But if the guy has 100 plus dates with women in a year or two. It’s not statically likely for any one of those women to land him. 1 will… 99 won’t. On the flip side, if he wants a relationship, he has near a 100% chance of finding one…. IF he wants one. And, there’s not much bragging rights for women to say they got a one night stand with a rich guy. I mean, again, I love casual dating and if it works for those women, great! But I’ve seen it often leads to disappointment for them, and never disa…

But then the same should be true for men, and it’s not. In the end, it’s the physical access that gave women a false hope.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 02:08 AM
2

Again………. I don’t care who they date and who they don’t. It’s observation. Not something I take personal offense to. I date just fine and don’t worry about those women. But LOL, ok now you’re either being intentionally dishonest or have a 3 person social circle. It’s extremely common especially in places like LA and OC. Mid tier women go on dates with high tier guys all the time out here. Just sit at any bar in Newport, Malibu, Laguna etc. and just observe. Of course those same men also have acc…

Why would women in SoCal not have average looks? Across 24 million people, average is average. It’s not like people born in one state are inherently more attractive. And I’m not referring to 19-21 YOs, I’m talking women deep into their 30s still “dating with intention” and have yet to have had any serious relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:51 AM

Delusional standard example (based on what I’ve seen): Average woman, 5’2-5’4 / 150-180lbs, average income, maybe has a roommate or lives at home still in her mid to late twenties. Travels and Dates men 30+ miles away in very HCOL area, and is treated to very expensive dates, nice car, nice house, possibly a boat trip, and sleeps with said man. Sent home, either same night or maybe the next morning. Refuses to further date men in her own income bracket or looks range going forward and truly beli…

So, you call it just men whining, but you’re acknowledging this type of conversation is out there at least. Women respond all the time defending their “high standards”. So, in essence, yes. There is a debate. This isn’t personal revenge fantasy and I couldn’t care less, as I stated in my first line of my post. Casual sex is awesome for men and women. I love it. It just seems in my personal experience of where I live, that maybe casual sex with high tier men contributes to extremely high standard…

But the delusion had to come from real life access in the first place. A “like” on IG isn’t going to create that level of delusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 12:15 AM
2

Wait, isn’t there an entire debate going on in the dating sphere right now about women having “delusional standards”? Why would I not relate personal experiences (and it’s not one, it’s many) to the online debate? “Not everyone in SoCal has a boat.” THATS EXACTLY THE POINT. The rich attractive men fuck around with all types of women leading many women, who have been fucked around with, to believe that is their caliber of relationship man.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 11:41 PM
1

Haha! Exactly. Average everyday experience. But I have extended family in the Midwest, South and lower east coast. And while it’s all beautiful, it’s just not the same. I’ll deal with the traffic.

No, by a population of 24 million people in Southern California. Many people here know rich, good looking guys have the pick of the litter from all over. Girls drive 2 hours to jump on a boat. Then wonder why they’re not married to a guy like that while still single in their 30s. The online portion just relates to many of our personal experiences. Just look at some of the other commenters from HCOL or Urban areas. It may not be as cut and dry and condensed as my post. But to pretend it’s just fa…

Yeah, like I said, not rich, and it’s brutal. Beautiful… fun…. But brutal. But overall yes, I don’t think I would move unless I had no other options. The best thing though, is that there’s never a shortage of something to do (if you like being out and about). Not sure where you’d be relocating from, but get ready for the worst traffic of your life also lol.

I guess, but it’s LA, IE, OC, SD Central Coast etc. Even the girls from IE and Palm Springs have these experiences. 24 million people isn’t exactly a bubble. I’m not strictly referring to the housewives and Spencer Pratt types.

Same can be said for men, who are either only engaging casually or walking away all together. If it doesn’t add value, leave it behind. Men aren’t the ones saying “stop wasting my time”. Even though women claim to be happier single, they are still the vast majority of the dating market who are “dating with intention”.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 10:35 PM

Just to clarify, I am not rich, or even close. But even many women in my social circles, even ones I’ve been with have had these experiences. I guess that’s why I felt the correlation to online arguments about “standards” and decided to create this post.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 10:27 PM
2

The guys are, yeah. That’s kind of the point of my post. The women, sometimes yes, sometimes very much no. Depends on who’s free that day I guess. Point is, average looking women are having this experience.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 10:25 PM

But is it though? If average looking women are going through this (at least here), what makes it less likely than an average woman experiencing it anywhere?

Apparently, based on these responses, I am the one out of touch. Because it’s absolutely reality here. The responses pretending like this is revenge fantasy are sending me 🤣🤣

That’s exactly what’s happened. And the top tier guys still get they wanted, as they always have. And more and more average people are walking away from dating.

I never denied anyone agency. Lmao wtf? I’m simply describing personal experiences from people in my social circles and relating it to the current online gender wars and how the effects of casual sex have impacted standards. How am I dehumanizing anybody? Stop trying to be a victim

Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, north county SD, South Bay LA. Just what I’m familiar with. But I would also assume, Miami and other beach areas?

Of course I came up with a very basic scenario, and it’s cheesy as hell. But yes, I’m with you as someone born and raised OC area in SoCal. It’s absolutely real life and I’m just relating it to the recent online content in the gender war sphere. I’m blown away by the responses that are just acting like it’s complete fantasy. Perhaps my post shouldn’t have been about the effects of this, but rather that it does happen all over.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 10:12 PM
2

Man, I guess I’m really out of touch with the rest of the world. These responses have me scratching my head. This is absolutely real life where I live. I’m relating my own personal experiences with people I know to the online content being seen out there today.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 10:10 PM
3

I guess based on the responses I am jaded. Because yes, this is real life all around in Southern California. I’ve personally seen fat women who can’t hold down a bf for longer than 6 months, keep bouncing through rich guys and getting fucked. All because their more attractive friend casually dated these types in the past. And guess who never ends up with any of these guys while these men continue to do the same shit well into their 40s? On more than one or two occasions. It is rampant here and d…

Fair enough. Maybe I’m jaded, but out here in SoCal beach territory, it’s absolutely insane. The delusion I see women have after going with their friends to Javier’s or Mastros then getting hit on and boned by some rich dude is off the charts. And it directly correlates with what I’ve seen in the gender wars online.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 10:00 PM
2

Post ain’t about me. I don’t have any issues, and I don’t have a boat lol. It’s in relation to pop culture and online rhetoric that so often refers to women’s increasingly demanding standards and not finding what they’re looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 09:58 PM
-2

Huh? Guys fuck down all the time. Why is it a guys problem that women all the sudden think they’re relationship material to these men?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 09:56 PM
-1

Maybe recently. But casual sex absolutely exploded after birth control and women’s sexual liberation from societal shame.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 09:55 PM
0

First, I don’t think “women bad” necessarily. I couldn’t care less about women having casual sex. I think more “it is what it is, how can I benefit from it”. Second, it absolutely is a thing. Maybe I’m jaded, but I’m in Southern California beach territory, and the amount of women (of all looks calibers) getting on boats with guys out here is unreal. And they are requested to bring their friends. So it’s absolutely happening. Third, I don’t watch any kind of streamers. The most I interact with an…

How would technology have done it alone? Women still needed real life access to top tier men.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/26 09:50 PM

But then that’s basically the red pill. They’re not some angelic creature that we should be grateful to even be around and idolize them. They aren’t special. They are the same disgusting fucks many men are, and we should act accordingly.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/25 02:20 PM

I mean sure, anyone can become a victim of anything at anytime. Still doesn’t make it statistically likely. Pretending like it’s a likelihood is delusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 05:12 PM
6

The “Chances” are absolutely not what you’re saying they are. If they were, popular hiking trails across the world with millions of men AND women on them every week wouldn’t be a thing. Odds are still low that a bear will randomly attack unless provoked, true. But, if you believe the odds are worse that a completely random stranger of a man will harm you, that is pure paranoia and delusion.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 02:25 PM

It doesn’t. It’s simply a comparison of what someone has experienced sexually. I’m not making the exact same comparison as OP, I’m saying the comparison I’m making is “no different” to attempt to relate to the people might not understand why a man would care about a woman’s past.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 10:31 PM

It’s no different than a woman not wanting to be with a man who has experimented with other men sexually in his past (even if he doesn’t anymore). Past matters to some people. And that’s ok.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 10:22 PM

It’s a joke from Eddie Murphy Raw stand up special way back in the day. But basically that, yeah, going to another place and bringing back a woman wouldn’t work because they would just become Americanized and be just like the other women here quickly.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 02:11 PM

Eddie, I’m American woman now. I want what’s coming to me. Eddie, I want half!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/25 01:55 PM

Gonna need some sources on how many men were “severely affected” by the federal funding pause. No, not how many people these programs serve… but how many people were actually negatively impacted. You keep demanding people give you sources but can’t seem to return sources of your own to back up your OP. We can debate once you have them. Until then, this is just another predictable Reddit TDS post. Yawn.

It’s wild to see the different tastes of what the people of PPD consider beautiful. And I’m saying that as someone who prefers her traits. Still a hard pass.

There is so much old lady cope in here. The fact is, it is harder to date younger, hotter women than it is to date older hot women, because the younger ones still have exponentially more options. Yes, older women still get attention. No one is saying they don’t. But the condescension of these ladies always makes me literally laugh out loud. “Oh sweetie”, “oh honey”, “no one my age will put up with that”. Ok, whatever helps you sleep at night. The young ones can still get what you can’t.

When we say “more direct”, most women always assume it’s only the difficult things they need to be more direct about, then say “well, I’m just being honest”, in disguise for being a bitch. But in reality, that’s a fraction of what we mean when we say more direct. More direct in ways like: Man: “What would you like to eat?” Woman: “A steak sounds good.” Not: “I don’t care, you pick.” (proceeds to not like the options the guy picks) Or… Man: “Hey Lucy, did you happen to finish that report?” Woman:…

My SO is unambiguously straight, so I would have more questions if she watched porn that is focused on women. But, to answer your question, no I do not have an issue with that. But, if I am being honest, (like most modern relationships) I am the one with the higher libido. I would never reject her or prefer porn to her. So I am always available. If I was not available though, I would have no issue with her indulging with her vibe.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 07:51 AM

No. I would be done. As she should be with me if I fucked another woman. What’s your point?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 07:45 AM

On a scale of: things that are addictive and extremely unhealthy for certain individuals. Those things should be avoided. For the rest of the healthy population, things are fine in moderation.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 07:20 AM

Has everything to do with insecurity. People with this attitude are akin to those on r/loveafterporn . An insane circlejerk that promotes tracking everything your partner does as a form of control instead of just leaving them. If people have a standard of zero porn in their relationship, there is nothing wrong with that. If there are people who are mutually okay with porn in their relationship, there is also nothing wrong with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 07:19 AM
7

Yes, for people who aren’t insecure, masturbation including fantasizing with visual or mental stimulation is normal. Addiction to the point of the relationship interference is not normal. There is a massive difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 06:57 AM

It’s not necessary to have a healthy relationship. Addiction and insecurity are two completely different problems.

Large penises can absolutely cause tearing and bleeding on vaginas even when fully aroused. You are 100% biologically wrong. Vaginas, internally and the external hole vary in size from woman to woman just like any other muscle, organ or body part on any human body. Women do not all have the same size and able vaginas.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 05:36 PM
2

Ok? You’re factually and biologically wrong. A quick Google search asking “do vagina sizes vary?” will tell you that also. No, not all vaginas are equal in size. Many, many women tear and/or need episiotomies during childbirth, even at premature sizes. Others can deliver 8-9 lb babies with no issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 05:14 PM
0

Many, including the episiotomy that was done on my ex’s vagina when my premature daughter was born. You keep saying biology then insisting that all vaginas are capable of stretching extreme amounts and not accepting the fact that vaginas come in various sizes. You are factually wrong. A quick google search of “do vagina sizes vary?” would tell you that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 05:11 PM
3

So vaginas never tear or bleed from large penises and all vaginal openings are the same size. Got it, thank you for the very informative lesson in biology.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 05:00 PM
-2

You’re awfully defensive about holes being different sizes. Google image search isn’t that hard. Some vaginal holes are smaller than others. Vaginas vary in size. I don’t agree with OP that anyone should be shamed for it, but to say that all vaginas can be like Riley Reid’s is… fucking insanity lol. Not sure how else to mansplain it to you. If you are insisting that all vaginal openings and/or canals are the same size, you are the one ignoring biology.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 05:00 PM
-2

No, that’s literally not true. Some penises make women tear and bleed. And that same penis may be fine for other women. By definition, those women have a larger vagina to handle that very large penis. If birth is your argument, then thank you for proving my point. Many, many women tear and/or need episiotomies during childbirth, even at premature sizes. The hole is literally too small, and these are not uncommon scenarios. Others can handle giving birth to 8-9 lb babies vaginally with no issues.…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 04:42 PM
2

I don’t have a poor understanding of what it is. Some women cannot fit it. Some women bleed and some even tear, because the hole is literally too small. And majority of women do not take big penises well, and it is not preferred because their vagina cannot handle it. (See average dildo size purchase and self reported surveys for reference) You are trying to do mental gymnastics into insisting average vaginas can still handle large penises. This does not seem to be true, hence why size queens are…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 04:23 PM
0

I don’t know. I’m simply pointing out that vaginas vary in size. And majority of women are not size queens because it hurts them. So I’d say that whatever most womens size is that prevents them for being able to physically handle, those women would be average. If you’d like to find measurement statistics to verify your claim that the minority of women who are size queens have an actual average sized vagina, be my guest.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 03:29 PM
1

I literally replied to it. Just because it stretches does not negate the fact that many women cannot physically fit very large penises. There are men who are actively rejected because they are too large for those women.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 03:20 PM
0

This isn’t true. There are countless women who cannot take a big dick. It literally does not fit. So, by definition, you have a larger vagina than those women. There’s nothing wrong with that, you shouldn’t be shamed for it and I don’t even agree with OP. But, to pretend like vaginas don’t vary in size is ridiculous. Head on over to bigdickproblems if you don’t believe me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 03:17 PM
6

“I’m a nice guy” Proceeds to be an absolute dickface in the comments to people trying answer his question.
/r/seduction07/10/24 09:11 PM
1

Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive. Majority of women would rather have a high value man than be alone. Or at least happy to have a HVM validate them and satisfy a sexual urge, even if the woman remains “single”. Majority of men would rather have a beautiful woman…. Than anything really. But it doesn’t negate the fact that OPs implied narrative that women would be happiest being celibate and away from men altogether, is just downright wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/24 06:38 PM
-2

Wait, so your argument is women are happiest when completely celibate?? LMFAO yeah, no. Women love men. Just not chumps. which, unfortunately, seems to be more and more prevalent by generation.

So then it’s normalized for every person on the planet, not women. And specifically more for men. What are you not understanding about this? I don’t know how else to explain that OPs original assertion was factually incorrect.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 02:46 PM

It doesn’t. We should care. I’m pointing out OP is factually, and by definition, incorrect when they state “violence against women is normalized”.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/24 02:44 PM
9

I never said women were accountable for the violence against men. I’m pointing out violence is much more “normalized” than it is against women. Therefore, since men and women make up all people, then all violence is “normalized”. The word implies that it’s more accepted for one group than it is the other. Either it’s accepted for people as a whole, not at all, or it’s violence against men that has been “normalized”. But it’s certainly hasn’t been against women. It’s an emotional statement that i…

Men are FAR more likely to be victims of violence (even though it is at the hands of other men). So by your own metric of “widespread and common”, then violence towards men is far more normalized than it is against women.

There’s nothing unreasonable about saying that the wedding industry is still very well alive and targeted primarily towards women, in marketing and popular culture, while still acknowledging that marriage rates are decreasing. But okay, bye.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 08:00 PM
-1

It’s not bogus. I know all marriage is on the decline, but that doesn’t mean it’s not booming still and primarily driven by women. If obesity were to finally start trending down, that wouldn’t mean people still aren’t fat as fuck. My point was that if “women” as a majority are more okay with being single than with a man, then they wouldn’t continue to be the ones harping for marriage and children and complaining about non committal men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 07:51 PM
1

…okay? I’m not disagreeing with any of that. Add lack of vasopressin to the list then. But less testosterone leading to a less masculine physical stature, less status seeking and less competitiveness (to use your two examples), absolutely less to less socialization and less attention from women which contributes heavily to male loneliness. What is your argument?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 06:35 PM
1

Sure, but that doesn’t negate the fact that less testosterone can absolutely does have an effect on male loneliness. Like I said, Less attraction and attention from women (due to a less masculine physical stature) may not be the only cause of loneliness, but it certainly is part of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 06:24 PM
1

No, I’m not looking for that. Lack of attraction contributes to the loneliness epidemic. I didn’t say it was all of it. The other things I listed cover why men have less male friendships as well. Testosterone increases muscle mass, bone density and various masculine behaviors. Women are not attracted to less of these things. Very simple. And men as a whole have less testosterone than their fathers who had less than their fathers also.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 06:18 PM
-3

I’m okay with this stance if most women truly felt this way forever. But the wedding industry is still booming, even after COVID. It’s all talk. And we still constantly see posts like “why is he not proposing?” or comments like “shit or get off the pot” from women everywhere. Let us guys keep having the casual relationships they claim to be okay with and stop pressuring for marriage and children.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 06:09 PM
1

Less testosterone, less masculinity, less confidence, too much screen time / video games and not enough social interaction, and being misinformed and inexperienced with women. None of these are women’s faults. Men have the power to revert these things and be just as successful as ever. Women are trying gain more control in society and relationships (perhaps rightfully so depending on your stance), but for most males that attempt to conform to this new western society, there will be a cost.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/24 06:03 PM

You’re conflating “disgusting” and “low value”. I don’t know of any men who think promiscuous women are disgusting, yet still sleep with them. They are the group of men who you refer to in the last line of your post who would answer “I don’t”. The other men who say “low value” mean in terms of a relationship or commitment, but would gladly still have fun with these women and sleep with them. For the record, I am neither. I am unusual in the fact that N count does not deter me in casual relations…

So essentially you understand exactly what guys are saying here, you just have an issue with the verbiage and this entire post was pretty much pointless. Hot women are still hot, regardless if they are high enough value for a relationship or not, according to TRP. You’re right bro, rich people definitely don’t use tax breaks and personal corporations. They just pay standard income taxes at 50% 😂😂 /s It is absolutely not illegal to claim nanny expenses (not necessarily salary) as business losses. Any smart wealth individual, will set themselves up as an employer to the nanny, limiting liability and tax burdens, just like any other business. Any profits can after the employee is paid will be issued to the owner of the LLC as a K1 come tax time. Not to menti…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 02:48 PM
1

Ok first, yes that’s exactly how taxes work. Most wealthy people, especially in those tax brackets, have personal corporations set up. But if they hire a nanny, they 100% become an employer with an employee. Likely filing as an LLC to prevent being sued personally, all nanny expenses become deductible. And no, still no where near 150k. I owned a small automotive business as an LLC, and we only had a few full time employees. And none of them were anywhere close six figure total packages including…
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 02:33 PM
1

I understand that, but it’s gross pay. So even if it was 150k, that’s before the nanny is taxed personally. That would still leave you with an additional 100k of income… it doesn’t negate the 250k income. Not to mention, nannies can be had for much less than 80k gross for full time (not live in). Your entire premise is flawed though even if you DO negate the 250k salary, since 1M is far more than enough to pay an employee 80k a year.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/24 02:06 PM
2

What fuckin nanny costs 250k pre tax? Lmao Or even 150k? Most full time nannies, are nowhere near a six figure income (unless they are live in). And you could easily get 60+ hours a week for full child rearing and house cleaning for less than 70k-80k a year from most middle aged female nannies. As a matter of fact, most of them would probably leap at an opportunity like that, especially immigrants. A lot of us guys get off on sexual degradation when it comes to women. Why can’t those guys enjoy being the products of degradation?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 05:44 AM

Who said anything about legislation? And no, I don’t tell anyone to “shut up”. But yeah, it’s still a ridiculous thing to try and save a grown adult (especially one in their 20s) from their own decisions. Older women who try and save young women from being promiscuous fall into the same category. It’s cringe. These are fully grown women by their early 20s. They can do as they please. And many, many women live to never regret being in age gap relationships. And that’s an awful comparison, because…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/23 01:03 AM

I’m simply stating the difference between older men “creeping” and an actual relationship. This argument always seems to break down when people act like women in their early 20s don’t have any agency. They have the agency to sleep around, but when they willingly enter into a relationship with a much older man, suddenly they’re victims? Lastly, bad example. Don’t sign the fucking loan.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 10:45 PM

But this post isn’t about older men “creeping”. This about relationships, between two consenting adults. Why do women always sidestep the conversation and/or try to intentionally conflate those two very different things?

Yes. We aren’t drafted or fighting in horrendous wars as much as previous generations.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 03:33 AM

I suppose that’s true. The deviations matter a lot. And probably wouldn’t even be able to be proven given all the variables (how many inches difference, race, facial attractiveness, actual level of fitness etc.). I guess I was just agreeing that fitness can overpower height in terms of attractiveness between two separate individuals. But you’re right, I don’t actually agree with OPs title.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/23 06:45 PM

Too short cannot be compensated for. But a very fit 5’10 will undoubtedly pull far more women than a skinny-fat/dad bod 6’1. And it’s not even close. Now if the 6’1 becomes fit, that’s a much different story. But OP has a reasonable point.

Not necessarily. Plenty of white collar women love blue collar, specifically because they aren’t white collar men. If you include first responders as blue collar, then even more women are attracted to blue collar men, especially office women. Anecdotal source: Current LTR is a firm senior accountant, and most of her friends and female colleagues are either with blue collar or first responders, or searching for the like. The only time they hunt for high level executives is when it’s about money.

Chill lol, I wasn’t giving you a hard time. Just saying they’re two different things. If you don’t like a guy as much as he likes you, or vice versa, but you still like each other and have some level of attraction towards each other, I wouldn’t see an issue with that. But IMO, nobody should stay with people they aren’t attracted to, or knowing their partner isn’t attracted to them. Whether it’s repulsion or just not showing attraction, either way I don’t think people should be together.

You kinda implied two different scenarios. Who likes who more, or flat being repulsed by someone. Those are very different things. I’m a man, but similar to you. Your reference is anecdotal and not backed up by research. In my case, most of the men I know are happiest single and dating casually or on their own. But that does not equate to most men (or most women in your example). You and I know outliers, not the majority. I’m not digging my heels in anything, if the research shows women are happier unmarried than married, then I’ll reference that. But that isn’t the case currently. Men and women both continuously survey happier married than single.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 10:01 PM
1

Of course, there all types of people out there. There is not a one size fits all approach to anything in life. But it’s not the average or the majority. The order of life satisfaction is generally married men (happiest), married women, single women, single men (least happy). Just because some people deviate from this satisfaction rank doesn’t make my statement any less true for the majority. (Ex. Men/women who are happiest when single, women/men who are least happy when married)
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 09:53 PM
-1

That doesn’t change any of what I said. The implied narrative most often discussed is that women are happier single and independent of men as a whole. And that’s not the truth.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 04:29 PM
2

But it’s not implied. The implied narrative is that women are happier single and independent of men as a whole. This is not true. Majority of women would rather be in a fulfilling relationship. But they settle for being happier single than with a low value / shitty guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 04:20 PM
5

Sure, I will agree that could be the case. Especially for lower tier men. If the only access they have to sex (even infrequent sex) is a bad relationship, those men will accept those conditions rather than be alone with no sex. But it still doesn’t change the inaccuracy of the statement: “women are happier single”.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 04:09 PM
9

You would think. But no, it isn’t. There’s an implied narrative that exists that women are happier single and independent of men as a whole. This isn’t true. It’s almost never mentioned that these women would still rather be with or build a family with a great partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/23 03:22 PM

I’m not disagreeing with any of that. As a straight man, I don’t date men, but I’ve heard terrible experiences from the type of men that are available to women. If I was a woman, I’d probably be happier on my own as well. I was just pointing out that the claim that “women are happier single” isn’t entirely true. Not sure if I follow who you’re referring to. I often see that misogynists who genuinely hate women are the same as incels. These are the guys I’m referring to. Guys who sleep with women repeatedly but don’t respect them, definitely aren’t gay and aren’t inherently misogynists. I’ve never seen this group of guys hate on women. They just don’t respect them. Why would anyone intentionally go against their sexual orientation and sleep with the opposite sex instead of just abstaining?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 09:38 PM

That’s definitely not men in general. First, most men don’t get all the sex they want. Thats a very small subset of high SMV men. And second, I’ve never known them to hate the women. They tend to be pretty happy and confident and don’t waste time putting women down. They just sleep with them and leave. Maybe your experience differs. They also hate on men who are with these women, or men who live the life they never could. It doesn’t have to do with sexual orientation, but rather an envy towards these men/women. Women aren’t bitter towards men in general, true. It’s usually a bitterness towards one man specifically, or a jealousy for other women who are with …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 09:15 PM

Definitely not gay. Almost all comments from guys like that are bitterness from guys who aren’t getting any or can’t get any. They’re just attempting to knock down someone else to make themselves feel better. A symptom of an unhappy person that’s as old as time. I’m not attracted to the woman you posted at all, however I can see why many men would be. No reason to leave negative comments other than bitterness. I wouldn’t overthink it.

You asked a question, but then after your 2nd paragraph you had an entire diatribe of what you think is wrong with men. First, you think RP men really want “a stable, loving, deep, exciting relationship with a woman, but they can’t get it.” Why would you ask your question then assume this? No, I’m saying they are not equal. Equal. That’s the key word. No narrative, just the observable truth. Fair enough. My examples aren’t precisely equal (even though they are much more realistic examples of changes in behavior to acquire something, than your example was, considering women aren’t attracted to domestic abusers - but I digress). But my point still stands that changing your behavior to acquire something you want does not make it your entire identity. But on that note, even if it was …

Domestic abusers ≠ dark triad type men or toxic masculinity. Literally, false equivalence. Okay, so women are attracted to dark triad traits. Got it. Wanting something and behaving in a way to obtain or achieve it does not make it your entire identity. If I want a motorcycle, and stop buying certain things to save my earnings for a motorcycle, that does not make the motorcycle my entire identity.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/23 01:56 AM

No, it is a false equivalence and bad comparison. Narcissism is dark triad. No clue if that’s their entire identity. I’m not them. But if that’s how they can achieve attracting multiple women, then they should, because it works.

You’re answering with a hypothetical that is neither part of the question or observable in the real world (whether anecdotal or studied). Women are not attracted to domestic abusers, so stop deflecting. “It’s not what women go for” - Perhaps in your experience. Many of us men are starting to and it’s awesome. The ones who don’t have options are either MGTOW or looking into becoming passport bros. The ones of us who have options date multiple women if we feel like it, until we don’t feel like it anymore. It’s a baseless moral “feeling”. No reason behind it. If she’s attracted and feels safe, there’s literally no logical reason why she shouldn’t sleep with him. First date or tenth. Anything that happens after is nobody else’s business. Holding out for the sake of holding out just to have false sense of moral superiority over herself is not logical.

I’m not saying she doesn’t have a right to feel that way. Anyone can do what they want. It just doesn’t logically make sense
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 04:10 PM

Of course. I understand the danger aspect. But I’m talking outside of that… women who wait, just to wait. For moral reasons or waiting for a relationship. I don’t understand it, and there is no logical reason for it. Might as well just have sex, and see where it goes after. If it doesn’t work out, nothing lost.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/23 02:25 PM
-5

Why not just sleep with him? and if it doesn’t work out, it doesn’t work out. I’ve never understood why women are so terrified of being “used” for sex. If they’re attracted to him and they’re comfortable, there’s literally no logical reason to wait and it’s not “being used”, it’s consensual. What happens after shouldn’t have to do with the actual deed in the first place.

Definitely not equal. Women are still attracted to looks. But a man’s status, wealth and personality/confidence go a lot further for women than it does for men. There are countless examples of this, so I’m not even really sure how this is debatable. Look at Jelly Roll for example. His wife is a very high SMV female. Whether you say she’s a gold digger or status seeker etc, is irrelevant. She’s attracted to him and that lifestyle that is afforded. The same is almost never true in reverse. Some gu…

Sure, I can understand that. But some of us actually don’t care. Just because you don’t understand it, doesn’t mean there aren’t people like that. I would agree that most men (maybe even close to all) don’t feel this way. But the world is filled with all types of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 08:32 PM

Lol, not bang on. Not even close. I said it because there’s no way you’re going to believe me either way. So why argue that? It’s futile. I understood Patrice perfectly. Back to the same quote for the third time: “why would I give a fuck about what she can give away for free?” But the funny thing is, It’s always the same thing when I share my viewpoint on this subject here. Dudes come in raging, upset and start trying to name call and/or say I’m full of shit. Why does it bother you guys so much …
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 08:24 PM

I mean, okay. You can think whatever you want about me. Definitely not accurate, but I can’t stop you from believing whatever you want to believe. Not sure if you’ve listened to The Black Philip show, but those 12 episodes were near gospel for me. So yes, I’m very familiar with his feelings on swinging. Nah “chief”, I’m not. That’s a stretch to try and link those two. And he didn’t enjoy it. He believed it was necessary for him to be able get his own needs met. He would say things about his self esteem, but He never said the reason he let her do that was out of insecurity. He would say “why would I give a shit about what she can give away for free?”. Which is exactly how I feel. I literally just don’t care if a chick has had more dick before me. Who cares what she can give away for free? It too…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 07:52 PM

Fair enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 07:01 PM

Generally speaking, no. Not with most women (even though I am in a relationship at the moment). But my usual lack of commitment wouldn’t stem from a body count. I would marry a ho if marriage was something valued. But it’s not, and I don’t see the value in marriage for men. I just wouldn’t take body count into consideration for marriage. Unless…. She was a virgin. Then i definitely wouldn’t marry her. I think guys underestimate the damage womens FOMO can do to a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/23 06:55 PM

Gonna have a real r/ihavesex moment right now but…. I have plenty of options, and not only do I not mind if a chick is a ho, but I actually prefer it over a virgin or super low body count. (Much like Patrice O’Neal) prudes, shy chicks and inexperienced women give me the “ick” (to use a woman’s term). I’m not afraid of a ho’s past and don’t let anything like that hold power over me. And furthermore, it gives me validation when I know they’re pining after me, even after being with other high SMV g…

I like this take from OP. Sometimes I think TRP makes it seem like most young western women are just out getting gangbanged and sucking dick in public restrooms. I think this is far from the truth. But, I do believe most young women (excluding religious) have had a high SMV guy or two in their past who they’ve justified as just seeing casually because she’s “working on herself” or “it’s not the right time”. The reality is she’ll willfully ignore that he is likely seeing multiple women at the sam…

It wasn’t the right example, but the sentiment was on point. OP should have said “expecting men to solely provide financially and/or romantically” (Valentine’s Day, paying for all dates, vacations etc.). And OP would be correct in this comparison. A woman who expects to be a SAHM or have everything financially provided for her, should expect to provide other things (laundry, cooking, cleaning etc.) in return. It’s either sexist in both directions, or not at all.

I have been with, and been friends with, many promiscuous women over years. It’s very common where I’m at (California coast). This is not an accurate assumption at all. Most women won’t judge a guy by his previous sexual experience with women. If he’s a virgin, it’s probably because he lacks social skills, is unattractive etc. and that would be the reason they wouldn’t want to sleep with (or even be friends with) him. Virginity wouldn’t be an issue. Correlation does not equal causation. HOWEVER,…

Yes, through movies that many women relate to (“Mean Girls”, “The House Bunny”, “Legally Blonde” etc.). Movies are just movies and reality TV is mostly garbage I understand that. But, there is a reason they are so relatable to so many women. Yes, I have seen this far more among platonic female friends and gfs than I have among my male friends and peers. What TRP are you referring to? They may call women out on their double standards of expectations. But, TRP (or any of the above) doesn’t coddle any man into thinking fat broke losers should be getting women… they’re usually the first to call those guys out.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/23 10:55 PM

It doesn’t necessarily. And it’s not meant to in itself. It’s just the harsh truth some men aren’t self aware of. The real world doesn’t care if things are unfair or women have double standards in what they expect of men. If men want results, they are responsible for the change to bring those results. And, competent and confident men don’t treat each other like shit, at least not to the extent that women treat each other. Insecure and weak men do though.

Of course, but my point is it’s still an option for a woman not to become a mother. Once she is pregnant, the man does NOT have the option to not be responsible for that child. There is no opt-out for men, and there should be. As long as abortion exists, child support should be voluntary. This is the only equitable solution to pregnancy and deciding to become a parent, full stop. Obviously this will never happen, so men need to be even more cautious than women about who they have sex and what pr…

I brought that into the mix because men have far less options for birth control compared to women. We have condoms, vasectomy and abstinence. And only one of those is 100% effective. (Obviously, male BC would not be 100% effective either, but it would be an additional layer of protection.) Women have far more decision making power in becoming and remaining pregnant, and child-rearing. From abortions, the pill, the shot, condoms, plan b, all the way up to abstinence. So my point remains… if men (…

Ok sure. And I agree… but that wasn’t the question posed by OP (almost surely a “gotcha” question). And my answer still stands…. Yes, I’d absolutely take a male BC pill if one was available. But being as I already have a child, I’d probably just opt for a vasectomy.

Not sure what you’re getting at, but yes, I’ve communicating with partners as well. I have a child with my ex wife.. and while it wasn’t planned, we weren’t exactly surprised due to the circumstances (our lack of responsibility). Of all the other partners I’ve had, I’ve magically (/s) avoided getting them pregnant… whether they were on birth control or not. If male birth control was readily available, I’d absolutely take it.

Not sure what you’re trying to say exactly. But my point is that good looking, fit, wealthy and socially and mentally well adjusted men can commit to almost whatever age or type woman they want. They don’t have to wait for a woman to be “ready”. They can be with a woman who wants marriage and family at a younger age, because he has that option.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 02:09 AM

….. exactly my point. Desirable men, who women want to settle down with, are the ones not committing if they don’t want to (and “stringing women along”). They are doing this because it is easier than ever to do so. If women really believe the sentiment of the OP, then noncommittal relationships and not being married to these desirable men shouldn’t be a problem and we shouldn’t hear the complaints of noncommittal anymore then. I’m not saying the men who want marriage are wedding early. They aren’t. They wed when they want to, and who they want to. That’s my whole point. So men are, on average, already two years older than their female counterparts (31 to 29). But this includes that undesirable group of men who had to wait because they had no other option. The most desirable men can wed whatever age women they want. And, if they don’t want to at all, they won’t. And it’s never been easier for a desirable man to escape …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 12:49 AM

That’s my point though. You can read my long reply to the other commenter.. but I’ll boil it down. Desirable men with options will exercise those options. If he wants to marry a 25 year old when he’s 35, he can. If is not as desirable, he may have no choice but to wait for the woman he will marry once she’s “ready”. The longer women wait, the less desirable options they have. Desirable men have a much longer time frame to choose from a much wider (younger) age range. And if he doesn’t desire set…

If that’s case, then fantastic! There shouldn’t be a debate on this topic then and we should cease to hear complaints about the men that won’t settle down or are “stringing her along”. Feminism and sexual liberation have been a massive benefit for desirable men.

Unfortunately for majority of women though, your experience doesn’t represent historical reproductive success or the biological imperative. It is true that women are no longer marrying men they don’t like out of necessity… and rightfully so. They shouldn’t be. This is something positive feminism accomplished. But, this does NOT equate to women never wanting to get married at all. Women still want men. It’s just that testosterone and masculinity are dwindling and most men are not worth bothering …

I agree with everything you’ve said…. Kind of. Just don’t go complaining when men don’t want to settle down once you’re ready. So many young women preach exactly what you are preaching here, but then complain that men are not committing like they used to. I say great, let us men have more uncommitted sex than we ever have in recent history. Just don’t complain about it later… after all, this is exactly what feminism has pushed for.

Mostly red here, but this is exactly why I don’t agree with pursuing virgins or super low n count women. FOMO can do just as much damage as a whore mentality. It all comes down to the person and how much she respects and values you as a man, not necessarily her past.

Sure, but that’s not what OP was implying. He said “women” as an aggregate. And “high tier” when referring to men. It makes perfect sense when you look at places like FDS, or society overall, where the mentality is that they are all queens who deserve a HVM. But they aren’t. You can’t. That’s my whole point of this post. Women being attracted to fame, status and wealth is peak red pill. And, the portrayal of men in even “blue pulled” media or pop culture isn’t really so at all. Women are attracted to fame, status, wealth, arrogance and confidence, ability to get other women, disagreeableness, physical attractiveness, strength and so many other masculine traits. They are not attracted to nice, subservient men who are told to just be themselves. Not even in the most p…

I do. And I am not referring to the men in these roles being red pilled themselves. I am saying the characters they portray only solidify red pill theory, and that the blue bill doesn’t even really exist (even where this sub wants it to exist). BP truly is fantasy, and only in the mind. The red pill is reality… and that reality extends into successful media, even if society thinks it shouldn’t.

Idk about the Harry Styles in a dress thing.. But the fact that everyone you mentioned is famous, fit, conventionally attractive (face shape etc.) and extremely wealthy (in real life, not as a character in one of the movies I’m referring to), proves red pill theory even further. Sure, they may have some more feminine features than say, the Rock. But fame, confidence, wealth and fitness are masculine traits. None of them are overweight shut ins who are being told they will be successful at dating…

True, but I don’t think these men are considered attractive by anyone except a very small subset of women. They aren’t meant to be. Their roles are written and casted with the intent of being funny, usually at their own expense.

Lmao, yikes. What about this made you so upset? imagine the butthurt you’d have to have to jump to draw such personal conclusions about someone you don’t even know at all. I do just fine, thank you. Where did I ever come off as butthurt? lol This is a RP/BP philosophy sub, and I was pointing out an observation I made about popular culture relating to exactly that.

What? That’s literally what the red pill is about. Bettering yourself to become more masculine and independent, and breaking away from what women in popular culture have told men to strive for since they were young boys. No, blue pill isn’t just about shy, virgin boys. But, if that movie were to be made, it would absolutely be considered BP by this sub. But there is a reason it doesn’t really exist and least on a popular level. The feminized man has no place in society. Only to be subservient to…

Haha fair point. But to add to that.. what these shut ins often forget is that characters like Neo still had massive balls and confidence. He was physically fit and, he stood his ground and fought when the time was appropriate. He may have been a “nerd”, but was still masculine in every sense of the word.

You’re generalizing a very small subset of disillusioned and bitter men with your “shitty with women” comment. There are plenty of well adjusted post-red pill rage men out there. If that is your view, then there is nothing to debate, because you don’t fundamentally understand what traits make a man masculine. The point is, almost no popular media characterizes men as attractive when they are feminine (as many feminists would have you believe (in my opinion, as a power grab in society only, not b…

I’m not referring to human behavior. I’m referring to what this sub refers to as blue pill behavior when they try to give examples of it. It’s not even accurate within the confines of PPD. The main point is, the characterization of men in media, even blue pill examples in this sub, are actually overwhelmingly masculine and align with red pill ideology.

I agree
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 08:07 PM

Haven’t seen most of those movies, but fair point on Zombieland. However, that is in the vast minority of movies made for men. I only mentioned movies made for women because that is usually what is thought of as blue pilled content. Most movies made for men are hyper masculine and are unquestionably more red pilled: 007, almost any of the Rock’s movies, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 07:52 PM
1

I know it’s only an ideology here in our corner of the internet. What I am saying is that what we project as blue pill in real life, isn’t actually that at all. Characterization of men in popular culture is still very red pilled (our corner-of-the-internet’s term) despite what feminization of culture has led us to believe.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 07:09 PM

I mean sure, we can debate his beta behavior vs his actual masculine traits (tall, muscular and strong physical laborer, unafraid of adventure/danger etc), but it really wouldn’t change the outcome or the premise of the movie, whether he was completely beta or even if he was dark triad. The movie was based around Anna and Elsa.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 07:04 PM

Of course, in the real world, there isn’t really such classification. I thought that went without saying. I’m speaking in the language of this sub. Popular culture is still very red pilled when it comes to the characterization of men… even in Disney.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 06:59 PM

The overall premise of the movie is based on sisterhood and not needing a man to save a woman. Both Hans and Christoff are both still masculine, however it really is irrelevant being that it’s not a love story between man and woman.

I didn’t say he “thinks” she wanted it. She did want it (in this scenario), for money. She’s not interested in him, per se, but she is interested in the money sex brings her. So they both engage happily.

I always feel like this mentality, or just guys in general who try so hard to convince others that this is true, just can’t date or get laid and this is a comforting cop out for them. I don’t know a any guy in my social circle that would rather have to go through what our fathers and grandfathers went through. Lol no. You listen to who’s been successful in what you desire to be successful in. In this case, that’s other men. You’re right, it can be hard, and many men don’t want to put in the effort. But it’s not what women are always saying they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 03:44 AM

The analogy stands. I seriously doubt your relationship building experience in sales. You certainly don’t listen, then “use their own words against them” to maintain clientele relationships long term lol. You get to know the client and sell them what they are actually looking for, not what they “ask” for. That was the whole point of this post. But it is what it is. Take care.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 03:09 AM

Well then, guess we’ll just have to agree to disagree. Men can listen to you, and keep directly listening to only what women tell them, and keep failing!

I mean, depends what you define as luxury. I don’t. But Acura is marketed as luxury also LOL. You didn’t specify what you did in sales and still haven’t specified if you carry clientele relationships either. Even if it’s “luxury jewelry” (fixed that for you, by the way) in a stand alone jeweler, it’s likely very much the same type of sales tactics unless you’re building relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 02:59 AM
1

Okay, sure. I’ll agree with that. And by that measure, all successful men “listen” to women I suppose. What they don’t do (nor do successful salespeople do), is hear “I want….”, then proceed to give the requestor exactly what they ask for without having knowledge of how to sell themselves first. I think you’re missing the overall point of the post. It is not to ignore what women say. You should absolutely know your customer. But you should also know that much of the time, customers don’t even re…

That sounds like shopping mall sales techniques in America, which is exactly what I was referring to. There is almost zero clientele relationships in that. It is quick upselling techniques. If you’re outside of that realm and in distribution with clients who you’ve built relationships with, then that’s great. But I still stand beside my points.

Success is subjective. I’m not talking about my personal desires. If a man’s goal is to be married and have a family, he should emulate other men who have successfully done so. If a man wants frivolous sex with as many women as possible, he should emulate other men who have successfully done so. You don’t have to be so bitter about it. You do realize there are many women who enjoy being single with copious amounts of casual sex as well, right? But either way, both come down to emulating other me…

Precisely. I made a mistake by not mentioning that in my post. TRP is good for those who know how to implement, but I was specifically talking about first hand examples of other successful men. I also believe PUA is garbage.

Your first three examples literally became millionaires off their sales techniques (as are many others on that list). Not to mention you completely making my point in your last paragraph. I never once argued for morality in my post. LOL so much for destroying my logic.

I am skilled in high end wine and spirit sales, both from a wholesaler perspective AND a retailer perspective. But thanks for the advice lol Our “skilled man” responder is talking about telecommunication upselling techniques akin to what you’d see at a swap meet lmfao. Not sales relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 01:24 AM

I couldn’t agree with you more. You are 100% correct. I should have specified in my post that I am talking about men who are verifiably successful with women on a personal level, or through your own experience. Not online scam artists.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 01:15 AM
3

Who’s complaining? In no way do I complain about my lack of dates on here lol. It’s a relationship discussion forum. And, yes. I get to know the women I date… but I don’t exclusively listen to what they say they want. I learned this from other successful men when I was young. “Listen to what they do, not what they say” is incredibly accurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 01:09 AM
6

Interesting take. But incorrect. I do just fine. But that didn’t come from solely listening to women tell me what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 01:00 AM

Success is subjective. That is successful to the man who wants to be married. To a man that wants frivolous sex from multiple women, the married man does not define success.

This is assuming all wealthy people are lottery winners. Sure that would be terrible to take advice from them. But that’s not the case. 80% of millionaires in America are first generation and did not inherit their wealth. They are financially savvy people would should be listened to. If the successful men are already getting what they desire, what do they need to listen to (regardless it’s being the best husband, father or fuckboi)? A man should emulate other men who are successful at what he desires success in.

I’m not talking about telecom upselling lol (even though my point still applies, despite your sidetracking). I’m talking about building relationships with clientele, similar to relationships. Sure, every man should be able to listen to women. But it should be a skill among a plethora of factors that constru…

I think people are getting confused with the sales analogy by conflating “listening” and “getting to know”. The best salespeople get to know their customers. They don’t just listen to them say “I want…” then proceed to give them exactly that. They wouldn’t be in sales for long if that were the case. Same goes for men dating women. The most successful men know what women want better than women know what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 12:18 AM
4

Lol no. The best salespeople are more knowledgeable than their customers, and can therefore know what is best for their customers (even more than the customers themselves). There are many different facets to learning about a customer. But any salesperson that hears a customer say “I want…”, then proceeds to sell them that based on that alone, is a shitty salesperson. Same goes for women. Any man that hears women say “I want…” then proceeds to do exactly that, based on that alone, is not going to…

From what I’ve seen in relationship advice forums, they’re pretty awful at husband advice as well. ”I did everything she asked and she still cheated and/or filed for divorce!” How many times have we seen those threads?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 12:09 AM
8

The best salespeople know what the customers want more than the customers themselves. They determine it from many, many factors. Not by listening the customer say: “I want this…”. That was the point of the analogy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/22 12:04 AM

Yes actually. For high end wine and spirits. But that’s beside the point of this post, and I’m not going to debate sales techniques here. If you don’t like the analogy, fair enough. Use the fishing analogy instead then (or one of the other million analogies).

Listening is important in all aspects of life. But listening to the sales professionals is what’s it’s important. If it happens to overlap with what benefits the customer (and it often will), then that’s great. But listening to the customer does not cause direct success with sales. Knowing how to sell does.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/22 11:32 PM

Just because it isn’t always love (prostitution, casual sex) doesn’t mean that it is never love. It absolutely can be a form of love, hence “making love”. You had me, until you said “nothing to do with love, intimacy, or affection”. That’s just flat out denial, lying or both. If you’re saying sex is not the only form of intimacy, you’re correct. If you’re saying it isn’t at all, that’s just wrong. Relationships should derive their intimacy from multiple sources, one of those does include sex though. Firstly, it’s about $400 for a marriage license and courthouse ceremony where I’m at. But regardless of that, the average wedding cost is $28,000 in America. AVERAGE. It has to be taken into account because not everyone might be like you and I doing things the most cost effective way possible. Fair enough, maybe non western countries still have a valid reason for state involved marriage that I don’t understand. And you’re correct marriage doesn’t necessarily mean wedding. But average is average for a reason, and $28,000 is the average cost of a wedding in America. I point that out, because many women (here in the west) would never accept a proposal with a $400 courthouse wedding, so realistically it has to be taken into account when we talk about the cost of marriage.

Of course, and I’m actually on board with religious marriage. Even if an atheist adopted the lifestyle for the one they loved and married a Christian, Muslim etc. within their respective institutions. I would even participate in that myself. No. Marriage means nothing to me, especially emotionally. There may be an argument for legal benefits but even that’s marginal. It does not represent how I feel about someone or how they feel about me. A healthy loving relationship does not need marriage to ascend it to the next level.

Most agreements can be discarded if you really wanted to. But the only time you’d actually want to discard them, is in the event of separation or death, which is exactly what they were intended for anyway. Divorce costs thousands, even in financially equal relationships. If what you’re saying was true, then we’d be able to leave without consequence, marriage or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 10:29 PM

Ah okay, that makes more sense haha. Very true. But average is average for a reason. Ask how many women who want to get married, would be okay with a courthouse wedding for $400?

Except when I decide to terminate our business agreement, I don’t get to keep portions of your income and wealth because I didn’t like the way it was working out… unlike marriage. Apples and oranges

“Wedding=marriage” Huh? I’m saying that taking your own route with certain legal agreements and less risk, is far cheaper than having an average wedding.

What you’re saying is true. We have documents for those things because we DONT trust the people who sold us our cars and homes, because we don’t know them. Some of them would likely clean us out of all of our financial worth if we didn’t have those documents. Furthermore, once I terminate those agreements, I don’t get to penalize the institutions by taking more of their wealth just because my asset might not have worked out the way I’d hoped. It is my loss and mine to deal with. If marriage work…

All the legal rights (other than tax breaks) can be handled far cheaper and much easier than planning the average American wedding ($28,000), AND without the risk of the cost of dissolution.

I misunderstood you, sorry. I thought you were saying trusting people would lead to psychological disorders later in life. But even with that rare caveat, everyone should be able to stand on their own two feet.

So if the team is equal why should one partner NOT be able to leave without consequence? Are you saying that marriage is basically forced security to stay or pay?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 09:51 PM

No, my opinion is not irrelevant, because I have been married. It might be a viewpoint you do not agree with, but it is not irrelevant. Interdependency can be managed perfectly fine without marriage, at least in healthy relationships. And unhealthy relationships should be terminated (an unrealistic expectation across the board, I know, but should be is the key). And trust causing psychological trauma is probably valid but not a solid enough reason for marriage. The fact is, many civilized societ…

Everything you’ve said is both true and has nothing to do with marriage. What you’ve said has actually made my point that the “shit or get off the pot” mentality is outdated and there is no reason for it anymore. Women do not need provisions from men any more, and they can date and have sex with who they please. If the relationship is standing on its own merit and is a very healthy relationship, There is no reason to get the state involved anymore. It’s not rocket science.

Agreement does not mean legal marriage. It means an agreement. I make agreements with my daughter, my friends and extended family all the time. I’m not married to any of them, and I trust them to uphold their end of the bargain. My only point is that major decisions should only be made with the utmost trust, and it shouldn’t require a legal document to do that (having kids, moving cities etc.). If you can’t trust to do those things with them without the forcible penalties associated with the dis…

That’s great for them then. They would probably agree with me on marriage. But it still seems like this comes for many, many women (not all of course) after asking those commitment questions first (FDS types etc.). As in, they’re only happy to be on their own because they’re not putting up with chumps anymore. But is it what they really want? So that still begs my question then, why is “shit or get off the pot” still a thing?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 08:50 PM

Oh okay, I see what you’re saying and I agree. Certainty about exclusivity is important to many people, myself included, so at least we know to see others or not. But I still don’t agree that marriage needs to be involved for any of this. However, best of luck to you.

But that’s exactly what I’m saying, you don’t go and risk all that then, just for the sake of “feelings”. Or if you do, make sure you have a plan out of it. Why should they be on the hook for you giving up your career? If you don’t want to give it up, don’t. They can make every sacrifice just as easily as you can. It would be no different if you were single and switched cities to start a new career, which ended up not working out. Nobody would be responsible for you then, and nobody should be re…

/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 08:33 PM

I’m saying that marrying only for a tax break, is shallow. At least if people would admit that, then the whole transaction might be more honest. But even then, the contract that gives a tax break should not include so much penalty for leaving it (for either party). Risk is assumed in a relationship and mitigating that risk through threat of a costly divorce, is wrong. But even everything else you’ve mentioned, is manageable through the individuals’ power of attorney.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 08:29 PM

But they don’t need to put up with that if they’re not interested in marriage either. They can provide for themselves and get sex or a relationship whenever they want and that has nothing to do with the forced security of marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 08:22 PM

That’s a Bingo! The real reason for women is: HVM>single>LVM. So I don’t believe my examples of contradictions to be coming from different women. But I believe they at two different points in time. The pompous attitude is when they have no HVM (at least more valuable than them) and being a “boss” is better than being with a chump. And the insecurity comes from they’ve found him and can’t get him to stick around .

I’m sorry, yes. I’m speaking in terms of legal marriage. Religious marriage I can actually understand, and would even participate in, if it meant a lot to my partner and her faith. But, only within the confines of that institution. there would be no logical reason for me to involve additional risk by involving the state.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:56 PM

Ideally? All of them. Realistically? Almost none of them. That’s why I included the part to men. No man, or woman for that matter, should be dependent on another person.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:53 PM
3

Maybe or maybe not, who knows. But the government should not be involved at all. If women can provide for themselves, there is zero reason for us men to legally bind extra provisions to her. We can be equals (if that’s what she really wants) without a contract. Hint: that’s not what they really want though
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:42 PM

Fair enough. I don’t agree, but that’s why we’re here. It’s not uncertain if two people are on the same page, marriage or not. Making it harder to get out does not make it more certain.

Meh. It’s okay. I’m used to it and actually pretty grateful for PPD. We don’t get to have these discussions in many other places, so I’ll take it. Oh I’ve definitely noticed it. Especially with progressive women here, which is exactly why this was posed as a CMV and not a question or discussion. But if I hear a genuinely good argument for the government to be involved in their personal lives, I’ll listen.

First, I am responding to you. The only reason why risk is mentioned because it is the risk of the relationship ending, not the relationship continuing. You would only want to protect your assets and finances if it ended. The only real way to mitigate that risk is by forced security or threats. Someone who stays because it might cost them a lot to leave, is no longer in a genuine relationship. Second, no that is not an appropriate analogy. Wanting a logical reason to get married (a massive life decision), does not require autism. I love now and have loved many times in the past. But I am not blinded by it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:12 PM
3

Right, so you make those decisions based on trust and assume the risk. Same as if you were to move cities or switch careers on your own. If not, then you end the relationship and don’t move. Or they don’t have to move either. You don’t mitigate risk through threats or forced security. The attitude of “marriage should make it harder to leave” is horrendous in my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:08 PM
1

Hm, interesting but incorrect assumption. I have made the mistake of being married and am happily divorced. And as for debate… give me a good enough reason to change my view, and I will. Not feelings. Reason. Until then, it is my POV that marriage is not reasonable, especially now that majority of women in the western world can provide for themselves. (Which is what caused my question why so many women are in distress about non committal partners still).
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 07:05 PM
2

I’m not sure what you want to hear. My post was very clear about how I feel. My views on women being hypocritical and marriage being bad for everyone aren’t mutually exclusive beliefs. And both my points were stated very clearly in my post, so I’m not sure how else to help you.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:59 PM

It’s literally a CMV post.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:54 PM
2

If I have time to waste like that sure, I will show you. Hypocrisy aside, none of that gives any good logical reason for legal marriage. Religious? Sure, within that institution. But not legal. A healthy relationship sure as shit doesn’t require it, and legal decisions can still be made and even tailored to every couples needs, independently. There is zero reason for forced security.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:52 PM
6

I agree with all of what you’ve said except the last part. And none of those things require an antiquated ceremony or a legally binding contract. In a healthy relationship, those things are done through communication, compromise and respect.

They’re pathetic too
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:34 PM

Well I’m basing of a group of generally progressive women (on Reddit) and somehow these both seem to come up quite often. And that still doesn’t provide any good logical reason for marriage other than how someone “feels”.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:26 PM
2

Okay, well then tell that the modern women around here who tout that there is no reason for them to be married nowadays and all the benefit is with the men. The “shit or get off the pot” almost never comes from men. And beside that, there is still no good logical reason to get married other than how someone “feels” about it (usually the woman).
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 06:24 PM

But being a family doesn’t require legal marriage, only having a loving healthy relationship does. If it a religious reason, that is one that actually makes sense. But then there would only be a need to do it within that institution, and not the state.

I found it laughable when “Sex/Life” on Netflix came out followed by its immediate popularity with women. Same with “Call Her Daddy”. Then they still try to claim “It’s not like that in reality!” or “That’s not what women really want!”. HA! Watch what they do, not what they say.

It isn’t limited though. Socialization is how relationships have come to be for almost all of human history (excluding tyrants, rape etc.). People who tried to rely on internet mediums as an alternative to dating are the ones who are limited. Dating requires social skill regardless of internet or not. I agree that it might have made a small portion of the dating market even smaller. But I wouldn’t say it has made it significantly more difficult to date across the board. Putting up with being single because it’s better than being with a chump ≠ being happy because they’re single. That’s one of the biggest misconceptions around the dating market today in my observation. It’s simply not worth the hassle for many women today, which stems from dwindling masculinity among men. Look around… “where are all the good men at?” Is still an abundant mindset in todays world, because the innate and instinctual desire for most women to find a provider who is masculine is still…

Then a few 3-5 month flings in her first couple years. And a year long bf-ish. Then a few more 3-5 month flings. Exactly. People don’t understand how virgins and non sexually active people bring these averages down. Also, I think you’re spot on with the 10-12. People saying 3,4 or 5 here are out of their minds… probably talking about religious students still living with their parents… not the norm. A few women are racking up 30-50+ in their college years. A few women stay virgins. A good chunk probably have a few hookups or short term FWBs and a few bfs. 10-15 is probably pretty close to the norm nowadays.

In my experience most women are like you. I was just curious as to why. Most men, I’ve noticed, wouldn’t be bothered if their SO told them they didn’t care if he cheated on her. Most men wouldn’t feel unloved by her indifference, and the shitty ones would probably just be happy to have a pass. They definitely don’t share the same need to have their partner be slightly jealous or possessive over them. I’ve never understood why there is a difference in the two sexes on this subject.

No I’m curious. Some have already answered that it doesn’t bother them. For the ones it does bother, I’m trying to find out why. For most of us men, if our SOs told us they didn’t care if we cheated (knowing that they weren’t cheating), we wouldn’t care or feel less loved. As a matter of fact, I’d be willing to bet most guys in here would take it and run with it.

Not necessarily happy. Just unfazed by your hypothetical cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 09:04 PM

Hypothetically speaking, let’s say it’s neither of those situations… he actually doesn’t care about you sleeping with someone else. He might leave you based on principle or feeling disrespected, or he might be cool and suggest an open relationship. But in either of these situations, he doesn’t care about you physically being with another man, and experiences ZERO jealousy. Would you feel unloved?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 09:00 PM

Well let’s say he does dump you simply out of respect for himself or principle…. But you find out he’s just as happy the following day as he was before he found out. Would this bother you? On the flip side, do you think men in polyamorous relationships experience love?

Very nice! I find it to be rare these days that a woman is okay with his viewpoint. Personally I’ll leave a relationship just based on the lying/disrespect aspect cheating, not because of hurt feelings though. But most of the women I’ve talked to or been with say they’d feel hurt of their partner didn’t care if they cheated. Somehow they placed value on a man wanting to go to bat for them.

If anything, and if these women are being honest, it’s the opposite of what people might think as a TRP “gotcha” question. So far it seems the myth of the alpha widow is being dispelled. Of course, only a few have answered so far and/or they could be lying to themselves and PPD. But I certainly wasn’t looking for a “gotcha”. Example: “See, told you toxic exes alpha widowed all you women” type of mentality. I wasn’t going for that.

This is exactly how I feel also, except as a man. People think that I’m saying there’s no comparison or competition because I must believe PIV is superior, or women are inferior sexual partners… but that’s not the case at all. I just view them as COMPLETELY different sexual experiences, so there is no competition or threat in my eyes.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/22 12:43 AM

I literally said one is not better than the other and never claimed PIV to be superior. And why throw in the bit about bi women preferring sex with women? It seems like you’re bothered that a lot of us aren’t threatened by same sex affairs. I literally do not care what type of woman on woman sex happens in the world, including if my gf were to participate in it and cum 100x harder than with me. It does not bother me, and I don’t feel emasculated or degraded by it. I’m Not delegitimizing anyones …

Good question, never really thought about the point at which I’d be less threatened. But an unusable or non existent penis pretty much removes the male sexual experience.

I’m not at all. Lesbian relationships are just as legitimate to me as hetero relationships. It just doesn’t strike jealousy in me at all, because sex with a woman and sex with a man are completely different things. There is no competition. Some women are into women more than men, and that’s 100% valid. Those women aren’t for me. And, if my gf is one of those, she can go and be happy with another woman. To your first point, that is not true. I view same sex relationships as equivalent, just not the sex. I take gay/lesbian married couples just as serious as I take straight married couples. However, with sex, I do not feel any jealousy thinking about my SO with another woman. It certainly isn’t cucking, because that would require some degree of me feeling degraded or emasculated. I’m not discussing porn. I have opinions on it as well, but it is an entirely different topic and has absolutely nothing to do with the friend zone. Porn has nothing to do with it, because nobody is being exploited in the friendzone (like in porn). Stop diverting to other topics. I don’t understand why this is so complex for you. If someone is not getting their needs met in ANY relationship (platonic, romantic, business), they have every right (and should) remove themselves from the situation. No one is being exploited in the friend zone. Make your intentions clear, and if the feeling is not reciprocated, remove yourself from the situation. Simple. The truth is, guys who are friend zoned do not actually want friendship. They want more than that. So they’re being dishonest to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 05:42 PM
3

Friendzoning is 100% the fault of the person who wants more (usually the man). It is our responsibility to leave that situation. Want to know why I’ve never been in the friend zone my entire life? Not because every woman I was into, got with me…. But because I refused to only be friends with them if I wanted more.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 04:21 PM

No it’s selfish to insist on someone else’s friendship towards you, when they are clearly uncomfortable and want more than friendship. A man removing himself from the friend zone (100% his fault for even being there), is the least selfish thing for all parties involved.

If that were true, the tv “Sex/Life” wouldn’t be so relatable and popular for so many women. They eventually leave the non-marriageable men, for more stable partners somewhere in their late 20s / early 30s. The insistence that they’re happy and made the right choice lasts around 7 years… then 70% of them file for divorce when they can’t convince themselves any longer that the sad sack of shit they married, was the right one.

You’re making this about me and/or males. Visit r/deadbedrooms and you’ll see just as many women in this predicament. You aren’t being consistent. If sex is so important thats is LIFELONG DEVOTION, then both parties should do everything they can to commit to that devotion right? Okay, so he shouldn’t treat her like a bang maid, I agree. But, going by your own logic of “it shouldn’t matter whether you have sex or not”, then what is the problem if the person who is feeling neglected of sex gets it somewhere else? The LL partner should have no problem with this if they don’t see sex as important or valuable to the relationship. It’s either important… or it’s not.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/22 10:25 PM

That’s pretty aggressive. So, a partner (male OR female) who is not having their sexual needs met, is an uncontrollable dog and doesn’t understand that sex is not important in a relationship? And, if it is not important (as you’re implying), then why does it matter if it happens with someone else then? Please help me understand.

This is exactly what I was getting at.. Sex isn’t a need? LOL you literally wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for sex. I agree… leaving should be the first option if a compromise can’t be reached. But many of these LL partners don’t want a divorce either! They want commitment and little to no sex. The sex deprived partner should leave, yes. But many times it is not that simple, especially when there are children, finances, properties and families involved. No, it’s not abuse to not have sex with your partner. Nobody should be forced to take action in something they don’t want. It’s abuse to not have sex with them, deny them of intimacy AND simultaneously demand that they stay faithful to you and demand they deny themselves of that intimacy because you don’t want a divorce either. That is absolutely a form of emotional abuse. If sex is unwanted from one partner, there’s no harm there. Let the other partner fulfill their intimate needs elsewhere. Wh…

Ok great… so it’s not a big deal if we find it elsewhere then. Thank you for agreeing. And…. That’s a lot of assumptions. Kind of hilarious… Why can’t people (not just porn consuming males) want sex and value it as part of their daily lives? Visit the DB sub.. you’ll find many women who are frustrated as well and don’t want to cheat, but are very close.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/22 05:30 AM

Not having sex with your partner who is 100% committed to you and only you is ABSOLUTELY a hurtful action……….. this is what the LL’s always fail to understand in DBs. You cannot deprive someone of a basic emotional and intimate need, and tell them they can’t find it elsewhere or their only option is to leave the relationship they’ve invested in. That is 100% abuse. (And I already mentioned we are talking about circumstances outside of medical issues, like cancer)

If it doesn’t have that much value.. then it’s not a big deal if we find it somewhere else. Open the relationship and we can talk about it over dinner, like our work days. It’s either valuable to a relationship or it’s not. Which one is it?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/22 05:19 AM

Okay, so exactly my point then… if you agreed to be monogamous (I.e. only have sex with each other and fulfill those needs), then you could argue that the person not upholding their end of the bargain is cheating, being unfaithful or practicing infidelity. Either sex is something that can break a relationship, or it isn’t. If not having it can’t break the relationship, then having it somewhere else can’t break it either. …And consenting to being choked is not physical abuse. I choke my gf all th…

Infidelity or unfaithfulness implies dishonesty. Physical abuse is never okay, honest or not. Sex with multiple people can be acceptable in an honest context. I agree 100%. And I eventually did also and wish I would have done it years sooner. But it’s rarely that simple, especially when children, property, and a split finances are involved. To your last point… I agree, a man child will dry a woman up faster than anything. But In a more equal scenario, why is it the man’s responsibility to ensure a woman maintains her sexual function in the relationship? If he can come home from a 12 hour blue collar work day, clean up after himself and still desire his wife physically, then she should pull her weight in the relationship and figure out why she can’t uphold her physical portion of a “monogamous relationship”. I already said I think existing children should have CS. I’m talking strictly decisions about financial responsibility while abortion is still a viable option. That’s it. That’s OP’s whole point. She DOES have the ability to get out of the responsibility, via abortion. If the man opts out while abortion is still a viable option, and she chooses to proceed with the pregnancy anyway (knowing full well she will be a single parent), then she should 100% be financially responsible for the child. Okay then, there is no room for complaint of what you’re saying is true. This thread shouldn’t even exist if men can just accept this and move on. If they can’t accept it, find someone else. Either way these posts grow old really fast with me. Men who complain that their woman won’t do things with them that their gf enthusiastically did with previous partners, are immature and spineless. They should either leave, or understand that “we are far from a utopia” and forgive that their woman was more…

Not at all. Tragic scenarios happen all the time and I would love to be someone to help if I can. But being with someone because you feel sorry for their past trauma helps no one. Have your standards in a relationship/sexual partnership and keep them. Period.

No, I’m really not missing anything. This argument only comes from men who are being settled for and not getting what they want in the bedroom, only to find out that their gf had enthusiastic sex with someone else. If someone is not getting what they want, they should leave. I wouldn’t be hurt or jealous is my girls ex shit on her chest. I’d be grossed out, and probably not wanna hear about it. But not jealous or hurt in the slightest. If she doesn’t satisfy me in the bedroom, I’ll find someone …

You’re rambling again. If a man is set on what he wants, this is a non issue. I do not date girls who do not give blowjobs. If the reason she doesn’t give blowjobs is because her creepy uncle SA’d her (horrible scenario) or because she decided after getting facials from her college ex wasn’t her thing, it doesn’t matter. I don’t date them. Because I love getting oral, and giving oral. Both deal breakers for me if they’re not met. Ffs, how is this even an argument?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 06:05 AM
1

So then she shouldn’t date him if that is her standard. No different. I still don’t understand how any of this is up for debate. If you want anal, and the girl you’re dating doesn’t do it, find someone else. If it’s not a deal breaker, then it shouldn’t be a problem that she did it with someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 06:02 AM

Still… his fault. If it’s not “all” he looking for in a relationship, then he should be able to look past it. No? Then leave. This is not complicated at all. There are lots of women who don’t give blowjobs. That’s completely okay. But I don’t date them. It doesn’t matter if they let their ex give them messy facials. It really is completely irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 05:59 AM

No, I’m replying to you. I still don’t get what you are trying to prove. A man should NOT be in a relationship with a woman where he is not being fulfilled sexually. It doesn’t matter what’s she’s done with someone else. Why is this complicated? I don’t understand…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 05:46 AM

I read all of it. You just babbled on as to why men should accept women for who they are, regardless of past indiscretions, for societal approval. Not only does that have very little to do with the original topic at hand, but it does not negate what I’ve pointed out at all. If a man is not getting what he wants sexually, he should leave. What his partner has done in the past is of no consequence to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 05:36 AM
-2

No. You’re way overthinking and overstating it. It is not complicated at all. If a man is not getting what he desires, it is on him to leave and find it elsewhere. That’s it. Doesn’t matter what current woman does or did with someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 05:16 AM

I mean…. I guess I could give it a try, and see if I’m into it or not. Then when she says no and her ex sends me a clip of them doing it, I could dump her! Yay!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 03:30 AM
4

It’s really not complicated at all. If he’s not getting what he wants in bed, leave. If he’s willing to stay with a prude at his own expense, then that’s his own sacrifice, regardless of how she treated her ex. Moral of the story: if you want blowjobs, don’t stay with a chick who won’t blow you. /thread
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:46 AM
4

No.. it only became an issue FOR HIM, later when the creep sent the videos. 100% his fault for not setting up expectations from the beginning. If my girls ex sent a video of him pissing on her face… I’d be grossed out probably, but not at all bothered by it, because I have no desire to piss on her face. And if I did.. I would have done it. And if she said no, I would’ve left… regardless of what her ex did. I don’t understand why this is such a hot topic for guys unless their borderline incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:37 AM

Okay well then that’s sorry ass Billy Betas fault. Not hers. If he wants something, he needs to grow some balls and make it known. And if those needs aren’t met, leave. Sick of the woe-is-me crowd from the men who aren’t getting what they want in the bedroom. Almost as bad as FDS
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:30 AM
6

Okay… who cares if she’s done any of those things? If he wants them, and it’s a dealbreaker then he needs to decide that. If he wants head or anal, and isn’t getting it, find someone new. It’s really not complicated. It doesn’t need to be about past actions.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:23 AM
45

Exactly.. I don’t understand this retroactive jealousy mindset. If she’s not blowing you, and you want blowjobs (regardless if she did them to exes or not), dump her. You’re not compatible. Find someone who will blow you. This doesn’t seem that complex.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:18 AM

Does this really happen outside of Reddit?? I mean, I get minor things. But I’ve never been sexually unfulfilled with a girl that actually wants to have sex with me, and neither have any of my buddies (who aren’t Chads either). People usually get what they want sexually, unless it’s the extreme. If anything, women are far more unsatisfied on a regular basis. If I saw a video of my gf getting pissed on by her ex, it wouldn’t do anything to me… because well… I have no desire to piss on her.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/22 01:15 AM

It really isn’t that difficult though. Yes, it is true that we don’t have it as easy as women. But don’t be awkward or overweight and have a decent social circle and you will find a partner. It really isn’t as hard as some of the “i” words want you to believe it is.

As Patrice O’Neal put it:”she’s not a woman, she’s my mother.” “If I were to sit down with any of the men my mother dated, they’d tell me the same thing: your mother ain’t shit.. she’s a asshole!… and then we could have a conversation.” Pretty much sums it up. A mothers love for her son is the not the same as they way women conditionally love men romantically.

I mean, I don’t understand what you’re so a upset about lol. I’m just telling you how it works around here. If it’s different there, cool. No need to get so defensive about it. Most attractive women around here have been through college and/or a serious party phase if they didn’t get wifed up early and have kids. That’s just reality. Accounting firms, law firms, high end real estate agencies and hospitals around here are loaded with sluts, who are eventually wifed up my their male-slut counterpa…

I’m just telling you what has been my experience of living where I live and how I live. It’s entirely possible it’s different where and how you live. But being as open as I am has red pilled me far more than being cheated on or any forum could teach. Listening to women get comfortable, (whether it be dates/casual sex partners or platonic friends) and open up about how they act with men, is eye opening. Being a fly on the wall really will have to see what life for what it really is.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 08:13 PM
1

And like I replied to the other used, this just doesn’t represent reality. High status men often wife up a woman who has previously dated other high status men, sometimes even in their own social circle. I.e. luxury real estate, accounting firms, Wall Street, media and show business etc. Almost none of those men are going after the cute church going girl next door who would make a good mom. They often marry previous hoes because of their looks.

If men lie about their standards, it’s very likely a woman who thinks a man will care, will lie also. This isn’t rocket science.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 08:02 PM

Not really. I’d say most high status guys end up wifing down some hoes. They’re not scared or intimidated by past men. Just look around Hollywood, Orange County, New York, Chicago. Women will date multiple high status men, even in the same social circles then one finally marries her. It’s no secret she’s been around… It’s not like the guys with beach houses, penthouses and boats are finally settling down with the church going girl next door who is cute and would make a good mom. I mean… whatever helps you sleep at night. But here in SoCal, the wealthy, fit guys I know by the beach are bedding scores of women. And they almost never care about her sexual past. It’s all about her looks and somewhat about her personality. If they’re not considered attractive, then I don’t know what is. Guess I just live in a slutty place where people are more relaxed.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 07:11 PM

I’m not asking why you’re successful with women. I’m asking where all the double standard guys like you are hiding in the real world? Almost every guy I know who is successful with women where I live, cares very little about her sexual past (excluding OF, prostitution, porn). I’ve never met a guy in real life that beds dozens or hundreds of women and cares if his gf/wife used to be a hoe or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 07:05 PM

No offense, but where do you guys all hide in the real world? This seems to be an online type of personality only. The male friends and peers I know in the real world who have had a verifiably extensive list of women partners, care very little. I’ve yet to meet any man with the double standard mindset that TRP spews constantly. But of course this is anecdotal, and my experience in Southern California. True to an extent. But I haven’t seen them be as harsh or strict with their boundaries as the opposite. I think they are more generous with low n-count people than low n-count people are with promiscuous people.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 06:48 PM

IME, N-count only matters to those who have low counts. Male or female. And I don’t mean that as a pejorative statement. People who’ve slept with more than just a few people seem to care less and less.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 06:20 PM

She is helping. Men need to expand their social circles. It’s not complicated. Whether or not a guy wants to elevate himself to be attractive or not and have at least some social presence can only be changed by himself.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 05:50 PM

I’m with you. Majority of women I have dated, and most of my peers who have dated multiple people have all met through mutual friends/coworkers etc. there’s been a few online dating or cold approach outliers, sure. But IME that’s almost always nothing more than casual sex or a few dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 05:47 PM

Sure thing. Except what women respond to and what they say they want are almost always different in the real world. I’ll stick to what works in attracting and keeping women around… and that rarely involves courting or being a nice guy.

That’s my whole point. If a heavy guy and a slim guy both have a 7” inch penis (bone pressed), but the slim guy has 6.5” non bone pressed (0.5” fat pad) and the heavy guy has 5.5” non bone pressed (1.5” fat pad), she is seeing, touching and sucking a bigger penis on the slimmer guy. I truly believe that men who have rigid boundaries like “more than 3 is too many”, are just very insecure at the end of the day (because I know guys just like this). They are concerned that she’s probably had a bigger dick, or more orgasms with someone else. They’re scared of the chances they won’t be the best. But that is thinking like a male… all about cumming. Once men learn to understand how women truly think and what they are really attracted to (along with being good in bed obviously), a n…

Lmfao what?? “If she ain’t had at least 18 dicks in her mouth she ain’t for me!!” -Patrice O’Neal … and I couldn’t agree with him more. I love women who don’t wait, are experienced and are down. As he says “hoe’ing them up” or “hoe’ing them down”. But I think what separates guys like Patrice (like me) and TRP is that we understand a woman’s behavior in a relationship stems from our mentality, not her previous dick count. He always preached that men really need to do away with the “can’t turn a h…

Just out of curiosity, would this feeling also include men who are significantly and noticeably stronger/more muscular than you (even if they are a similar height)? Or is it height only? Just wondering if it’s feeling vulnerable in general or if it’s specifically height related..

What? When did I say estrogen didn’t matter? Of course it also drives libido, but it is not nearly as potent of a hormone as testosterone…. In pretty much every aspect of life, testosterone exaggerates behavior far more than estrogen does. From violent tendencies and aggression to risk taking… and yes, SEX DRIVE. A woman with high estrogen still isn’t even comparable to a man with high testosterone. They are by no means at all, equal but opposite. There is no such thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/21 12:49 AM

I don’t even know how this is debatable. It’s in the actual science lol. Men produce 15x-20x more testosterone than women ON AVERAGE. Testosterone is one of the (if not the only) primary hormone influencing sex drive. It doesn’t mean women can’t have high sex drives, and yes, there are some very horny women out there. But on average, it’s not even close… and it hardly has to do with children. The same people who spout this probably also believe natal females stand as much of a chance in a weight…

Meh, fair enough. You’re right, OP is wrong. We wouldn’t be “fine” even if it was only 10% of the workforce that disappeared tomorrow… regardless of gender (like you said). Just pointing out that the burden of upholding societal structure is not equal. As a man, I’m fine with it and not complaining…. just thought it should be pointed out with some of the arguments being made in this thread.

Okay, I was only addressing your reply about going back in time. None of that changes the fact that men are far more necessary in upholding societal structure than women are.

I’m not arguing things wouldn’t be a shit show. They would, and many people would be miserable and some would die unnecessarily (due to healthcare). But the world as a whole could recover. Society would literally collapse without men though. That’s the difference.

You mean with men doing the hunting and providing shelter while the women took on social and family responsibilities? lol Yeah, we could go back to that with men still being absolutely necessary to a functioning society.

Online dating is such a crap comparison and I don’t see how people keep bringing it up. /r/PurplePillDebate03/10/21 05:27 PM

My point for either show has nothing to do with the actors. It’s about the millions of women who eat this bullshit up (either show). It’s like a man being obsessed with car shows, then turning off the TV and saying “I hate cars, they’re such a waste of time”. Watch what they do, not what they say

The bachelorette is also marketed to and consumed by almost exclusively women. It’s just a variation of fantasy. Instead of fantasizing about competing for Chad, they can fantasize about being chased by many Chads. It says nothing about men because men don’t consume it.

No real point other than it’s women consuming this and fantasizing about this garbage. It’s not the RP revenge fantasy that PPD females make it seem like it is. They say they want a nice man who will take care of them, then they eat this shit up. No different than Titanic… women genuinely thought the idea of true love story was about a chick who got boned on a boat for a week, and stayed in love with the guy… then kept it a secret from everyone including from her husband and family for 84 years.…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/21 12:53 AM

Huh? That’s exactly what I said… if it’s “anymore” or any extended period of time with the intention of getting me to change. I’m getting it elsewhere.. If she stays or goes it doesn’t matter cuz I wasn’t getting it anyway. It’s been my point the whole time referring to the OP. The women agreeing to withholding sex in attempt to get the guy to change his mind don’t have a right to be upset when he cheats.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/21 12:31 AM
0

No, I don’t. If she’s disgusted temporarily, that’s fine. I’ll give her space then we can discuss like adults. If she’s “disgusted” weeks on end in attempt to get me to change my mind about something (like a child)… I’m getting pussy somewhere else. And she can deal with it or leave
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 11:49 PM

If you withhold intimacy intentionally, you cannot be upset when we find it somewhere else lol It would be no different if a man said “I didn’t like her thoughts on X, so I don’t really feel like talking to her until she is compatible with me”. Of course she will find another person to open up to, even if it’s another guy… and she will have every right.

Huh? They coincide with each other perfectly. If a man is honest, she has no right to be upset when she doesn’t get commitment. That’s her own false assumption. That doesn’t make him a monster and a “you do you” attitude doesn’t make someone red-pilled.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:54 PM
3

I just told you. I don’t judge women by N counts or obsess over their sexual history. I enjoy them and their company. Other things would include spinning plates or playing the field, which I choose not to do. I serial date, and if I don’t like what I have, it’s on to the next. Both definitely not RP.

Lol, why are you so angry? I’m not RP. I deviate from some of those incels big time. Such as, not caring about a woman’s sexual past (I love promiscuous chicks) among a few other things. But I will do what I do, and her feelings are her feelings… not really my problem as long as I’m honest. Anyways, back to your point… other than not committing to a woman (which would be her own mistaken assumption), how would the latter be hurting anybody?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:31 PM
6

Why are they a monster for focusing on their own happiness? Selfish? Sure… a monster? Far from it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:19 PM

Why’s that? Men can be raised appropriately, no?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:16 PM
2

It’s not necessarily. But in RP eyes it definitely is. So that’s why I’m posing the question. Most mothers would care if their son was committed to an OF’er, but perhaps some won’t. Im interested to see who that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 05:45 PM
1

Fair enough
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 05:43 PM

Really? I’ve always considered Christianity to much more RP. Conservative, male-lead relationships that almost never align with modern feminism, especially when considering sexual behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 05:43 PM

If he brought home a gf who had an OF, but encouraged you to judge her by her personality and not by any indiscretions shes had, would you be okay with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 05:38 PM

Of course this would be many mothers’ preference. But try and pick one or the other.

LOL! I really hope people read this far… You are literally what I’ve been trying to tell people about in this thread. You’re making this too easy. Angry, bitter women who can no longer get commitment from men are everywhere… calling out all the promiscuous women and saying they’re emotionally unhealthy because they’ve swept options right out from under your feet. You can’t make this shit up. Hope everyone else is still reading….

This might actually come as a surprise to you and many others here, but I am actually committed to a woman right now. There is no talk of children or marriage. She’s ambitious and has a career and her own house and literally thousands of options. And…. SEX CAME FIRST. The FDS type will always lose to this type of woman. However, we’ve never seen the likes of the female version of incels (FDS / loads of women who can’t obtain commitment from a quality partner). This is new to our world, and growing rapidly. If what you were saying were true, FDS wouldn’t be rounding 200k members. Droves of women, not just on Reddit, are fed up with be treated like a wet hole and either trying to raise their standards (by vetting before sex) or leave the dating market entirely. And I don’t blame them… Chad catching feelings is a female delusion to make themselves feel “special” like they have the option of commitment from a man that they actually have no chance with… when the reality is a true Chad never commits. But those things are not easy to come by these days… and certainly not as easy as it was for their mothers. Men are rapidly dropping out of the marriage market and it’s seems even more than ever, relationships are ending because “he won’t propose” or “he’s wasting my time” (though the last is my anecdotal experience). Case in point: the explosion of FDS type females, who are having a harder and harder time getting commitment from valuable men and many are exiting the dating market entirely. Yes,…

I mean some of that might be true in pockets and subsets of certain groups of people. But dating app data is far from reality, and I would even go as far as saying it’s the exception. I’m 5’10” and don’t do very well with women I’m attracted to when it comes to app dating (always get tons of interest from lower SMV females), but this is because my height wont even pass the filter for most attractive women (6’+). They may not be right for the woman that wants to wait to get to know someone. But she is automatically leaving men on the table that would otherwise be an outstanding life partner to her. Haha your last paragraph made me laugh. But I suppose it could be a false dichotomy. But it seems that it’s not. Well, that’s the whole point of my post. I’m not Chad at all. Most of my circles aren’t either. I wouldn’t consider any of us top tier men. And yet, almost all of us have decided which women we were going to pursue a relationship with and we are all able to replace GFs/wives/fwbs relatively quickly. Almost all women we’ve slept with have wanted to take things further, and we’ve been the ones to decide which ones we wanted to have a relationship with. Again, not a brag post at all, because we are…

Because those are incel types to flock to the internet to consistently complain about how bad life is. And I have no sympathy for them. They need to embrace their life and get out and be social. Or…. Accept celibacy. It is a disproportionately skewed user base in those subs. Admittedly, to counter my own point, I guess the same skew could be applied to FDS.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/21 03:15 AM
3

Perhaps my viewpoint is skewed/flawed then. But the world I see around me daily, and in media, is nothing like the incel driven horseshit I see around Reddit. Maybe California is just a better place to be an average guy (which I don’t even see how, we’re competing with beachside millionaires at every turn), but in almost all of my circles, no guy has a problem getting laid. And they’ve all dictated which woman they were going to keep around seriously at some point. And, most of the women I’ve da…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/21 03:03 AM

I don’t even know what we’re disagreeing about anymore… I never said it was bad for a woman to be single. My point was that women have it made easier than ever for men to access sex, which simultaneously makes women more replaceable. All this makes things tougher for the women that want commitment before sex. That’s my entire point. And the FDS sub has been growing rapidly. It’s not a male fantasy that women are increasingly frustrated that they can’t land quality commitment.

You said it better than I could, thank you.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/21 02:19 AM

Then how do you explain the explosive growth in women with the “where are all the good men at?” attitude and FDS types? That sub is almost entirely aimed at avoiding casual encounters with men, and trying very hard to vet men first. Women are increasingly frustrated at being pumped and dumped and exiting the dating market entirely. They’d rather be alone because they can’t get commitment from a man… not because they’d rather be alone than have commitment from a man. Huge difference. But to your …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/21 02:14 AM

FFS… exactly! BOYFRIEND That is commitment! We’re talking about casual sex taking place before the woman can get him to commit to any exclusivity with her whatsoever. Sex is becoming more and more of a prerequisite to any type of exclusivity. Dating for marriage can require many prospects… and the subset of women who don’t want to fuck every single guy they go on a few dates with, is not small.

Not sure what statistics you’re referring to, but a couple half ass studies about how men feel after getting divorce screwed don’t constitute how young men are doing in the dating market. Popular media does not constitute my anecdotes. Women are largely the gender to continue to obsess about marriage. I can’t answer for those men. I personally love this time to be alive as a man. It’s so much better for me than my father or grandfathers. But many women I’ve dated and/or been friends with complain about commitment from men. Not ever getting married is constantly a concern of theirs. Seems like they got the short end of the stick.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/21 12:43 AM

Like I said, that may have been true in the past. But men have fast caught up in finding everything they need, including sex, without a gf/wife. If what you say is true, why do so many women still obsess over getting married? Women dumping men for not proposing is still a very common thing.

They may have been true in the past. It would also explain why even many rich old men are faithfully married. But it is just not the case anymore. Only for low value men. Young rich bachelors are hardly ever tied down. And they certainly wouldn’t be crushed if someone left them. Those longevity and happiness studies are the real cope…. for women. Of course men are devastated when children and a large amount of their wealth is stripped from them. But let’s stop kidding ourselves. Look around. The…

What does she have to keep him that he can’t get somewhere else? The reverse has always been true for women. But, conventionally, they wanted commitment more than the man. So the man generally had to play by their rules. Not the case anymore… all sexual liberation did was bring men to the same sexual playing field that women have had for generations. Now we can play by the same rules much easier, but all they got out of it was not being slut shamed (who gives a shit what incels think anyway?). D…

BECAUSE THERE ARE MORE WOMEN WHO WANT COMMITMENT THAN THERE ARE MEN. I don’t know how else to explain myself. And I didn’t say marriage, I said many women want to wait until they have some sign of COMMITMENT before they sleep with a man. I completely agree and wish most women thought like this. Unfortunately, there’s a common trope, especially around here that women are happier alone, don’t want men anymore etc.. I just have to laugh when I see that. It would be great…. But look around in the real world. We need to stop pretending like there’s more men that want to buy a ring than there is women who want to be proposed to.

You’re conflating two separate subjects entirely. Where I’m from (as with many other places around the world), arranged relationships and borderline child slavery were never a thing here. And it’s been that way since long before feminism came around. But with vetting, you’re still completely missing the point that there are many women who don’t want to have sex before there is commitment…

I agree actually. I think many women are able to navigate the casual scene and the serious dating world pretty well. I do feel bad for the women who valued their chastity or maybe wanted to date men before sleeping with them. It seems they’ve been dealt a much tougher hand in today’s world.

Idk why you keep bringing up fathers forcing daughters to do things. It’s irrelevant to this conversation. And forced? Of course not… they would be better off alone. but it still doesn’t change the fact that they wanted commitment and I didn’t. There was a time, when a man could be vetted. He had to at least get to know her, because he didn’t have a choice. She held all the keys to taking things further. Nowadays, women are very frequently limited to 2 options: Put out or let him walk. Because i…

I agree 100%. Forced commitment is bad. Let me reiterate that none of this is bad for me. I love it. Sex is much easier and better for me than it was for my father. However, I’m not sure I can say that the girls I’ve left behind (who wanted to be GFs) can say the same. So many women want more once they sleep with you (not all, I know). Guys just aren’t as eager (at least in California social circles I’ve been in).

No no no. I do not want us to go backwards! Sexually speaking, it has benefited my generation far more than my fathers generation. But, it is my experience that has also been far more beneficial to my friends and I than it was to the women we dated who wanted more with us. They are the ones who got the short end of the stick. We didn’t even have to like them to sleep with them. This wouldn’t have been possible decades ago in the days of courting.

I assume it because if the number of men who want commitment is smaller than the number of women who want commitment, then there will be more women looking for commitment than men. The remaining women who want commitment will be forced to play a game they don’t necessarily want to play (hence, FDS). But with sex being more available now, men will no longer have to wait through a woman’s vetting process or even get to know her. Solid point. From relationship standpoint, he’s probably worse off than the clear power advantage he had over a woman in say, the 50s. But it’s been touted over and over that men only want one thing. Even if this is only partially true, then the guy who wants that is far better off today.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 08:10 PM

Of course, and I agree. But, if the number of men who want casual relationships is greater than the number of women who want casual relationships, then the remaining women who are looking for commitment will have a harder and harder time finding it as time goes on.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 08:07 PM
-1

Again, you don’t see the detriment. There are still many, many women out there who want commitment. I agree with you 100% that nobody should be committed to anyone they don’t want. But what about the women who really DO want that? They are going to be forced to play a game that many have not wanted to play. Ex.: FDS users looking for man to commit without sex.

Of course, feminism as a whole has been beneficial for everyone, not just women. We are a better society because of it. But, feminism induced sexual liberation as it relates to the dating market? A net negative (IMO) for the women who still really want commitment.

Best argument I’ve heard today. I had not taken age gap into consideration. Though, I’m not sure future generations of men would still be as keen on commitment as our fathers. But your point still stands. I wonder if we will see a rise in large age gap relationships 🤔

It may not be negative for you, but places like FDS will dry up (pun intended) overnight, or just be absorbed into “where are the good men?” type of women. Vetting before sex to avoid the pump and dump will no longer be a feasible option for most women. The risk of sex will have to be on the table if she wants commitment, even more so than it already is. /r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 07:38 PM

Not all… the number just has to be more than the amount of women who are looking for casual relationships. As long as more women want marriage than men (regardless of how big or small that number is), this will be a problem for women who are seeking commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 07:32 PM

Of course, and I’m even in a wedding next month. Marriage and settling down still exists, and will in the future. But finding commitment will harder in the future.

Perhaps.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 06:21 PM

Actually, I do not consider myself the “right man”. I am not interested in marriage, more children, splitting finances etc. But even if I were a marriageable man, there is no answer for the modern woman, IMO. Even marriageable men have become accustomed to sex. If she’s trying to vet without sex, he may very well bail. This wasn’t an option for most men in the past.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 06:20 PM
-2

Absolutely. But it’s a negative for women who want commitment from a mid-high value male who has many options. She’s powerless in her ability to keep him from straying in the abundance of an openly sexual marketplace. If she’s not interested, great! She’s won. If she wants marriage, it’s only going to get harder in the years to come.

Interesting viewpoint. I haven’t given that idea much thought in the past. My ex wife was never the type to try and drain me financially, and still isnt actually. But I could see this being a positive for guys in that situation.

Yes! And I love the movement, and shame free sex women are promoting! It’s benefitted me (and many guys like me) tremendously! I’m just saying that in general for women who are actually looking for commitment and to settle down, it’s going to be much harder to get guys to stick around (if those men are looking for sex).
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 06:11 PM

Financially, yes. But men have always been sexually replaceable. The opposite has not been true until recently. A man no longer has to stick around for any reason.

What information? I’m only stating observations. I am not Chad by any means, and I do not struggle with relationships at all. Same goes for most of my social circle. It’s in media as well. I do not believe men like us would have had these options decades ago. Though, I could be wrong.

I should’ve titled this post differently. You are correct, true LVM (incels) are in even worse shape than before.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 05:57 PM

I will agree that each end of the spectrum has become more extreme. The incels are in worse shape than before (if you can even imagine that) and top tier men have access now, even though their access was virtually unlimited before. But I think the “average” guy has more relationship power than ever before. Because he can replace what was once irreplaceable.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 05:54 PM
1

Believe me, I’m definitely on board with the movement. It’s benefitted me tremendously as a modern man. But for any woman who’s sought out commitment, it’s a net negative. Most guys aren’t waiting for sex anymore. And guys that can keep their jealous egos in check, they’ve won. In the words of Patrice when someone tried to warn him that he better treat his girl right or she’d fuck someone else: “I don’t give a fuck who she fucks.. why would I care about what she can give away for free??” The mor…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 05:50 PM

Of course the financial aspects of feminism are a net positive, for everyone actually, not just women. However, it doesn’t change the fact that sexual liberation made many women sexually available to many more men. Men are much less threatened by a woman leaving now. She can be replaced. This has always been true for women. But now that it is true for more men, commitment will become a harder and harder thing for women to find.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 05:44 PM
-2

But it’s no longer reserved for high value men. Many more men have options these days. Maybe not all men crush it at OLD, but any decent guy who isn’t awkward can sleep with multiple women. This wasn’t true 30-40 years ago.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 05:37 PM
20

I hear this claim spouted as truth also. Women here act like dick on demand + self supportive income = no use for men anymore. But companionship will never die. Look around… I know it’s anecdotal, but the women who are past their ‘fun stage’ in life are the ones looking to lock a relationship down. It’s hardly men (maybe LVM who have to rely on a relationship to get sporadic sex). Love is still a powerful idea that many women (and men) hold on to.

Seeing how so many women are obsessed with this show, it really just kind of backs up what TRP has always said doesn’t it? Of course it’s dramatization and life is never black and white. Lol, Dan B literally has thousands of women in his DMs. Not prostitutes. He posts about them regularly. And Von De Carlo was far out of Patrice’s league in looks alone and was bringing early 20s females home to him for threesomes. You can’t be serious that you think status isn’t the number one attracting trait in a male. Look at any old creepy politician, movie producer or tech mogul. Patrice had a caller ask a similar question over a decade ago, and his response was “Great, that’s fantastic.” She knows you’d have no problem replacing her. That’s right where you need to be. Sure, I guess she might be projecting, but it’s much more likely that her insecurity around you will forever keep her from leaving you. No, he automatically eliminated attractive women that may have different political views than him via his virtue signaling. Please don’t forget that TRP is amoral, but also apolitical. If he wants to be BP and find “connection”, then he should stop asking for advice on TRP where the goal is to improve one self and have plates (not moralize).

You’re completely missing the point. Whether vaccines are effective or essential is completely irrelevant to this man’s dating profile (from a red pill POV). TRP is amoral, but also, apolitical. The virtue signaling automatically eliminated attractive women that may view politics differently than him. If he wants to make a “connection” with some “like minded girls” (BP as fuck), fine. No, this is what YOU perceive people want. The reality is though, there are many high value men who don’t desire deep relationship and really enjoy frivolous sex. Sex, and sex alone, is very meaningful to many men. Women have a hard time grasping this because sex is free to them, and generally not as pleasurable (in comparison to a man orgasming almost every single time). So my response still stands, women should stop getting into relationships then. Let us all enjoy the commitment free company we seek and we will all be bette…

That’s what I meant though, regardless of “marriage”. Let’s get the rest of women on board with commitment free relationships. Believe me, we’d much prefer that. And, women wouldn’t bear the unequal burden of LTRs or cohabitating. Sounds like a win-win to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 07:38 PM

Awesome! So then please spread this message, and let’s get the rest of the female population on board with a marriage free lifestyle! Us men would be much happier. Unfortunately though, women are usually the ones pressing men on the issue.

It’s not effective dating strategy because, if it is what you say it is, it’s mostly avoiding dating and promotes independence... there’s nothing wrong with that. However, it’s essentially WGTOW then. It doesn’t promote how to successfully date, only how to avoid shitty ones.

Absolutely, I agree that women should NOT accept bad treatment from men. And you’re correct, women would be better off being single than in a shitty relationship. But the very nature of it being a “dating strategy” sub implies that they understand that being with a HVM is better than being single. But these women are mostly upset because men want to pump and dump them, aka being “fuckzoned”. Very similar to a man being “friendzoned”. Yes, that could very well be the case. I am just referring to the actual content posted in the sub from its users. It could be the case also that FDS works very well, but that the only people posting are the ones it hasn’t worked for. But that seems unlikely.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 10:21 AM
2

Of course not. There is no sub that is 100% this or that. But in general, TRP is filled with posts about what worked for them and their experience. FDS is mainly filled with posts about what should work for them, but in reality they are still searching.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 10:18 AM
1

It makes perfect sense.. because it works men share their success of improving their lives. If FDS worked in the sense of finding their HVM and locking him down, the sub wouldn’t be filled with women who are still searching.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 03:54 AM

It’s not. It’s toolbox. Use it or don’t, but it’s a series of steps to take to “improve” your life. It’s no more a belief system than FDS is a belief system. They’re both strategy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 12:35 AM

That’s a false equivalence. That’s a belief system not a strategy forum. There is nothing that Scientologists, or even Christians for that matter, can do to become objectively “better” at it. Only what they believe to be better. If an RP man wants to physically increase his N count or make more money, there are tools within TRP that help him objectively achieve those things. True. However, being alone is still far less beneficial for a woman than being with a HVM, which is exactly why it is a dating strategy sub to begin with. They know this, and it is evident, otherwise it would just be WGTOW.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 11:56 PM
3

Great analysis and point of view that I hadn’t really considered before. In my personal opinion, males have much more control over their value than females (as you eluded to) which is where I believe FDS falls short.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 11:54 PM
1

No. However it can be assumed that most of FDS is still searching, otherwise there would not be a forum. And TRP success has nothing to do with being single. Some vet and hunt for LTRs but many enjoy being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 11:29 PM
6

Haha, well I actually have to agree with you there.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 09:50 PM
7

Well the burden of proof would be on the FDS members who have actually attained their goal. I don’t see much of that at all there. It’s what they think should work based on the standards they’ve set for themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 09:48 PM
1

No, not everyone would implement TRP because it takes serious self reflection and hard work. Most people will just write it off as bullshit. As for FDS, why would it exist at all if it’s members were landing the high value men they were trying to attain? Maybe I need to dive in more... but there isn’t much of the “this is what worked for me” strategy there. It’s more like “this is what I believe to work” strategy.... aka, I’m still single, searching and vetting.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 09:46 PM
1

Fair point. That could be true. But it seems to be highly effective in that particular subset then. I would expect the “former RP” (detox or whatever else they’re called) subs to be more popular if it’s ineffectiveness was widespread though. It seems the guys who stumble across it and implement it don’t generally turn back. They calm down at some point, but never “spit the pill back up” so to speak.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 09:43 PM

Well this is definitely true in general. But in this particular case, one has proven itself to be effective (excluding mass lying) and one really has proven it’s ineffectiveness simply by existing.

I think only women think dating apps are for hookups because that's their experience, hook up w/ a hot guy fuck him and leave. This is accurate. Women get pumped and dumped on Tinder and Bumble by dudes WAY out of their league because they are picky, then come to the conclusion that these are just hookup apps.

Man ain’t that the truth. I realize I’m under 6ft, but I’m 195 with slightly visible abs and blue eyes. Like damn woman..... it’s borderline offensive. Just goes to show the relation between the power of the pussy and their ego inflation.

Absolutely. But any ugly dude who thinks his road to getting laid is going to be easy, is better off just joining MGTOW

Exactly. I don’t know that every man needs to be as savage as he was. I’m certainly not. But the concepts he laid out definitely need to be ingrained in our minds. Basically, not putting anyone up on a pedestal. I think life long attractive men haven’t had to put the thought into any of this. They’re much closer to having the personality of a woman than we realize (i.e. tender ego, using attractiveness to get what they want etc.). Patrice’s theories, when appropriately implemented, virtually eli…

True. But most of want to learn how to attract the women we want. Not settle. I have fat girls in my DMs all day, but I never even give it a second glance because it’s not what I want. And yes, he would go after the big girls. But his LTR, Von Decarlo, was beautiful, and brought girls like her, home to him for threesomes.

Tall? Sure. But most ugly tall dudes still aren’t getting anywhere near the vagina they want. And he was doing this before he was “famous”, which is a stretch in of itself. He was B list at best, even by comedian standards. He was morbidly obese and conventionally very unattractive. His personality (which also led to his status), is what ended up getting him women. He talks about how he acted when he was younger and how everything was “field research” for him. He and Dante Nero go deep into this…

Patrice O’Neal /thread The problem is, most ugly will never have the charisma, confidence or anything else it takes to attract a woman because, well.... they’re ugly. Can they? Absolutely. Because women are not attracted to all the same things men are attracted to. Do they? Absolutely not.

So, if I’m understanding you correctly, since there’s always someone who has more “alpha” qualities than you (and that is true for EVERY male on the planet), then why bother getting laid? Hey man... you do you. But I’m going to keep enjoying my turns.

Because there are fewer high value men than there are hot women. Most decent girls can get plated by a high SMV dude. But most can’t get the commitment from them. Women are the gatekeepers of sex. But men (high value men in particular) are the gate keepers of relationships.

Yes, there are red pill ways to get laid. We know that here. That doesn’t negate that looks matter. It’s only one facet of black pill this IS correct. Dudes who won the genetic lottery will get laid. Red pill or not.

What? I was pointing out that black pill does have SOME truths to it, only in the sense that looks do matter. But it’s not the only thing that matters. Women are never going to stop wanting to fuck the tall, good looking guy with good genes. No matter how “alpha” you think you are or how “beta” he might be to you. But black pill as a whole is defeatist, because they think there’s nothing they can do to overcome the genetic lottery. This is false. We, as RP’ers, know that if we put the work into …

IMO, black pill is defeatist and for pussies with no frame and who don’t want to do the work. They definitely have an impact on how you think. But if you’re able step back, take a breath and remind yourself that you’re taking mind altering narcotics, you can control your mind a little more. Haha As for the EQ, I mainly threw it in because I was in great cardiovascular shape before this cycle (mountain running) and I was hoping it might help offset the dreaded cardio killer that Tren is. I disagree. There’s definitely different kinds of opinions regarding good looking. If it’s Aunt Mae and moms best friend Karen telling you you’re handsome from 12 to 18 years old, that’s a far cry from college peers telling you you’re a good looking guy. That’s all I was getting at. I agree with the rest of your statement if he is attractive though.

You need to seem busier. No ambitious, high value man has time to be sitting on the phone with one woman listening to her feelings. They can sense this too. Ask them to tell you about it over dinner/drinks etc. You don’t have time at the moment, because you’ve got other things you need to do.

There’s no universal path on this one. I will say, try a bunch of physically demanding activities and find what YOU enjoy. I’ve been powerlifting (when our gyms were open), then found out I really enjoyed hiking, then mountaineering. Maybe you will be into cycling? CrossFit? Long distance running? Swimming? You’ll never know until you try. So mix it up a ton right now and find something that you gravitate towards.

Of course. A man should give his girl a chance to shut it down. A good vetting opportunity. If she doesn’t, she just did him a favor by letting him see. If she does, great. If other guy walks away, no harm done. If he doesn’t, time to assess the situation appropriately and take action. However, that’s not what I’m referring to. Woahhhh lol, I never said I thought the blue pill shit was better. Not even close. The resentment comes from being brainwashed with the feminine imperative by these same females as they get older and raise kids. I definitely understand it’s ridiculous to be upset with the way the world operates. But this is why I’m so adamant about young men/boys learning this stuff early. Flipping your world upside down after a failed marriage at 29 years old because the world isn’t the way you were taught definitely causes some resentment. No, not guilt. More like having a grudge against these chicks because TRP worked and it’s apparent that ANY woman has the ability to be this way with the RIGHT man. My brain says “y…

So... Red Pill. Not sure we’re disagreeing on anything really. I know the way. But getting there is a completely different animal. I’m still in a slight rage phase because I wish the world was different.. even fucked chicks / used them out of spite (or maybe some twisted form of payback for them simply being hypergamous). That’s what I meant by internalizing has been difficult. I can never go back to blue. But being calm about being red isn’t easy at all.

I agree with the first part. That it’s possible.. but not that all are going to be malevolent. And there’s nothing wrong with her loving a man opportunistically. I just wish it wasn’t that way. If it’s in her best interest, that’s fair. But it’s also fair for a man to expect a woman to maintain her SMV to suit his best interest (aka the woman who gains 50 lbs in her LTR shouldn’t be upset when her partner doesn’t express the same attraction and love towards her). These things are amoral, not bad…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/20 10:52 PM

AWALT mainly. It’s hard when you start digging someone, but have to step back and realize a woman will never love a man the way he wants to be loved. She will love him opportunistically and the man must continue to improve and/or be her best option. I lift consistently and can and do spin plates at times, but a part of me still wants the blue pilled movie relationship, even though it’s a fallacy. But, my mentality is pretty much the same as yours otherwise.

I agree with your second half. But to be fair, TRP (at least the way it used to be taught) was all about self improvement, so that you can get laid so that you realize it’s NOT the end all, be all. And it’s 100% true. I was dying for sex in my dead bedroom marriage. Thought it would fix everything. After my divorce, I turned everything around in my life and now I could give two shits if I get laid on the regular, because now I’ve proven to myself it’s completely available if I’m feeling the need…

You can make that argument for everything, but it is not bullshit. There is no such thing as a selfless act. Not a single thing anyone does is selfless. It’s the world we live in and is not based on sex/gender. The only two types of people in this world are the ones who accept this, and the ones who don’t.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding 80/20 then. I thought it was claiming that 80% of women are only attracted to the top 20% of men and the rest are virtually invisible to them, regardless of relationship status. But after reading around certain threads and seeing “studies” or “surveys” claiming certain percentages of men that haven’t had sex in over a year and some, over 5 years. I get what you’re saying. But I’m not talking about a tyrannical rule over the pussy, so to speak. Something tells me the women you’re referring to don’t have much of a choice. That isn’t sexual selection. I’m talking about our society as a whole being more transparent about their sexual preferences. Males and females don’t want to stop fucking other people just because they’re in their relationships. They do this because they’ve been taught that it’s morally correct to stay loyal.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/19 01:32 AM

I agree with you. And I don’t want to live in that society either. My thought was just that if it’s going to happen regardless, I believe we could function much more efficiently without the distractions and/or expectations of a mono relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/19 01:05 AM

Hm maybe I’m backwards then. I would absolutely compete for women. Even more so than I already do. And it’s not like 100% of women would be fucking only the top 1% of men. People of similar statuses would still be getting laid. Idk that it would be that much different than it already is now that I think about it. Just more honesty about it all.

I agree. The two are different. At least for humans. But why isn’t procreating the fittest offspring best for our society? Not trying to argue.. I’m just genuinely curious why or when, we as humans, decided that we needed to stray from our strongest survival instincts in order to be civil. I’m not sure society would cease to be civil if we had hierarchies that were abundantly clear to everyone.
