There is no soy-boy “beta” type that is perceived as attractive. All examples are masculine and/or even dark triad. The only blue pill fantasy that exists in media is that the female is able to reign in this masculine character and he settles down with her - but even then, this is red pill acknowledged behavior.

I had an epiphany the other night after coming across a chick flick I have a guilty pleasure for laughing at (“He’s Just Not That Into You”). As a more red-pilled guy, I wouldn’t normally admit to my cinematic interests, but it’s relevant here.

Let’s take a look at what our preconceived notions of blue pill examples are based on and just think about them for a second. Even some of the most popular rom coms and chick flicks are actually far more red pilled than many would like to believe - because they still have to peak the interests of women.

He’s Just Not That Into You - pretty straight forward and actually pretty red pilled, especially the interaction between Scarlett Johansson’s character and Bradley Cooper’s character. She desires the settled down life with a nice man, ends up banging the married man (while living in her own delusion that he’ll leave his wife for her), while stringing along the guy who has given her everything she claims she wants. And Ben Afflecks character is conventionally attractive and seemingly unattainable by never being interested in marriage. Of course he comes around at the very end, and we don’t get to see the inevitable decline of him caving.

Made of Honor - Patrick Dempsey? Say no more. Rich, fit, playboy who playfully talks shit with women and has a steady rotation decides HE wants to settle down, and finally takes the leap to tell his female best friend he wants her to himself, eventually stealing her away from a man she was never even truly in love with, but only loved the idea of living in a castle and being taken care of the rest of her life.

27 Dresses - Not the perfect example, but still an example. Katherine Heigl’s character turns down her rich, nice guy boss for the exciting guy who never believed in marriage and was seemingly unattainable. Sure, he simped some in that movie, but he still had to be attractive to begin with.

Aladdin - The OG fuckboi. Street thief who is extremely adventurous steals the heart of a princess. A fucking princess, yo. He’s far more exciting than any life she would live in the provided security of her palace. Think outlaw biker taking off with the daughter of some prestigious lawyer. Sure, she’ll probably be back for security, but not before she’s lived with the guy she’ll never forget about.

Beauty and the Beast - This one is a little more convoluted, because Gaston is definitely dark triad and hyper masculine. However, without an army, he is still no match for the Beast. And, the Beast is seemingly unattainable in this tale as well. So her interest lies in him, instead of the man who is chasing her.

Cinderella - Prince Charming. Come on. Peak male physique, who is an expert swordsman and battle ready. Sure, a slight blue pill fantasy was created where he seemed to be head over heels for her… but if you need to be red pill convinced as to why she was attracted to him to begin with, then you probably shouldn’t even be on this sub.

The closest blue pill thing I could come up with is “Rumor Has It” with Jennifer Anniston and Mark Ruffalo. She bangs the rich old guy who fucked her mom and grandma already, then her fiancée takes her back. So the ending was definitely blue pill AF. However, the red pill premise still stood in the women’s’ actions.

TLDR; The point is, majority of examples in popular culture NEVER portray a feminine, “beta” man as being attractive. Almost all examples, even in female targeted media, the attractive men, are conventionally red pill attractive. They aren’t the “nice men” (not nice guys, there’s a difference) that feminist culture insists the find attractive these days. The closest thing we have nowadays is media portraying insisting the independence of women who don’t want or need men anymore (think Disney’s “Frozen”). But even then, when there are attractive men presented, there are conventionally red pill attractive.
