So you''re saying that technology is causing millions of years of biological evolution to evaporate overnight? Women report being deeply unhappy with modern life. They want to get married and make babies. I don't think technology will change that.
/r/MensRights23/06/17 02:41 AM

Since there is no going back [to traditionalism] Says who? Seems like many women are ignoring feminist pressure to pursue careers and are now quitting their jobs to become stay-at-home mothers. There are certain biological realities at play that cannot be suppressed

George Soros, an extremely wealthy capitalist, funds marxist organizations and leftist extremist groups like Antifa. By your stupid logic, that must make marxism a capitalist plot, right?
/r/MensRights21/06/17 11:51 AM

George Soros, a western capitalist, funds marxist groups and leftist extremists. I guess that proves marxism is actually capitalism, right?

Another logical fallacy. Marxists are not only liars ("marx invented the term capitalism"), they are also incredibly stupid.
/r/MensRights21/06/17 11:41 AM

"This historical fact alone shows that feminism is capitalist and not Marxist." Dude, you are a blithering idiot. Your statement is a non sequitur on the level of a 3-year-old child. Let's start with the fact that communist countries are brutally repressive tyrannies that do not tolerate competing ideologies. Duh. There are a lot of marxist dipshits running around in capitalist countries, does that mean capitalist countries are marxist? What a fucking idiot
/r/MensRights21/06/17 11:37 AM

No, you idiot. It just shows that capitalist societies are more free and are more tolerant of dissent. Feminism is antagonistic of capitalism. Feminists are strongly anti-capitalist.
/r/MensRights21/06/17 11:29 AM

Your statement is completely irrelevant and it is also a lie. Not that it matters to this discussion, but Marx did not invent the term. Fucking idiot

You love to repeat non sequitur arguments, huh?
/r/MensRights21/06/17 11:07 AM

You say capitalism sucks as you make comments using technology brought into the world by it. Capitalism is a vastly superior system that allows for free exchange by consenting individuals. It is simpletons like you who demand everybody else give them free stuff.

Western society hasn't been a patriarchy for many decades. We are a gynocentric society, and even a century ago when we were patriarchal, we had chivalry which protected women. You feminazi idiots want to allow millions of muslims to flood into western civilization. Muslim culture is extremely patriarchal. You will be forced to wear a veil and be subservient to men when the muslims overwhelm us. Feminists are so fucking stupid that they actually support this insanity.

Mandatory Arrest laws. THough most of these laws are probably gender neutral, the intent and application clearly favors women. Not sure this is a right, but I would argue that it violates the 4th and 5th amendment rights of those it targets (mostly men)

Rape Shield laws give an unfair legal advantage to female alleged victims in rape cases. The intent was to prevent a woman's sexual history from being unfairly used against her. 1st, and 2nd wave feminism was great. It actually was needed. 3rd wave? I would caution you to perhaps stop using the "wave" category to describe feminism. There is really only two movements: the Suffrage movement, which died out in 1920, and modern feminism, which was born in the 1960s. What many people refer to as "third wave" is really not any different than so-called "second wave." The "second wave" did many horrible things and are just as bad as feminists today. They are essentially the sam…

Historically, matriarchies didn't survive because of their myopic ignorance of human nature and failure to protect the tribe from destruction from outsiders. I realize there are quite a few leftists here, some of whom have vocally advocated that r/MensRights (and the Men's Rights movement in general) should become a leftist/socialist movement. That's not going to fly, as we do not want to devolve into a bunch of SJW crackpots who will eventually resort to violence.

I remember in the 1980s the feminazis used to post political ads like this in the US stating "Give dad a child support summons for Father's Day." It wasn't an advertisement from a back-stabbing lawyer. No, it was a message from feminists on how to collect child support.

You're obfuscating by conflating everything done by wealthy individuals as an act of capitalism. There are many wealthy leftists who use their capitalist-generated wealth to push socialist agendas. Modern Feminism is a leftist ideology that has its roots in extreme leftist politics. Anyone who thinks feminism is in any way a "right wing" or "capitalist" movement is insane, idiotic, or a pathological liar.
/r/MensRights08/06/17 12:58 PM

Thank you for giving an accurate account of the reality of the islamic problem. I'm getting tired of lying apologists blaming the west, or blaming capitalism and "wealth inequality" for the inevitable bloodshed caused by a psychopathic religion.

Get real. Muslims have been starting shit with their neighbors for over a thousand years. The Turks slaughtered over a million christians in WW1. Muslim violence has been flaring up without any provocation from the west for pretty much every century and almost every nation since the death of muhamed. Don't try that self-blaming apologetic bullshit here.

Another stupid leftist assessment that misses the mark by hundreds of miles. Islam is a religion of conquest, and has been from the beginning. We have been fighting a long simmering conflict with muslims for over a thousand years. Shove your marxist brainwashing up your ass, you fucking idiot.

Here are a few serious flaws I see with this: Although you claim otherwise, it is yet another example of feminists attacking some (or all) men or certain masculine traits for their alleged faults, ie "toxic masculinity" without any attempt to be fair or reasonable, and then using it as an indictment, or at least a shaming tactic, against men in general without an acknowledgement that the vast majority of men are actually good. Michael Kimmel and Jackson Katz peddle this kind of collective respon…

Many feminists hide behind the dictionary. There is a HUGE difference between action and words. Feminism IS what feminism DOES. The TRUE definition of feminism is: "Feminism is a leftist ideology that demonizes men and blames them for everything, and which seeks to gain special rights and privileges for women at the expense of men." That is the real definition.
/r/MensRights06/06/17 05:00 AM

This isn't about you or your personal version of feminism. It would be like someone who called themselves a Nazi but is opposed to the racial supremacy and nationalism because they have their own version of Naziism. It's utterly ridiculous.

I don't accept a conveniently shifting definition of a made-up term. It changes depending on who is being asked. Two weeks ago some sources claimed it was about violence and sexual aggression. But for argument's sake let's pretend the Wikipedia version is the universally accepted definition. Let's break it down: "The concept of toxic masculinity describes standards of behavior among men in contemporary American and European society...." So there is a widely accepted "standard" of prescribed masc…
/r/MensRights06/06/17 04:39 AM

Nope. I think "toxic masculinity" is a made-up term that describes an unfalsifiable and vague concept that can be applied to any situation as feminists see fit.
/r/MensRights06/06/17 03:55 AM

It's fine with you that a so-called "equality movement" that purports to support women's choices plays partisan politics and is firmly rooted on the extreme left? Feminists attack and demonize conservative women in the most vicious ways imaginable. They certainly aren't in favor of equality for all women. I guess if you're a socialist you don't give a shit about the hypocrisy of feminism.

/r/MensRights06/06/17 02:07 AM

If you are a feminist, then you are an enemy of all men (and western society).
/r/MensRights06/06/17 02:05 AM

"The wage gap isn't manufactured, it's demonstrable" Then prove it. Also explain why an employer would ever hire a man if it were true. "Toxic masculinity and rape culture are also very real" Proof, or shut the fuck up. If a concept is based in reality and manifested itself in actual observable behavior there will be actual evidence of it. Cough it up or admit you're a liar.

Actually, if you ignore ridiculously overpriced universities like Harvard and Yale, the tuition prices between the US and UK are fairly comparable, with the US being only marginally more expensive. The problem with tuition is that market forces aren't being allowed to work effectively due to government interference and leftist policies distorting the whole thing. Colleges should go out of business if they follow bad practices or produce an inferior product.
/r/MensRights03/06/17 04:36 PM
2

Nope. As I previously stated, it is government interference and leftist policies that drives prices so high. The standards have been so lowered that they'll accept any idiot off the street into college, flooding the universities with mediocre and low performing students. There is no market incentive to lower costs. College used to be for smart people. Now it's a brainwashing center for leftist propaganda for idiots.

/r/MensRights03/06/17 06:31 AM

Don't knock capitalism. Capitalism fucking rules. Universities allow too many knuckleheads in who don't belong there. Government interference and leftist politics are what drives the prices so damn high.
/r/MensRights03/06/17 06:21 AM
9

What is causing the problem is government interference in the free market, and leftist administrators who keep raising tuition to fund garbage like "Women's Studies" departments where you can get a worthless degree in brain rot. That combined with allowing too many low performing students into universities who shouldn't be there in the first place. Universities are a joke, and many young people are realizing they'll get more value by going to tech school.

Do you believe in freedom? Do you believe in individual rights? Do you believe you are able to choose your own destiny? Socialism destroys that. Socialism takes away the freedom of the individual to choose. It is fundamentally flawed because it destroys natural market forces and causes an inevitable collapse of the economy. It has everything to do with cultural marxism and the leftists trying to tear down society. It's not men per se, it's that the leftists want to destroy the nuclear family and fundamentally transform western society into a degenerate mess that can be easily controlled. That's when they will put the chains of socialist tyranny on us. Men are merely the first set of dominoes in a long chain of events to our eventual destruction.

I don't have anything off the top of my head, but I know Christina Hoff Sommers wrote a book called "Who Stole Feminism?" that talks about some of what happened in the 1960s. I've read some of the history of the feminist movement and I really caution people to make the distinction between the Women's Suffrage movement and modern feminism (Betty Friedan inspired). It's true that the term "feminism" existed during the Suffrage movement, but was not used to the extent it is today. The Suffrage movement died out in 1920. The only type of feminists I have any respect for are the individualist feminists, like Christina Hoff Sommers or Wendy McElroy, but you can count them all on one hand and they are rejected by the wider movement. Nope. Socialists want to do the exact same thing. Stop lying. I know you lefties have a problem with the truth, but I won't put up with dishonesty
/r/MensRights14/05/17 04:49 PM
2

Then you should already know that feminism is nothing but a hate movement that demonizes men and hides behind a false veil of "equality."
/r/MensRights14/05/17 04:40 PM
2

I appreciate your tone policing but sometimes people need a dose of cold hard reality before they wake up.
/r/MensRights14/05/17 04:37 PM

"You not only failed to explain how MRA and socialism are opposed ideologies..." It's very simple. We support individual rights and equal opportunities. Socialists want to use state power to enforce equal outcomes, which is exactly the same thing feminists advocate. We stand in opposition to this because it always results in abuse and tyranny. If you don't understand that basic principle, then you do not belong here.
/r/MensRights14/05/17 03:17 PM

"For feminists, I'd say to actively and actually uphold their tenants of equality for the sexes." Unfortunately, the term "equality" has a completely different meaning for feminists than the classical liberal one we are familiar with.
/r/MensRights14/05/17 03:10 PM
4

Wait a minute. Did you just join the feminist movement yesterday without knowing anything about it?
/r/MensRights14/05/17 03:04 PM
7

Ask your fellow feminazi sisters why. The feminists started this gender war. Do you not even know your own movement or its history?
/r/MensRights14/05/17 02:51 PM
3

If you are a feminist, then you are our enemy
/r/MensRights14/05/17 02:24 PM
5

Feminism is a rotten hate-filled ideology that we are fighting against. We are enemies, so don't try to suggest they might help us. That's just ridiculous.
/r/MensRights14/05/17 02:23 PM
1

LOL! This is going to piss off the stupid marxists on this sub.
/r/MensRights14/05/17 01:38 PM
3

Marx was an asshole and his ideas were stupid and without any factual basis. This is ironic because he and his subsequent worshippers claimed to be "scientific" in their analysis of culture and politics, despite the fact that there isn't a shred of science contained within their delusional ramblings. And yes, modern feminism is based on marxism.
/r/MensRights14/05/17 01:30 PM

You're an idiot. Stop trying to turn this movement into another SJW cult. We don't believe in your leftist garbage.

Please explain.
/r/MensRights12/05/17 04:35 PM

My post was in response to some idiot who said the MRM should be socialist. Pay attention, for christ's sake. I am counterattacking leftist scumbags who are trying to push their political ideology onto this sub. "I won't even ask the question because I know the answer. This has nothing to do with Men's Rights." Yeah no fucking shit, Sherlock. Maybe if you DID ask the question, I could have told you why I posted this.
/r/MensRights12/05/17 04:33 PM

"Humans are by definition a social species, combining labor to produce a greater result." This is an irrelevant statement. It has been well known for thousands of years that humans are a social species that tend to live and work in groups because it is beneficial in many ways. This does NOT lend any credibility to your stupid political ideology, so there was no reason to bring it up. "How does a system which recognizes that all those who contribute to that combined product deserve a share in it …

Socialism is one of the most evil and destructive systems ever devised. Fuck socialism. Go shove it up your ass, you fucking commie piece of shit.

"Yes, for many people it isn't [a choice]." My god, you are stupid. It is absolutely a choice, no matter who or where you are. Nobody can control what another person thinks or believes. "The idea that you can change your religion at will is a modern, western concept." What a complete load of crap. Not only are you an idiot, but you're a liar too. Since the beginning of humanity people of all cultures have freely chosen to accept, reject, or change their religions. This is not a "new" or "western…

Wow, so you are saying religion is not a choice?
/r/MensRights10/05/17 06:28 AM

I will repeat what he stated earlier, and we'll see if you get it this time. NOBODY IS BORN MUSLIM. Did you get it? Being a muslim (or any other religion) is a CHOICE. He is under no obligation to respect anyone else's stupid choices.
/r/MensRights10/05/17 05:40 AM

/r/MensRights10/05/17 04:52 AM

BLM is actually a leftist political movement that supports violence, but that's beside the point. We support men's rights in this subreddit. As you stated yourself, we are a small group that can barely support our single goal of advocating for men's rights. We're not going to start supporting every cause under the sun because some unreasonable jackass like you tells us who he thinks we ought to support.

"It may shock you but outside the internet mra is pretty niche, and when I brought up even the concept of it to my fellow expat lawyers they did not understand any of it" Gee, like we didn't already know that we are a small and relatively unknown group. /r/MensRights10/05/17 04:19 AM

You're overthinking it. Feminism is what feminism does. I have personally tried to argue with the editors of Webster's dictionary to change the definition of feminism, but to no avail. Good luck.

/r/MensRights19/04/17 05:35 AM

And I'm just giving mine, so don't be a fucking hypocrite.
/r/MensRights18/04/17 02:35 AM
1

Wrong on all accounts. JBS was never a terrorist organization, so I think you pulled that one right out of your ass. Also, he never once said the KGB took over education. That's a ridiculous claim. We have a fifth column of leftist assholes in this country who were more than willing to do these things and rot away this country from within. It's not far fetched at all, it actually happened.
/r/MensRights18/04/17 02:34 AM
1

And you are stupid. I can't believe how far you're pushing this, all the while missing the original point.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:20 PM

The leftwing of the MRM can say whatever they like. But if they start shoving leftist propaganda down our throats it will tear the movement apart.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:04 PM
1

Have you read the Zoe post? Show me the exact quote where he says that. Be very precise. Also, nobody said that anyone gave her an actual official review. Grayson and others gave her positive mention. It's in print, you idiot! AGAIN You have missed the point ENTIRELY!
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:02 PM
1

I agree. But I also don't want leftists subverting the place into an "Atheism Plus" type situation where our original mission is twisted into supporting social justice or other marxist bullshit.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:56 PM
1

Uh no. I have seen first hand what happens when leftists infiltrate and take over other movements. They suddenly claim that they discovered it and that it is their movement. Then they destroy it from the inside, just like the whole "Atheism Plus" fiasco and Gamergate. Not going to happen here. The men's rights movement was around for decades before this current crop of lefty snot-nosed punks came along.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:38 PM
1

Some of this is sort of correct, but it sounds like portions of it came from anti-gamergate sources. Nobody ever claimed that Zoe Quinn got favorable reviews for sexual favors. But Depression Quest did get favorable mention on several occasions. It was shameful and embarrassing. A cheap, shitty game built off a template was getting mentioned by her lovers. Besides being inaccurate in your facts, you have also missed the point of all this and obviously misunderstood Gamergate.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:33 PM

That's not the facts. People misunderstand me

/r/MensRights16/04/17 07:17 AM

"And DiGRA was simply accused of being "co-opted by feminists" in 2014 - after GamerGate was in full swing. Those accusations turned out to simply be conspiracy crap." It was all true. Sargon of Akkad has videos of a conference with these assholes talking about how their efforts to subvert gaming culture had failed. It's all on video.

2

I'm afraid you're confused about the facts and the timeline.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 07:03 AM
1

Both. But it is complicated. Yes, people were angry about unethical behavior (payola) by journalists but once Gamergate started it became clear that something even more sinister was going on. See, sometimes movements evolve and morph quickly, and therefore defy easy categorization.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:59 AM

Well if you hate capitalism then this is probably not the subreddit for you. I'm just trying to help guide people to the right place. No need to get prickly

/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:49 AM

There were skirmishes between Zoe Quinn and other Youtube personalities and gamers at least a year before Gamergate exploded. Also, the lead up to Gamergate involved Anita Sarkeesian lying about sexism in games, so there was already tension brewing between feminists and gamers. Then after the shit hit the fan we found out about the dirty insidious group called DiGRA, a leftist think tank attempting to subvert gaming culture
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:47 AM

Hey bro, do you always make stupid assumptions when you don't know all the facts? I already tried to submit the link but the sub blocked me because it has already been submitted in the past. I feel your pain. We're all lazy.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:35 AM
1

That is PRECISELY what it was from the very beginning.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:33 AM
1

Wrong. These events helped precipitate Gamergate but it started much earlier. See, when you get your "facts" from feminist sources you come up a day late and a dollar short. Gamergate was a very long time in the making.
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:32 AM
1

Are you hitting on me? Liv, this is mildly inappropriate!
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:29 AM

"Nope. See, GamerGate wasn't about "infiltrating". If you'd actually "lived through it", you would know why it turned from a journalistic integrity issue into an SJW playground" Many of the games journalists were already leftist zealots who were pushing a political agenda. The feminazis and SJWs were already on the scene, and had already infiltrated. But it began to unravel on them. Part of journalistic integrity is not shoving your ideology down everyone else's throat
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:13 AM

There's hope for all of us! ;)
/r/MensRights16/04/17 06:04 AM

Not at all. You're actually very afraid and uncertain, and tend to overreact emotionally. You have received therapy in the past and probably medication. Perhaps you're on it now. You believe that life isn't fair and look for causes or movements to attach yourself to in order to feel a sense of belonging and fight back against your perceived unfairness. This is a way for you to alleviate your anxieties. Has someone hurt you in the past?
/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:59 AM

Excellent, so you know about it. Good. Then you know that leftists have a nasty habit of infiltrating other movements and destroying them from the inside.

It was a joke.

/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:45 AM

Wow! So you must have done something like what you're describing in the past, and now you're accusing me of it. That's some very revealing projection! So you think of yourself as a revolutionary and like to puff your chest about it, huh?
/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:43 AM

/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:38 AM

/r/MensRights16/04/17 05:36 AM

This led to the absurdity of Rwanda being placed at the top of the index after the genocide because most men and boys were dead (!) The UN should be abolished. It is an anti-American organization run by criminals and we should renounce our membership in it. End homelessness. It is absurd that in the 21st century West we still have men living on the street. Many of these…

Fem-in-ism A paranoid leftist ideology that blames men for all perceived social ills and seeks special rights and privileges for women at the expense of men. It is a movement loosely modeled after 1960s era Marxist liberation movements, and whose main philosophical tenet is the belief that western society is controlled by an oppressive patriarchy.

I can think of a couple potential reasons this affects the MRM. 1. It may eventually be used to undermine our legitimacy. For example, "men's rights aren't necessary because men are an arbitrary social construct anyway" 2. It can be used as a case study for how the left operates. And lest we forget, the manner in which the left destroys and undermines our rights and tear apart our society on social issues like "gender identity" is exactly how they've already proceeded to destroy men's rights. Th…

"Looping back around back to the countries with the highest standard of living, most of the ones beating the US have mixed economies that lean much farther towards socialism." I'd like to see more proof, like which countries are we talking about, and who is deciding the criteria for comparison. If it's the scandinavian countries then I'm just going to laugh at you. They are making some movement away from socialistic policies because it is hurting them economically and is unsustainable. But when …

Nope. Taxation to pay for law enforcement and the military is not socialism. When the government starts to interfere in the economic system by choosing winners and losers and redistributing wealth, that crosses the line into socialism. We are a mixed economy, but we shouldn't be.
/r/MensRights19/02/17 10:50 PM

"So you think "providing for the common good" is a capitalist idea?" These functions are simply part of the social contract governments have with citizens. Government has provided "common good" services, like law enforcement, roads, and military for centuries. This has been going on far longer than the concept of "Socialism" even existed. Socialism has more to do with government controlling the entire economic system and redistributing wealth. You know, controlling the means of production.
/r/MensRights19/02/17 07:02 AM

No, those examples represent levying taxes to provide for the common good, something written in the constitution. None of those are socialist; they are merely the obligation of government.

"I've always considered the fight for equality a left politocs [sic] issue." That is precisely the same problem with feminists and SJWs. It's funny how some scientist with a political ax to grind can make an outrageous and absurd claim, eg 'Y chromosome going extinct', and the media fawns over it. It's almost like ideology can poison something that's supposed to be honest and ethical, like science, and pervert it into something vile and deceptive. Who would have thought this could ever happen? Hmmmm?????

I agree that these terms can potentially be overused and sometimes misapplied. That said, they are awfully convenient when you need to describe this current crop of whiners who want to shut everything down. Professionally Offended is a good term as well. Still, if you don't mind, I'll continue to using the "SJW" slur. It's just so easy, and I'm all about easy. You are correct that it isn't a good argument on its own, but it describes character traits and ideological leanings pretty well. And rem…

I've been fighting against feminism for decades, so I have maybe a little insight. The reasons for anti-feminist sentiment within the MRM are many: 1. Feminists are notorious for lying and academic fraud. Before it was "1 in 5" it was "1 in 4" (referring to bogus rape statistics). But there are many other examples of feminist lying (eg Superbowl battering hoax, wage gap myth, etc....) 2. Feminism is a leftist ideology. There is no excuse to alienate people who have a different political opinion,…

No, it is leftist politicians who support multicuturalism. Communists and socialists have a long history of pushing multiculturalism. In fact, it all started in communist Eastern Europe, long before it started in America. It was the soviet communists who pushed the stupid idea that the concept of race is invalid. You've shown that you confuse basic terms, like "free market" and "Globalism." You don't even have an accurate understanding of history.

An MRA doesn't need to have any credentials at all in order to critique an easy target like feminism, just a decent amount of common sense.

Perhaps the source of your confusion is that you conflate 'women's rights' with 'feminism?' I have no problem supporting the rights of women. I also have no problem attacking feminism, as feminism is the political movement that has caused the most damage to men's rights. Feminism is not about equality as it purports to be, something you fail to recognize. Also, you state: "Just imagine if we could barter misogyny for equal recognition and access to our children in the family courts. Or barter no…

Right, they [psychopaths] are driven to exert power , control and sadism over others. are you a feminist? Fuck no! Are you crazy?!? Why or why not? Feminism is a rotten ideology for lunatics. It's a dangerous cult. What is your opinion on feminism? I hate feminism with a vengeance. I will do anything and everything in my power to destroy it. I want feminism to become a dirty shameful word that people are too afraid to speak openly. Are you a man or a woman? Man

The intent behind reducing prison rape was because feminists believe it will reduce rape against women in society, and that it serves as a laboratory to study how to fight "toxic masculinity."

You are so screwed up in your reasoning it's like watching an 18-car pile-up on the interstate. It's a chain reaction of stupidity. There are so many things wrong with your thinking that there's nothing anybody can do for you. No wonder you're a feminist. Truth hurts. Feminists don't do anything for men unless it primarily helps women first and foremost. Again, NOW only passed that resolution in 1980 because they felt woman were unfairly excluded from combat by the US military. They were (yet ag…

You have serious problems with logic and common sense. Just because she happened to be a feminist doesn't mean the law is a feminist law. Quit being ridiculous. Is Apple a Syrian corporation just because Steve Jobs was Syrian? So Syrians gave us the iPhone and the iPod?

Do you think they are implying forced anal sex is an afterthought as well? Rapists often anally penetrate their female victims. Stop being obtuse. In this case, you cannot protect women without also protecting men. Feminists then get to claim altruistic intentions as icing on the cake. Like just because they also were fixing the definition in other ways doesn't diminish the fact they were looking to include male rape in the definition. How convenient! Feminists certainly get to claim they were h…

Also the Prison Rape Elimination Act was heavily supported and pushed by Lovisa Stannow, a feminist. Just Detention International is NOT a feminist organization! It was founded in 1980 by Russell Dan Smith as People Organized to Stop the Rape of Imprisoned Persons (POSRIP) and was soon renamed Stop Prisoner Rape. Two of the organization’s early leaders were Tom Cahill and Stephen Donaldson, who were all victims of prison rape. Stop lying to support your narrative.

"Also the Prison Rape Elimination Act was heavily supported and pushed by Lovisa Stannow, a feminist" This explains her actual motivation: "What we see so clearly is that the prison environment tends to be a hyper masculine environment. Where anyone who is perceived as being feminine or weak or somehow not living up to the hyper masculine ideals becomes vulnerable to abuse. We see that the sexual abuse that occurs between inmates in a male prison is a mirror image of the sexual abuse that occurs…

You keep right on making excuses for yourself. In every case, without fail, feminists fight exclusively for women. If their activism also happens to inadvertently help men as a side effect, so be it. The feminist drive to change the FBI's definition of rape was never about helping men.
/r/MensRights01/07/15 02:04 PM

Also, the Prison Rape Elimination Act is NOT a feminist initiative. It was supported by many different special interest groups. Some feminist groups supported it because they were primarily concerned about rape in women's prisons. Feminists need to stop lying about this.

Did you read what I wrote? The "male rape" part was an afterthought. It got token mention in a single sentence. The PRIMARY focus was in changing an antiquated definition to stop under-reporting of FEMALE rape. You focused on the "male rape" part of one single sentence. That type of childish misunderstanding is why I called you a dipshit.

http://www.feminist.org/nomoreexcuses/rapeisrape.asp Read it and weep, dipshit. It is obvious that their primary concern is the under-reporting of FEMALE rape victims

It was a bad example and you shouldn't have used it. As far as the FBI definition of rape, it was never feminists' primary goal to include male rape victims in the new definition.

What a convenient cop-out. The influence of education, peer pressure, and media has been proven. You need to prove a woman's choice isn't the direct consequence of these variables or you "they chose it" argument doesn't have any weight. Very few Men's Rights issues are a direct result of feminist activism. I'm always amazed at the depth and breadth of feminist brainwashing on the public regarding these issues. The simple fact is that almost ALL Men's Rights issues are directly or indirectly caused by feminism and feminist activism. Men's Rights issues and Women's Rights issues both stem from the same place, outdated dogmatic and regressive gender roles. These gender roles evolved through trial and error over a millennia of huma…

I misspoke. It was feminists who pushed the oppressive laws that are destroying men's lives. The cowardly male politicians kowtowed to the feminists or gladly took up the cause under the misguided delusion they were "helping women." But never forget that they were laws written and pushed by feminists.

"...Because feminism is 'the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes'. So if you believe in equal gender rights, you are a feminist." You are dead wrong. Consider this a fair warning: You better be careful if you go head to head with Kimmel because the guy is a slimy little weasel. He knows how to manipulate and twist everything around on you. You won't win even though you have the facts on your side; you'll lose because he outweaseled you. You cannot claim to be both a feminist and an MRA. They are contradictory and anathema to each other. Most of men's rights issues are directly caused by feminism. The only exception would be if you're an "individualist feminist" or "equity feminist" like Christina Hoff Sommers and Wendy McEllroy.

The government is outright hostile to fatherhood. This should shock everyone to their core, but it usually doesn't unless you've been on the receiving end of it. This so-called "Patriarchy" doesn't exist in the western world. The majority of political leaders are men because women choose not to run for office. You must remember that women are free to run for political office if they choose. Women outvote men, so the electorate is essentially dominated by women. Legislators make all kinds of laws for the benefit of women. This whole "our leaders are mostly men, therefore patriarchy" is an idiotic load of horse shit.
