I have been fighting for it but she doesnt give back. I have done date nights, taken her out to dinner, given massages, telling her she looks good. We even went to japan this summer on my initiative. Doing alot or the house work. We went to a counsler but my wife didn't want to make any changes.

Ive told her that i miss emotional connection but she doesnt seem to care. Made no efforts, all fysical contact is always initiated by me. Ive been thinking about leaving and it feels tough but the thoughts gets easier by time.

Thank you for reply. Yes most conversations are surface nowadays. A few years ago it felt like we had more to discuss more plans that involves building a life together. On the other hand life is pretty plane now days. Work, weekend, children and sometimes a travel. As you say lm probably a bit anxious and she feels avoidant she never apologize for anything if she fet upset anoyed its always someone else s fault.

This is a concern of mine, i dont think that she is cheating now, but who knows what will happen when she isnt invested in me anymore.

as it is now, I will not want it in the future. what remains is the image of how it has been and that it would be good again. I have learned that I need to feel appreciated, that someone wants me. Closeness and intimacy are also important to me. But it's hard to leave someone with whom you spend every day for 23 years. Im also afraid of beeing lonly, im good looking, nice and have a good job with a high salery. But you never know.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
