That makes sense. But I do think our culture should move more towards looking out for eachother even if our society isn’t exactly that. The other thing is that our society doesn’t encourage producing violence and there’s also more to toxic masculinity. I would say toxic masculinity is more than just being toxic to others, it also involves being toxic to oneself. A lot of people would say this is internalized misandry, and that’s an accurate term too.

It’s definitely been talked about. I agree it hasn’t been enough though. I remember a news article on a mainstream paper coming out recently

I think both exist

This woman honestly is a lunatic. This shit scares me shitless. And while I know it likely won’t happen to me since I’m a white man, it’s still scary as hell that it happens at all. The worst part is fake feminists, TERFs, and girlbosses will read my comment and laugh because “that’s how women feel”. I do care about women feeling afraid of being raped or afraid at night or afraid of harassment, but that doesn’t devalue this issue.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/11/21 03:31 AM

Yeah it isn’t helpful. Though the one problem I have with non-academic feminist culture (by this I am saying there is an academic feminist culture that is very different) is that they act like their beliefs are infallible because they identify with the feminist label. No movement or ideology is perfect and that includes feminism and me too

AgainstHateSubreddits is normally right about hate subreddits. They’re just wrong about this one

MensLib is good at some things but it’s very limiting
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates27/10/21 03:17 AM

I think you hit the nail on the head. I’m not an anti feminist. I honestly consider myself a feminist and want to fight for women’s rights. But feminism is an imperfect ideology.

Deconstructing toxic masculinity and gender expectations are great. But calling men the “future dickheads of the world” is annoying. Women are equally as likely to be assholes. This fucking angers me
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/10/21 12:17 AM
1

It has everything to do with that lmao. You’re referencing the fact that I have HOCD and calling me gay to try to trigger me lmao. It’s pathetic. And nothing like the masculinity you strive to achieve. I don’t often use this term but judging by your pfp and how you’re acting, you’re a stereotypical neck beard. Not that there’s anything wrong with having a beard like that, but you act like how people say they act

Whatever dude. Nice try. And very mature of you, trying to pick at someone’s mental illness.

What slightly offensive comments
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates05/10/21 11:41 PM

Exactly. The other thing is that I don’t believe men are truly oppressed in the same way women are. They do face issues for sure. But it’s not as bad as women
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/10/21 10:07 PM

What I more mean is the misogynistic, right wing MRAs
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/10/21 09:46 PM
-6

Advocating for men’s rights isn’t the problem. It’s the people associated with the movement. What I have a problem with is misogynistic people.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/10/21 09:45 PM
-20

Honestly, both subreddits, LWMA and MensLib, have their flaws. LWMA does a great job at calling out feminist bullshit while not being overly misogynistic like MR. What we need to stop doing tho is stop welcoming MRAs and the like. Egalitarianism should be our goal. No whataboutisms like many feminists use.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/10/21 09:14 PM

Men DO need to learn how to be emotional with other men. It’s a fact. But feminists often don’t genuinely care about that. They just say they do
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/10/21 08:12 PM
1

I agree with most of this but there’s no such thing as “deserved female attention” or “undeserved female attention”. No one is entitled to attention from anyone. But what does need to be said is the fact not being creepy is all about turning women on and catering to their sexual fantasies. Look at the bdsm community. Dom women call dom men creepy and weird. And sub women call sub men creepy incels.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates19/09/21 09:58 PM

I agree with this post but honestly, the MRA isnt the best way to look good. They sometimes have good points but often times they hide behind conservative viewpoints and say misogynistic things
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates19/09/21 09:54 PM
1

I agree!
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates11/09/21 06:43 PM
2

I agree with most of this. The reason I see it as dangerous is when a woman talks about you to other people as a creep if you see eachother on a regular basis. This can result in bullying which harms mental health and men don’t often get the same mental health resources women do. But I agree you’re a creep if you keep pushing when a woman doesn’t wanna talk to you and it’s definitely more dangerous for women than it is for men.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates11/09/21 06:27 PM
3

I agree. It is dangerous for women. But it’s also dangerous for men too. Lots of women now paint almost every unattractive guy they see as a creep
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates11/09/21 06:19 PM

DC Super Hero Girls is aimed at young children. And as someone who actually likes DC, I know about it. It vastly misinterprets characters. One of which, Dick Grayson, is a very empathetic, kind, and sensitive guy normally. But guess what? They turned him into an ugly creep. Just because you haven’t heard at it, doesn’t mean it isn’t shaping how people view things
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/09/21 09:19 PM
8

You do have a point. But tons of female made media does the same thing. Look at DC Super Hero Girls. They made Dick Grayson an unattractive jerk. Birds of Prey is an isolated incident.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/09/21 04:16 PM

Saying anything unflattering to men is an attack too. Why do you need to call them hoes? Cant you just say they sleep around? I really have no time for this bullshit!
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 11:32 PM
1

Yes it absolutely does. They can do whatever they want with their bodies and they can enjoy sex too. I’m no fan of sex work, but I don’t think it makes them a “hoe”
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 11:25 PM
1

Red pillers do a lot more than that. They also attack women constantly. I’m not denying that the original message red pill pushes isn’t too bad. But the way red pillers act is
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 11:14 PM
1

First of all, FDS is a misandrist subreddit that ENCOURAGES toxic masculinity. I’m a man. No I’m not a feminist troll, I barely even identify as a feminist. I argue with asshole misandrists all the time. But encouraging toxic masculinity and making small dick jokes and using femininity as an insult to men IS ALSO misandry. Calling someone a soyboy is misandrist and encouraging toxic masculinity
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 11:12 PM
0

Being a red piller is negative because they think women are all evil witches. Tons of MGTOWs think the same way. It’s the same with feminists who generalize men.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 10:35 PM
-2

Those subreddits are also both misandrist. I’m not denying that. But those subreddits aren’t what we’re talking about Edit: I don’t see why I’m getting downvoted for this comment. At this point, people just don’t like my points. Right wingers are sad
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 10:14 PM

I will! You too!
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 09:51 PM

You know what, you’re right bro. I’ll delete the comment.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 09:48 PM

I’m surprised you didn’t lose your shit at me using they/them pronouns for you
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 09:18 PM
2

Bro, you’re literally using the only misandrist insults on your list: virgin, small dick, feminine, can’t get women did I forget any? You’re the type of dude to think men are valued by their body account. Again, pushing harmful expectations onto men.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 09:16 PM
-6

I’m legit not even insulted by their comment. Calling me feminine isn’t an insult. It’s just him trying to push his misandry
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 09:13 PM
-5

Woah woah woah, pushing toxic masculinity are we? Never thought shaming men for not living up to society’s expectations of masculinity wasn’t misandrist... oh wait, it definitely is.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 09:11 PM
-9

Being a red piller and believing all women are evil witches is definitely misogynistic. Being a MGTOW isn’t necessarily but there are tons of misogynists in MGTOW circles. Also, using the clown emoji just shows you don’t know how to prove a point.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 09:08 PM
-12

There ARE misogynists in MGTOW. It’s undeniable. They talk about how women are inherently not suitable partners and are bad people based on their personal experiences with shitty women. However, that doesn’t mean all MGTOWs are bad. But a lot are.
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 08:22 PM
-10

It’s not the wanting to be left alone that’s bad. It’s the misogyny that MGTOWs put out. I’m sure there are tons of non-misogynistic MGTOWs out there. But you can’t honestly tell me there aren’t MGTOWs who say “women bad” all the time
/r/PussyPassDenied07/05/21 08:08 PM

Then why the fuck do you guys allow so many TRP freaks

There’s no such thing as “level”. Everyone can have standards. However, saying a man is wrong for not liking a fat woman and somehow a woman has standards for not liking short men IS wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:30 PM

I’ve noticed that it gets scary when women return interest. I mean, sometimes it gets scary and we don’t kno what to do. I normally don’t have interest expressed towards me so flirting I don’t expect to go anywhere but when it does I have to come up with a plan fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:29 PM
6

I feel everyone needs to be friendly to everyone. I’m not part of any of these groups. I’m however an MLB(r/menslib is our reddit hub) A woman who opens the door first when a man gets close should keep it open and same for men. Everyone SHOULD be friendly to EVERYONE.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:26 PM

Women don’t HAVE to not reject you. However, the problem is, hey treat the guy who asked them out like the bad guy
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:25 PM
1

Exactly. There are manipulative men and manipulative women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:24 PM
1

Women I’ve noticed are better as they get older. It’s not always he woman’s fault. However, they aren’t taught to reject a guy nicely as a child. They are taught to make him the bad guy which hurts men. Honestly, I’m tired of not being able to participate in a nice conversation about men’s issues without a bunch of incels talking about their bullshit. They make everyone who wants to talk about men’s issues look like a bad guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:23 PM
1

Honestly, I liked what you were saying till your started acting like an incel and went to gynocentric society bullshit. Women normally don’t need to take responsibility for things. Also, when you call a guy a chad, you’re calling him a bad guy for being attractive. When you call a girl a Stacy, you’re objectifying her for being attractive. Listen, I agree with you on most of this, but honestly. If you’re part of trp or incel community, you’re a fricken problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:22 PM
1

There’s no “obviously using you”. Sometimes it’s not obvious. Guess what? We don’t take your stupid hints. We cannot read your mind Saying “nice guys put themselves out there to be used” is like saying women who wear revealing clothing are asking to be harassed or raped
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:18 PM

I 100% agree. I’m sick and tired of this shit
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/19 11:17 PM
1

No not at all. You can be friends and still find them attractive. It's totally possible. It doesn't mean you wanna date them. Platonic relationships just require no ROMANTIC attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/18 07:44 PM
3

I mean. That isn’t what I mean. I’ve been attracted to some of them sexually but I’d never enter a relationship with them. Just because you find them sexually attractive doesn’t mean you want to fuck em or be in a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/18 10:26 PM
3

Definitely. I'm tired of this "males and females cant be friends" thing. It's stupid. I have plenty of female friends who I'm not attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/18 08:26 PM

To be honest, I do value success in women. However, I want my future wife to work too. Or at least we should have an estate.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/18 02:35 AM

No, we more expect your expectations to be more similar to ours. I personally see girls’ expectations to be a little high, especially in highschool. Stuff like “he has to be the captain of the football team” and even from women “he has to be a teacher” or “he has to be a military man”. My expectations for women aren’t too high. I just want them to be my friend and be somewhat attractive. I’m a high schooler however so that may change. I just see women as getting their expectations from romance m…

Actually we do have periods, just not the pain. We have 33 day hormonal cycles similar to periods that make us more irritable.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/18 07:58 PM

It depends. In social situations, courtroom situations, and many others, being a woman is a lot easier. They normally get custody of their children, they get tons of alimony in divorce, they get less jailtime for the same crime as men, they can easily expect to get treated perfectly by a man in relationships without having to treat him the same, women can wear masculine clothing while men are judged for wearing feminine clothing. Also, men cannot defend himself against a woman who assaults him. …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/18 07:57 PM

That is really offensive and you are an apathetic asshole to think something like that
/r/MensRights30/10/18 10:44 PM
1

There’s a difference between gender and biological sex. Man and woman are genders while male and female are sexes
/r/MensRights30/10/18 06:21 PM
1

So do you mean you’re ok with it if she says she’s trans?
/r/MensRights30/10/18 05:28 PM
1

Wait so you mean you like trans women or you dont? Sorry I’m getting confused. i swear I’m not being sarcastic so I apologize if this sounds that way, I’m actually just wondering. Are you referring to trans women as women or men dressed as women?
/r/MensRights30/10/18 05:26 PM
2

That’s totally ok for you to believe. If you don’t feel comfortable having sex with them, that’s totally fine. Just don’t go around saying “I don’t date men”. Just calmly say “it makes me feel uncomfortable dating someone who used to identify as a man”. But referring to them as a man is what is transphobic. What is also rud is to refer to a straight man who dates trans women as gay. I’m not comfortable sleeping or dating a man who passes as a woman. But I am comfortable sleeping with a woman wit…
/r/MensRights30/10/18 04:47 PM
1

I’m not saying any of that. I meant to say that saying that fighting suicide isn’t important is hypocritical. I think it’s very important. And I never meant to deny sexuality. You simply don’t wanna be fucked in the ass. However, saying stuff like “I don’t date men” is kinda transphobic. Just say “I don’t wanna get fucked in the ass” or that you don’t like dick. But I do believe that gender and biological sex are different things.
/r/MensRights30/10/18 04:33 PM
1

That’s really offensive. Medical insurance can support what they want. We owe them our money because they provide FOR US. We’re paying for a service to help us, not taxes to the government, they’re totally different things. And last time I checked, this subreddit focuses on suicide in men A LOT. And just because you haven’t heard a fact a lot, doesn’t mean it’s not true. Also, it’s not a delusion. Gender is a social construct, not a biology.
/r/MensRights30/10/18 04:21 PM
0

Gender dysphoria is a psychiatric disorder. However it’s not because they feel like the opposite sex. Gender dysphoria is simply the DISCOMFORT they get. The treatment for said dysphoria is transition. Listen, “man” is not a biological sex. Also, this trans man seems to hate being told he’ll never be a real man https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-3KyZ4V8XIE.
/r/MensRights30/10/18 04:04 PM
2

Trans men generally find it offensive when people say that they’ll never be real men. And they are real men. This is because “man” is just a gender. Male is a sex while man is a gender.
/r/MensRights30/10/18 03:47 PM
2

As a full supporter of men’s rights, it’s really rude for you to attack trans men like that. This is besides the point. Trans men are just as much men as you or me and they suffer from discrimination too. In fact, they’re in need of our support. Plenty of radical feminists, these specific types are called turfs, exclude trans women from their rallies. Listen, trans men need our support too.
/r/MensRights30/10/18 03:16 PM

Radical feminists: men have always been super privileged Me: In Nazi Germany, Hitler targeted gay men in the holocaust but not lesbians
/r/MensRights27/10/18 11:04 PM
1

Nope. I’m not saying getting emotional is. I’m saying that being aggressive and tantrumy is. Listen, I love the men’s rights movement. But kavanaugh wasn’t falsely accused. Dr. Ford was very credible in what she said. Just because false rape accusations happen, doesn’t mean every case is falsely accused. However, we can’t know for sure until an investigation happens
/r/MensRights21/10/18 05:17 PM
0

She wasn’t lying. She was telling the truth. Kavanaugh wasn’t very credible. He was yelling and screaming throughout that entire testimony
/r/MensRights21/10/18 05:12 PM
-9

He’s right, kavanaugh only did what he did for power. Men aren’t sex-craving animals, kavanaugh is a shitty person who so happens to be a man too. People rape other people not for pleasure but because they feel they can. We are not animals and feminists need to accept that
/r/MensRights21/10/18 06:51 AM

Omg... I fucking hate girls who use this stupid excuse.. I’ve heard this so many times it makes me wanna shoot my self
/r/MensRights30/08/18 01:55 AM

Women only get negative comments from other women. The guy is right. Only a dumbass thinks like that woman. I don’t give the tiniest shit if she has to wear two different dresses
/r/MensRights11/08/18 10:55 PM
2

Thanks so much
/r/MensRights11/08/18 08:54 PM

You have a point there(and there are many dangers of the far right XD). We really need to be careful with religion. We need to uphold the first amendment also stating that there should not be the establishment of a religion. And things that cross the line such as harming people should not be tolerated. Also, remove “in god we trust” from the dollar bill
/r/MensRights04/08/18 10:06 PM
1

To be honest, I agree. And the thing is, I was raised Christian but was able to convert. I think teaching children about your religion is fine. But it is essential to make them learn that there are many other religions. I also agree with the state enforcing religious laws. But I believe that even Jews and circumcision is wrong. Circumcision should NOT happen unless there is a medical reason for it.
/r/MensRights04/08/18 09:54 PM

Religion is fine. We have freedom of religion in this country and that law is here to stay
/r/MensRights04/08/18 09:43 PM

I think we should try to teach these students English unless we can find a teacher who can speak their language
/r/MensRights04/08/18 07:06 PM

Yeah. The thing is, whenever I reference something like this to a woman when arguing about this stuff she always returns with “well that’s because women are awesome”. IM FUCKING TIRED OF THE ARGUMENT “women are awesome”

Well the thing is, we do need to take in some of those refugees.
/r/MensRights04/08/18 06:48 PM

Trump is harming our democracy, separating families at the border, discriminating against those of color, those who are Muslim, and is causing issues with other countries. He's also a narcissist. Listen, we need someone who is going to help our cause but also do things that are right. Trump is harming our democracy and trying to get above the law, this is NOT what we need in office.
/r/MensRights04/08/18 06:24 PM
1

Feminazis very much are winning. Listen, with Trump in office we have a man in office who supports sexist ideals which make males as a gender look bad.
/r/MensRights04/08/18 06:10 PM
-1

I'm gonna be honest, Trump was not a move in the right direction. Hillary I feel would have actually helped. I think we need a minority male. Like a trans male, a trans man in office who has been on both sides would understand it sucks. Trans women say the same. We need a trans person in office.
/r/MensRights04/08/18 06:09 PM

Dude, we shouldn’t chill and we haven’t done our parts. Making people aware is important but it’s time we start to send letters to the government and start to try to get the attention of the press
/r/MensRights04/08/18 03:43 AM

He’s fucking pathetic. If your girl cheats on you it’s HER fucking fault.
/r/MensRights29/07/18 04:18 AM

This is not about men being separate from women. This post is about what it’s like to be a middle school male and how some teachers have treated me and what they’ve let girls get away with
/r/MensRights20/07/18 08:46 PM

She didn’t need to talk to me to hurt me. Like I said, 43 kids in a grade is small as hell. Drama and gossip spread fast.
/r/MensRights20/07/18 06:33 PM

Well, it may be fake but it’s still true. Do you ever see a woman janitor? And if the janitor is a woman, she’s married to the other janitor who’s also male
/r/MensRights21/04/18 06:17 AM
1

This woman is great. I really appreciate it when real feminists do something. Plus, I don't always see the problem with manspreading. It's not sexual. It's very uncomfortable, having balls.
/r/MensRights29/01/18 12:55 AM
6

Exactly. Liberals think we're sexist and conservatives think we're winy and not doing anything.
/r/MensRights13/01/18 03:08 AM
8

Well, I'm a liberal but still believe in men's rights. Both parties fucking suck
/r/MensRights12/01/18 08:45 PM
3

This is dumb. Men are naturally stronger due to higher testosterone levels and are far more logical.
/r/MensRights12/01/18 08:44 PM
1

It really is sad. I just want these bullshit feminazis to cut the fucking crap.
/r/MensRights12/12/17 04:25 AM
2

I really appreciate this. "Feminism" is causing women and girls to want to pick on men. I really appreciate the girls who don't fall for that trap.
/r/MensRights12/12/17 02:07 AM

Well, there are quite a few out there.

From supportive women?

I treat them like everyone else. I'm only paying for dinner if I invited them out. Also, I'm a bisexual so I can just date men if women are too annoying.

Yeah. I also hate the "open the door for me" then when I open the door "WHAT, YOU THINK I CANT OPEN MY OWN DOORS!!?? YOURE SO SEXIST AND MYSOGYNISTIC!"

Well, there are women and men who believe in gender equality. I believe that both genders have oppression.

Those poor guys. This isn't ok. I'm sick and tired of feminazis. I'm tired of them telling young girls that they're feminists for hurting guys.

What the hell!? Tons of men are feminists(not the sexist ones). So, why ignore our needs?

I loved the old feminism. Which was equality between the two genders. Now it isn't.

Listen, I love this group and all; but I see nothing wrong with being transgender.

I've never really known much about r/incels or r/inceltears.

I hate how somehow it's ok to see a guy with his shirt off, but not a girl with a bra and some pants on.

That guy who responded is a genius.

Ok, that's plain pathetic. I didn't even know you could marry yourself anyway. She's probably one of those tumblr addicts who is a so-called "autosexual".

Yep. Though I will admit, females are really good androgynous models too.

Look at models. Women earn way more as models.

I hate girls like this...

Ok, I'm a traditionalist male and not MGTOW, but I can't stand girls like this! I only go for the girls who actually make sense.

Thanks for letting me know that. Because I was wondering if I could join MGTOW. I'm sure there are girls out there who don't play games or aren't cold to men who crush on them. I'm just tired of being told that us guys are always in the wrong.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
