"Stats"

5'8 and 130lbs (173cm and 59kg). Never officially checked, but I estimate around 17-18% body fat, based on what I've seen.

Pasty white guy from the UK, with freckles, brown hair and ginger facial hair (if it gets too long). My style, grooming, hygiene etc are all normal and nothing you'd think twice about.

It's worth noting that my confidence isn't great, which let's be honest, it's exactly why I suck at it.

However, I've been thinking recently about the men around me.

The way my dad met my mom is because she was his best friends sister. The way my friend met his long term girlfriend is because she was his friends cousin. The way my other friend met his long term girlfriend was because only two of them worked behind a bar together for around a year.

All three of these example were technically "warm approach", not "cold approach". Even with my other friends, it was social circle first, not randomly chatting someone up on the street or a bar.

I've watched some examples on YouTube aswell as seeing them myself in person, and I can truly say that the only men who have any luck with cold approach, are tall, handsome and stand out above everyone else. These men could easily have women approach them first, unlike us normal looking guys.

So yeah, is cold approach worth it as a normal looking guy, especially if it's your only option?

I've tried meeting women though social circle, but my friends are unfortunaly in the same position as myself, meaning that we currently don't have any women in my social circle. It also doesn't help that I only work with other guys Monday-Friday.

Overall, I'm very stuck on what to do next and would really appreciate some help.

Thank you.
