I will man, I’ll fight as long as it take to get 50/50. Anything less than that could be damaging to the kids relationship with me

No not really, she wants me to have every Thursday and then every other week I also get Friday, Saturday Sunday and we continue to work around each others schedules as we have been while separated. She says I can always get more time with them when I ask for it, but I shouldn’t have to ask for more time with my kids. She refuses to do any type of equal schedule like week too week or 3-3-4-4. But at least all this has given me new evidence to present showing that she is refusing to co-parent.

Yeah we talked for the past 2 days trying to work something out but she refuses to do any type of 50/50 schedule with the kids. It’s clear to me this is about control and money for her, but at least I have a bunch of new evidence to bring in

Jiu jitsu, firearms training. This will put you in the company of people who are good people but capable of great violence. Start training and get yourself a tribe

I hear ya, unfortunately too add to that I’m a first responder which not only increases rates of divorce but drastically increases suicide. However I won’t let myself do that, not to my children. Today I don’t feel sadness, just hate and anger. I’m a regular at the gym already. I’ll consider speaking with our department therapist.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. This was my life for the past 4 years, no return of affection or anything, so I gave up. We’ve been separated for like a week now. I didn’t think it would feel like this, I thought I’d feel a since the freedom, but I feel dead inside. I know this will take time to find myself again, but it’ll happen. I just feel this sense of guilt over choosing my happiness over my kids have a complete family unit at home. Sounds like you’re handling this better than me.

I’ve never dealt with anxiety before but I know the techniques

That’s what I think is the hardest part. I don’t have a physical support system here. I’m in this alone

Her job is a 9-5 with one day from home, if she keeps the house then she’ll be closer to their school than me. She going to get custodial for sure. I just can’t win

Update. Spoke with an attorney and it doesn’t seem to be an option for true 50/50. One parent ends up being custodial and there is visiting. After hearing that I broke. Got drunk and caused a lot of friends and family to worry, may have ruined a relationship I cherish. I’m spiraling. I should have just stayed with her and been miserable for the next 30 years. Now I’m it’s looking like not only am I going barely see my kids, I’m going to end up paying child support All because I was unhappy

Just spoke with an attorney, apparently it’s going to come down to legislation on who is “primary custodian. There’s no 50/50 in Texas apparently. With my schedule vs hers they’re going to choice her and I’m going to end up on visitation and child support. I don’t know how to continue. I cant live with out my kids. I cannot be miserable for the next 30 years with her

I just talked with a lawyer, she’s going to win. She doing to take the kids from me because of our schedule, the court is going to side in favor and I’m going to end up barely seeing the kids and paying child support regardless of the fact that she makes double more than me. I can’t do this l, I can’t lose my kids

I know, I just didn’t plan on it getting this low. I definitely think she’s wanting this as a way of staying in control and just as retaliation.

I’m going through it too, just at a different stage. One rule, we’re not allowed to quit.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
