I had a guy invite me to the beach and I turned up in jeans and a sweater. He was so pissed! Of course it was fall and a beach that notoriously had a cold wind always blowing. I was perfectly comfortable and he got nothing from me.

I want to say that your consent to anything can be revoked at any time for any reason. You only just learned he lied so that changes everything.

A number of them were banned in mid-2020. The rest were taken over by men as you have seen. The site runs on misogyny and censorship so it would be next to impossible to change it. Not that I’m trying to discourage you, I’ll support any efforts you make. Just know what you might be in for.

Family of origin has a huge, massive influence on every child in the world. I don’t see how it wouldn’t significantly influence character too. You‘ve made great points in your post.

I’m not sorry Epstein’s gone but I really wish he’d been in prison for a lot longer. He got off easy. At least she’s paying for it.

Honestly I almost didn’t post my comment, and I was half-expecting it to get deleted. There’s SO much exceptionalism for male relatives—especially fathers—even on FDS. It’s so hard to see it here among women who can otherwise identify men as trash. He’s not a good guy just because he’s related to you! Some fathers actually want adulation from their daughters, so you have to be just as wary of the masks they put on as you would with any other LVM.

I believe LVM can change, but the key is that they have to want to. And they will never want to, because they benefit way too much from their behaviour. I don’t see it as being any different from trying to overcome an addiction. They have to want to do it for themselves, not because someone really wants them to. I think the huge problem is that women are expected to make them change. Women get blamed for men’s bad behaviour so often that why wouldn’t we believe we can make a difference? That who…

So much wrong with it, but I can’t get past him publicly fake-proposing to her just to one-up his brother. No consideration for her feelings as she tries to stop him, no repercussions for him when this huge lie comes out. It’s only her fault of course. He’s also meant to be 30 years old. He acts like a 12 year old at every turn.

I once saw a guy say in his profile that he expected any woman who responded to him must wear lingerie from a specific (big chain) store, not another (local) store which he called ‘crap’. Extra hilarious because the big chain (you all know which one) is known for being low quality and the local store is much better. He might as well just have written this is what I jerk off to and you must look exactly like these models I will never get so I can keep playing pretend!

That’s disturbing that it‘s so common in movies. I mostly think about it in relation to real life, where the ‘crazy ex’ is always female, ‘irrational woman’ is a common phrase, I even worked with a misogynist who would say ‘flighty female’. And now Mick is so off the rails I find it hard to watch her. Ben’s unrealistically basically ’perfect’. Not even that upset that the baby might not be his, when he’s so into his perfect family?! Right. He’s too much, so not like the irrational men we experie…

See it looks to me that he’s spent more effort in helping Saanvi than Mick, though not much on her either. I just watched E3 and realized what’s also been bothering me. All of the female passengers are deteriorating mentally but Ben isn’t. He’s being positioned as the strong stable man, nothing phases him. Adrian the grifter has no issues. Even Cal the very young boy barely acts out over his 2024 discovery, which should be devastating to him. But Mick’s turning completely irrational and Saanvi’s…

I’m just starting Season 2 as well. I can’t see him as HV given the way he treats his sister. He has the nerve to tell her how to do her job, tries to control her and he doesn’t even attempt to help her with how out of control she’s getting with her obsession with Zeke. I was really into this show at first but it’s becoming a hate-watch for me now.

Don’t be angry at yourself, this isn’t your fault. It’s easy to give these guys the benefit of the doubt, it’s what we’re trained to do for men. Your instincts are excellent. You grabbed your pets and kept them and yourself safe. Consider getting a security bar, and also a travel door alarm. I have one that loops over any door knob and it’s small but loud.

I stayed friends with an ex after we broke up. It worked for a long time until we had a falling out. He then wrote me a lengthy letter which included him telling me that he’d stay friends with me if I never got angry at him ever again! I was already done with him by that point, but it was still shocking to see his controlling mindset & absolute entitlement written straight out like that.

This is a great situation because you can end the call whenever they bring up marriage. And you’re reading a lot into this post that isn’t there. She’s flat out asking about how to shield the guy‘s feelings, not how to protect her daughter. After the 5th time this happened, not the first. You bending over backwards to defend this woman based on your own assumptions reads as desperate and naive to me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/04/21 06:40 PM
7

That day has existed for a long time. She doesn’t indicate that he’s abusing her, only neglecting her child. Many women stay employed after having kids so the means are there. Some violent abusers murder women when they try to leave and lots don’t. You talk as if it’s 100% impossible for all women to leave their husbands and that’s simply untrue. Divorce exists and it’s not uncommon.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/04/21 07:06 PM
13

Lots of culpability. Enablers are as bad as abusers.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/04/21 07:02 PM
15

Yeah because abusive men always want to spend so much time with their kids. Maybe you‘re not familair with child abusers, but the opposite is true. This guy was ignoring his child when they were together and that’s why she fell. The mother’s concern is his feelings which is ridiculous. A lot more women can leave these situations than you are trying to imply, and they simply don’t. That’s on them.

/r/askFDS30/03/21 10:39 PM

No! Most women can’t come from PIV. Your body is completely normal and you are a perfectly normal woman. The women that come that way are the lucky exception, not the norm.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/03/21 06:41 PM
11

It is important that you don’t want another woman to go through this, but unfortunately it’s not something you can control. Your ex wouldn’t change for you so there’s no chance he’ll change for another woman. The vast majority of men are resistant to therapy and that’s what he needs, so you don’t need to waste your time on him any longer.

Yeah, I saw that he was previously with someone who was emotionally unavailable (no bad treatment indicated). He’s still not dating straight men, so he’s got no business telling “gorls” to do better as if he has any experience of what we go through. He doesn’t and he never will. It‘s men that need to “do better” in how they treat us. We are not at fault for this as he implies.

Ooh nice thought! We need a lengthy series about this.

I’d like to invest in one too.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/03/21 07:09 PM

Would you want this man as your lawyer?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 07:13 PM
2

Wow, figures.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 06:47 PM

It is true where I live. All or part of pre and post nuptial agreements can be voided and aren’t guaranteed, that’s what I meant, not that they will never be enforced. I wasn’t clear enough. She needs to consult a local lawyer, and to go in knowing that it’s not iron-clad.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 12:48 AM
33

I’ve heard that post nups aren’t enforceable. You should check what your chances of enforcement are with a lawyer. Is it a risk you can take?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/03/21 12:13 AM

More than once I’ve been asked for my number when I’m out for a walk in the evening. Like that’s a random guy who I passed by on the sidewalk, wow yes let’s date. Also when I was sitting outside during a lunch break on a weekday in the middle of downtown, by a guy walking by me. That kind of “approach” must die and they know that’s what we’re talking about.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 11:29 PM
32

What should you do? Recognize that he‘s an ass and leave him in the dust on your way to the clinic.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 06:55 PM
2

Yes this stuck out. The thing they have in common is him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 06:49 PM
11

This was my first thought too. If he’s this desperate for attention, he’s trying to get it from as many women as possible.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 06:47 PM
8

I’d bet a month’s salary that he’s not broke or poor, and that he makes a lot of money. He’s just a total POS who puts himself miles ahead of everyone else. He’ll do it to his kids too if some poor woman lets him reproduce. She’ll be begging for money for food while he goes off and does his luxury hobby.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 06:31 PM
14

Yeah he can claim he regrets it later, but you know he enjoyed it while she was doing it. It’s not like he stopped her.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 03:26 AM
22

If he’s going to walk around with his penis just hanging off the front of his body all exposed and vulnerable like that he’s not just giving permission, he’s asking for it. Women are visual, the temptation is just too much.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 01:53 AM
31

Extra gross because he’s certainly repeating what he’s heard from his father/males surrounding him. He’s going to grow up to be a total POS just like them.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 01:25 AM
55

And bonus, he certainly knows where it is.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/03/21 01:18 AM

He didn’t TELL her that he didn’t want her to do what she did. How could she possibly know he wasn’t okay with it when he didn’t communicate that to her in advance?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 10:04 PM
24

No, it’s a dealbreaker. At his age he should know better and I’m sure he does. He’s being very selfish.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 07:08 PM

10 year age gap too, she needs to leave for many reasons.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 07:03 PM

If this post is actually real, she got pregnant at 16. Future planning isn‘t a strong point with her and I bet he kept her growth as stunted as he possibly could too. So not necessarily lazy so much as ignorant and controlled.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 06:51 PM
4

I’ve seen this too. I met up with an ex a few months after I dumped him to give him his stuff back. He'd gained so much weight and grown a full-on dumbass beard. He was decent looking before but I wouldn’t have looked twice at him the way he ended up.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 06:12 PM

Right? It’s shocking. It’s hard to believe how they go from so hot to so not. Then you have Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock who haven't changed much at all and are still beautiful.

My opinion and that of many, many others. To each her own.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy17/03/21 04:26 AM

Women and society both. It’s shocking that so many girls are still trained from birth to believe that their only purpose is to marry a man and reproduce.

YES this bugs me so much. And every single damn reality show about these professions has men judging women. Fuck that. Not to mention that men almost always win or get high up in competitions even when they are the tiny minority. So frustrating.

Apparently we are supposed to tell every man that we ever breathe next to how to treat us and what not to do, always and for the rest of our lives. Because there’s no other way they’d know what common decency is or that not being a pervert/rapist/murderer is expected. They just don’t know if we don’t tell them!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/03/21 12:04 AM
6

She publicly stated something that’s demonstrably false and pandered to random men at the same time. Her lie was uncalled for and unnecessary as well as harmful. I really don’t know who she is, but this “one thing” she lied about is deeply harmful and an expression of her misguided values. She should be called out for it, it’s not a small thing that she’s done here.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/03/21 11:31 PM

Being childfree too I have never had any interest in marriage. Yes there are tax and social benefits, but the costs and risks outweigh all of that for me.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/03/21 08:20 PM

Both versions turned me off and they weren’t even directed at me! Bad enough for him to say either one but his reaction to you calling him out is ridiculous and disturbing. And disproportionate. Anger over you expressing your very reasonable feelings? BIG NO.

Nothing. I think he’s doing the right thing. He wants more than friendship and you don’t. It wouldn’t be easy or honest of him to be friends with you in this kind of situation.
/r/askFDS12/03/21 01:24 AM
25

Nailed it. It’s disturbing to think that since she likes to defend incels so much, she could eventually end up with one herself.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy12/03/21 01:15 AM

He is showing you his hatred and contempt, not love. It’s not only ‘fair’ that you leave him now, it’s essential. He is grooming you into believing you can never leave him by pretending to have changed. All he has changed is his tactics. If you keep him around, he will get worse in his treatment of you. For your own safety, talk to a women‘s shelter for advice on how to leave this guy safely. He is a danger to you, do not underestimate this. Your life is at risk. Be safe and get out.

He makes coffee once a week. Who does it the other 6 days? He pushes a cart on wheels. Wow! Who chooses the food, looks for sales, keeps a running budget in her head, calculates what is needed for a week’s worth of meals to feed everyone? There’s too much else to address but it all comes back to this guy doing less than the bare minimum. LVM alert.

I’d say 5 years max but ideally 2-3 at most. I’ve been there with the age gap and it can seem fine when you’re in it but it’s really not. I have regrets about it now and I don’t know any woman who’s come out of it who doesn’t feel the same way. There‘s only 6 years between my aunt and her husband and she always said that was too much, and she wouldn’t do it again. Also 5 years max is a lifelong age ceiling to follow, not just for your 30s. You can see what‘s wrong if you think about dating a 20 …
/r/askFDS10/03/21 04:38 AM

Early in the relationship is when he’s supposed to be trying to impress you the most. Ignoring your needs which would be very easy for him to meet is bad and it won’t ever get better. This is the best he’s going to be and certain aspects of his behaviour will only get worse over time once he knows he has you locked down. On top of that, there’s the significant age gap which should be a dealbreaker. To be blunt, being so much younger you’re a great stroke for his ego. It also might not seem like …
/r/askFDS10/03/21 02:08 AM
32

The age gap is bad enough, but he knew her when she was a teenager and he was an adult. I’ve had friends who became teachers and none of them would ever be interested in dating a student or ex-student. As a teacher you're supposed to have a certain role in children’s lives and that is in no way supposed to be sexual. A teen in school is still a child, legally and morally. I wouldn’t buy it if he says they just ran into each other when she was 23. Hard pass on him.
/r/askFDS10/03/21 01:58 AM

Of course they never blame the men that cause these conditions to exist in the first place.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/03/21 01:19 AM

Some but probably a lot fewer. Those who worship boys and men could finally be a small minority and what a world that would be.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/03/21 10:19 PM

Excellent post, you nailed it hard. Unfortunately women who create mama’s boys don’t even always stop with screwing their daughter-in-laws over. My grandmother resented the hell out of us kids because we existed and took attention away from her adult son. She treated us badly even when we were alone with her. I doubt she was a pick me because her generation basically had to get married, but she was terrible all the same.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/03/21 10:17 PM
37

It’s really terrible and they never get called out ‘because mothers get blamed for too much.’ Well in this case they have to take the blame, it is their fault and they are raising NVM so the rest of us suffer for it.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/03/21 04:21 AM

I still don’t understand why women are doing grown men’s laundry. Serious question, why? Did they sneak it into the wedding vows?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/03/21 02:16 AM

I wish there would be more discussion about their true nature. Not everything comes back to socialization, especially when you consider how they treat women no matter their race, culture or country of origin.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/03/21 01:03 AM
26

That would be different how???
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy06/03/21 12:45 AM
47

Agreed. Basic reality & our experience shows that it’s important too. Bathrooms WERE the one place women and girls could also go to escape being harassed by men and boys in the moment, and find another woman to help if possible. Now the entitled pervs can follow right on in and gang up if they want to.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/21 11:24 PM

I’m crossing my fingers for you. I first encountered this back in 2013 in Manhattan. I don’t live there and I thought my city would surely be safe from it. Now here we are. My community centre that I used to love going to for various activities is now a place I cringe about and avoid. It’s awful and super-frustrating.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/21 11:14 PM
122

Any woman who supports these has never had to use one. The first time I did, there was a line to use the stalls. A gross guy in line behind me was trying to hit on me. I was trapped: if I left , I’d lose my place. There was no other bathroom around. Unisex bathrooms and change rooms are anti -women and unsafe in multiple ways. Their existence is misogyny in the extreme.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/21 07:18 PM
53

Yes when possible, but it’s not always. Community centres and libraries have done this in my city, it’s awful because the only choice is to not go, and so limit our community life as women. Which is the real goal of all of this.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/21 07:11 PM
9

Fuck. That.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/21 02:22 AM
4

YES! I hate the pass that gay men are given all the time. Their misogyny and sexual assaults can be worse in so many ways AND they don’t even get called out on it.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/21 02:20 AM
5

I worked with someone whose husband was away for a week, then back for a week, alternating like this for years. He was cheating on her most of the time, because it was just too easy. But even before she found out about the cheating, she wasn’t happy with the schedule. If you want to be with the guy, it’s a lot of time apart. If you don’t, why even keep him around?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/03/21 12:57 AM
10

That was my thought too. As if she’s trying to reassure herself that she’s protected now.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy04/03/21 10:38 PM
10

I wonder if that’s exactly what she does think, especially if she was convinced that she didn’t protest enough when she was assaulted. The idea of the underwear might make her feel safer in a messed up way.

Calling men out for their bad behaviour doesn’t mean you hate them. It’s also perfectly fine if you do. We don’t owe any man affection just because he tries to demand it.
/r/askFDS04/03/21 01:44 AM
6

He’s way too old for you. Drop him. As for calling you a friend, I started doing this with an ex before I broke up with him. I just couldn’t see him as a boyfriend anymore, and it took some time to end it. There’s a reason this old guy‘s doing it with you too. That’s what he sees you as AT BEST. I certainly didn’t see my ex as a friend, he was far less than that, but it was a socially acceptable way to refer to him when I had to.

I think this is what is likely to happen, an increase of violence against real women and girls. The ground is being laid for it already with the current erosion of our basic rights.

I’m not criticizing her. I think most of her advice is great. But it’s all her opinion and she isn‘t an expert or educated at all in sex therapy or relationship counselling, nor has she ever represented herself as such. So she doesn’t belong on a post calling for experts with degrees. All she has are her opinions. Again, nothing wrong with that, but she is in no way credentialed and she shouldn’t be misrepresented as such.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy02/03/21 10:59 PM

It’s a place to start. Once you move into building up more interests, it’ll be easier to motivate yourself in other areas. Then you can progress to self-acceptance, acceptance of others, and from there you will have a lot more chances to make good friends and create the life you want.

You’d do well to start by changing your focus. Reading a book for pleasure is a good start. There’s tons of choices on Amazon, literally millions of books to choose from. Try starting a small fitness routine, there are so many to choose from on YouTube. Learning meditation can do wonders for you, and I say that as someone who was never into it at all. Try mindfulness meditation first. All of these things will help get you out of your own head. From there it will be easier to develop more interes…

This is future-faking. It’s common. One red flag you can look out for next time is talking about marriage and doing what you listed way too soon. It sounds like you were together for 3-4 months. That is way too soon for any of this.

You have some options which is great. There are moving companies that will come in and pack for you too, I haven’t done this but a friend of mine did. It’s a fast way to leave. His lack of furniture is SO not your problem. He’s 43, he can figure it out. If he was 23 it still wouldn’t be your problem. You can leave when your name is on the lease if you are in US. The issue with leaving early is that he could trash the place and you would be jointly financially responsible for it. This isn’t a sma…

I wouldn’t call once a week use an addiction. BUT: when people are doing something they know is wrong/undesirable, they tend to minimize the amount they’re doing it. IE oh yeah it’s not great behaviour but it’s less bad because I don’t do it that much. So I would question if once a week is true. However that doesn’t really matter. I only used addiction as a comparison, not because I think he’s addicted. But because heroin use is bad for many reasons and so is porn. Whether it’s truly once a week…

His feelings are never more valid that yours in any situation, but especially not in this one. Look at it another way: if he was a heroin addict and you wanted him to stop, he’s going to have his feelings about continuing. His feelings in both cases are wrong and you have every right to leave him behind if he doesn’t straighten out.

I didn’t mention or ask about the difference between being a tomboy or a pick me. You keep using the word valid after you said this: “basking in the glow of being Woman of the (Frat) House”—that is being a pick me, not a tomboy. Pick me behaviour for any reason, especially to one‘s own sons, is not valid. Nor was I discussing womanhood or femininity. Simply the lack of validity of being a pick me towards one’s own sons or any man in general. Not valid behaviour, never will be. You were at best n…

I still don’t see what’s valid about identifying with or mimicking low level male behaviour, especially if it’s that of her own sons. Just saying ”it’s valid” again doesn’t explain why you believe it is. Being a pick me is a thing, but it’s not a functional way to behave. I wouldn’t call it valid because it’s ultimately negative, therefore undesirable. Same as behaving like a 12 year old boy when you’re a grown woman.

It’s awful that this situation is occurring today. But there is also a subset of women who have only ever been dependent on grown men. First the father and then directly into the control of a husband. They truly fear independence because they’ve not had it, even for a moment. It’s very disturbing and again sad that it’s still being encouraged in this century.

Yes. I cringe hard when women “brag” about their husbands wanting them to stay at home & remain unemployed. They can‘t even imagine he‘s acting out of his own interest and not in hers.

It’s extra funny because not only do men die first, these women always marry men who are older than they are too. Yeah that age gap‘s really going to work in their favour, whether it’s 3 years or 20!

It’s terrible to grow up with an abusive parent. Enablers are just as abusive however. He could have stopped her but he didn’t and that’s a terrible choice he made to subject you to her abuse. I hope you can see him for what he truly is now and will avoid any man who’s like him, instead of wishing to be with someone so low that he showed no care for his own daughter’s safety.

A woman was murdered and found beside the building I worked in. The guy who “found” her raped her before he reported finding her body, which was well-concealed even though it was right beside the office parking lot which had people coming and going frequently. He was never charged with her murder. The male managers didn’t do anything for the safety of those of us (90% women) who worked the night shift at the time.

I’m curious about why you would want to “separate the personfrom the behavior” A man chooses his behaviour. It shows who he is. Separating it from him doesn’t make sense. Character is shown in how a man decides to behave, it’s a part of who he is and not separate. Treating women badly isn’t a behaviour that exists in a vacuum. It’s a choice made by that man. Can you explain your statement further?

Sure but I am going to ignore it, because this conversation is about husbands and the women who are trapped in marriage with them. Not mothers. I’d include smoking in this list as well. I used to work with a heavy smoker who tried to quit. I was happy for him at first for taking a step to improve his health. He was generally a decent guy but when he quit, he turned awful. Rude, mean, awful to work with and I had to work closely with him twice a week. This went on until he went back to smoking. Would have been fine then except he decided to repeat this pattern every few months. It was terrible because I couldn’t avoid him. On top of that…

I’m sure they do but it’s only appropriate to do it for a child. How are these women not too embarrassed to let the doctor‘s office know that they are treating a grown man like a child? Don’t the women have any dignity themselves? Aren’t they mortified that they’re covering for and enabling an exceptionally lazy man? Of all the crazy things women do to be subservient to men, I just can’t get my mind around this one.

170 would be normal on a 6’ tall guy. Adding 40 pounds would be visibly unattractive fat at that height, and it’s certain that he gained more than the 40 he claims. I also expect he’s shorter.

A Harvard study show that people with asthma are 49% more likely to contract COVID and 49% more likely to die from it. As the Hill article states, one likely reason that those with asthma aren’t showing up as recorded cases is because extra precautions are being taken for prevention due to the extra risks.

Of course they should, but not all women will do this. PickMes can be very dangerous for children. In addition to neglect, a number of kids also get murdered by their fathers every year, even with the mother present. Sick losers tend to seek out enablers who believe husband > her own kids.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/21 03:42 AM

Men close in height to me have short man syndrome, so no. They are intimidated or annoyed by other men being taller so they like to try and pretend they are ‘dominant‘ over me. They fail at that too and just end up being rude losers.

She says her husband was at home with her when he noticed the break in attempt. She wasn’t even aware of it. Which if she was truly home all day, she would more than likely have heard the attempt herself, being in an apartment.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/01/21 02:22 AM
16

She actually specifies that she goes to work, not even “works from home“. Also “attends” school as if she goes there too, but that one could go either way. And helps her mother as long as it’s not in an enclosed space so in person with her, AND “grocery shops” as if that’s in a physical store too. I just can’t see a woman who does even half of that in real life also claiming she stays home all day.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy11/01/21 02:18 AM
31

This seems fake. How is “she” home alone all day when she’s going to work, attending school, helping her mother and chauffeuring her husband around several times a day? There are men out there who get off on posting fake posts pretending to be women. Case in point?

In addition to the points already made, it is commodifying women’s bodies in the extreme. Making use of certain specific parts of a woman’s body for someone else’s personal gain. What is also never mentioned are the physical risks to the woman who’s being used as the incubator, which are many and include the risk of death. Pregnancy is not a neutral or healthy condition to be in.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/21 11:03 PM

Yup. And I truly have zero fucks to give over anyone’s frustration about being seen as a victim when lives are at stake. The tiny minority that isn’t forced into it is really irrelevant to any real discussion of the important issues.

Your second point is the one that’s always bothered me the most. It’s like they’re saying Ooh, it works for me, so what’s wrong with you? Must be your fault that you’re having a bad time of it.

Not even ‘everyone’. Every MAN. If the issue was women being entitled to sex, well you can imagine how that would go.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/21 06:17 PM

Just because you choose not to be treated good and believe HVM don’t exist doesn’t mean its reality. Just because you believe you have HVM in your life doesn’t mean that every woman does. They are rare and that’s the truth. And nobody “chooses not to be treated good”. Men choose to treat women badly. That’s on them, not us.

Wow that’s crazy and makes no sense at all. I’ve mostly only encountered the dependent kind. There was one exception and her behaviour was explained as she was treated badly by male coworkers, so now she treats female ones badly herself. Of course there was no answer when I pointed out that she should really know that it’s wrong then if she was on the receiving end first.

I see you’ve met my ex’s mommy. Unfortunately this is a likely outcome when adult women are financially dependent on their husbands for most of their lives, and then that support disappears. They have no idea how to function in the real world after decades of dependency and living in a bubble of believing they will always be taken care of as if they’re children themselves.

It’s never going to be her choice. It’s a default societal expectation that most women aren’t strong enough to to stand up against. Coercion doesn’t allow for choice. Choice feminism = liberal feminism.

I hope he does treat her well but given the drugs and the screaming, I very much doubt it. Men can behave normally in front of others while their private behaviour is completely different. He’s now losing control of his public behaviour given how he treated you. And with what you said about your father, I don’t think she gets that the way he treated you is wrong. But it was wrong. It’s not easy to get over having abusive parents. She knows that him raising his voice is wrong and abusive but it’s normalized for her due to your father. So it’s likely that this is the kind of man she’ll be with until she can really heal from the childhood abuse. Just to say that even if she gets free of this loser, the next guy likely won’t be any better. I think it’s perfectly reasonable to distance yourself from her and go no contact. He sounds absolutely vile and I’m glad you’re both safe. To be clear I’m not in any way blaming your friend for getting involved with him. But it’s important to point out the red flags to warn others. Age gaps and grown men who go after teens are always something to run away from. There are too many predators out there, red flags must become more commonly known and especially among young women who simply don’t have the experience to know when to run.

So a 6 year old loses her entire childhood because mommy’s desperate to keep a controlling man. Choosing to reproduce with a known loser makes that “mother” an even bigger POS than he is. She’s going to raise the boys to be POS just like the sperm donor and the girls to be their slaves. And she has the absolute gall to be rude to her sister, who’s already helping her out. My first thought was that he’d had a stroke, because I really, truly couldn’t believe a grown man would behave that way VOLUNTARILY. UGH. And of course she’s not leaving him either, JFC.

I meant for that to be a general comment, not specifically directed at you. But it’s not a generalization, it’s the norm. I’m glad that you are emotionally available in relationships, that’s great. But one exception doesn’t change the rule. LDRs are problematic for many reasons, and being EU is a big one.

Why is that total prick checking out his gf’s teenage sister? Why doesn’t she kick him out for being a perve and loser? Where TF does he get the damn audacity to dare to criticize her appearance, and try to control her behaviour? So many questions...

Why is this so hard for people to understand? I encountered a woman in her twenties who claimed to have gotten out of an ‘abusive‘ relationship of over a year. They never met in person, not one time. Of course emotional abuse is out there but there wasn’t even a real relationship for her to leave!

Aka sex worker, prostitute, hooker, OnlyFans ‘model’, etc. I’m not dissing women who have to do sex work. But when that’s your marriage, it should be questioned hard.

It’s natural to want to help your own family, but in this case it might not be easy. Can you get her to join us here? Sometimes hearing the truth from strangers can have more of an impact than someone close. You could tell her FDS is about improving your relationship, which it is! That might go over better than ‘they’ll get you to dump that POS’.

It’s a lot easier to continue a career than to try and enter the workforce after years away or no experience at all. So it does help to stay employed, even if the woman invests her money into ‘family’ stuff.

Masturbating for hours is a much better use of time than many other activities, ie: watching TV for hours, drinking for hours, etc. It’s actually healthy for women to come regularly so go for it whenever you like! The only concern is if you’re doing it excessively. That can be subjective but if you’re suffering from depression and it’s a coping method, you would do well to talk to a doctor or therapist about managing it differently.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with fantasizing about whoever you want to, men or women, celebrities or people you know. Are you afraid that doing so might lead you to cheat? Because cheating is a choice, it’s 100% in your control at all times. Thoughts and fantasies don’t create reality. Only actions do.

The ones I've known keep on playing the game, right down to pretending they still totally, definitely, super-want to get married "some day." An ex of mine went on to date a "friend" of mine who was closer in age to him. Pretty sure she got with him so he could help pay her bills. He went for it because he could sense that desperation and he knew he could play her any way he wanted and she'd put up with it and take care of him forever. I almost feel bad for her, but she's so much of a pick me tha…

Yes. If women their own age don't want them when they're in their 30s, these guys aren't going to magically improve themselves by the time they turn 40, or 50, or 60.
