not that anything bad has happened. The way I look at it is that, in her mind, not getting her way is bad and a reason to resort to manipulation. It is my task to ignore said manipulation.

" woman is always right" situation No one is always right, much less an entire gender, all the time. I know that the authorities do not think so, as I've gone up against females in my life and beaten them. To wit, in college, a woman accused me of being misogynistic towards her, so I was called in by the campus authorities, as was she. When I arrived, I took a seat and listened quietly to her rantings about how /u/NeatMcGee had offended her religion, her gender, her person by sitting in the same…

Did you not see the link I provided? Advocacy movements are in a zero sum game. In that, when one group gains rights, another invariably loses. This loss can be good or bad. For example, when Afrikaners imposed apartheid in South Africa in the early 1900s, it was good if you were Afrikaner and bad for those that weren't. Likewise, when women were allowed to vote, it was good for them, but men lost some influence and power. When South Sudan gained independence a few years back, the north lost a l…

Why even bother including this? I don't care and TRP certainly doesn't care Because many of the issues that TRP seeks to address are shared by both genders. You don't give a damn because you, like the rest of the vermin in /r/TheRedPill, see women as leeches on the greatness that is the male gender. I'm pretty disgusted by the fact that you think these are the biggest problems happening for men because it means you've clearly done little to no research. The biggest problem facing any human is th…

TRP addresses women and how they think and what they want. Oh, so the approximately 3 and a half billion -- 50% female, 50% male -- on Earth all think and want the same thing? That would be news to any pair of women who have ever had a disagreement over anything, ranging from what shoes to buy to what to have for dinner. I don't give a fuck what a random asshole in the comments does, I'm talking about what TRP has to offer. Stoicism and emotional control are considered highly important. If you'r…

I see, to which I will put a point by point list of thoughts on each of the points raised below: Conversational Skills: Common sense, you don't need a guide to this, any philosophy can teach you what to and not to bring up with another person. To wit, I don't talk about making a student scream in bed while tutoring them. That's just not socially acceptable. I don't need to be taught that. Body language: See above. Except that trp is laden with being butthurt and thinking the non-TRP world is out…

AWALT is patent bullshit, beyond anatomy/biology. There is (more than) enough variation in 22 chromosomes to make it such. Hypergamy is common to both genders, as we're not entirely monogamous. Monogamy is a societal construct, overlayed upon it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/16 05:26 AM

Everything? I see rampant mysoginism throughout most of the TRP posts. Lifting's nice, and probably the only good thing I can take from the philosophy. I don't agree with AWALT, because I don't think reducing women to a single set of common, non-biological characteristics is neither healthy nor productive. I don't agree with hypergamy on the part of women or men (where it appears to be called "plate-spinning" and exalted). Some women cheat, some men cheat. Others do not. And if you're going to p…

What opportunity are men not presented with? The opportunity to put women down? To wit, I can easily call any woman a cunt. That doesn't protect me from whatever consequences may stem from my saying it. Nor should it. Just as I can be an insensitive such-and-such, insinuating that a random chatter's mother rides the cock carousel and get cheered by the RPers among us, it won't keep the more level-headed denizens among us from criticism of my actions.

The ethos of your comment seemingly says that you want a meritocracy. The sentiment of what you say is that let bygones be bygones, if men are 95% of Fortune 500 CEOs, this can be summarily ignored, as they won't hire someone on any bias other than competence, except that we all know this isn't the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/16 06:12 PM

Feminism to me is about the philosophy that a woman is equal to a man insofar as opportunity is concerned. Just as men cock up chances, women should be given the same right to screw up. Whether they choose to take the opportunity or not does not mean it shouldn't be offered to them.

As with any generalisation, I'm sure that some women want the butthurt misogynists that inhabit /r/TheRedPill. And there are some that want the butthurt nice guys that inhabit /r/niceguys. The majority, I suspect, want someone with the social prowess to recognise when it is necessary to be the alpha dog and when it is necessary to be the provider.

The tone of your hard-on relating to your college belies it's supposed "top ranking right under MIT". MIT is one of the top schools in the country. It's business program (Sloane) is top 5, not top 40 and has been so for years. It has had offered PhDs long before 1990, when RIT had its first.

So, you're now ready to admit there is a wage disparity between the genders?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/16 08:58 PM

If a person is not willing to ask for a raise, whose fault is it? The boss? The fact that an income discrepancy exists is not assigning blame. It's acknowledging reality. Yea, it's not like teachers have job security or extensive vacation time relative to most other jobs. Teaching requires patience and empathy, both of which I find more difficult than dealing with numbers. My point says nothing about vacations or job security.

"equal pay for easier work". I must take issue with this characterisation. For me, being a social worker or a teacher is not easier than being a quant. Hence, I studied hard sciences in college and uni. For truly equal work, the wage gap exists because men are more willing to ask for more pay, whereas women strike me as satisfied with what they're given. The above paragraph written, I also feel that I became a quant because I had motivating teachers of both genders in the hard sciences.

The last argument I got into with a TRPer began with him feeling that he was bigger, faster, and could jump higher than me and is now about how I will never get laid because my skin is brown and I "look Indian". Anger is fine, embrace it. What can be a problem is how you choose to channel it. My ex-gf cheated on me. If I'd killed her for it, that would be a problem. Whereas I shrugged it off, so it's less of a problem. Was I angry? Probably, though I (still) don't understand what I felt. Emotions for me are not so much what I feel, but how I act on those feelings. If I throw things and get pouty, that's anger to me. This was more "ok, you have needs, I have needs, let's see if we can meet in the middle"…

RP and BP are not exclusive, they are inside every man. The trick is, to have the awareness to know each and to which degree to apply them. This trick isn't easy to learn and most men default to one (so-called nice guys) or the other (so-called jerks). A majority of nice guys/BP/betas are so frightened of what might happen were they to reveal their other side that they don't do it, until they are forced to, at which point, they overdo it. The reason why TRP teaches to practice RP all the time is…

Part of how I see RP is that it's an individual practise. Others can provide advice, but in the end, we don't have the knowledge necessary to make the decision that you do. The only thing I see that may apply to every such question is that RP stresses self-confidence. And, therefore, it behooves you to take a risk, fail, and try again. RP stresses resilence in the face of hardship, above all else, after all.

I feel like I've done something wrong here -- was it okay/fair for me to ask him to keep noise levels down? Was it too disrespectful to him? My sister texted me and asked what I said to him, and I don't know if I've hurt his feelings or something. Or if I've crossed some boundary because it's my sister's boyfriend. In my view, you have a duty to express what you want. It's not wrong and more than fair for communicating your desires to him. It's your duty as a human being.

So hiring women over men 2:1 is not sexist? Not necessarily. Entry-level, assistant professors are different from bringing in a department head. Also, a professor at Stanford or MIT is of a different calibre than one at, say, Chico State University or CUNY. almost all of the best scientists and engineers are men I've made this observation in the past. If you have to ask, you're missing the point, namely that a test is yours and yours alone to judge whether you passed or failed. It doesn't matter what I think. Here's why: I'm presented with 7 lines of text to judge. I have no clue what happened before or after, no idea how the lines were said, etc. I don't know you or this girl. Society will become more productive. At the same time society will be annoyed that there isn't any blue pill males to take advantage of. [Disclaimer: I'm in an LTR with one woman] Alpha behaviours are not meant to be practiced all the time. To be successful, one's behaviour needs to be calibrated to one's partner. As a hypothetical example, if my girlfriend comes home and starts crying because her mother passed on, the correct behaviour is to put my arm around her and ask her what's troubling her instead of showing her tough love or nexting her.
