If that's your thought process, you're not there yet since you don't have an abundance mentality.

I agree with that completely. I could write an entire field report on that as well. I have an inept manager at one of the locations who is supposed to be a leader, but nobody wants to follow him. Nobody respects him at all because while yes, in the workplace hierarchy he ranks higher, he definitely is not a leader. You definitely can't just "Call dibs" on being a leader. You need to earn it. You need to command it.

Wow, everyone is apparently terrified. I'd say go for it, but it's got to be on point. No anger in there, just facts. I'm on mobile right now, but when I get home from work I'll see if I can send you a couple links/info.

An infant being a genius psychopath? Believable. An infant being a genius and a bit flamboyant? Outrageous! I agree that they over developed his gay tendencies, but don't try and bring some "logic" into this.

You can talk about it if you want, but it's more important to demonstrate it through action. My girlfriend knows of this sub and "despises it", yet is absolutely enamored by me. So, it's all about how you get the message across.

No worries on the English, man. I can barely put a sentence together in any other language. Yeah, when a girl says you're "ruining everything we have" it really means "now I won't be able to get everything for free like I used to, and I'm pissed about it". I would suggest for next time if you've already flooded the market with "you" severely dial it back and then go for it. Essentially if you've given her a taste, pull it away before she gets a free meal. But in general, let them window shop and…

She took because you gave it away for free. I understand your fustration because logically it should be am equal exchange. You're dealing with women though. If someone offers services for free that you would otherwise have to pay for in some way, why wouldn't you take advantage of that? It goes back to men are the gate keepers of commitment and women are the gate keepers of sex. You gave her all the commitment without her having to give anything sexual. You talked yourself up in your post, but d…

You are taking this way too seriously. It's meant to have fun with. If you don't want to, doesn't matter to me.

A water doesn't have the same connotation as a Shirley temple. I feel the latter is a bit more ridiculous, especially for a guy to be drinking. If you're asked what you're drinking, and you answer "a shirley temple" vs "a water" I think there's a bit of a difference.

I wouldnt say I'm a straight-edge, just sober now. Drinking and me either got along too well, or horribly depending on how you look at it

So much hate for watching sports in this thread and I don't get it. Last night went out to a bar to watch the game (bears fan hehe) with a couple of guy friends. Had a great time, picked up women, scored them free drinks (i dont drink). Wouldn't consider it weak at all. It's all about your mindset going into it....

Yeah, I don't know why it's so easy to get hung up on that. I'll try and remember next time that people find it difficult to understand in the context of work and leave that part out of it. It was just the first example that came to mind when I was writing this, seemed so easy and straightforward so I went with it. Will probably not do that again.

It is hamstering, but clearly you've gotten distracted by irrelevant nuances that's OK though, it happens.

The hamstering wasn't in the grabbing of her ass, it was in her defense of me grabbing her ass. Also, I have slept with her since my last thread so I'm not sure where you're going with that. It wasn't useful or relevant to the post hence why I had no reason to include it though. What sexual harrastment charges and who said I was all excited about it, it was just a useful example to illustrate a point, which brings me back to losing sight of the forest through the trees as that is exactly what se…

Hamstering is part of attraction....that's obvious. That's a large part of the psychology behind AF/BB. The hamstering wasn't in the grabbing of her ass, it was in the defense of me grabbing her ass. See my other comment to the other poster as what you guys are saying are very similar.

As many people have said in previous threads of mine, what I'm doing can mostly be considered wildly inappropriate. Her attraction to me is what feeds that hamster and makes it ok. Yes I have her consent, but it was through her own hamstering/rationalizations that I have that consent. That is the point. Most people focus on the negative aspect of hamstering, like you did there, when there's also such a beneficial and positive side to it. You've effectively demonstrate d what I was saying there..…

I find this amusing, every time I make a post that includes an example about work there's always a percentage of people that focus on that and not the message at hand. Repeating the same things when that's not even the point of the post. Don't lose sight of the forest through the trees. Some people i guess need to swallow the pill a bit more.

It's quite a possibility that my mother wanted me there. But it wasn't just about her and me. It was also about the fact that someone close to the planning and organization of the whole thing (step sister/now brother in law/my step father/ my brother in laws parents) did not what me at the wedding so I had no reason to waste my time at the reception. Plus, I had plans already before I was informed of any of this. So it's one thing to ask for me to go, it's another to think I can just be called u…

I had already been previously involved in other family events since getting sober and upon self-improvement. So it wasn't to "re-introduce" me to family events. And at that point I had been sober for 11 months and change. If they are all so interested in how I'm doing and whatnot, they have my number, they know how to get a hold of me yet no one does. I don't have an issue with that though. In fact, they are allowed to hold whatever opinions of me they want for the things I did while I was drink…

Another important part is boundaries. Set boundaries and HOLD. You're going to want to cave, you've been doing it most of your life so that's what you're used to. It's like when you're on that last rep of your last set, you can't just drop the bar and you can't just drop your boundaries. Push through it just a little longer and trust me, it feels fantastic. Whenever I hold my boundaries firm, with anyone, you feel like a goddamn champ. Something this small makes a difference, eventually, you com…

It happens man. Do things not because you feel you are obliged to, but because you want to. What sold me wasn't just the fact I wasn't invited to the wedding, but it was also because they just assumed I'd drop everything to prance around with them like a dog and pony show due to a pity invite. I need no one's pitty. I'll show people respect, but if they don't respect me then I don't waste my time on them, even family.

For the record, I have a LinkedIn profile, I've worked in the corporate world before, no 401k though (was about 18-19 and had no idea about that stuff). I've slept with a "higher up" (she wasn't directly my boss, but she was technically a superior). If there's a difference I really haven't seen it. Sure, you have to be a little bit more tactical but at the end of the day it's the same shit, different place.

I definitely agree there. If a beta "fucks up" it's no big deal he fucks up all the time in their eyes so that's nothing new. If I fuck up and lose frame, I'll go down hard because people will prey on that weakness. I've seen it happen a little. I've never completely lost frame but I got shaken up and knocked out of wack a little after some shit that happened one day. And I could instantly feel the air change temperatures the rest of the day. Of course, I played it off the following day and will…

I agree on all your points. But because we understand how they operate we can use that to our benefit. For instance, because they don't have a moral compass and do what benefits them, I make sure what I do/say benefits them (only if it benefits me too). For instance, when I'm playful with them they enjoy the attention I give them. In fact, quite a few look for it and I give it out sparingly. Which is why I flirt with customers right in front of them and never focus too much on one so that they c…

It's interesting really, I've gotten more shit from other guys than any of the girls. I can think of multiple occasions when some of the guys tried challenging my frame, but not any major shit tests from the girls. I mean, i know there's been small ones from the girls. But for instance, I had a guy talked to me about a joke I cracked to a female coworker. He was all pissy and shit, and she just defended me.

Update: So she texted me about an hour and a half before asking if we're on still and told her of course. We shot a few texts back and forth and in the process I managed to fail the shit test. The way in which I failed it I believe is what pissed her off. So she made an excuse about how she wasn't feeling well (when she was fine and ready for tonight 20 mins before) so I knew it was bullshit. Honestly I wouldn't consider myself naturally good looking. I've started working out a lot more and I think that's helped me just exude confidence and be a bit more care free. Plus, I'm very conscious how I dress. Though for the most recent girl at work, that has to be a fluke. I'm in a work shirt and hat but I also I believe am very approachable, or at least try to be. Slippery slope is defined as:an idea or course of action which will lead to something unacceptable, wrong, or disastrous That's exactly what you did. Saying I'm sorry doesn't do fuck all. Manners? If you feel bad about what you did fix it,that's how you show them instead of tell them. If you just say your sorry and that's it you look like a douche.

I discriminate against people with tattoos and I'm not the only one. Cops treat tattoos as a justification to give someone a hard time. Judges and juries see tattoos and assume the person is guilty. Good thing I don't do anything illegal. Even with my dealing with cops earlier in my life (when I was up to certain no good) I was never hassled. I would never seriously date a woman with tattoos. I would never hire a person with tattoos or rent my place out to someone with tattoos. I'm neither a wom…

Smart people don't get stupid tattoos I agree that's why I didn't get any stupid ones. When I wear a suit you can't seem them because they're not on my hands/neck/ or face. Doesn't mean I'm hiding them. I have tattoos (7 currently, will get more soon) and will have no problem getting a job in "mainstream society" once I graduate. Hell, we could meet and you could have no idea I even have any. And alpha humans rarely get tattoos, they can't if they are supposed to be in mainstream society. They rarely get pierced, because conservative parental influence doesn't like it, due to similar reasons. Yet in TRP we constantly point out the wrongness and irrationality of certain opinions (look at all the blue pill examples, the red pill theory, etc.). Also, where did you get that straw man? I never said that I thought he was suggesting outlawing it, or even harassing people. All I talked about was it being more of a reflection of self rather than the thing people hate. For example, the cock-carasel riding super feminist or the closeted homosexual gay basher.

When people irrationally hate on something that doesn't affect them, it is usually an obvious insight to their own insecurity.

don't see why people hate on tattoos so much in here. If you don't like them, don't get them. But for the people who say "oh it makes it easier to see the douchebags" and whatnot, you're right, anyone who judges someone that quickly without any knowledge of another person is a douche I wouldn't waste my time on (unless they're tribal tattoos and it's a white dude, then it's ok to judge).

Very nice man. Sometimes its fun just to help a dude out, especially when you know you've already got some. What club was this? I'm right by there myself.

To be honest I'm with you on some of that AA stuff. I try and look at it from a scientific point of view and see AA as a different form of cognitive behavioral therapy. Its dressed up as being all spiritual-y but its really just psychology to me. Also, yeah I don't talk about it unless its pertinent to the discussion. I definitely don't walk around introducing myself like "Hi I'm Dysentery_Gary and I'm an alcoholic", just like people here generally don't go around introducing themselves as RPers.…

Offence is never given, only taken. So no worries, I didn't take offence. And in that situation it showed me why people need to be led. I chimed in my two cents about the situations at hand, but again, in a group where no one is allowed to govern there was only so much I can do. It more or less painted a picture of what a society without people leading looks like, and trust me, it wasn't a good one. I should edit some of this in, you're right it was a bit incomplete.

I understand where you're coming from on this. I think most of us have been there before. The simple thing that helped me was moving from a small college town (which of course had its fun) to one of the biggest cities in the US. There are beautiful women everywhere here, why stay hung up on just one?

If you're worried about finding another high quality girl then you haven't swallowed the pill yet. There are literally billions of women in this world, there will always be one more feminine, more submissive, more attractive, more...whatever.

While I don't disagree with the jab,that's where it's from...surprisingly.

Being perceived as superior and being actually superior are two different things. For some perception is reality, but for those who have swallowed the red pill we know perception can be manipulated. It can be controlled. And it can be changed. You're right with the not putting people down and the accomplishing more goals than your competition but in the grand scheme of things we are nothing more than a sand particle on a beach. One of billions. But for me, that doesn't mean I won't try my damndes…

Of course. I don't just sit around all day not trying to better myself. By increasing your True SMV,you can more easily increase your Perceived SMV. And I work to improve my True SMV because I want to better myself, for me really, the Perceived SMV increase is just a benefit.

Exactly my point. Why be intimidated by the inevitable and unavoidable truths? For instance, we're all going to die some day does that mean we should just cower in fear in our homes? Fuck that. Do something with your life. Also, thank you. Guess this is what happens to me when I combine no sleep and energy drinks.

Yeah, that way of building confidence is continually fleeting. You need to build confidence using yourself, not others, which you seem to be starting. And it seems that since they are used to you being "emotional/whiny/bitchy" they will take a little time to get used to you being more alpha. You're changing, they either respect it or not. Either way, your focus should be on bettering yourself if they're your friends and respect your efforts they'll be along for the ride.

Well here's how I see it. (Going with the matrix analogy RP has) /rTheRedPill is like the dojo where Morpheus trains Neo. It allows people to get an idea, to get an understanding of the real world by pulling back the veil that has been over their eyes. Here is where they learn some rules are meant to be bent, others broken. Like I said, it's a starting point for some....nothing wrong with that.

You're trying to not be seen as an asshole, which means you care what others think of you. To an extent it means you feel validated by these people, which isn't being an Alpha. I'm not saying be an asshole to everyone, but be confident in yourself. That's the component that seems to be lacking. You control your own life, no one else. At the end of the day when you lay your head to rest there is no one but yourself in your head. Are you happy with how things went that day/week/month/whatever? No?…

Multiple things I see here. First these are not rules. They are empirical observations, statistics, facts, theories and discussion thereof. You can do what you please with them, but just because you ignore the elephant in the room, doesn't mean there's not an elephant in the room. Speaking of elephant in the room, "she makes me an overall better person." Danger Will Robinson! Danger! That's a sign of needing external validation. You should want to be the best version of yourself, for yourself, a…

So, somehow without knowing anything about me or my tattoos you're able to easily make the deduction that I'm the exact same as those with anarchy tattoos? C'mon on now, I thought we were men here. We're supposed to be the logical ones. Actually they did produce them. If I didn't have my moments of willpower then there wouldn't be reasons behind getting them. They are representations of that willpower. My option was to not get the tattoo in the first place. Why would I have these removed anyway?…

I'm not sure the word shallow means what you think it means. Because I stand by something strong enough to put it on my body permanently, I'm shallow? I have to thoroughly disagree. You talk about testaments to effort and willpower, well, many of my tattoos are reflection of my life and different points of my life, so they are a testament to my willpower and effort. Quite honestly, you're allowed to have your opinions about tattoos. Like I said, I don't care if people like mine or don't like, no…

I personally have 7 tattoos. I will be finishing up my sleeve in about 6 months time. They all mean something to me,they're not "on a whim" tattoos. Here's the thing though, dont be one of those guys that's all "look at me I have tattoos,I must be edgy and cool". That's the biggest wrong thing you can do. I don't really think about my tattoos and I don't "show them off". My ink is for me, if you like them, cool. If you don't,cool. It really doesn't matter to me. And that's basically my view with …
