightclubs? The music is way too loud, everyone on the dancefloor (atleast in one I visit often), and every woman is with multiple friends. How do you overcome that obstacle? Because honestly, nightclubs aren't my thing and never have been.

I could link my Instagram, but there's no point as it's both boring and hell due to not using it, and also for keeping my identity a secret. But long story short, I wouldn't be impressed if I were a hot women in her 20's. I'm also not from London, I'm from a small town in the North East

Bro wtf you think people were doing all this time for decades Not sure, I wasn't born until 1998, and didn't really care about women until I was 15 or so (2013). Think average men just fucked off and hoped they got a wife or a lil side boo? I wouldn't put it as simply as that, but yes. Before social media, you were only completing with the men that women saw most often, while now the game has changed and she can set up a date/hookup while swiping tinder on the toilet. You really can't compare th…

bro i am 5'7, i always try to stay low body fat and a little muscle, you don't even need to be a Gym bro. Same bro, I only used fat as an example. Well, it depends if you consider around 18% BF as fat or not. Personally, I think I still look good in the face.

I'm probably the wrong person to comment, as I've only had a handful (yes, literally 5) women interested. However, the ones who WERE interested all acted goofy as fuck, as opposed to the ones who weren't. Take that for what you will.

Thank you for the comment. As mentioned in the begining of my post, I do have friends, social life and hobbies. My social hobbies are pool and darts, which I play twice a week with friends, aswell as pool once per week for my local pub team. Whenever I play on game night, I have no other thoughts in my mind except the game. I ofcouse still have fun, but my hobby on that night comes first. I also take pride that my friends often rely on me to help in video games, which is something that we (typic…

It does, there's no point in lying. After watching a few mental health type videos on YouTube, I've come to the realisation that I put women on a pedestal too easily. I've also seen the phrase "Treat her like a celebrity and she'll she you as a fan" and I couldn't agree more to be honest.
/r/seduction29/04/26 06:21 AM

Probably. Although, I haven't visited this sub in around 2 years. I typically use other subs for questions like this.

Thank you for the comment. This may sound silly as we obviously don't know each other, but how the heck do you actually become comfortable in your skin?
/r/seduction06/04/26 06:27 PM

I don't actually know, that's the funny part. We're all from the same UK town of around 30k people, it's tiny. After work, you'll always see them in the same two rundown pubs everyday. I guess if you spend that much time in pubs, you eventually run into enough people. Also, they're average looking aswell, but the apps do work for them, which I find confusing.

Good question. I can understand why some people would, but no, not me personally. The mental stress of being in a room filled with people I don't know is much more nerve wracking than playing video games. One hour feels like 10, while 5 hours of videos games feels like one hour.

Thank you for the comment. If youre too nervous to go to a coffee shop bc you cant even talk to a female barista then you need serious practice reps socializing with women. I unfortunately wasn't joking, I recently got a knot in my stomach while walking past on the way to somewhere else. It's obviously a different environment, but I also can't remember the last time I spoke to a women at a nightclub, it must have years despite going 5 or 6 times a year. I typically just stand there dreading it. …

Mostly logistics. For example, if I'm sat in a coffee shop and everyone is seated (unlike a nightclub), would it wierd to stand up, walk over and ask if could sit there? What about while walking on the street? Would be weird to stop someone dead in their tracks and start a conversation. How about if I'm sat with my guy friends and I notice a cute women in the corner of the room? As the guy who's known for "not pulling", how do you overcome the embarrassment of walking over while your friends wat…

That is true. Logically speaking, I know I'm an okay looking guy who women occasionally flirt with. However, I'm struggling to understand how in a full of people, they wouldn't go for better looking men.
/r/seduction10/02/26 10:04 PM

That's very true. What would you recommend? I know that confidence doesn't magically grow for no reason, but I'm not sure where to start.

Thank you for the comment. Clearly, I'm very much a beginner, so I have to ask. Let's say I'm sat in a coffee shop on my own, which I typically do on days off and weekends. I see a women who I find attractive, most likely wearing earphones. How should I proceed? Do I ask if I can sit? Do I literally ask if she's open to talking?

Thank you for the comment. If you only knew… most of those “better-looking guys” are actually terrible at flirting — seriously, to the point of being straight-up unpleasant. So it’s not something you should even worry about. I know this because girls I go out with show me the messages they get, and my god… I have a very handsome friend like this, he's basically the "model" in our small town, I've seen his messages and it's appalling, but he still seals the deal so who am I to judge? And yeah, ap…

Thank you for the comment. Moving my entire life at once is probably too big of a jump, a good starting point would be spending a few weeks vacation in a large city. I'm from the UK, so London is the obvious choice. Also, I've always wanted to go anyway.

Thank you for the comment bro. Don't get me wrong, I can still talk to women in a group setting, such as when I'm sat with friends having a good time. Or when a conversation naturally presents itself. However, the thought of walking upto a women in a random ass fashion in the middle of the street makes it seem like I'm a used car salesmen, or a homeless guy begging for money. I guess the same logic applies in a nightclub, but not the same extent. I've heard people say it works, but in my persona…

Fair enough, that makes a lot of sense and I'm not at all arguing. However, my hobbies include pool, darts, video games and other male orientated stuff. No offence as I know you're trying to help, but how exactly are you going to meet someone with those hobbies? Not sure what it's like on large cities with countless people, but in my areas, only men like to meet up for pool and darts specifically.

Thank you for the comment, I really apprichate the help. I've walked by girls before out in public and just blurted out "that's such a great dress wow" and moved on with my day. Girls will show interest and chase YOU if the vibes are right, so don't worry about being PERFECT because the more you worry the more she senses your worry, and then you're coming off all wrong, creepy, disjointed, unclear. Althought I do agree with your point about giving similar compliments to men (I do it often), I'm …

I (27m) have only had sex twice due to being nervous speaking to women. Luckily, both women made the moves, otherwise nothing would have happened
/r/seduction12/08/25 01:48 PM
7

That's a very good point. But to be honest, I (27m) hear my friends talk about the hot women in my area, and then I look them up on Instagram for a quick look at their profile. Basically, "Mark" is the talk of the town and women notice, being decent looking (he's probably better look than OP thinks) will definitely help aswell. So yeah, social status is what he's doing.
/r/seduction04/08/25 02:43 PM
1

As a younger man, I (27m) used to have this mindset. Looking back, it was foolish because people obviously want to have sex with attractive/hot people. However, I do agree that some women take the piss when they say "I'm in my hot girl era" or some shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 12:42 PM

I (27m) have two friends who have been flirty since our teens, therefore nobody bats an eyelid when they hook up, it's just another weekend. However, if I suddenly did a 180 and started hitting on women, people would find it jarring. In a way, it would be like a guy packing on serious muscle in a short amount of time, as opposed to many years.

I've sexted with a women from Reddit once, about a month ago. I've okay looking and she was not (self proclaimed big girl). I was only interested in talking about hobbies and shit, but she made things aggressively sexual. As a guy with little experience, I enjoyed getting out of my comfort zone.

When you don't actually need it. (Sorry, I read the title wrong, but still not removing my comment lol) For example, my friend (30m) is the type of guy who's social, funny, charismatic and confident. If anything, he's a complete sex pest who often gets himself in fights due to not caring about boyfriends, but that's a story for another day. Myself (27m) on the other hand am social, funny, sometimes confident but definitely not charismatic, but equally as physically attractive. On top of all of t…

Me and my friends were 13 and we went to our first "party". My mom dropped me off at his house and my friends all ripped me to shreds, before helping me out. Good people.

The whole list is great, but I have a question about number 1. What happens if you suck as small talk? Because I can't rely on her to make 90% of the conversation. Or can I? I really don't know.
