But even if we do assume that your height is not specifically attractive to women, and even if we are just talking about physicality, that's only one vector to consider. What about the rest of your looks? Those play a part too. You can be short and attractive. Well... I guess I have nice hair and skin. Apparently, I have clear skin too.

I also want to point out something you may not have considered: When people call you "adorable," that is a compliment. I can't speak for anyone else, but generally when I call someone cute or adorable, I am being horny as hell. Admittedly I am very dominant in bed and am attracted to people who seem vulnerable, so that may skew things, but please consider that someone calling you "adorable" isn't necessarily saying they don't find you attractive. Also, if I offered to let someone sit on my lap, …

Look, all I'm asking is, how am I gonna date someone when something like my height wouldn't make them feel anything positive?

A big thing is how they complain about ratchet, dumb and whorish women, but will invite these SAME WOMEN on their podcast to "own" them in a "logical" debate. These women, who are usually IG models and OF creators, are paid to be there; some of them who are of actual decent intelligence act dumb for the camera as they are paid to do it. F&F would them as some form of testament to "female nature," as if most women behave like this, when it's the same type of women. Instead of teaching men to stay…

I notice this with girls that I've found attractive. I would tell them that they look good and they don't believe that. And yes, all of them have some form of mental illness. That's why I've realized now that feeling good about how you look is a guaranteed superpower.

If any woman says no, then they've lost their minds. They can have their preferences, but to say that short guys can't be considered attractive is posing the plot entirely. Fuck, I'm 5'5" and I'm cute asf.

I think your best bet is to lean into your interests. You say you’re a goth- do you reflect that in your fashion and the way you present yourself? Kinda. I do dress in black/dark clothes, and I have a t-shirt business, so I could just print more goth shirts. But I feel like it's not enough, and I need to lean into it more. All of this shit seems insidious, tho. It's like I'm put into this zone where it's hard to appeal to any woman. I'm not white enough to be a pretty boy, not black enough to be…

Gaze means to look at. In this context, the gaze (of any of the two sexes) refers to what's the most aesthetically pleasing (and sexually arousing) to men and women when perceiving the opposite sex.
/r/ExRedPill12/06/24 04:56 PM
2

The basis is that I don't fit the "pretty boy" look nor the macho look, so I have virtually no appeal.
/r/ExRedPill12/06/24 04:54 PM
2

No, I just want advice to be like that. I find it weird that whenever I ask for advice, people are against giving it to me. Look at my profile. It's clear that I need improving, but I'm not getting that here. I finally want to appeal to women, but it's like the info is gatekept on how to do that.
/r/ExRedPill12/06/24 02:36 PM

And I said to you that whenever the female gaze is brought up, it's like the examples I've stated.
/r/ExRedPill12/06/24 02:26 PM
1

Well... all were created by men, but they weren't talking out of opinion. They showed stats and clips from YouTube and TikTok where women were stating their infatuation with guys like Timothée Chalamet, members of BTS, and any guy with a pretty boy/TikTok boy look. It's basically just the same masculine features I can't attain (big muscles, sharp jawline, tall) plus the "feminine" features I can't attain (clear skin, soft look, longer hair than I do now).

Cuz I have been being what I want and doing what I've want, and I barely got results. When I was 15, I was involved in what I thought was a relationship, but she didn't like me back, and when I was 18, I dated someone online, but it was a total mess cuz of how mentally unstable she was (constantly had to walk on eggshells, dealing with her insecurities, having to mask my true feelings). I wasn't even doing it to get women, as I prioritized videogames and anime. Every time I am myself, it's only …

Men think women care about buffness/ chiseled jaw/whatever but most women just want a man who is comfortable in his own skin". But in that way, that would mean that the female gaze doesn't exist, right? Also, as an aside, I checked your profile, and I think you may be dealing with body dysmorphia because you are a good-looking guy, and it's possible that addressing the dysmorphia and the feelings it causes could help you develop the charisma that the female gaze seems to truly be about. Stop trying to figure out what women in general want physically and trying to be that. Isn't that what guys are told to do? If I want to up my chances, why shouldn't I be that? It should be more attractive than how I am now.

Stop wearing graphic tees: they read very juvenile. I know I just said shave your face, but youthfulness =/= looking like a kid. I honestly didn't know that. Why would it, tho? you really want to wear a tshirt, wear a vintage band tshirt of something slightly obscure that doesn't look like it's out of a walmart bin. Even if you do this, layer a button down. OK, good, cuz I want t-shirts of my favorite goth and post-punk bands. Thanks for the advice, it's very helpful

You know how to fit the female gaze perfectly? Be a semi-normal person who can make lighthearted conversation and isn’t obsessed with “the female gaze” or whatever. Wanting to fit the female gaze isn't being obsessed with it. I’d be willing to bet a sizable sum that the reason you are having trouble with relationships is that you don’t know how to talk to people, or your awkward and off-putting in some way. Well, I have lot of friends and I talk to people. And I've yet to have a girlfriend.

Whenever I look at media for women, the men in there look very different than any gymbro, alpha male, chad-looking type of guy. But I am average at best, and those guys look way above average. Even if we remove jawline, noses, muscle size, etc., they still look they they dropped from Heaven.

What is the female gaze, if it's not about physical features. It's called a gaze because it's an aesthetic. And whenever I hear about "how men carry themselves," it includes physical features.

You might be right, and I definitely see you as a genuine person, so I believe you. I don't know who else to believe, tho. Why are people saying different things, claiming it as truth? And if there is no truth, where should I go from there?

Yeah, I know. I know that I'm just dealing with trauma and pain from how I was treated in the past. The girls I mentioned in my post did mistreat me to the point that it feels like I can't have a normal connection (or any connection at all) with women. I'm scared to, in fact. But aren’t many of them in relationships? Doesn’t that tell you that it’s not such a huge issue overall? All I can say is that most of my peers aren't. You need a social life to get a girlfriend. There isn't much routes to take other than college and maybe a few anime and gaming conventions where I live. Often people will just be wild for someone new and different. I wouldn’t read into it that much, unless they aren’t dating Black guys at all. And I mean as adults. It’s common not to date in hig…

1) The Black men you see around you, are they all single? Where I live the young teen girls all crushed on boyband members. And then they grew up and fell in love with someone they connected with in real life. It’s just a life phase, like girls being obsessed with horses. Some of them aren't. 2) Do you have a social life where you meet girls? Only in college 3) School can be hard. Especially if you feel bullied and excluded. The girls who are so into these idols, though? They don't realize that South Korea is a misogynistic capitalist hellscape. Worse, they've got internalised racism going on. If you want to be "cool," you've got to know what that means to you. If you want to be perceived as "cool," you've got to know what that means to the people around you. Ultimately, it sounds like you want to cultivate a mindset that allows you not to think so much about others' perceptions of you, but you also want to be a genuinely admirable man. You want to align yourself -- and your behavior -- with your values. That sounds like a wonderful goal if you ask me. That is exactly how I thought of…

The problem is that I don't know who I'd appeal to. Sure, I do want to date just one woman, but I don't know which one I would attract.
/r/ExRedPill31/03/24 09:57 PM
1

OK, so basically, this is saying that the average is different than the mode and that it's impossible to appeal to most women by being within the average or above? If so, why do I hear about the average preference more than anything outside of it, assuming that nobody's average?
/r/ExRedPill31/03/24 02:02 PM

So why are you so upset over being short? Many women are into that. If by "many," you mean 10%, then you'd be correct. Just because there’s a slight chance someone won’t be into you because of a physical feature, doesn’t mean you should give up. It's not a slight chance, it's a huge chance. I have HS. Google it (or not if you’re sensitive to gore.) Gross oozing lesions over my groin and armpits. Should I give up? What man or woman is attracted to that? It’s repulsive. You can do that if you want…

Yes, I accept my genetics, and I accept that I am just unlucky. So why is it a problem if I give up? And for the record, I don't care if a girl is taller than me. In fact, sometimes I'm kinda into it.
/r/ExRedPill31/03/24 01:02 AM

Ok? Lots of people get lucky when they find the right person for them. Yeah, and I just have way less luck than taller guys. Idk dude. It's obvious you want to date and have companionship and whatnot. But also you talk so negatively about yourself. It's a form of self sabotage. Hold up. Many people talk negatively about themselves, and it doesn't affect their chances. I have a friend who often does, and he has dated two girls before (and he's tall). Honestly from your post history it sounds like…

/r/ExRedPill31/03/24 12:42 AM

Even if it was true, that doesn't mean you have to give up. There's a near infinite variety of people in the world, and you only have to find one person who likes you. I'd be a lucky man for that to happen. Maybe work on your life instead of stressing over dubious graphs of unknown origin. What do you think I do when I'm not?

/r/ExRedPill30/03/24 11:15 PM

Then what is the point of the graph? There's nothing wrong with me giving up on dating. I'm not blaming women for my struggles; I was just unlucky, and I just have to live with it. Of course, that is if the graph is true. If not, then I don't have to give up. Btw, when I say "give up," I mean giving up the thought of dating.

I challenge you to challenge this way of thinking. I used to be like this and then years later people would say to me "but what about X, she had a thing for you" and I'd go "SHE DID?" and they would go "JESUS, YOU DIDN'T KNOW?" Well, what would make a girl not open up about that? If you live in the middle of nowhere I'd suggest a plan for moving to a bigger city eventually. Well, I live in a pretty big area, but I go to this huge college anyway, so that is where most of my offline socialization …

The least I can do is make an effort to find people who are actually into that shit

Yeah, and I honestly feel preyed upon and manipulated

Just one thing - you say women are into tall, muscular, athletic men. Do you see not so tall, not so muscular, not so athletic guys around you dating at all? You THINK that's what women want. Ordinary guys are fine. Well, yeah, I understand that, but I'm not ordinary. My height would make me below average. At least the ordinary guys are closer to the ideal than I am. I do see myself fitting a particular niche, but I doubt that there's any girls around me who are attracted to that niche. I can on…

I do accept the fact that I am an odd person, but it really bites me. As I said, it's likely that I have StPD. I'm pretty sure my country (Jamaica) still finds alt people to be weirdos, so dressing alt would prolly not get you any positive attention. As for the philosophy club, we have yet to start one, but I'm hoping that we can finally start one next semester. A lot of the women here don't see my hobbies as attractive (they seem to want sportsy guys, or gymbros). If you consider gaming, manga,…

I've also known short dudes where it just kinda WORKED for them, like... Their personality went well with being short somehow, I don't know 🤷🏼‍♀️ neither had trouble dating. How does someone's personality fit their height?

What, I'm confused. Should I expose myself to more things such as that link?

Yeah, I could. I have to see if there's a click first, that's the issue.

What would I expose myself to?

Oh shit, that reminds me. A few minutes ago, a girl literally said in a discussion that she would rather take an ugly guy who smells nice and takes care of himself over a pretty guy who doesn't. I dunno if that's a coincidence or a sign, considering the thread.

What do you mean by a league higher than you though? Like you think that for a woman they're more attractive than you are for a man? Well, yeah. As in, her level of beauty is higher than mine. I'd also suggest trying to be open to a wider variety of beauty Wdym?

I don't think "leagues" exist in any concrete way for every human but loosely speaking I think an average guy like me would struggle trying to date models. I dunno, never tried. Not my type anyway. Any girl I consider cute always seem to be in a league higher than me. They don't even have model looks most of the time.

Now that you mention it, it's usually guys who are assholes to me about my looks and height.

Would that mean a girl would be less disgusted by me being attracted to her than if guy was disgusted by a girl being attracted to him?

No, cuz I don't have romantic feelings for men. I have both romantic and sexual feelings for women, but for men, it's only sexual. Then there is the whole height thing that I don't see gay or bi men care about.

Wow, I didn't know it was that common. Maybe I shouldn't worry about that, then, as no one is any better.

Well, I haven't really gotten time to feel good about myself, so I usually compliment women without expecting anything romantic in return. Maybe I do need more female friends, but I dunno how to do so, as making friends for me just happens spontaneously.

I started realizing that being interested / attracted to someone is not an imposition on them at all. In a lot of cases I wasn't even going to do anything about it and they would never know anyway. But even if I did ask someone out, they can say no, and I'd respect that. Of course, it can get weird if it's someone you have to see all the time at work or something, but I'm kind of a "don't shit where you eat" type anyway so that never came up. Yeah, that makes sense. It's just that it feels like …
