Are there general guidelines like this for bench, deadlift and overhead press?

Take this from someone who dated this girl for three years. At the end of three years - I had traces of my manhood, less money and in less shape. Spot on. Girls like this are experienced. They'll placate to make you seem bigger than you are. She knew my weakness for wanting to be more of a man and played off that for years. Use it as a learning experience: wrap your tool, don't LTR her and gain experience you'd be proud of.

Right? I went through this lifecycle just recently. I lost frame and there went a four year relationship down the drain. Once I was invested all the ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ behavior came flooding out. Considering you want to be in a relationship.. is the solution to be less invested if you get in a LTR?

Yeah. Be honest with yourself. Being truly honest with yourself is tough. You can’t lie to yourself. Also- be kind to yourself. You’ll make mistakes.

As someone who just exited a four year relationship as that boyfriend -- this advice is sound. I thought I could juggle a girlfriend and get out of the anger phase. I'm just now realizing the mistakes I made. They were tough on her as well. Really think about if it's right for you. No one can know your situation except yourself. We're just strangers on the internet eliciting advice on our own lives. You ultimately know what's best for you.

For clarity sake- Alpha immediately after her period ends until ovulation (which is when?). Beta from the beginning of ovulation to the end of her period (except the day before when her testosterone spikes). Ovulation has always confused me. My girl tends to have longer period cycles.

This is important. I screwed my mental not acknowledging I do this unconsciously. Live righteously - be good, like Patice O'Neal preaches: "Be the truth, you can't fuck with the truth."

As soon as I have the first cig of the day I feel a worthlessness come over my whole body. Genuinely wanting to quit anything and knowing all the benefits you will reap, yet failing...is demoralizing. I feel this way when fapping. I feel a significant chunk of testosterone and aggression is lost instantaneously. I discovered the best way to guard against this is to ween yourself off and eventually cold turkey. You can go back, but only after a significant amount of time (six months). By then, yo…

I'll take that as sarcasm. Never dated a girl in a LTR. It feels like part of TRP experience to opening my eyes to how men and women are different. What was your experience like dating a girl in a LTR?
/r/askTRP26/09/15 09:06 PM

Totally agree. I feel I'm playing the alpha/jerk card perfectly. I'm jerky but fun and positive. I DHV and she gives me the vibe we're at the same (if not more) SMV. Her close friends randomly met me at a bar and she said they really liked me. She admitted jealousy when a friend was getting territorial with me at a bar. I feel the conversation of "what are we" might come up in the near future. To me, we have a cap in that she has a boyfriend and anything more doesn't benefit me at all. Anything …

I fucked a bit telling some of my friends. It looks bad on me and her. My fault completely. Our work doesn't really care and would actually support us hooking up as weird as that sounds. I don't doubt that she's not LTR material, but she'd be fun to date concurrently with other girls.

It's shitty we can't bring our homies into TRP. I'd be ecstatic learning this in my early 20s. It's likely most of us will never meet, but the fact we can band together for a brotherhood makes the dark times more feasible. I can't fathom not having TRP in my life. On a different note, I haven't seen much mainstream tv/movies lately because it reverts me back to my Beta days. Is this just me?

Fuck this hit home. Swallowing the pill makes intimacy and love with a girl almost numb. It's human nature the way girls act. Men are the true romantics. Girls don't know shit. Name me a female Shakespeare or a woman who truly sacrificed in human history. It's always the guy that's the tribute. AWALT. Hang in there man. It's really all we can do

He tried hooking his buddy up with a girl that ended up grinding and making out with him. Was that the right call for him to go with it and make out with her? I'm not sure what protocol would be there.

She's just a girl. I'll be real, most girls aren't what you think. The pedestal is a real joke and you're gonna laugh when you get more experience. The bar is quite low. When you strike out, there will be another girl. The one constant in all situations is you. Follow TRP and you'll be damn if you don't believe you're the shit sooner than later. Don't skip a step, put your head down and get to work. Post a dope FR and hope you can inspire another brother to get his ass going too.

It's hard being mindful of a bunch so I'll give you three I'm personally working on: Don't be approval seeking (if you truly swallow the pill, you're the prize) Give honest signals (you want that booty.. be subtle and show it) Learn about her and screen for what you want. Not every girl is made for you. Accept that and tables will start turning in time. Of course external qualities like body posture, tone of voice and all that.

Looks play a part. It's only natural. I'll respond more warmly to the cute brunette than the land whales. We can't help it. He made an approach, full knowing he had anxiety and lacked confidence. Confidence is the reward for being courageous. He leveled up IMO. To me, sounds like OP is in semi-monk mode. Do yourself a favor and go balls deep. No point half assing an important TRP phase. It only sucks for the first couple weeks. You get in a weird state where you're addicted to self improvement a…

The more RP literature you indulge, the more you'll see commonalities with emotions. Emotions are unconscious and triggered by social conditioning. You got a choice here: let yourself drown in it, or observe it for what it is, an emotion at this moment. You can consciously let it control you, or observe and let it be. Zero judgement or remorse. Easier said than done, you get better at it in time. But yeah, it hit me like a train and I totally quarantined myself from girls for a couple weeks. Any…

Thanks for sharing man. I read every word. That's you in 6 months? I'm impressed and inspired. I'll lift, read and take opportunities as they come. I know it's not tangible to just BE alpha. I hope affirmations and living it out will get us there.

Not the answer I was looking for but I appreciate the sentiment Understand that by following your mission and training your body are the two single best ways to insure you're doing what you're supposed to be doing here. I know it's a never ending journey liking yourself and being comfortable in the world. Is there a point where everything clicked for you? You're still chipping away at your mission but took a second and realized "hot damn, no way I'm who I was when I started"
/r/TheRedPill19/05/15 07:44 PM
1

Dude... your reply echoes what I'm going through. I'm 25 and started waking up 6 months ago (lifting, reading, focusing on me). What helped you fight off the narcissism? Do you think going out more will help our cause, or keep reading and lifting till we're prime? I experienced mild results but haven't reached a point I'm proud of. I guess you'll never know until you become it, but any signs of progress that helped you realize you should put your head down and keep trucking?

Good work. I don't condone the fighting but respect how you took control of your life. Kudos man. I relate to this so much. Reading RP literature was key to understanding the way the world works. I'm working on my body (skinny-fat) and meditating to understand the voices in my head. Any meditation (besides actually doing it) practices or rituals you recommend?

This is the best I've read in this thread. You're right. I go in thinking this girl is probably amazing and out of my league. In hindsight, at least 60% of my cold approaches results in girls that are dull, have lame hobbies and only light up when music festivals center our conversation. Ref experiences are key in reinforcing this. Thanks man
/r/seduction19/04/15 02:25 PM

This works at night. Totally. Day game, you would approach a girl and it's hard to overcome your natural tendencies to be slightly in your head when you see potential with someone. For this instance, I think dropping your itch to check out assets on a chick passing by will help a lot. You wouldn't be distracted at her chest and stay focused on what she's saying

I feel you and you're right. I know putting ourselves as a priority will yield women into our lives as a byproduct. It's been frustrating getting next zero results. The muscle for socializing and asking for the number is getting stronger, but having women to have sex with isn't there yet. Thanks for the support man

It's a weird dynamic. I love my colleagues. They look out for me, I look out for them. She's selfish and fickle in personality. She's the only person I honestly dislike at work.. just happens to be a girl (go figure). She's not trying to hook up. Should I keep on acting indifferent? Is there a way I can sternly let her know she's not the boss of me? What do you think would happen if I continue to neglect her in conversation and not give her the good treatment I give my bros?
/r/askTRP17/02/15 06:16 PM

I feel you man. Last night, she sat down next to me in the limo, adjacent across the dinner table.. it makes zero sense. She kept tabs while I was networking. She literally hung around me as I was talking and obtrusively became apart of the conversation she didn't help start. Do you recommend I just keep acting indifferent towards her? I feel like there's a better way. I'd love your input bud

Sure it sucks she's gone, but now you got more tools in your belt for the next girl. Trust me, what you found special in her, you'll find something special in someone else. Experiencing what we've been missing out on is a clear goal for not so seasoned veterans in the field. I would go out and just take what comes with me and end up going home alone in triumph for going out. Good work OP, but /u/that-freakin-guy is right. We need to be mindful to number close and play a game that works to our advantage in the field. Girls do it unconsciously IMO. Doesn't make them good or bad, they just do it.
