I don’t even like #4. Your husband/life partner should not be separate from YOUR finances. He should complement them. He is not to complete it but his financial standing is vital to yours. Marriage is the most expensive decision of your life.

LMAO no. There is no "used to be a fuckboy". A HVM has never had or has LONG LONG LONG passed that stage in his life before meeting a HVW. And a HVW would next him AS SOON AS she gets a whiff of any fuckboyage.

1) I really like my life as it is. I'm also settled in, and less amenable to change (in my early 30s). Someone has to be a good match/complement to be integrated in. 2) I'm picky -- because I'm happy with my life and the quality I've maintained/demanded for myself, someone has to be exceptional to impress me. This also applies to everything else in my life -- nice sheets, food, job, film/music, clothes, etc. I won't settle for less. I know what I like and demand and expect the best. I love getti…

Props to you for walking out mid-date. I still haven’t been able to do that! And mad respect for you to prioritize yourself and validate your own pain from a breakup. It’s ok girl, there’s nothing wrong with recovering at your own pace. You’re doing good, keep at it.

Since I've started dating again (Nov. 2019), I started a spreadsheet to keep track of the dates, red flags, green flags, and hours. This was eye-opening. I've realized I haven't been dating that many people. A handful of first dates, but even more second dates with the same people, BUT no one has gone past the tipping point 2-3 date mark. I'm also, frankly, tired and feeling burn out. Earlier this year my life had the bandwidth to manage dates (i.e. handle the high possibility of consistent disa…

If I sounded judge-y, that wasn't my intention. We all get into situations with less than great people, even probably just out of curiosity. Hell, I've given my number to obvious hard-passes just to see what cards they'd pull on out me lol. Sending flowers multiple times? Wowza I think a lot of us would have been moved by that, at least a teensy bit. Good for you for holding your ground.

He couldn’t get hard and acted like “this is the reason why I don’t have sex until I’m in love“. I asked him how many times a day he jerks off. -Record scratch- He immediately straightened out his facial expression from pretending like he was about to cry because he knew that I knew. I told him to get dressed and leave, and to google what it means to be “pornsick”. He left without a word. Later he sent me a long rambling text about how ashamed he is because I saw through him and it had him “ratt…

My last boyfriend who was with me for 4 years also said he was intrigued by my "enigma", "mystery", etc. LOL why do men think (and love when) we're being ~mysterious ~ when in actuality we're just not desperate or hella interested.

I agree with this. Men typically don't have as much stuff as women do, so it's easier for them to be organized/tidy (i.e. less to manage). Men tend to be less cluttered, but has anyone noticed how much dirtier men are? Like their bathrooms have more clear counter space but there is hair/dust/grime everywhere, etc. I'm the opposite -- I'm messy because there's just a lot going on my place (too many art pieces, books and skincare, ADHD, busy schedule, eat all my meals at work, etc) but I SURE AS H…

"6 foot 2 if it matters...", "6 foot 5 in heels," "6'1" apparently this matters on here!!!" -- "I'm aware looks matter and I have to flex on this because it's probably one of my more redeeming traits that I had no work in doing." "5'11" -- "I'm rounding up." Guys round up generously esp. if they're at or below the 6' benchmark, and I always subtract a 1-1.5 inches to control for that. and if he doesn't list his height, he's on the shorter side and omitting this on purpose knowing it's a turnoff …

A male coworker confirmed this to me literally yesterday. Men KNOW it's not palatable to say they're conservative or moderate and think it's better to be apolitical or apathetic LMAO. LVM logic. Bumble now has a "I'm a Voter" / "Not voting this time" badge. Seeing the latter is an auto-left swipe. Love bumper stickers like that to save my time.

"I'm a feminist." -- "I have to declare it explicitly because otherwise the default is women don't deserve equality," OR, "I'm only a feminist when it benefits me (i.e. pay for yourself woman)" It's like explicitly declaring yourself as "not racist" -- why would you have to say that?

Tinder "works" just as well as the rest, IMO. At the end of the day, it's just a tool like the rest (CMB/Bumble/Hinge) to help you pool the candidates but the ruthless filtering is where the work is, regardless of the app.

He has brought up stupid shit that redpill/Mgtow followers talk about , like divorce , hypergamy, etc. he never says it hatefully so I just let it slide. But I can’t shake the feeling ; even his YouTube history was mgtow shit. So you know this is bad. And to your question, Should I break up with him? YES. If you're here asking about it, then you already know. Block, delete, next.

I met all these guys on Bumble...#4 is actually from TINDER (he was my last Tinder date before I deleted the app). I will say what makes #4 stand out is that he is a classic east coast preppy yuppie type -- well-educated, comes from a good family, liberal, socially-aware but traditional in the right ways.

Is physical appearance a major part of your sexual attraction towards him? A HVM knows when he's let himself go, and will try to work on it, ESPECIALLY if his woman is turned off by it. This is why I've de-prioritized physical appearance -- it's a GUARANTEED depreciating asset that I'm not making bets on. Generosity, kindness, wisdom turn me on more now.

Guy #1 I met on Bumble proposed a lunch date on Valentine's Day because we both work in the same area. He proposes sitting on the steps of some gym and to "bring our own lunches." OK maybe if this was Paris and it was the park by the Eiffel Tower or the nice parts of the Seine and he packed a picnic but NO -- this is a grimy ass city stoop by the GYM, and he wanted me to brown bag it LMAO DEAD. Loves EDM (like enough to list it on social media/dating profiles) and ragers. In that vein, he also... Has shirtless festival pics, club pics, pics of him with a girl in a bikini, gym pics, or pics of him from his prime (aka college) when he's been out of college for 2+ years. Has more than 1 selfie on his dating profile/social media. Exactly. No profession is immune. If anything, residents are the unhealthiest breed of professionals I've met -- no time to eat, sleep, pee/poop at their own volition. Impoverished, and making less than minimum wage if you break it by the hour. Not to their blame though. Their schedules prevent them from having basic human/working rights. They're also mostly broke until their late 30s. By then they're entitled. They've mastered patient communication (literally trained to make you feel "safe", tr…

Don't be so hard on yourself on your "panic." I think your shock was normal and many (if not most) of us would have reacted the same in flight/fight/freeze response. Glad you've recovered a bit (nothing a good night's sleep can't improve!). Be kind to yourself today. What do you think you would have done differently? Not to make you dwell on this too much, but I am curious as I think a lot of us have been in your shoes (receiving shocking news and feeling heartbroken at impact).

Why do you want a physically attractive guy? Probably to feel a certain way -- maybe aroused, excited, sexy, high-value, and desired? Can you imagine feeling that way at all perhaps by yourself, independently without relying on someone? And then pushing it further, can you imagine feeling that way with a man, without imagining his appearance? Think about how you'd like the guy to make you feel over the nitty gritty details. If he still HAS to fit your physical template, and there is no other way…

OK I've dated a lot of guys in finance/law and they have shoes for everything -- work, client meetings, golf, squash, sailing/yachts/boating, etc -- and expensive ones because they're in a materialistic/status-obsessed climate that notices these things. And they're just more vain/narcissistic than the average, STILL LV. Look at his patterns towards you, not his shoes.

This is why I don't date doctors anymore. Most of the single ones (mostly residents who work 90+ hours/week) are too busy to have sex (the courting, the communication, the date, the foreplay -- it takes time they don't have regularly). All of the ones I've dated have had death grip. It was incredibly disappointing.

How did it even get to this place? When did physical appearance become a talking point? When is body critiquing ever appropriate? Is this with your LVM friend or something, someone you're semi-close to, whom you've asked for feedback from? Don't listen to feedback from LVM, who cares what they think. Block, delete, next.

Not sure about Kaepernick. But Beyonce really handled the cheating well. As in, she capitalized as much as she could while humiliating him. Lemonade was the No. 1 Billboard record that year, which makes her $3M EACH DAY. When life gives you lemons, make $500 million dollars lol EDIT: sorry I read thru that too fast. Times were different back then. Especially financially. Women didn't have high power careers. It wasn't normalized to be working in your 30s-40s. Birth control wasn't as prevalent. Egg freezing and IVF nonexistent. Hell, the US still doesn't have federal maternity leave. So my questions here are how can I find a high-quality FWB? You can't. So would it be better not to pick this man? Correct, don't pick this man. Should I look elsewhere, or just stay celibate? Stay celibate and focus on yourself. Don't get distracted by any D and do it manually if you have to.

Side note, good god, LOOK AT HIS PLACE, that background! It looks like he's in his elderly aunt's place just to use her WiFi. It looks like the scene of someone's home/prison in My 600 Pound Life. Men weaponize sex. They use it to control women. Think about it -- whether it's shaming them for spaghetti straps or using it to emotionally hook them, they use it for their own advantage and own void. NOT love. Women need to ration it because it's the most important thing in the world to them. "Everything is about sex except sex. Sex is about power."

Anfisa became a Pickmeisha -- once Jorge was in jail, she started a YT channel as a hobby because she was lonely, and pines over the broke fat pothead. YES. As soon as a guy starts bringing up money and price, I'm turned off. Only broke people do that. Plus for rich people, it's taboo and rude to small talk about money/price/costs. Video game addiction is now officially recognized by the World Health Organization and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) -- yes, doctors can BILL for this disease. This is as dire and serious as other addictions -- drugs, alcohol, sex, hoarding, risky behaviors, you name it. Stay FAR away, there is NOTHING you or any other external force (i.e. a child) can do to change this. Even if he's a "functioning" gamer, it's a slope too slippery for me to gamble.
