I know dating apps are more prevalent than ever, however I (28m) still want to believe that most people meet face-to-face.

Dating apps aren't currently working for me because I'm average looking, that's just how they work unfortunately. Therefore, my only option is to meet more people and form connections.

I have plenty of male friends but have no women in my social circle. I work construction with only men and typically spent my weekday evenings playing pool and darts with only other men. It's definitely better than sitting on playstation, but pool and darts are mostly male orientated for some reason.

On weekends, I occasionally go to pubs and nightclubs with friends, but always lose out to more handsome men, which only makes sense.

I'm from a very small town and have pretty much tired everything I can.
